The hotel looks old (no lift) but the people working inside are very polite and friendly. All the receptionists are excellent. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and warm. It is also near the night food stalls and few blocks from 7/11.

I have used this budget hotel over many years on visits to Chiang Mai and recently I was pleasantly surprised to book a room in the newly opened multi-story annex which provides luxury accommodation. This annex is named the A – HA (Inthanin) and for 650 baht per night one can enjoy a spacious and comfortable air conditioned room with modern décor. Unlike the budget accommodation, there is a refrigerator, electric kettle, a range of modern furniture including a large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a modern shower cubicle. The colour television is of latest design which also enables you to access the internet and other popular apps. All rooms have a small balcony and you can enjoy panoramic views of Chiang Mai from the upper floors. To book a room you must still go to the main reception in the older hotel however there is a small reception area for enquiries and key-drop etc. You can enjoy drinks, food and snacks on an adjacent patio. There is ample parking space, some of which is covered. The budget “commercial traveller” type hotel is very popular with Thai business people and families for overnight stays. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk of the old walled city and the Central Plaza Shopping complex but to get to the Night Bazaar and its surrounding entertainment you must take a tuk-tuk or taxi bus. The Reception girls are not fluent in English language but they try their best and you are made very welcome. If you are on a car, motorbike or bicycle tour of North West Thailand (Lanna) this hotel, budget or luxury, would be ideal whilst visiting Chiang Mai. The inner ring round is quite near and provides a fairly easy departure avoiding all the traffic congestion in the central area. From the airport it is about 15 minutes drive by taxi and costs around 150 baht – if booked at the taxi desk in the airport. It is slightly longer and a little more expensive from the bus and railway stations.

This place is definitely great for anyone travelling on a budget. Clean and tidy, comfortable bed plus a shower! The ladies at the front desk hardly spoke any English but that just added to the charm. It's about a 15min walk to the walled city, but when you get there just hire a scooter and then chiang mai is your oyster. We stayed for a week and then 2 more nights after we came back from Pai. The street food in the area is good and so are some of the cafés. Come try this place out, its great value!

Generally most hotels in Chiang Mai were expensive. To find a cheap and good one was really difficult. As my family haven't book any hotel prior arriving in Chinag Mai, once when we touched down, we asked a red transport driver to recommend to us. He brought us here and straight away we felt welcome the moment we saw the front desk lady. She assisted us in many ways by telling us the places to go and how to go about in Chiang Mai. ||Once when we step into our room, the look wasn't magnificent. Everything were dated but what important to us, everything works well. From a strong air con, comfy bed and pillows to the water heater, all were fine. Our room was cleaned and the bed were tidied daily without failed. Bottled drinks were replenished everyday and there was even a water dispenser at the lobby area. Breakfast also provided but limited. Anyway, we hardly ate breakfast or dine at the hotel there coz we were out real early even before breakfast was served. ||I would highly recommend this hotel for those on a shoestring budget. Don't worry about the distance from this hotel to anywhere you wanna go coz red transport and tuk tuk easily assessable and the fare was really cheap. For a mere 400 plus baht per night, it was worth the stay.

This is still my regular hotel when visiting Chiang Mai. There has been a change in layout of the patio area where you can take coffee, tea or chocolate along with assorted snacks for breakfast and throughout the day. Chilled cabinets offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Nearby is a very popular night "street food" market where you can choose from a wide range of typical Thai dishes that you can take back and eat on the patio or in your room. The hotel does not have a restaurant. The reception staff will kindly provide plates and cutlery should you need them. The current rate for a double room is 690 baht per night. The adjacent hotel (same complex) offers more inexpensive rates but is basic. There are plenty of car parking spaces. You will have to take a taxi-bus or tuk-tuk to visit the popular Night Bazaar area. I have already reviewed the top quality rooms.

This hostel is not too far from Chiang Mai center. The rooms are really simple but clean. You will not choose it to stay in and chill but it is a good place to explore Chiang Mai and its surroundings.||The manager is flexible because he has accepted we cancelled our last night booked.
