Intiqa Hotel

Small hotel close to the centre of town, our double room was small but adequate. There was a bath with a sliding shower screen on the side, it didn't completely cover the length of the bath but provided adequate cover so as not to flood the bathroom. Plenty of hot water. ||Hot water was provided in a flask to make tea, which was a nice touch missing in many hotels during our tour. ||There is a small lift, reception area reasonable size with a few settees to sit on. Reception was friendly and helpful.||Breakfast served on the top floor consisting of buffet with a decent selection of itema and eggs cooked to order. The view is of building work surrounding the hotel.

We stayed two nights in September 2025. Nice hotel, decent breakfast - but what really elevated our experience was the warm and friendly service at the Reception. All the staff were nice, but special mention of Vaishnawa. Noticing from my passport that it was my birthday, she organised a surprise card and gift in our room on our return in the afternoon from our tour of lake Titicaca. I was very touched. These personal touches matter!

Nice hotel, stayed here twice, one night each. Some people have complained about cold rooms in the past - that has not been our experience at all. Puno is freezing at the moment but our room was nice and warm, so they seem to have that sorted out. Receptionist was really helpful, kind and smiling! Had our luggage stored while visiting the islands for an overnight stay and they had already put our bags in the room when we arrived. Most recommended.

Hotel in the city of Puno close to lake Titikaka. It is on walking distance to the main plaza, cathedral and main streets witj shops and restaurants. The hitel is clean and modern. Breakfast is extended and the absolute winner here is the staff. Very friendly and helpfull with information and with helping out with local tour operators. When you're in Puno, recommended!

Reception was very friendly and efficient. Lift. Laundry service. Room fine, however didn't have block out blind and was a bit noisy facing the street. We rigged up a blanket over the window to block out the light so we could sleep. Otherwise hotel was fine and a good location near main square.

Talk to the guy at the front desk. He was very nice and kind, also very helpful and always smiling! He helped us to pack box breakfast as we leave early in the morning. He also shared a lot about his culture, puno. Room was warm with the heater. It’s nearby the main attractions. Love it!

The inner room was quiet and warm (with the heater). There was a nice touch - water heating pads! At the hotel they also have oxygen for emergencies. The location is great - in a safe area next to the city center. Generally a very nice hotel, just keep in mind that it’s basic and a bit outdated, but that’s the case almost everywhere in Peru.
