Intiqa Hotel

Nice hotel, stayed here twice, one night each. Some people have complained about cold rooms in the past - that has not been our experience at all. Puno is freezing at the moment but our room was nice and warm, so they seem to have that sorted out. Receptionist was really helpful, kind and smiling! Had our luggage stored while visiting the islands for an overnight stay and they had already put our bags in the room when we arrived. Most recommended.

Talk to the guy at the front desk. He was very nice and kind, also very helpful and always smiling! He helped us to pack box breakfast as we leave early in the morning. He also shared a lot about his culture, puno. Room was warm with the heater. It’s nearby the main attractions. Love it!

The guy at the front desk was very nice and kind, also very helpful and always smiling! The breakfast was very good and the staff at the restaurant was helpful. The inner room was quiet and warm (with the heater). There was a nice touch - water heating pads! At the hotel they also have oxygen for emergencies. The location is great - in a safe area next to the city center. Generally a very nice hotel, just keep in mind that it’s basic and a bit outdated, but that’s the case almost everywhere in Peru.
