This is a wonderful place. Great chilled vibe, easy to chat with like minded folks. Lovely staff. Very helpful accommodating and friendly. I came down ill on arrival and had to call an emergency doctor and the staff were so caring and helpful. It's become my home from home in Cusco, came for 3 nights, stayed 8! Will definitely come back again in future. Very good value reasonable prices, nice free breakfast and good food! Cheers, Dave

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Unless you absolutely want to freeze your ass everywhere. COLD showers and cold hostel in hallways. Do not let the 300 mansion sell you! There's no common area so it's basically outside and it makes going to the bathroom at night difficult . They lock you in with the gate and the front door and so if you are needing to catch a ride in a hurry you have to ask them to open the gate and the front door . I would highly suggest Black Llhama hostel as it's higher quality and hot water for your shower. Also it has a nice warm common area.

In some parts the hostel was okay to stay in, in others it was quite annoying. One of the annoying things is that the rooms are really cold and there’s no communal space inside. When you step out of the room you’re in the outside, this can be quite uncomfortable if you want to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The breakfast is pretty underwhelming but it does the job. No kitchen to use. You can hear everything that is going on in the communal area when you’re in the room. For the price it’s okay and the location is nice.

My son and I stayed in one of the private rooms for a total of 4 nights before and after our Salkantay trek. First off, the guy at the front desk named Em is so kind! The bed was comfortable, the breakfast of coffee, scrambled eggs and fresh bread was great. The centre courtyard is nice for hanging out. The food they make is very tasty and not too expensive. The location is great. About 5 minutes walk from the central square. For the price this place is great. It’s not super fancy but it is clean and the staff are very nice.

Room was comfy and clean, at check in we seemed to bother agent check in, no mention of no hot water or WiFi, we had to keep going back for questions. The next morning they were able to get the water on. The girl at La Cultural Burgers was super cute and helpful in the morning.

Beautiful and charming hostel that goes above and beyond any other I’ve experienced. The service was friendly and very helpful, even calling me a cab to farther places I wanted to explore. However the location is so central I spent most of my trip walking comfortably to anywhere I needed. As a solo female traveler I valued the lockers and clean women’s restroom, I felt very safe. The included breakfast is filling, and the comfort of having a burger restaurant and bar open up at night helped take off pressure to decide where to go at night; I got to enjoy an alpaca burger from the comfort of my own home. They also had vegetarian options available. Beautifully decorated and of course I am including a picture of the VIEW from my room which was GORGEOUS!! In the end this was so affordable and made my trip to Cusco a breeze, coming home for the night to recharge somewhere clean spacious and private was amazing.

I absolutely loved staying here! The staff is extremely friendly and felt like family. I loved seeing elizabeth in the morning and getting eggs with the local bread. I had a room to myself and it was so spacious and cozy. At night it becomes a bar and a burger shop that has an amazing alpaca burger and occasional bonfire. Will go again.
