Inveraray Hostel

As always, excellent. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable. Beds are excellent. Toilets and showers are exceptionally clean. Very central location for shops, amenities, pubs/restaurants and visitors attractions. I come to Inveraray every few months for choir rehearsals and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Love the quiet time in the sleeping area. Very much appreciated after a 3 hour rehearsal!!

James was a super host and met all of our needs. ||A group of 5 of us were cycling through Inveraray. James was able to help store our bikes in a safe location and was very flexible with check in time. Parking is also available. The hostel itself was exactly what we needed, with clean bathrooms, great kitchen facilities and comfy beds. ||Would recommend to anyone in Dumfries or travelling through.

I spent last night at The Inveraray Hostel, which was an absolutely fantastic experience and by far was the best £34 I've spent. I was welcomed by James who was extremely helpful throughout my stay I was shown to my private room with bunk beds and a small chair. There was a few plugs points for charging my phone and a small shelf with some wall hooks for my jacket. It was perfect for my needs. The shared shower and toilet room was spotless and I had a lovely shower with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was better stocked than my one at home with everything that anyone would need. I didn't try the complimentary cake or coffee however , I did prepare breakfast in the kitchen on the morning I left. The hostel sits about 300 metres from the main road and is close to all immenies as well as the stunning views that Inveraray boasts This was my first time hosteling howevery, it certainly won't be my last and I'm now looking forward to returning with my wife to visit James and Inverary Hostel in the very near future. Best day, I had in a long time.

Lovely hostel in a great location. Friendly owner who was always happy to help. Room small but comfortable. Small and reasonably well equipped kitchen. Drying room was not particularly warm! Free tea and local coffee was a nice touch.

The hostel is very clean, easy to reach, really central ... The owner is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and a lot was done with stainless steel. I think it's great.

A smashing wee place to stay in Inveraray. Lovely relaxed vibe, very clean, bike shed and right in town. Kept to an excellent standard.

Quiet but near to main streets. Lovely helpful receptionist who seems to do everything. Spacious dining kitchen with a small offset lounge. Reasonable sized car park. Our twin bunk bed room was big enough for our needs. Adequate shower and toilet facilities.Clean and tidy throughout

Perfect place to stay. James was very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were good and clean, and the location was perfect for a short stay or if you have hiking in mind. Plenty of routs just a short drive away. Extra star goes to the well equipped kitchen and beautiful garden. Would definitely stay again.
