Very nice hostel with a big kitchen where you can cook your own meal. They have a nice green area and a chill location. Also very friendly staff and additional services. It is definitely a good option for your group of friends or even a family. If I come back to Inverness I will stay here again. I would like to suggest for the receptionists give better information about the hostel services. They have an option for buy a "cooked breakfast", however, must be pre-booked. I just found out about this on my last day, after reading a few posters. If the receptionist had told me this during my check-in. I would had buy the cooked breakfast option every day. Also, I stayed in the best room, number 201, with a nice view of the city horizon, however, because it is located beside a bathroom, you can listen to people taking shower, which is not a big problem when you imagine that it is raining outside and the noise becomes comfortable. Still, the staff is very polite, like most people in Scotland.

I stayed there for one night and trust me when I tell you the underground is cleaner and better to spend the night. The rooms were so small and they didn't even have a shower let along a socket to charge my phone . When we woke up we had to take the sheets of and the pillow cases . So not only did we pay them for this awful room but they couldn't even clean it ... The food did not taste like food more like plastic ... Advise for people who want to stay there the streets are more comfortable .

We had a private room with to single beds And On Suite. Everything was Clean and functional. What was missing was some hooks to hang up your coat, and a nice Big Enough plank to put on your toiletries in the bathroom. Location was great, close Enough to the centrum but Far Enough to be bothered by the centrum. Big supermarket on Walking distance. Better use that One For Your breakfast, because however cheap The breakfast provided was not suitable for my taste. Self-catering Kitchen was good equipped and utensils nice and Clean.

This hostel is ten minute walk to the city center so pretty great. The hostel itself is quite outdated and looks straight from the 70s on the inside but facilities were good. However we had a private room with two beds and there was only one outlet in the entire room, opposite of the beds. You could also hear everything from the hallways and the room adjacent.

Out of the way of the city center, and probably easily accessible by bus. We walked back and forth, and enjoyed the walk every time! Got to explore the city, from its touristy areas to the resident neighborhoods. There was an orange cat there, too! So friendly 💛. The rooms were tidy, bathrooms and showers were also tidy. The rooms smelled a bit musty, but we just opened the window. I think our room had one outlet and all 6 of us had to share one, but we made it work! Our room also had a sink.

This is a very comfortable custom built Youth Hostel. They were very friendly and helpful. It was built in the 70's (guessing from the architecture) so the only problem I had was finding a power point to charge the phone. It is a bit of a walk from the centre and the station.

This hostel is clean throughout. I had a private single room with ensuite washroom. The bed was not the most comfortable but it was fine for the one night. The shared kitchen is well stocked and staff frequently check that it is clean.

While I generally enjoy SYHA hostels, this one is in need of some love. Specifically the rooms, ours had two plug sockets for 6 beds, just not enough in this age. The mattresses were also well aged, and the bedside lights did not work. The bathrooms would also benefit from a modernization, or at least someone to fix the extractor fans. Kitchen and common areas were all nice and staff were friendly. Bit of a walk from the station, maybe 10 minutes at a good pace.
