inVINcible wine shoppe/wine bar

Feb. 2024 - We visited this nice little restaurant and wine bar twice and were more than satisfied both times. In addition to fantastic steaks and good wines, we also found the service very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, we had to travel on again today. But we will be back - at the latest on our next stay in Franschhoek Feb. 2025 . We did it again… and yes, it was as good as last year. !!!! A cool place, fantastic steaks and wine and a great staff. We promise - we are back in Feb 2026 🇿🇦😎☀️

My wife and I were walking down the street in Franschhoek and stumbled upon here for lunch. This has to be a MUST SEE for anyone else. We had fillet steak and chips with 2 glasses of their cabernet sauvignon. They are not part of the wine tram (we did pink line day before) and wish we knew of here before hand as we would love to do a tour of their winery! Excellent staff as well

Lovely small bistro serving the highest quality steak and huge wine selection from the Boekenhoutskloof Winery including the delicious Chocolate Block. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Franschhoek has a PROPER steak restaurant! Ryan Boom serves dry aged grass fed beef with an elegant simplicity that is hard to beat. Attentive staff, a beautiful setting and a well curated wine list make this difficult to bear.

Excellent Dipping steak with chimchurri and good wine. Great atmosphere on the street frontage and a good size dish to share if you need your food topped up. Would recommend

Absolutely lovely place and inside very “feely” - burger was awesome but fish (kingklip) was very dry asif it was frozen and not left the north pole yet…. Staff extremely friendly and helpful especially Brian

Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the location on the main street is great for people watching. However, service was hit and miss and the staff were not particularly friendly or engaging. Our server was also pretty pushy about a tip, and didn't seen satisfied with the 15% we left. The wine menu is large and very well priced. The food menu was small but the quality of the steaks was top notch. My only comment would be that my steak was served on the bone and by the time the bone was removed, the steak portion was pretty small (by SA standards at least). The price was reasonable given the high quality. The chips were delicious, as was the burger ordered by another member of our party.

Wine shop offering tasting of Boekenhoutskloof wines. Wide and deep selection of all their wines. Loved the owner of the shop, who allowed us a taste of his exclusive Porseleinberg Shiraz blend. Fantastic wine!
