Google
After 3 1/2 days of Mexican food + tequila, we needed break. Stumbled into In Vita Italian Ristorante + Wine Bar. It was awesome. Best Chicken Picatta my wife has had and my Gnocchi Bolognese was rock star🤩 Server Luis was a real pro. Professional service and super personal. Excellent wine program. I love local so wanted to have a wine from Mexico. Luis recommended the Bruma Bianco (#sauvignonblanc) from the Valle de Guadalupe in the Baja Peninsula. It was a great; a perfect wine with our Fritto Misto and Caprese. Highly recommend a visit when in Cabo!

Google
Best Italian restaurant in Cabo. They have a large selection of high quality food plus an excellent wine list, though the wine prices are quite high. Service is excellent. The arancini with truffle sauce is amazing and the pasta with sausage and broccoli is very good. Of course the tiramisu is as good as it gets! Highly recommended.

Google
This place is a gem! Great food and excellent service by Luis and Carlos. Luis was our main server and he was very knowledgeable of the food and wine list. He made great recommendations for our family. I took my girls last year ( 11 and 14 yrs) and we decided to come back and this place never fails to provide a cozy dinning. It’s away from the busy eating places nestle in the upper town near a plaza. Great place if you want to have pasta and get away from the busy beaches. Ask for Luis and Carlos they are the best!!

Google
This was our second time having dinner here this week, and we’ll be back whenever we return to Cabo San Lucas. We had the lasagna the other night and it was fantastic. Tonight my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the pasta with Italian sausage and broccoli. Both were delicious. Our server said their tiramisu was the best in Cabo, and I have to agree. *chef’s kiss*

Stopped in for a snack before the art show across the street. Perfect Negroni. Thanks Ivan! The Cesar salad was on point. Nice cheeses, prosciutto, and compote amongst other tasty bits on the antipasto board. Off to the art show...

Google
Amazing spot for a lunch. They can accommodate small groups or larger. The ambiance is fantastic and restaurant is clean. I had the sausage and broccoli pasta it was delicious. My server Diego was attentive and kind and his English is great. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would absolutely come back.

Google
Great spot to get away from the buzz yet still close-in. Delicious pasta and seafood, wonderful service, extremely affordable yet wonderful wine, and always a lovely finishing touch. We enjoyed the filet and chicken parm along with the fresh caught carpaccio and drinks. Dinner turned out to be a great value considering the quality and prices in Cabo. Make sure Javier takes good care of you, and if he's not in, make sure it's the Mexican George Foreman, you'll know who!

Google
Came for the first time on March 3rd for some wine at the bar, and coincidentally sat next to the owner and his wife. VERY friendly and welcoming and so are the staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable and personable. Came again for dinner on March 20th and our food was delicious! We ordered Bruschetta to start and my husband ordered the homemade gnocchi with pesto sauce and I ordered the chicken Parmesan. We finished off with the gelato. Best gelato I’ve EVER had! The staff is so friendly and make sure you have everything you need and the food is amazing. The scenery is beautiful as they’re right next to a park. 10/10 my favorite place for some Italian food!

Yelp
This is a great restaurant in Cabo. The service was beyond excellent from the moment we stepped foot in the door. The ambiance was excellent and very chill and laid back. The food and drinks were delicious as well. The sangria and tiramisu were the best that I've ever had.

Yelp
It's reassuring to experience the same excellent menu treasures on each return to Cabo. Invita delivers quality fare, well presented, served and seasoned. We've never had a bad meal there.

Yelp
Walking in, you felt welcome. The service was great. The ambience was very personal very connected and the food was out of this world. We will be back.

Yelp
Another great meal with air conditioning!!!!! Yay Invita! And always great service! House wines are so good, but the wine list is also impressive! Started with splitting a Caesar salad. Followed by the best bread and dipping sauce here. Deb had pre birthday pasta with meatballs and i had the famous chicken piccata! Ended by the chef delivering a nice shot of house made limoncello! The place to be. Note to any holders of the passport card, not accepted at dinner.

Yelp
This is a super nice restaurant without five star prices. I am a local and they treat us great. The wine is superior. It's a great place to go during the art walk on Fridays.

Yelp
Good food but the evening was ruined when we got the bill to discover a $16 for two baskets of bread that were dropped on our table by our server Gerry and not requested. We spent over $300 for 6 people and I felt violated for the unnecessary gouging. There are better choices in Cabo. Avoid Gerry and this place.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Tiramisu was out of this world. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Italian in Cabo?? You have to try this restaurant. I will go this far as to say it is amongst the top 3 places to eat at in Cabo. The service is impeccable, the Ambiance is really relaxing, and the food is so good!! I will definitely be coming back here again. Best Passion Fruit Margarita I have ever been served. Try it!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is very good in the ambience is lovely overlooking the beautiful park at night. I've tried a few dishes here with them all being very good, but nothing compares to their amazing signature lasagna. The Cabo passport, which gives you two for one deals on many restaurants is only valid here from 2 to 5 PM which is a pretty stupid time to eat on vacation in Mexico.
google avatar

Yelp
The ambience is intimate, warm, and upscale. The service was excellent. The wine, the Ivinta house red, was delicious and the price was fair. We loved the different breads in the bread basket. The Carpaccio Di Terra, the arancini were delicious. The pastas that we tried were good, not great. The Fasolari tasted great, pasta was cooked perfectly, but the clams were so chewy, it was impossible to eat them, I just ate around them. The Penne Al Salmone had a smoky flavor due to the salmon being smoked rather than fresh, it was not what my husband was expecting. Our daughter loved her simple penne pomodoro. We left full and happy. Fewer menu items that are all excellent would be my preference, rather than hit and miss with such a huge menu.

Yelp
Coming from Carmel-by-the-Sea (California) ... where one expects a gastronomic delight... one might be hard pressed to compete with high end food and service, but Invita Bistro delivered! Every bite was delicious, service was impeccable, they have an extensive wine list, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Great music added to the ambience. Stephen the bartender was personable and Joseline was attentive and sweet. Highly recommend it!

Yelp
Been here several times now and always a good experience. Their salads are super flavorful and large. Loved the Carpaccio Di Terra, it was super fresh and clean. All the pasta dishes we had were excellent, we had many of them and all tried each others, my favorite though was the Penne Prosciutto Piselli, yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great selection of nice wines and a little party favor of a sweet Lemoncello after dinner compliments of the staff.

Frank G.

Yelp
May have had the best dinner ever. Everything was perfect. The staff were awesome. Everything we ate was special. Each detail was simply perfect. From having the right bread paired with the crostini appetizer to the portobello mushrooms in an incredible Gorgonzola sauce to a tender and cooked to perfection filet....even the side fettuccini was special and flavorful. Wife's lasagna was great too. Get the tiramisu desert for the presentation alone. We sat in the wine room which was also a treat away from the heat etc.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The service is amazing. The only negative was the drinks were expensive. I asked for sparkling water and I got a big bottle instead of a smaller Topo Chico. Not there fault my bad though. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Can't wait to got back to Cabo to eat here. Gnocchi is made in house. The spaghetti and meatballs were better then grandmas

Yelp
This was my last night of a 2 week vacation traveling Baja California Sur. I was craving Italian food and air conditioning so badly. I found the coldest room with the friendliest staff here. The weather has been brutal and this was my respite. When I say everything was perfect I mean it sincerely. A very icy cold Beefeater martini to start accompanied with a complimentary bread basket. So many tasty goodies. I had to contain myself. My first course was a Caesar salad. Originally created in Mexico. Such a classic and with a very anchovy forward dressing. My main course was Fettuccine Bolognese. House made pasta and simply perfect. I had a glass of French Cabernet Sauvignon. And then another. I'm so happy I found this place.

Yelp
Always a winner! We come to Invita Bistro every year at least once because you will not find a better dining experience in Cabo. From beginning to end the setvice is excellent with professional and attentive, but not intrusive wait staff. The complimentary bread (focaccia, roll and breadsticks) is accompanied but a wonderful olive paste. the Invita salad never fails to satisfy. We love the seafood linguini (fruit de mar) which I have most times, but the lasagna is my wife's favorite. The specials are always excellent and reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed....

Rapha M.

Yelp
Great restaurant. Pesto gnocchi is amazing!! Great and fast service as well. Jocelyn our server was wonderful

Sandra L.

Yelp
Unfortunately this was our worst food experience while at the resort. All of us ate 1-2 bites and pushed the plates away. The server was extremely slow and the flies were swarming. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

Yelp
If your looking for a special occasion night out in Cabo or a date night romantic spot this is the place to go! My husband and another couple wanted a nice night out to have dinner before leaving Cabo the following day and we couldn't have made a better choice. The food is absolutely amazing and having a husband who is Italian and is extremely picky about his Italian food is always a struggle but Invita did not disappoint! Upon arriving our sommelier Simon pointed us to a great wine that would pair well with our meal and we loved it! I suggest you ask for his recommendation for your own meal as well. We will definitely be returning to Invita when we come back to Cabo in August!

Yelp
The ambience is super good. They greeted us with some breadsticks, focaccia bread and buns on house. The food was really good and was delicious. I hope more people review this place and make this place popular.

Yelp
Always a great stop when visiting Cabo San Lucas. Location is great in downtown area across from the park on Miguel Hildago street. Service was impeccable, Eduardo was our attentive waiter. We also shared the Invita salad and the appetizer charcuterie platter. Everything was delicious. Make it a point to visit when on CSL.

Yelp
Great service and the food came quickly. Our server even brought more bread because we enjoyed it so much (4 different kinds). Each dish was delicious and the portions were perfect. Great ambiance and good prices! Authentic Italian food.

Yelp
I had a short stay in Cabo, because I was only there to board a liveaboard diving boat that operates a trip to Socorro from the local marina. While visiting the liveaboard's host dive shop, since I arrived early in the afternoon and had already checked into my hotel, I happen to stumble upon this restaurant a few doors down the street. The menu they posted out front looked like it would satisfy about any pallet, so I really wanted to give this place a try. I asked the host if I could get a table for two that evening and she was able to fit us in at one of their latest seatings and to please be on-time (They were very busy during this particular evening, because it was at the beginning of the high-season). This was not an issue for me, because my traveling companion was arriving later anyway and would still need time to check into the same hotel as me. My traveling companion arrived a little bit early than expected, so we decided to arrive at the restaurant one half-hour early and was able to get a very nice table without having to wait until our designated reservation time. I am so glad we got to experience this restaurant, because it was absolutely one of the best decisions I made for our first dinner in Cabo. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service from Eduardo (our waiter) was amazing. Very reasonable prices and portion sizes, with lots of Vegetarian options available (I am a vegetarian, but my traveling companion is not). We were so impressed with the dining experience here, that we returned for dinner the next evening.

Yelp
So it is a small quaint restaurant with lots of Italian possibilities, but it's slightly overpriced for when you get. The tomato wrapped cheese appetizer was a nice surprise. The bread basket was quite good with delicious focaccia and bread sticks and a nice red sauce for dipping. The Caprese salad was a major disappointment. It was not a delicious Buratto Cheese but more a mozzarella without a wonderful presentation. My linguini Fruita Del Mare was OK, but not amazing. I had hoped that the pasta would be homemade, or l would not of ordered it. It was not, and although it was OK, it was nothing to write home about. The wine was good, but they charged $77 for an $18 bottle of wine. We told them it was my birthday, so they did bring out a surprise tiny little tiramisu. They spelled happy birthday in chocolate which was cute, but the tiramisu was kind of dry. They did bring out a complementary Limoncello, which I enjoyed so much they brought me a second one. Well I guess that makes up for a lot. If they hadn't of done that I probably would've given it a three. But now I am back in our Casita and I have a very very sick stomach, so not feeling so good about at this restaurant. Not really sure why they have such good ratings?

Yelp
Very quaint and Charming establishment on Cabo's Restaurant Row. Although very busy on a Friday night the service was impeccable. We started with the Carpaccio di Terra with homemade breadsticks which were superb followed by entree sharing of the Gnocchi and Veal Parmigiana which both quite honestly blew me away. It s been many years since I've been here since I fell into a trap of the new Italian restaurants that have opened over the years but I have to admit that this will now be my "go to" Italian restaurant for fine Italian dining! Fantastico!

Denise S.

Yelp
Perfect! Wait staff spot on! Food Incredible, you will not be disappointed. Excellent wine selection, Eduardo the waiter knows the product inside out

Yelp
Amazing! Loved that they had a gluten free pasta option. Service was great. Very attentive and caring people. 2nd time coming here. Loved the place!

Yelp
First time... will definitely go back! Loved the calamari appetizer, spaghetti carbonara, and the tiramisu was a definite repeat! Frittare de mare

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner. After a few days we were tired of tacos so we decided to do Italian. It was a good choice. The meatballs were delicious. Well seasoned. My cousin enjoyed his salmon. I had the ceasar salad topped with fried calamari, shrimp and scallops. The portions were perfect. Good food, great service.
google avatar

Lori P.

Yelp
Go. Eat. Enjoy. Be full. The food and service were amazing. Homemade breads and pasta. Fettuccine funghe lasagna and meatballs, all delicious. Homemade creme brûlée.

David G.

Yelp
Amateur hour. We had high expectations based on its 5 star reviews and our Consierge's recommendation. Waiter told us the signature dish was the lasagna. Basically overcooked pasta mush covered in cheese. The worst I've ever had. Waiter came over just when food served and before I took my first bite to see how everything was. Apparently he did't even look to see if I even tasted. Staff not trained. Before I put my fork down and still chewing my plate was being pulled away. If you like cafeteria food in the guise of a restaurant this is the place. What was really terrible is the food is priced as an expensive restaurant and it is not very good. After coming to Cabo for 25 years this was my worst dining experience. The only bright spot in my dining experience was getting a parking spot in front of the restaurant. Very disappointing.
google avatar

Terry R.

Yelp
Excellent choice for great Italian food while in Cabo. Indoor and outdoor dining available which is great for those not so perfect days. Wide variety of wine choices along with a full bar, be sure to try the espresso martini! Service is great and food was some of the best in the area.
google avatar

Rob K.

Yelp
Wonderful food and ambience. Nicer part of town. Eduardo was a wonderful server. One of the best I've had in awhile. Gracias

Yelp
Another fabulous meal here This time preferred to eat lighter the Mediterranean salad was amazing and then both pastas a Pesto and then a Lasagna were excellent A shrimp scampi like appetizer also wonderful Also enjoyed house wine and a craft beer from England with amazing limoncello served on the house .
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food!! We had the linguini with shrimp and it was amazing. I loved the bread basket with a side of tasty pasta sauce. The fried calamari was delicious. Service was great! Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu especially the pesto AC room is a huge plus!!
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to try InVita for my special Birthday. What a disappointment! The wait staff ran around like chickens with their heads cut off. They rushed us through our cocktail and kept asking if we were ready to order. So we ordered our salad and they asked about our entree and we said we wanted to wait. Also we shared the big Caesar salad and they brought it on one plate for US to split. Also we had to keep our utensils for the main course. We also ordered wine with our dinner. They new it was my birthday and my husband had to remind them. We did get a small piece of tiramisu. NOT AT ALL HAPPY ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY DINNER THERE. Never go back.
google avatar

Niyati D.

Yelp
I was skeptical going into our dinner because the resto is right downtown in tourist central, but it was really lovely all around. There was a very talented saxophonist playing right outside and the windows in the front of the restaurant open up to create a really nice indoor-outdoor vibe. The service was great -- they really pay attention to the small details that make a restaurant experience great. For example, their water is flavored with a hint of fresh lime. I had the parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parm) along with a glass (or two :)) of the house red wine and the tiramisu for dessert. Another great spot for date night!

Juan V.

Yelp
Restaurant was recommended by HGV Cabo Azul concierge. My wife and I have been coming to Los Cabos for over 20 years and have enjoyed many, many nice restaurants. Owner (Antonello) greeted us and we were seated at a nice street table. The service was good and the ambiance was nice. The food, however, was average. We ordered a caesar salad and the dressing was watery and lacked flavor. We ordered a shrimp pasta dish and a simple olive/garlic pasta. Very basic right? Pasta noodles were dry and over cooked. I asked for pine nuts and waiter said "what is that" and then said "it only came in a pesto sauce." Antonello came over and said "of course we have it." Overall an average experience. I would not recommend passing this forward because there are so many other better Italian restaurants in Cabo San Lucas. Please share if you have other recommendations.
google avatar

Gail W.

Yelp
Best Italian food and atmosphere and service just great. Prices are reasonable; too. Chicken parmesan, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs. Wish owner would open restaurant in San Diego. It's a must to eat there when in Cabo!

Arlene C.

Yelp
I started w their tiramisu... i continued my meal w carpaccio Fab dinner, attentive service Will visit again on this trip

Yelp
This was definitely was a treat. The food was amazing and the atmosphere very relaxing. I ordered the mussels and the flavor was on point. The pasta was phenomenal and next level on the freshness. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and delicious wine.

Yelp
Absolutely perfect. I was craving some pasta, so I stopped in and sat on their porch. I had fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. Again, everything was perfect.

Jim B.

Yelp
We were excited to try Invita Bistro based on all of the great reviews and they did not disappoint! From the phone call making the reservation to the time we walked out, they really made us feel special. Everyone we came into contact with was very friendly and VERY attentive. Not in a negative way at all. They did a great job of making sure that all of our needs were met without hovering over us as we tried to eat. The food was amazing. All 4 of us ordered something different and to a person, gave the food 5 stars. We were hesitant to venture out too much because of the Covid concerns, but we were so glad we did. They paid a lot of attention to cleanliness. The staff was masked and all remained as distant as possible from each other and the customers. I can't imagine going back to Cabo and not returning to this great establishment! Thank you again so much Invita Bistro! Jim B

Amy B.

Yelp
Excellent service and amazing food! Recommended by a friend back home...took a little bit of searching (even with Apple Maps ) but we'll worth the "hunt!"
google avatar

Tim A.

Yelp
Third time here and it never disappoints. Best Italian I've ever had. The Mediterranean salad is by far the best salad I've eaten. I could eat it everyday. Chicken Parm is always a great choice.
google avatar

John E.

Yelp
The very best food we had in Cabo. Everyone enjoyed their meals and raved about the food. Chicken parmigiana, lobster raviolis, spaghetti and meatballs, two other pasta dishes, and gelato and crème brûlée for dessert. The service was impeccable and the price shockingly reasonable. $150USD before tip for six. We appreciated the hostess getting us seated without a reservation and for the waiter allowing us to eat without feeling rushed. To top it off, a street performer came to the window and sang a song to my family. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Recommend making reservations for larger parties.

Christina M.

Yelp
Very good service. Lasagna was delicious. Ordered a Greek salad with 4 shrimp on top. Was charged $20 extra for the 4 shrimp. Shame on Invita for price gouging!

Yelp
Hands down best Italian food we've ever eaten. I took mom here for her 70th birthday. The owner is from Rome Italy and is so nice. The food is authentic southern Italian. We went here twice on our stay in Cabo because we just could not get enough. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive. Ambiance is great. There was a saxophone player playing beautifully the whole time we ate. Definitely a must visit when in Cabo San Lucas. On Fridays, there's an art walk and entertainment that can easily be watched from the restaurant open air window seats.
