Love this place in the heart of the Vic Market. The standard of excellence for coffee & croissants is met every time. Friendly & efficient service. The ambience can change with the weather but the seats are comfortable and the tables adequate. Always worth a visit when I'm in the area.

Stumbled upon this gem that serves clean (on all fronts) and delicious food that would support anyone on every form of diet. The staff here are very friendly and very professional. I'd recommend this to all who visits Queen Victoria Market!

Service and food fantastic! Well worth the extra few dollars! We had pulled 'pork' burger and curry accompanied by two almond milk lattes. All vegan and very filling. Light dinner tonight ;)

I was craving some nutritious vegetarian healthy food & these guys provided exactly what I needed. The food was amazing, the presentation was amazing and the service was fantastic and the coffee was a great standard too. Will be back here for sure on my next stop in Melbourne. So many food options. To go wraps, cakes, snacks, Indian currys, pancakes, and brekkie classics. I opted for the Rosti and I had absolutely no food envy.

GREAT PLACE TO GET VEGAN CAKE :) I was on a hunt arount North Melbourne to find a vegan cake for a work morning tea. Lots of cake shops advertise vegan options but when you call they usually dont have any :( I stumbled across *Invita* at the Victoria Market. Its a cafe (sit down and takeaway options) that also sells cakes. The very helpful store owner freshly dressed a chocolate cake for me while I waited. (see pictture) Friendly, helpful service. EFTPOS and cards

Google
Amazing muffin and great menu for vegans!! Ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. Only thing is that they have moved to next to the organically section so the map placement is a little off

Went here today, and was very pleasantly surprised. I usually like my meat but this was just so good, I really didn't miss the meat at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful in finding me a warm meal on a cold day. My friend had the all day breakfast pancakes and they were amazing too! The coffee is just phenomenal, one of he best I have tried. I'll see you again soon! Thanks!!!!

Yelp
Lovely find in Queen Victoria Market. I wanted something to go, so I got the falafel wrap and samosa w/ tamarind sauce. Both vegan and yummy. My sister got one of the green juices and it was really fresh.

Yelp
Still in the Market grounds, but acting as a bastion of quiet an calm, is Invita Cafe. Obtaining much of it's organic & veg/vegan produce from the market, this little cafe offered a welcome respite from the serious queuing, smoke, heat, humidity and noise within the pavillions of the last Night Market of the year. This little cafe offers drinks & juices, cakes, pies, wraps and salads for eating in their little courtyard or takeaway. Service is friendly and prompt. My large mixed salad ($10) had a sweet potato and chickpea and mung bean with soy dressing in a large biodegradable takeaway container. The salads were tasty and filling without being amazing, but extra points for being local and organic. It's a healthy and ethical choice for a filling takeaway meal, plus a good place to relax if the QV Markets are too hectic.

Yelp
Invita offers a great range of freshly prepared vegetarian and vegan lunch and breakfast items, and delectable baked goods. Tucked in just next to the organics section, it's an excellent spot to stop for a bite during your market shopping, grab take-away if you're running back to the office. It's even a good place to come for lunch in its own right if you need some fresh air and a change of scene. With all the other great food options at the QV Market, why come here? One reason would be if you are vegetarian or vegan. In all truth, I'm a bit of a carnivore, but my obnoxious dairy allergy means I've forged a secret alliance with the vegan crowd; which is to say, sometimes it's just good to know that I won't break out in hives after lunch. But I also know that bad vegan food is inexcusable, and Invita is consistently pretty good. The salad selection can be a little spotty (sometimes too oily, other times just a little boring) and most of the standard menus offerings (shepherd's pie, rice balls, etc.) have never really done it for me, but the soups and curries never fail to please. And if you have a sweet tooth, don't miss the cakes. If you are vegan, you will be super excited about all the options you have in that department. The other reason to come here is that nothing beats lunch at the Queen Victoria Market on a sunny day, and Invita has one of the better set-ups going, with plenty of outdoor seating, perfectly poised for people-watching.

Yelp
This was an awesome find. Google Maps seems to lead you a little astray, so best to look right on Therry St across from "Books for Cooks" and "Minh Phat Supermarket". They offer vegetarian and vegan breakfast items, and we both ordered the vegan tofu scramble. Probably the best tofu scramble I've had and I don't say that lightly. Reasonable portions and priced for Melbourne. Coffee was delicious too. The seating is outside on a covered patio, which is suitable for nearly all year round. Highly recommended place.

Yelp
Flavoursome and healthy food in a great atmosphere. The cakes are nicer than they look :)
