A nice huge mall with many shops and an adjacent underground station. I came there at the end of Jan. 2025 to watch the traditional New Year's Lion dance which was great. Many people are coming to this show, and you must arrive well in advance to get a good viewing spot.

I think this is a higher end shopping area. There are plenty of shops and really comfortable. As a tourist, i think the architecture is beautiful. Everything was just grand and posh. Photo taking is a must here. Oh yes, it should be outdoor.

This is a very large mall that offers a stunning night view, especially as the evening sets in. The vibrant neon lights become incredibly flashy and shiny, creating a fancy atmosphere. It’s a great place to enjoy the evening, with plenty of activities and shopping options available. You can soak in the lively ambiance and enjoy this experience all the way up to midnight, making it a perfect spot for night owls and those looking to have a memorable night out.

Premiere destination for shopping, food, entertainment and more. We stayed within walking distance on Orchard road. Visited the boutiques and eateries countless of times. 5 Star amenities made it easier with a young child and my older parents, etc.

ION Orchard in Singapore is a premier shopping destination that offers a luxurious experience. Spread over eight levels, it features over 300 retail, dining, and lifestyle stores, including flagship stores of renowned brands1. The mall’s modern architecture and design create a visually stunning environment. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of dining options, from local favorites to international cuisines. The mall also hosts art exhibitions and events, adding to its vibrant atmosphere. Whether you’re shopping for high-end fashion or simply exploring, ION Orchard provides an unforgettable experience in the heart of Singapore.

Nice big mall were you can find most things. High end fashion, trendy clothes, shoes, restaurants, food court, pedi & mani and much more. Brands like Sephora, COS, Adidas, Benjamin Barker, Zara, &Other stories together with Dior, Celine, Hugo, Gucci and so many others. It’s a nice mix. But if you need a supermarket they only have a small shop to buy the most basic.

Luxury shopping mall with all branded stores. Amazing views from Ion Sky 55 stories above looking at Singapore skyline. And the 1 Atico restaurant/pub at the top is simply amazing.

Google
Iron Orchard shopping center is very famous with many famous brands in the world, spacious and clean, but the place is very crowded with tourists.

Yelp
Fahncy. You know you're in a posh center when every designer brand store is located here. And the art work in the middle of the gallery is worth $200,000 US so have armed guards patrolling it. Fun to window shop and especially downstairs where there were lots of beautiful restaurants that really stirred my hunger pangs. Lovely lay out and easy access to public transportation.

Scarlett H.

Yelp
Beautiful mall conveniently located at an MRT station. Huge place with multiple levels and many designer brands. Several snacks and eateries such as Lady M and TWG Teas located inside this mall. Great for windowing shopping and if you're lucky you may find some bargains when the high end stores put on a sale.

Chloe T.

Yelp
Absolutely love this mall. It is very posh and has almost any designer store you can think of! There are a wide range of store suitable for various budgets. The location is great with easy access to public transportation on a lower basement level. The employees were helpful and courteous. It's a beautiful place to visit!

Yelp
This is the perfect type of shopping mall with everything all in one place. They had luxury brands, medium priced stores, super cheap shops, a food court, refined dining, and most importantly an observatory! Most of the more affordable stores are on the lower levels aka basement. Was excited to check out pull and bear since New York doesn't have that! Bought a bunch of cheap tissue packets at guardian LOL. Also visited Daiso but it was way too hot in there. It was impossible to shop with the heat so left pretty fast. But most products were only $2! Very happy they have a BAKE cheese tart there! Unfortunately the cheese tarts were cold when they're meant to be served warm. The elevators take forever to come and are often crowded so the trick is to get on at the lowest floor. We went to the info center right next to the elevators on the fourth floor to see if we can go to IOn Sky (51st floor) for the observatory. Turns out we need to purchase at least $20 of stuff inside the mall to get one admission ticket. We were a few bucks short of $40 so we bought a drink and candy at Daiso. Then we picked the 7 pm time slot to go up. It was the perfect timing cause we got to see the sunset over Singapore! Afterwards, we grabbed dinner at the food court. Got some noodles but Idr which stall. It was only okay. Should've done some yelping beforehand lol

Yelp
With more than 600,000 square feet and 8 floors of shopping, Ion Orchard houses many high end designer stores but also the low budget $2 Daiso store. Saying this mall is huge is kind of an understatement. Sometimes I find myself wandering or lost on one of those floors. My favorite dim sum restaurant Taste Paradise is located on the 4th floor at Ion Orchard. My other favorite places to dine are: Ginza Bairin (on level B4) for lunch, TWG (on level 2 across from Tiffany & Co) for tea and Toast Box (on level B4) for breakfast. I find myself often exit out of the MRT (Subway) on Ion side even if I plan to head over to Ngee Ann City side! I did not mind to walk a few steps more and cut through Ion Orchard. Not sure why, could that be because Ion Orchard has a unique scent lingering throughout the mall, specially created to provide shoppers a multi sensory shopping experience? Their free wi-fi is the best among all the malls I have been in Singapore. Bathrooms are the cleanest among all malls here too. Taxi stand is outside the entrance/exit next to Harry Winston. Mall staff even opened the door when the cab arrived, nice! :)

S C.

Yelp
Great service. Excellent and very, very helpful staff. Very patient and helpful. Manager Dean is a top notch professional. Very happy to shop there.

Ry T.

Yelp
I enjoyed walking around this high end shopping center. I mean high end. Most all those designer ads you see in fashion magazines, their stores are here. Lots of bling bling and as one Go Grab driver, who works as a financial analyst in the AMs and drives part time says, he has a friend who's a billionaire and with so much money to 'live the life' and own fancy cars, they buy expensive watches next. Upper levels which connect to the street level are all high end shopping with a few costlier restaurants and high tea dining. Subterranean levels are where regular people shop and eat. The food court has a great selection of Asian choices. The youngsters on a weekend queue up for the milk tea with what I call choke balls on the bottom. I like window shopping at the Harry Winston, Cartier, Tiffany stores. The exquisite designs of certain pieces always amazes me. Makes you feel like Audrey Hepburn peeking in. You don't have to dress fancy to shop in these stores. Saw quite a few people in shorts in the stores looking at Rolex, Omega and other European watches. I especially admired the emerald rings in the windows like what Michelle Yeoh wore from her personal collection in the Crazy Rich Asians movie. Hubby was just happy he found no show socks at the Japanese chain Muji store for less than what UNIQLO charges. The rest of us subterranean worker ants will have to keep lumbering on.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Gorgeous mall. Clean, modern, gleaming! High end stores with all the latest fashions and trends

Yelp
I'm lucky enough to be ringing in 2019 in Singapore and spent the last day of 2018 here in order to allow my wife and daughter to get a glimpse of high end shopping in Singapore. In fairness, I will say that I absolutely detest shopping and was paying for the sweet release of death about 30 minutes into our visit here. However, I am trying to judge it from the perspective of someone that loves to shop and for that, it is a veritable dream. The underground MRT has a station in the basement. How much more convenient is that? As soon as you alight from the train you are impressed by the sheer volume of people within this multistory complex all looking to spend money and this place has the high end shops that would drain your wallet in a matter of seconds. It is pretty amazing. As you walk around the place, you see some absolutely ridiculous products on sale. 4 digit figures for a pair of women's shoes or a handbag makes me wonder if they are made out of an endangered species. And who in the world can afford this stuff? For people that are serious shopping enthusiasts, taking them here to gaze at this stuff is like taking an alcoholic into a brewery. They will be sorely tempted and the outcome cannot be guaranteed. Given all of that, I rate it highly because it does deliver a top tier shopping experience. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for and the same is true here. If you are willing to pay the prices here, you will find top-end merchandise to purchase in a spotless, modern facility with some great people-watching. Even the dining options (and there are many, including food court style eateries) elevate the standard Singaporean street food experience into an air-conditioned, indoor affair with commensurate elevated pricing as well. Overall, this place does provide some great shopping and a cool experience. You may have to put up your first born as collateral to buy anything here but you can then bask in the glory of knowing that you single-handedly kept the Singapore economy going in the right direction.

Hui L.

Yelp
You can just walk from one end to the other (or am I confusing it with another mall...Singapore is a country of shopping malls). Luckily I came by when Clarins was having an event so I got some skincare freebies and free gelato too! Yayy. I think there's also a LoHi tea here. Man is this store popular! I had to wait almost half an hour for my drink! First time I've ever had to wait that long for a drink.

Sudipto G.

Yelp
The swankiest mall on orchard. You have your pick of all the top end brands. Good connectivity to mrt as well. The lowerfloors have a good selection of the more affordable labels too.

Wendy T.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this mall for two things; the giant food court, and the free food tour/sky tower tour for foreigners! If you go to the guest service desk, you can sign up for this tour with a tour guide. All you need is your passport. We got lucky, and were the only ones that signed up for that day. So it's like my group got our own personal tour guide/tour. It was awesome! I wish I could remember our tour guides name. He was awesome! He took us to famous shops and cafes in the mall. We got to try samples of the famous Singaporean Kaya Toast (so delish!) with some brewed coffee, sweets from a bakery, and teas from a specialty herb tea store. We took a tour outside where he explained to us the history of the art sculptures outside. He helped us take pictures with these sculptures. It was fun! Onto the sky tower! The place was empty, and we were free to roam everywhere. We filmed, we photographed, we looked down onto the rainy city - where we towered over sky scrapers. It was so much fun. And all for free? I'm all in. Perfect way to kill time, for free, indoors. Highly recommend this mall!

Yelp
I have heard of Rabeanco a few years ago when a few of my friends bought several of the bags in Hong Kong (before it opened in Singapore). I did not step into the store until recently when I went in to do a price comparison check with the pricing I saw in KL store. The bags were nicely displayed, hanging from rods and shelves. The many colors available are eye-catching. The bags are made of Italian leather (cow leather) and are soft and supple to the touch which is nice. Some designs are reminiscent of what you may see from other designers but at least they are not pure copy. It is definitely a good place to suss out a good leather bag for everyday use as the pricing is quite decent. From $200+ to $600+, it is not too bad since the prices of pleather bags from the mass market brands are slowly creeping towards the $100 mark. And the bags from departmental stores are also in the $200-$500 range now. As for the sales staff and service, they are polite and helpful. They will show you how the bags work and very willing to bring out the bags in different colors from the storeroom. Knowledge wise, they could be better in knowing more about their brand and company and history and background. ***For those curious about the pricing in the region, the price is higher in KL than in SG. But HK pricing is lower than in SG.***

Lily F.

Yelp
Yes, there's an H&M here but that and a couple of others were about the only stores that really interested me. The other stores were incredibly high priced to the point where I didn't feel comfortable walking in to even look at the merchandise. I was afraid the workers might smell how much I make annually and shun me. There were a lot of makeup, perfume, and lotion/skin care stores too. The reason why this gets a high rating is because the food court downstairs is insane. I actually made an extra trip and fought the MRT people traffic just to come eat here for a late lunch. The variety is incredible and the prices are decent. You pay a little more but it's the perfect place to try a little bit of everything in a nice air conditioned, clean environment.

Markus W.

Yelp
I kind of like ION because of the great variety of quality stores and also the look of the mall. What I do not like, however, is the fact that's rather difficult to find anything there (the store numbers are not always consecutive and we did not find a 'navigation display'). Even the way the escalators were placed makes little sense and can be quite annoying when one is looking for a specific store. So, despite the great variety of stores, just 3 stars from me.

Jennifer K.

Yelp
I love to wander around aimlessly.. I love getting lost... Ion Orchard is just perfect for that purpose. Even looking at the directory would not have do me any good as I don't really know what I am looking for anyway. Great to spend a few hours here away from the hot weather and chill out a little: A lot of food options... a little more pricier than hawker centre but just less hassle if you only have a few days in Singapore. So clean and accessible, I will be back!

Mia N.

Yelp
Always love to visit ion orchard for the range of shops and thoughtful seasonal shoes outside their atrium

Vincent V.

Yelp
Wonderfully classy atmosphere and high quality stores - if I don't count the aggressive salesman in a shoe store with a gigantic, lit brand display. Much better imho than the disappointing Takashimaya mall. High end shopping all over should take Ion Orchard as an example in clean lines (design wise) and professional appearance.

Suzanne M.

Yelp
Beautiful, way expensive and shoppes go on for days. What I loved most... the air conditioning and immaculately clean restroom

Connie M.

Yelp
If you want to experience a super mall only found in Asia, then Ion Orchard is your best bet. They have all the high designer brands that a girl could only dream of, all under one roof. It's almost awe inspiring. Even if you're not into shopping, it's cool to check out the architecture!

Daniel H.

Yelp
Get here my any means necessary, within reason of course, but then be ready for shopping euphoria that makes you dizzy, giddy and in awe of the way a clean efficient safe city can look and feel. The Ion Orchard in Singapore is only the tip of the iceberg in a place that's never seen a glacier float by. Tropical and very hot/humid outside, the Ion at Orchard is a welcome loving it home menace of cooled air, escalators that seem to go down further than one might normally vernture. But I say to you again do it, and be rewarded the the biggest and best food court your foodie heart could ever behold.

Michael B.

Yelp
High end shopping mall that offers a little something for everyone. Best not to look at the price of anything because 1) you're in Singapore. So expect to pay more and 2) chances are you'll have a mild heart attack. So don't look. An example was a sweater I found with a Bear wearing pajamas, a tie and holding a martini glass. Seriously where else am I going to find that? Well, the $750 USD price tag says probably just here.

Dee M.

Yelp
I literally got lost in the sauce here! ION spreads to approximately 66,000 Square Meters on Orchard Road; This beauty has over 300 retail outlets. It's a shopaholic's paradise. MRT Orchard or Somerset stations will both get you here. Stores range from very high end to budget friendly. My shopping preference is to find unique pieces specific to that area. Unless you're getting a really good deal, I find no point in purchasing items I can purchase back home in the states. For example, fir the most part, Sephora offers the same products here as in the states. I'd rather shop in stores that offer brands like INNISFREE, CANMAKE, LES MERVEILLEUSES BY LADURE, etc. That said, I had no problem finding clothing, shoes, skincare/beauty items (I shop Japanese/Korean brands) and household items here on sale or at great prices.

Christina N.

Yelp
When Ion Orchard first opened up, I must say that I was very intimidated. All the boutiques of brands everywhere on the first storey and above. It felt like another Paragon to me, and I thought it was a mall that I'd never visit again. However, when I went to Basement 1, that was when everything was more "accessible" to an average spender. Typical brands like Uniqlo, Zara, H&M, etc were all located in the basement. There is also a food court and a food fair area with many small stalls selling finger food (eg. Old Chang Kee, gelato, etc). There are also some restaurants in Ion, such as Paradise Dynasty, Taste Paradise and Salt grill & Sky bar on the top floor. Convenient via MRT (located the moment you walk out of Orchard MRT). Parking at ion is also fairly affordable after 5pm and on weekends since it is a flat rate, probably because it is located just outside the city. Protip: cab line here is always long, but if you're willing to walk a couple of steps, the cab line at Wisma is much shorter! :)

Thales C.

Yelp
Great place to visit!!! A very nice and upscale mall. I recommend it. One of My favorite place in Singapore.

Christine S.

Yelp
Even if you don't consider yourself a shopper, this is worth a visit. It has something for everyone- high end luxury like prada and affordable brands like h&m. If you can think of a major brand, it's most likely here! And the food court offers great variety at great prices. And I have to mention the restrooms/WC. They are modem, immaculately maintained, and offer private facilities for individuals, families, and small children.

Nyssa Kristine B.

Yelp
ION Orchard is one of many shopping spots you can visit along Orchard Road. It's unique design is definitely an eye catcher and sometimes a head turner. To fully appreciate the mall, start from the outside in. I usually frequent the mall's food court mainly because of the design. But when it comes to the layout, it's pretty much confusing that I sometimes opt to buy meals from the stalls near and entrance way when crowded. Same thing goes to the mall itself. Yes, it does have that luxurious appeal that attracts locals and foreigners alike. It also house majority of the international brands. But seriously, it is really confusing. I usually move at a glacier pace whenever I'm here just so I wouldn't miss a turn or an escalator. But, kudos to the customer service people for being so patient in directing us to the right way. With practice and armed with a sense of shopping adventure, I think I would be able to manneuver this mall. But for now, it's just plain confusing.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Takashimaya used to be my favourite haunting ground until Ion opened and I was sooo attracted to New Look, Uniqlo, Rubi, Bershka, Topshop, Muji, Tyan.. etc and all the glorious food in the basement. What is there not to love about Ion? Ok maybe for the fact that from levels 1 upwards, its a grim reminder that everything there may be designer goods.. but those are designer goods that probably wipe out one month of my pathetic salary (that is if I only buy a pair of Miu Miu shoes or a Prada wallet). But hey, it's good to window shop up there and dream about it right? Pretty nice way to motivate you to save up for that pair of Melissa X Vivienne Westwood shoes that is only sold at Tyan. So come by here and shop your heart out!

San-Ju T.

Yelp
My Favourite mixed label boutique is here - Tyan and its related shops Vivienne Westwood and Paul Ka at #03-13. There is a food court at B4, plenty of reasonably priced shops at the basement levels. I like Daiso (the $2 shop), Uniqlo, Christian Dior (cosmetics) and Nespresso.

Cindy H.

Yelp
This place is huge! I would definitely check out the directory/store listing before coming here because there are a lot of stores here in Ion Orchard and in the surrounding shopping malls on Orchard Road. The main floors are quite pricey, but head down to the "B" floors and the price point becomes more acceptable to the average shopper. If you need help finding a store, the directory is awesome. Just select the store you want to go to and it will show you exactly how to get there - very cool! Definitely check Ion Orchard and the rest of Orchard Rd out if you find yourself in Singapore!

Michelle M.

Yelp
I'm going to have to say that this is one of my favorite malls in Singapore. With a ton of malls to choose from on the island, what sets this one apart? Where do I begin.... Well, let's start with location, location, location. It's right above the Orchard MRT station. It has a useful underpass that will get you easily to Wisma Atria, Takashimaya, Wheelock Place, Tangs, and Shaw Lido. It has a unique exterior and all the lights are quite pretty at night. It's a big mall, but it's not overwhelming. Unlike VivoCity, which is just sprawling and difficult to navigate, I find the layout here easier to follow and I have a good sense of where everything is. There aren't any nooks and crannies to miss. I complain about crowds, and there's always a crowd here, but I always feel like it's more manageable than the other malls. I rarely think, "OMG there needs to be a new plague." This is also a mall I actually shop in. They have a good range of stores, from affordable to high end. All of the brands that I like are here- Sephora, Top Shop, and Uniqlo, to name a few. Window shopping is great here too, as all the luxury brands are on the ground floor. The dining options are solid. My husband and I are fans of Itacho Sushi (B3), Riverside Indonesian BBQ (Food opera in B4), and Ginza Bairin (B4). Other restaurants I'd like to try one day are Salt (55th floor) and Magosaburou (4th/5th floor). And to top it all off, the bathrooms here are clean and comfortable. If you're doing the pee pee dance on Orchard Road, make your way to Ion and relieve yourself here!

Zoey S.

Yelp
The bags had nice and simple designs and more importantly the leather was very comfy upon touch. The sales lady was very kind and eager to help. My only complain is that their sales and promotion was not clearly listed out, for which I had to ask for details. Wish they list out the on-going promotion for easy shopping arrangement. Overall very happy with the bags I bought.

David S.

Yelp
This is the mall of malls. This is the daddy mac daddy. There are malls all about (have you tried getting off the MRT and *not* stepping into a mall?) and Ion is the pinnacle. It houses all the old favorites (Zara, Muji, etc.) and a fantastic food court. Here's why you should know this mall. The Orchard station is key to everything in Singapore routing. There is a fairly elaborate interchange right at this mall that connects you underground across the street, cat corner, and to other malls. That said, it's very confusing...you will get lost. You will have trouble finding your way through the labyrinth. And if you are like me, you will rescue some older German tourist couple by guiding them to the surface exit.

Marvin S.

Yelp
Man, I've made it global!!!!! Not really, just Yelp made it to Singapore! After all the walking around at ION Orchard looking for a wifi signal to check in here into Yelp, I can finally write a review here. Just a small background, I'm a United States Navy Sailor. Just a small caveat, as I'm not a local, but who really is in Singapore? Singapore is SO diverse and CLEAN, it's pretty awesome! Back to the review. Taking the MRT around Singapore as a tourist, you will find yourself here, if you ever want to get out on Orchard Rd. One of the nicest things about ION is that it seems so vastly well put together with a zillion(that's not a word, I know) stores to walk in and out of. It's probably one of the best window shopping places in Singapore, if not Orchard Rd. This place is upscale as they come, and it blows away lots of Southern California Malls. Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego has been holding it's own here, but from all the ports I've hit in Southeast Asia, ION is one of the nicest! It's packed and by no means is this place a gem, it's more like "HEY OVER HERE, COME INSIDE, PLEASE SPEND ALL OF YOUR MONEY HERE!" If there's anything to take away from my FIRST out of US review, it's the ION Orchard food court! Each time I've come here, I've gotten their Curry Puffs! The largest I've ever seen or had! Very tasty! The last time I was there, they were doing construction, so I could only imagine how nice it will be once it's done! It's easy to see why ION would be your go to place to shop, with all of it's stores and lots of good eats! I'll come back here again the next time I'm in Singapore!

Joey M.

Yelp
When Ion first came out while I was in school - I was here almost 2-3 times a week! Trawling through the clothing racks in the then only two-storey Topman, checking out the food basement for some (pretty) good hawker delights (though I'd rather be at Old Airport Rd/Holland Village for that). And when I got a little more spending power, I migrated to the upper floors, hobnobbing at the Marmalade Pantry, trying on cashmere sweaters at Burberry, shopping for mummy at Miu Miu... and did I mention that it always smells like a bed of roses here?

Sebastian P.

Yelp
Glitzy Glam Super Mall... I think this is what describes ION the best. It's the hottest Icon of Singapore Shopping right now and you should have your credit cards handy and loaded if you go there. There are a few things I like about ION. Basically you can shop ultra high end or on a budget as there are both types of shops. It has it's own connection to the MRT that lands you right at base level or you can use the parking deck and valet the car. Then there is the food. B4 Food Court and the Food Opera... ughh!! Seriously I'm sometimes surprised the escalators don't break down after going back up again. But there are also a few small and larger scale Restaurants spread throughout the building. Just keep your eyes open. One gem is the Singapore Airlines Service Center on the top floor. The SIA hotline annoys the #&^@ outta me so whenever there is a ticket query and I wan't to solve that myself then I visit the nice SIA staff up here. Best service ever! Shopping galore!!

Honey H.

Yelp
This mall is very nice with so many floors for shopping! From luxury, name brands to decently-priced stores and restaurants. I really like the touchscreen directory that they have all around the mall. It's very helpful for when we need to find a store or restaurant, plus it even gives you the direction and maps it out for us. There are so many escalators here, it's quite nice, since we tend to floor hop from one store to the next. My husband and I did not spend too much time shopping, but more of browsing and having sushi at Itacho Sushi for dinner. This mall is quite fancy and in my husband's word, "it's the prettiest mall in Singapore". I do agree it is very pretty.

May T.

Yelp
We needed to cool down in a mall with the baby after a morning out around Chinatown, so we jumped in a cab and asked the driver to take us to Orchard Road. "Where on Orchard?" "A mall, any mall." So, at the suggestion of our trusty driver, we ended up at Ion. He said we'd like it, and sure enough we did. Excellent baby changing and feeding facilities and SUPERB food court (although it is a complete insane asylum during the lunch rush and you'll probably wait 20 minutes for a table to clear).

Isnani I.

Yelp
ION Orchard mall -- I have to confess, even after the many times I came here, I always (Read: Always) get lost. I depend on my much trustworthy friend to lead the way. For the average spender like me, I don't usually do any real shopping here, since I find that the stores are mostly ultra high-end. Most of my time spent here is to window shop. We usually end up going to nearby malls. But yes, location-wise, this place is superb. I would say the most classiest looking mall we have on this island.

Alexander L.

Yelp
I'm still in two minds about this mall. Yes it's humongous and carries some interesting labels, along with most of the usual mega-couture label suspects. Some more unique shops to check out include Penhaligons for men's grooming, Buben & Zorweg for watch winders and the more common but always enthralling Fred Perry in the basement. Despite all this, the place is just too busy for me to enjoy on a regular basis. It's far too difficult to get seats at Starbucks, the Marmalade Pantry is underwhelming, and the passage from Orchard MRT to Paterson Rd is what I imagine the second circle of Hell is probably like. But hey, what's the point of even writing this review. You're going to go here if you haven't already. It's ION for cripes sake.

April G.

Yelp
Wonderful mall with a ton of different shops to go through. There are many high end boutiques as is to be expected downtown but a nice range of more reasonably priced shops are all there too. Clothes, makeup, stationary...this mall has everything! My only complaint is that I consistently get lost here. It is poorly organized and directories are hard to come by. I would consider bringing a map if that weren't so outdated!

Jason H.

Yelp
Crazy mall loaded with anything you have ever wanted. From the norm to the very expensive this place has it all. All I can say about this places it is probably in the best location anymore could ever be in. The architecture of the mall is pretty interesting and the inside of it is just incredible.

Xander C.

Yelp
i'm not a huge fan of malls, generally, but Ion on orchard is awesome. what's not to like? it's a literal breath of fresh air as it has strong AC to overpower the muggy jungle air of singapore. in addition to AC, ion has a great food court. from laksa, to minced pork noodles, to bak kut teh, this place has it all! affordable and tasty dining on orchard? who knew. so if you like AC and you like food courts, Ion is the place to go.

Yelp
I can't say I like the layout of this shopping mall. It's very confusing and easily get lost! Very suitable for hide and seek if you ask me. I got myself lost a few times and it took me another few times to get myself familiarized with the layout - this applies only to the basement shops. Lots of branded stuff in this mall especially from the ground level upwards. Singapore Airline's reservation office is located at the top floor and there are some interesting but expensive restaurants on the top level. For cheaper price of food and shopping? Head to the basement levels instead but frankly speaking nothing catches my attention in terms of value.

Yelp
Cool place to hangout and lots to check out. The fritters outlet is my go-to for a quick snack.

Yelp
Ion is huge. And shiny. And HUGE. I routinely get lost in there until I figured out the wings and the way they laid out the shops - expensive designer stuff and flagship stores on the street levels, and stuff gets progressively cheaper as you descend into the bowels of the mall to B4 where the food court is. The B4 food court collects 'brand names', branches of more famous stalls elsewhere all packed into one place, which is great for the tourists and the lazy like me. If you find it too crowded, there is a warren of smaller takeaway stalls on the level as well, with hidden alcoves of seats between stalls. Also notable is the fact that it connects directly to Wheelock Place, just make sure you head in the rigt direction!

Yelp
Shopper's paradise. Upmarket looking mall and makes some of the others on Orchard Road look decidedly dated. Wide selection of stores and a food court, it's the usual recipe for success in Singapore.

Yelp
At the risk of sounding creepy, the thing I love about this place is how it smells. Word is they paid some company to scent the building, and I have no idea if they've pumped it into the air-conditioning, but it is AMAZING. That aside, there are many things to love about this mall, especially the massive variety of shops - from fashion runway chi-chi, to foodhall staples, you're covered. Add to that the fact that it sits right on top of Orchard Rd MRT? Win. p.s. if you need a snack, grab the peking duck wraps... genius snack food on a budget!

Yelp
Looking at this shining mall now, it's hard to believe that this place was just a field and some trees barely a few years ago. Now, it's one of Singapore's most luxurious malls. There's not much to shop here unless you're after a specific brand. Almost everything at ION caters to the well-padded, but you can find some more generic brands at the basement levels, such as Muji, Rubi, and Havaianas. There are some great restaurants here, especially if you take the lift all the way up to the 55th and 56th floors to pay Luke Mangan and his delicious cuisine a visit. For the mortals, there are also fast food restaurants, a variety of small food stalls, and a rather expensive food court. If anything, ION is definitely worth a visit just to soak in its atmosphere.
