Ionas Boutique Hotel

We stayed at Ionas Boutique Hotel in October and we still talk about this place. Well, it is my kind of hotel. It is not loud, flashy and obnoxious but not forgettable. It is on a quiet street but in just a few steps you'll find all the excitement of the old town-restaurants, shops, the Harbour. We were initially worried that it would get rowdy but it was so quiet and peaceful yet not isolating. Our room on the second floor was lovely, the balcony was romantic. The bathroom was a tad small but we knew what to expect. The breakfast at the courtyard was heaven! It was wonderfully prepared and amazingly served. The staff we met were friendly, warm and helpful. Ionas Boutique Hotel speaks to the heart. Oh, I would love to stay there again! And Chania...I left a piece of my soul there!

This small jewel right in the centre of the old town of Chania, has only 9 rooms, and is run by a lovely and very hospitable family. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and with everything that you need. As its in the hearth of the old town, just narrow lanes and no traffic, so its really quite, which is wonderful.|Breakfast is served in the small garden. Besides bread and different spreads, there is eggs as you want them, and wonderful creamy greek yogurt with a seasonal fruit salad.||On the second floor, there is a lovely roof terrace with plants, decorations and comfortable furniture. ||Iona Boutique hotel is well located, and most places of interest can be reached by foot in easy walking distance.

We had the perfect stay at Ionas Hotel. The location is very central, but still very quiet. The room was beautiful, modern and very clean. We enjoyed the great breakfast at the terrace and want to highlight the awesome service. Everybody in the hotel is very friendly, we felt very welcomed. I can absolutely recommend this place to anybody who wants to spend some days in Chania.

Our stay at Jonas hotel was amazing. We come to Chania every year and this time we have decided to change the accommodation and look for some place that offers breakfast outside. That’s how we discovered this great hotel: amazing hosts, incredible design, attention to details, fresh and decilious breakfast and the location is just perfect (and quiet at night too, despite how central it is). I would 100% recommend this place and we will return next year.

Beautiful hotel located in the perfect spot within Chania. Definitely stay here on your trip. Staff were friendly and breakfast is delicious. Right next to a busy street but tucked away so that it is quiet and cozy. I would stay here again.

Beautiful Venetian building in the Old Town, very quiet and private. Excellent breakfast with local products. The owners offered amazing hospitality and great tips, making us feel like locals, not tourists.

It's my second time in Chaniá, and I decided to come to the same hotel! This is how amazing hosts Sofianne and her family are. Besides a great location and super comfortable utilities, the warmth of this place is simply next level.

Fantastic stay at Ionas Boutique Hotel! The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. The service was exceptional — the staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway! Would surely return to this same place.
