Ionia Hotel Skopelos

Just back from a 2 week stay at the Ionia hotel. Well located, 5 minutes walk in to the harbour area. Very clean room, pool area and common areas. The staff are very friendly and hard working to ensure your time there is enjoyable. The food served at the pool area is well priced. I can thoroughly recommend the Skopelos cheese pies served there - they were absolutely delicious. |Bathroom a bit on the small side but not really a problem. Bed comfortable and towels and bedding changed regularly. Good sized balcony. All in all a lovely stay at the Ionia.

We stayed in this lovely Traditional Greek Hotel just got back a week ago.|We stayed in Skopelos Town last year also thought we wouldn't get as nice hotel but we did.|The hotel is in a residential area in town quiet in evenings. Can I thank you for the room that we were given ground floor with terrace over looking pool in our view probably one of the best rooms in the hotel, the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in over 30 years of visiting The Greek islands. The sunbeds were really comfortable and the pool was lovely breakfast was good too.|A big Thank you to all the staff We don't remember all their names other than George on reception. 5* Customer Service from you all. To the owner of the Ionia Hotel your staff are a credit to you and your Hotel. We hope to return in the future. Great memories of a lovely holiday.

A wonderfully proper Greek hotel, spotlessly clean with a lovely pool and bar area. Really comfy sun beds and plenty of chairs along with the friendly team made this a great holiday.|Within a few minutes walk of the towns shops and restaurants and an easy walk down to the sea front the location has been perfect.

Such a charming hotel, right in the heart of Skopelos town but just one street away from the busy centre, so it’s nice and peaceful. The pool area is gorgeous, with a bar under a big shady tree, and the room terraces open straight onto the pool. Breakfast was better than expected. Big thanks to Ioana, who was absolutely lovely and helped us extend our stay because we just didn’t want to leave, we loved both the hotel and the island so much!

Lovely hotel with clean rooms close to Skopelos harbour town. The walk to the harbour town/main restaurant area is literally about 3 minutes from the hotel, so very accessible. Rooms are small but clean, and the pool area is quiet with a bar and sunbeds. Breakfast is also very good. Staff are helpful and laid back, overall the hotel has a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend and would stay again!

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel for a number of reasons. |Disappointingly for Greece, the breakfast staff were downright unfriendly with not one smile to be seen. The breakfast buffet was the worst I can recall anywhere in Greece. Our bedroom and bathroom were very cramped indeed and very dated indeed. |The swimming pool was pleasant, but that is about all I can think of that is positive. |.

Amazing hotel, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again! Everything kept so clean/tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Poolside area very nice, plenty of beds/seating and shaded areas. Breakfast very good. A short 5 minute walk to port, restaurants and shops. 10/10 from us

This is a beautiful hotel and definitely want to go back,the staff are amazing and nice. The breakfast is lovely and enough choice. The room overlooking the pool was a delight and the room was cleaned every day and fresh towels. If you asked anything of the staff they were happy to help. Reading some of other reviews, I honestly don't know what people want today,obviously some people just like to complain about anything. The hotel was perfect in every way and perfect location. Definitely returning to this hotel.
