The 10 Best All-You-Can-Eat Deals In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Price: $37.95 for adults, $29.95 for seniors, $18.95 for kids under 45 inches, $5 for kids under 30 inches IPOT in the Sunset serves Korean BBQ, but we suggest focusing on the hot pot. Our favorite part about coming here—aside from the comprehensive sauce bar and multi-floor dining room—is the side of chewy biang biang noodles, which arrive dangling on a mini clothesline." - julia chen 1, patrick wong

IPOT Review - Sunset - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"If you simply can’t decide between grilled or boiled meats, get both at IPOT. This large group-friendly AYCE place in the Sunset has tables outfitted with grills and tubs of boiling broth. For about $38, choose two flavors from over a dozen different options and order a never ending supply of thinly sliced meats, marinated proteins, and noodles (the biang biang noodles hanging on a mini clothes line are a must). One thing to note is that IPOT limits you to ordering from their QR menu once every 15 minutes, so there is some strategy involved. If you miscalculated and get a little peckish, or need an activity to fill the time, cruise to the sauce bar and play mad scientist or turn around and get a few small bowls of complementary veggies, fruit, and Jell-O. If you’re not the sharing type, IPOT also has individual pots for parties of four or less." - Patrick Wong

The restaurant offers both hot pot and BBQ, the perfect combo of two types of deliciousness. It’s especially great for people like me who always want a bit of BBQ at a hot pot place, or a sip of hot soup at a BBQ spot—haha! We ordered a yin-yang (half & half) hot pot. The ingredients were super fresh, and there were plenty of meat options! For the BBQ, you grill it yourself right at the table, which makes it perfect for group hangouts—grilling, chatting, and enjoying the vibe all at once!

Google
Fantastic buffet! Best hotpot and kbbq ever! Very nice meat quality! Mostly marinated well, juicy and tender! Love the bbq beef. And highly recommend the sliced lamb for the hotpot! Lots of options for veggies and snacks to choose. Love the seasoning bar, fresh with lots of different ingredients! Highly recommend to try!

Google
Such a fun dining experience! You get the best of both worlds - KBBQ and HOT POT! My bf ordered the cilantro fish soup and it was so delicious! I ordered the sichuan spicy soup and it was a bit too spicy/oily for me (my fault!). I loved the sauce bar, the brisket and all of the veggies! This was my perfect dinner 🍽️

Google
Food is great. The waiters are great, especially compared to other Asian restaurants. Lots of choices. Inexpensive for all you can eat. Long wait for the weekends and sometimes during the week also. Update 2024/12 The food quality seems to have improved from before and it's now very good among the Chinese hot pot places. However, it is a little strange there is a time limit that you can only order every 15 minutes and each time there is a limit of the number of items. They should just charge you if you waste food instead.

Google
Decent hot pot, and tables have Korean BBQ grills as well, which is unusual. Reasonably priced, ~$35 per person for all you can eat, and a very wide variety of both meat and veg. Interior is spacious and unfussy. When busy it gets loud enough that it's hard to hold a conversation. Unfortunately the last time I was here the card readers were down, and they were understaffed for the Saturday night dinner rush, resulting in extremely slow service. However, when the check came, the manager discounted our meal unprompted (as well as two nearby tables that had been similarly underserved), which was extremely decent of him and very much appreciated. I plan to visit here again when it's less busy, maybe lunchtime or a midweek dinner.

IPOT is such a cute restaurant. Loved their variety of options in their menu. The soups were amazing and the chicken, spam, ramen were phenomenal. Loved the lamb skewers food and the fried chicken. You have a time limit for all you can eat and we also got a holiday season discount of $13. One of the better hot spots places in this neighborhood!

Google
There are no bowls! I’ve never been to a hot pot restaurant that didn’t give you a bowl to eat from. Surely they don’t expect you to eat straight from the pot? This one thing majorly threw me off. Also they have a ton of sauces in bottles with no labels, I assumed one was hoisin and it was definitely oyster sauce. I asked for hoisin but she had no idea what I was referring to. Aside from the that - the meat, veggies, broth, all fresh, tasty and plentiful.

Google
I don't want to be overly judgemental on this place, but there is much that could be done to help make it a little more... The seats are not the right type for the round tables. It is very awkward and makes you have to stand when cooking anything. Fresh meats, vegetables, noodles, and seafood. The ice cream cups make it seem like a cheap buffet. Great pricing for the ton of food you get! You will leave with a happy belly and money still in your wallet.

Yelp
Delicious spot - we had a large group and were able to get multiple tables next to each other, and ordered a bunch of different things (what seemed like everything on the menu). The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. There would be some things I wouldn't order again, but I think that speaks more to me than the quality of the food! Overall definitely recommended!

Yelp
We came around 6pm on a Saturday and it was decently busy, but they were able to seat us right away. Ordering is easy with the QR code and multiple people can add to one cart at the same time. We chose to do individual hot pots and the shared grill in the middle. I love that you have the option to do both at the same time and with 2 different broths. Their sauce station had all the things you would want and they had a few sides/fruits as well. I highly recommend the biang biang hand pulled noodles. They were so delicious that I got a second order. As for meats, the cow belly and pork belly were our favorites. It's nice that they include salt and pepper shakers to season the meat for the grill. Overall, service was quick and servers were kind. We had a nice dinner!

Yelp
This was my first time (and last time) here and there are a number of reasons why: Service: -Right off the bat after being sat, no one explained anything about how to order aside from using the qr code to start ordering. We asked several times but got really short answers that took us maybe 5% of the way through the ordering process. We ended up figuring it out but it took 10 min and that sucked. -After we placed our order, no one checked to see how we were doing through entire meal without me having to waive my hands at the servers. It was to the point where i had to get up just to ask for napkins. -Items on our order weren't brought to our table after ordering. We tried twice to flag down the server so we eventually just gave up and canceled the order. He did feel bad after he realized and brought us a few sodas, but what we really wanted was the saki we ordered. Food: -There some weird black stuff floating in my water and if that wasnt enough, there was hair in my food. -I ordered the house spicy broth and i get that its supposed to be spicy but I found it to be completely abnormal for there to be a half inch of chili oil and what looked like half a jar of chili crisp at the bottom of the soup pot. i eat really spicy food regularly but this was just gross. Once i got past the lake of oil, the broth was sub par at best. -Quality of the meat was just average and the sauces were just whatever also. Ambiance: -Everything the restaurant looked gross. There was food and dirt all over the booth we were sat at. The sauce bar looked like pretty unsanitary as well. Dirty plates were just hanging out at the front of the restaurant which was nasty - half eaten chunks of meat and soup bowls just a few feet from jugs of pre filled water jugs. -Staff was actively cleaning the floors while were still eating with heavy chemicals that smelled really strong. -Bathrooms were nasty as well. These are the just the things we observed and so we can only imagine what we didn't actually see. We were full but couldn't even figure out on what because not one bite of anything was memorable. I would not recommend eating here at all. We literally wasted about a hundred bucks here for two people.

Yelp
We (party of 2) came for a Wednesday dinner and the restaurant was pretty empty. You can choose small individual pots or big pots to share, and the grill is shared for the table. There is a variety of meat selection. My personal favorite was the Angus beef. For vegetables, I loved the sugar pea sprouts and winter melon. The biang biang noodles were thick and chewy. Overall, a pretty standard AYCE hot pot and bbq place!

Yelp
We come back here very often because the service is quick, I love their mobile ordering system; and the hot pot options are great. Always yummy, will always be back

Yelp
The food was actually very good. And it came out very quick. For bone broth was very good. I don't have anything really bad to say about the food. It was all tasty. My favorite was the shrimp paste balls. However, when we first walked in, we received a big round table, which actually looked good, but was not very conducive to a good hot pot experience. It was a little cramped and it was hard for some people to reach the hot pot. Plus they never shut the front door, which made things very breezy and Chilly. Last thing, there was a but noticeable odor of maybe an old rag that have been used to wipe our table. It was an unpleasant smell to start our meal. Three stars because we had a pretty good dining experience, but the overall ambience this place could improve.

Yelp
Seriously, this place is so good. Ayce kbbq and hotpot is seriously an amazing deal. They have so many side dishes with home made noodle and this has been my favorite hotpot place. I have been so obsessed with this place and been going almost every day! When nobody can keep up with my obsession i dine in alone and they are always friendly. Ice cream at the end is also super nice! Highly recommend. Never had to wait in line except for a weekend peak time.

Yelp
Came to IPOT for the first time and had a decent dinner, but there was definitely room for improvement. We came in on a Monday night so we were seated without any wait, though there were a decent amount of people in the restaurant. First the good - tofu and preserved egg broth, sauce bar, homemade shrimp paste, biang biang noodles, fresh veggies, and good online ordering system. While all the food was fresh and good quality, it was the service that was a bit lacking. We got one order of the brisket to start, and the amount they gave us was insanely large. There was so much meat that we weren't able to sample other types of meat because of the sheer quantity on the plate. I asked our waitress if that was one order and she said yes, but looking at other tables they got much more reasonable amounts of meat. I wouldn't have been so annoyed if the brisket was good, but it was far too lean to be good hotpot meat. Only when my mom asked the waiter for a single person order of their fatty beef did we get to try a different cut without incurring a $20 charge for wasting food. They also kept missing parts of our order every round, so we had to keep flagging them down to bring the rest of our order out. Even with these missteps, the waitress and waiters were friendly and quick to correct the mistakes. This one experience I would give a 3.5, but I can see the potential of this place.

Yelp
I always enjoy iPot when visiting the Bay Area. We arrived on a Friday evening. It was crowded, but the wait was short. Food comes out quickly, and the sauce bar is a great touch for customizing flavors. I appreciate the individual pots and the wide selection of meats and other options to cook. Despite being busy, the staff manages tables efficiently. The space is large enough to handle a lot of guests. Overall, a solid hot pot spot!

Yelp
My second time here and won't be my last. It's great to know that they do Korean BBQ now and that they follow the trend of advancement. Staff were doing the best they could to give efficient and effective service. Food will always be worth the price. It's a casual and comfortable ambiance. Bathroom is clean, sauces and sides section's cleanliness are consistently maintained. I'm glad that they survive through pandemic and they're still thriving. It's their 10 years anniversary, congratulations! P.s. I don't like robots bringing me my food. I'm glad they don't have it anymore. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Came in a huge group for their AYCE hot pot and bbq! We ordered on the QR code and liked the variety but the quality of the meats were just ok. A lot of the things we ordered never came but we had enough food. The bulgogi was our favorite but not sure if we'd get the other meats. The hand pulled noodles were amazing. They also have these fried buns with condensed milk that were the best dessert!
google avatar

Yelp
Let me start off by saying that the restaurant is pretty big with 2 levels of sitting so the wait for a table even for a big group is never too bad. The pricing for dinner on a weekend per person is close to $40 but you do get both hot pot and Korean bbq at no extra charge compared to other places with a similar style restaurant. Service can be slow specially on weekends because there's an uneven ratio of tables and waiters but if are able to catch someone's attention they are able to help you right away. Meat quality can be a hit or miss but for the most part everything tastes fresh, the broths are anything to go crazy about so you have to rely more on the sauces which is fine because they have a section for you to help yourself. Their wide potato noodles are AMZING!!! A must try for sure. We were very full and satisfied with our meal and didn't encounter too many issues with service of items being forgotten. I wouldn't come all the time compared to other hot pot places in the city but if I'm craving some decent hot pot and I'm in the area I will definitely come here. Watch out for parking, it is very limited so you might spend a good chunk of time doing that.

Yelp
This was my second time at IPOT and it did not disappoint! Open late till 11pm, they offer AYCE hot pot and KBBQ for around $37.99 per person. You order through a QR code on the table. There's a 15 item limit for each order and a 15 minute wait time between each order. Staff are super kind and attentive. I highly recommend the Tom Yum soup base. Even though there's a pretty comprehensive sauce station (though I could not find sesame oil), you don't even need the sauces when your food is cooked with the flavourful Tom Yum soup! The dan dan noodles are also super chewy and yummy. They also offer a variety of cooked foods (dumplings, chicken wings, onion pancakes, etc.). Would definitely come back for a third visit!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite hot pot places in SF! You pay for all you can eat hot pot but can also do Korean BBQ for no additional cost! My friends and I arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. We were hoping to each have individual pots; however, as we were a party of 5, we discovered that the limit for individual pots is 4 people. Ordering through the phone was fast and convenient, but it's important to note that you can only order 15 items at a time every 15 minutes. The dishes arrived quickly, and the servers were all very attentive. I particularly enjoyed the sauce station, which allowed us to create unlimited sauces tailored to our preferred flavor profiles. Parking isn't terrible but I would recommend giving yourself some time to circle around to look for a spot.
google avatar

Jecy L.

Yelp
Ayce hotpot and kbbq for $42 was so worth it. We got to order 15 items every 15 mins so our table and stomach were never empty. Lots of meat and seafood to choose from. We ordered and tried every type of meat on the menu. My favorite side was biang biang noodles so we ordered 4 of them. I was extremely full after this meal.
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
Ipot has a wide range of item selection including more uncommon items such as pig intestines and pork blood. Their wagyu meat is decent for the AYCE price. Ipot does not charge extra to have both grill and hotpot, but they do charge for drinks. This is not a quiet high end restaurant, but more quick and fast for hotpot craving. Service has gotten a bit worse, as the servers don't really check in on tables anymore and don't change the grills unless asked. Portion sizes are also random, so it is difficult to gauge how much to order.

Yelp
Arrived as the first customers at opening with my sister and her friend. Inside of the restaurant has two floors but only the first floor is accessible to the public. It's an all you can eat (AYCE) hotpot AND bbq place. We got a chafing pot with miso and Tom yum broths. Mannnnn. That Tom yum broth is the one. She is so sour and tasty. My mouth was watering on every sip of her. The miso was a bit bland, so our table added some garlic and it made a huge difference. The meat!!! Was so delicious. Our table ordered the American wagyu, beef brisket, and New Zealand lamb. All were amazing. My mouth was watering when I smelled the meat cooking in the broth or on the grill. Also, there are SOOO many choices in terms of toppings and sides! Seafood, rice/noodles, dumplings, veggies, snacks, desserts... you would need multiple visits to try everything! Plus, dessert at the end! We got a yummy matcha ice cream. Cherry on top was that the service was awesome. Grill was changed regularly, broth and water were refilled promptly. We were not rushed to leave after 1.5 hours passed and were asked if we wanted to order anything else close to when our time was almost over. Also, they automatically gave us a discount of 12% off! (My sister says there was a promo code online, but none of us said anything about it during the meal!). I love you IPOT!! Definitely the best experience I've ever had at a hotpot/bbq place. Regret not taking any videos or photos. So so so so delicious and I highly recommend!!!
google avatar

Trevis M.

Yelp
Attention AYCE hotpot! The area was large and it was interesting ordering off a tablet up to 15 dishes at a time. I really liked that and the service was fast! There was also a sauce bar and other food items laid out at the back of the restaurant. The restaurant in my opinion could be cleaner, dusting, wiping and taking care of the vents above the tables as well as open area. Regardless the food was delicious and we definitely ate a lot. The current deal they have for their anniversary is hard to beat in SF so I'm sure we'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
This is hands-down my favorite Hot Pot place in SF, and I've tried a good few. I had the coconut pork bone broth, and WOW, it was so incredibly rich, savory, and tasty. Of all the Hot Pot places I've been to not just in SF but also LA, that broth was definitely one of the most memorable. Highly recommend if you're not looking for anything spicy or sour. We tried any and all meats, and all of them were very lean and nicely marbled, and once cooked very juicy and tender. They also have an excellent variety of appetizers, seafoods, sides, and sauces to choose from as well, which only further complemented the experience. Every time we placed an order, it was brought out to us very quickly, which we really appreciated. The place itself is nothing special, but if you're coming for a nice, casual, and FAIRLY-PRICED AYCE Hot Pot experience, then this is the place for you!
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
One of my favorite AYCE hot pot places in SF. This place is always lively and bustling when I go and occasionally they have a robot server walking around. If you come during dinner on a Friday/Sat prepare for a rather long wait. My favorite aspect is that there is both hot pot and bbq for one price so you won't need to worry about choose which option. When you are seated, they usually ask you if you want split pot or own pot, which is a nice option to have for different preferred eating styles. They also have a variety of broths to choose from so there will be a flavor you'd enjoy. The portion sizes each time are pretty good and they have a 15 min timeline before you can reorder more food. There are a lot of sauce options at the sauce bar so you can definitely play around with different flavors. Additionally, they also provide a complimentary ice cream scoop after the meal, which the flavors are strawberry, mango and green tea.
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
Love all the options here - you can grill and/or have hot pot. Meat portions are generous. I like that they have hand pulled noodles. They can get pretty busy, but they have a yelp waitlist. They have a good variety of menu items to order and also a good sauce bar.

T L.

Yelp
The food is very bad, not fresh at all. After a few hours eating there, I started vomiting and had to go ER. Very bad experience. If you don't want to get sick please don't go there!!!!!!!!!! Regretted.
google avatar

Jerry X.

Yelp
All you can eat hotpot AND kbbq all in one place and for a reasonable price (just a couple bucks more than the nearby KBBQ only spot!)?? Sign me up! Honestly, we were scrambling to find a place to host a get together with friends and we're excited to find IPot as an option. It's an AYCE option with the only limitation being a max of 15 items ordered/table every 15 minutes (totally reasonable so as not to swamp the staff). Everyone in the party had their fill of food, and then some, and the vibes were immaculate. I would definitely come back in the future, especially if I'm looking to host a large get together. Great service at an excellent price point!
google avatar

Janice A.

Yelp
$37.95 per person. One thing I could not find anywhere on yelp was the recent dinner price. Saw that I got a 12% discount and not sure why but super thankful to the team for it. Less smokey/smelly dining in here unlike other kbbq grill type of places.
google avatar

Yelp
IPOT is a very fun vibe and IMO better for a group of people rather than a date night but still fun for just me and my wife. Restaurant is buzzing around dinner hours which contributed to that fun, chaotic feeling that fuels your creativity as you make your own food and live the hot pot experience. Service is great as they are not one of those skimpy all-you-can-eat places that tries to hold you back or slow you down (there is a fee for ordering a significant amount of food and not eating any). The food is truthfully just okay, but I was not expecting a delicacy from an all-you-can-eat. The nice thing about this place is there are, what feels like, unlimited options (meats, noodles, veggies, sauces, drinks, etc.). Would come back for a fun night out with friends but not necessarily for a date night. Also a little pricy, but all all-you-can-eats are. Be sure to come on an empty stomach!

Yelp
BRUH BE FOR REAL. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars ... I would. This is my favorite restaurant of all time. I've been here countless time and this place holds a special place in my heart for all those cold foggy nights in the Inner Sunset. They offer AYCE Korean bbq AND Hotpot for a special value of $32.99. That's a steal! Order from a QR code. 6+ soup base to choose from. Variety of meat, veggies, seafood, noodles, tofu, and dim sum to chose from. Unlimited sauce from sauce bar. Always free ice cream at the end.
google avatar

Yelp
Many options. Sometimes the broth is great and sometimes it is ok. They are generous with the meat portions. Comfortable place for hot pot.
google avatar

Christie S.

Yelp
Came here as a group of 3 on a Sunday for dinner. Apparently they don't use their yelp waitlist anymore so don't trust the wait time on there! We put our names down after arriving and waited around 15min to get seated. All the ordering was done by phone with a QR code. They limited the ordering to 15 items every time. There were quite a lot of food options and bbq was also already included with the price. Hotpot was good but I would not recommend getting anything for the bbq as the meats were not marinated (at least the one that we got) and it just didn't taste good. Everything was also sticking to the grill and they didn't give us any oil to grease the grill. Overall, pretty good experience. Although the bbq was not good, we enjoyed the hotpot portion. We also somehow got 12% off the bill at the end and the total came out to be around $125 for 3 people, which is not bad for AYCE.

Yelp
IPOT IS THE LOML Sunset has soooo many delicious eats to offer and ipot is no exception. It's seen me through thick and thin and basically held me together throughout college. It stays open fairly late, so it's a great spot to hit when my friends and I are starving after a day of exploring the city :) ayce service lets the table order 15 items every 15 minutes, you can choose between individual pots or a large dual pot, there's a grill in the middle, and the sauce station is perfection. Personally, I always go for the coconut pork bone broth while my best friends usually order the miso! We always start with a few rounds of meat, and they always bring out a pretty good amount too. They have pretty much anything you'd want for hot pot too. Because we're the princesses of big back nation, we usually go through about 4 rounds of orders together. The staff pays pretty good attention to the tables and will periodically switch out the grills or pour more soup broth into the pots. The vibes are also super comfy! I usually get a little too comfortable and talk about my worst decisions to people when I eat with them here lol. I always have to lay down once I get home because I eat that well every time. Gonna miss ipot so much when I leave sf!!!

Yelp
AYCE KBBQ + HOTPOT HEAVEN. I'm surprised that I'm just now writing this review, I feel like I always come here for the KBBQ Hotpot duo dinner experience. I'd 100% recommend this solid Hotpot KBBQ! AMBIANCE: 4/5. Parking has always been so hard to find, there's plenty of front and street parking but they're typically always packed with a long wait. So unless you go during a slow time or get lucky, expect to park some ways down and walk. When you check in, they ask if you want a full pot or half pot/half grill then you wait to be seated in this open restaurant with plenty of booths and tables for larger parties. Again, this place still gets busy and hence limited parking. SERVICE: 5/5. To order, you scan a QR code for your table and order from there every round. I think there's a 15-minute wait time in between placing orders too. Staff try to be quick in taking the food out to you when it's ready, the only issue I run into every visit is always running out of water and having a difficult time getting water to our table. Other than that, it should be a hassle-free experience. FOOD: 5/5. Being able to have KBBQ plus individual hotpots with a huge variety of meats, seafood, veggies, snacks, and other stuff on their menu is just the best. I'm more of a hotpot person, so I enjoy the thinly sliced meats, quail eggs, shrimp, fried fish balls, and other veggies in my hotpot. There are also good appetizer snacks and KBBQ meats. There's another IPOT in the East Bay, but the SF branch has the best sauce station, especially their ponzu. For dessert, they offer different flavors of ice cream, but I always look forward to eating their Chinese donut with condensed milk. OVERALL: 5/5. I'd say this is the best and my favorite hotpot in the city, so I know I'll always keep coming back. AYCE for both hotpot and KBBQ with a large menu, can't beat that!

Yelp
The perfect spot when you aren't able to decide between hot pot or Korean BBQ. IPOT offers AYCE for both of them together and it is such an amazing experience. They have plenty of seating inside and it's very bright and lively. Service can be a bit slow but it's never too bad (especially to give you time to digest between rounds hahah). You order online here and it makes it SO much more convenient as it is AYCE and you will be continuously ordering. There's so many options for hot pot as well as KBBQ and the best part is that you can mix and match (ie. put the same meat on both the grill and in the broth)! Their appetizers are also pretty good and I love how they offer a dessert menu for after. Definitely a favorite in SF.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
Wow.. if you been to Dolar shop in Seattle, you would love this. It's a cheaper AYCE version. It's amazing! You can do hot pot and Korean bbq if you wanted. I only wanted hot Pot. So many selections of meat and fish balls! For instance, fish ball with roe, fish ball with meat inside, combination, or just regular. There's also shrimp and fish paste! Loved their little appetizers and milk buns! They have a sauce bar and desserts which are all included! Definitely worth your money here. I will definitely come back.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
If you can't decide between kbbq or hotpot, why not both? For $37/person, you can have it all and AYCE. The food was pretty good and service was attentive. The ordering experience on the app is a bit unintuitive but manageable. Highly recommend: Biang biang noodles Pork bone broth Brisket Cow belly Lotus root Wasn't a fan of: Bulgogi (weird style of meat) Crab ragoon Green tea ice cream (I love green tea but this ice cream was non existent in green tea flavor)

Yelp
1/26 Hot pot is the quintessential comfort one pot meal just as dim sum is the obligatory brunch that not only the Chinese but beloved by all cultures near and far. More and more hot pot spots cater to the ultra modern experience and very few still offer a true all you can eat experience. iPot is among the few that does all you can very well. Location: Irving remains a sprawling Chinese community akin to Chinatown but on a smaller scale. You can find Sheng Kee, San Tung, and Kingdom of Dumpling just to name a few all in the same vicinity. The what: you come here for hot pot or when your group can't decide on Italian, tapas or French. None of the aforementioned are AYCE (all you can eat), but that each on its own are worthy contenders. I ultimately wanted hot pot and specifically one where individual pots are an option. Not only did we each get a soup pot, but cook your own barbecue plate is also provided. The how: after being seated, a member of wait staff will provide instructions on how to order. A QR code can be scanned and shared amongst the party and all items in the cart can be edited in real time. There's no cap on how many items can be ordered, but that there is a 15 minute window between each order. The food: we were just simply too excited that none of us remembered to order a soup base and began a journey of a carnivores heaven. I chose the tomato broth, two of my friends went with the bone broth, and the other went with herbal. The soup bases smelled wonderful. There is a sauce and condiment/sides station at the back. I made sure I utilized the sauce station, with my usual go to: a combination of sesame, peanut, and soy sauce as my dip. For added flavor, I loaded some green onions into my tomato broth and waited for it to simmer. There is a plethora of meats to choose from, and we chose wagyu, lamb, pork belly, cow belly, brisket, and tenderloin. Veggies, we opted for enoki, shiitake, Napa cabbage, tofu curd, winter melon, squash, sugar pea sprouts, bok choy and spinach. We also ordered fresh ramen noodles, instant noodles and hand pulled noodles, which pair well with the flavorful broths. Alcoholic beverages aren't included with the AYCE menu but that soju pairs well with hot pot, and we ordered green grape and coconut. The service: several members of wait staff circled our table to clear any finished plates and to fill our pots with additional broth. We were given ice cream at the very end, which was a refreshing treat after a filling meal. Expect to not only leave smelling delicious but also extremely full. One pot meals are simply easy and delicious.

Yelp
Great variety and quality of meats. Service was very quick. Deserts were nice as well - would recommend the fried buns with condensed milk(?). Ice cream was so-so. Wasn't too busy for a Saturday night. Parking was fairly easy. Would come back.

Yelp
Your typical AYCE hot pot place. Decent broths and good ingredients but the sauce selection could be improved. They also have an interesting system where you can only order 15 items every 15 minutes. Definitely can improve on interior cleanliness a bit though, in my opinion it was a bit slippery walking around.

Yelp
Was just here for dinner yesterday as a catch-up dinner with a friend. For those of you that came here looking for the pricing, I've got you--I think they've raised their prices since the last time someone posted a picture of the menu. It's now ~$42/person for dinner (not sure if they have separate lunch pricing), which includes a 15% tip. There's a 90 minute time limit that seems to be enforced pretty strictly, and important to note that you can only add items to your order every 15 minutes, so make sure that you plan out strategically what is in that order because you won't be able to add items until after 15 minutes! My favorite meats were the Angus Beef and Beef Belly. I tried the lamb (a bit game-y), Wagyu (lacked flavor/disintegrated in the broth), beef meatballs (good texture, had a cinnamon-y flavor). They had Biang Biang noodles!! Got double order of this since it's so rare to find! I was so excited about this! There's a separate sauce bar with all the standard offerings, and it was clean and well-kept. They served ice cream at the end of the meal when you ask for the check and the flavors available at the time were strawberry, green tea, and mango. Was definitely a welcome, refreshing end to the meal. Music was very rave-y melodic EDM and loud; could barely hear the server/conversation. Really wished they would turn the volume down.

Yelp
Easygoing, low maintenance hotpot, what more could you want? The selection of food and sauces at ipot are great. Meat eaters and veggies alike have a ton of choice. Several veggie broths as well including a pretty well executed spicy miso. Ipot is the equivalent of fast-casual for hot pot. Ordering via an app that lets you pick what you want and when. Delivery to the table was pretty quick and the servers were fast and attentive. Love the individual hot pot concept- makes it easy when you have veggies/no veggie or folks that don't like spicy. Ambiance is fast casual-no frills bit clean and comfortable. TVs up on the walls and a space full of steam from the pots and the happy chatter of diners. It's kinda like a big home dining room Net-net: good for casual hotpot.

Yelp
Nothing beats hotpot on a chilly day. Missed lunch so we were hungry. Arrived at 5pm, and we're seated right away. Haven't been back since before the pandemic, so it was nice to return. Order via QR code - order up to 15 items at a time and can only place an order every 15 minutes. We decided on the half Tom Yum and half Pork Bone soup. Forgot to take pictures of everything we ordered, but standouts were the marinated meats for the grill. Kiddo liked the Biang Biang noodles (perfect chew) and the salt and pepper chicken wings (limit one order per table only). I also like the fish balls filled with cheese. For dessert, the fried buns with condensed milk and pumpkin pancakes (like fried pumpkin mochi) were good ways to end the meal. Each person also gets a scoop of ice cream as a finale. Service was good. Our water glasses were continuously filled, our soup topped off regularly, and they cleared the dishes quickly. Decently priced at $37.99/person for AYCE.

Yelp
Great spot out in inner sunset during the wintertime! I came here for a warm dinner and left with a full belly. Location: The restaurant is out in Inner sunset and very accessible with parking or the N Muni. We came right at opening so we were sat right away. The restaurant is two floors and very large inside. If you come around 7 on a weekend, I would warn you there may be a wait! The floors are a bit sticky so I wouldn't wear any new shoes to this restaurant. Service: Service was quite fast in the beginning. We ordered from a QR code where they had a bunch of options listed. Keep in mind there is a limit to how many dishes you can order in 15 minutes!! I accidentally ordered too many meats and not enough veggies so I would make sure to re-read over your cart. Food came out within a 10 minute wait but any additional service you will need to wave over a server. Food: All delicious and a great amount of options. You can do both hotpot and kbbq at the same time so it's a nice variety. I personally preferred the hot pot as the veggies and noodles were super fresh. We both ordered the szechuan broth which had a nice spice level to it. It was interesting because there was dim sum on the menu, including soup dumplings. I would come here again although it is on the pricer side. Great for big groups as well!

Yelp
This is my favorite spot to eat in the city! I can come here by myself, on a date night, or with friends and family. This hot pot restaurant is unique because of its grill and hot pot combo with an AYCE menu and sauce bar. The meat is pretty good quality for the price your pay but the real star are all of the great choices. I recommend the Thai Tom yum and pork bone soup bases for a chafing (2 flavor) pot or just Thai Tom yum for a single pot. My go-to sauce is 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp cilantro, 1 tsp green onion, 3 tbsp ponzu, and 1 tbsp soy sauce for dipping meats, dumplings, and vegetables. I came with a group of 13 people and called the day of the event to reserve tables for the large party. The restaurant is usually first come first serve, but they make exceptions to accommodate larger parties. The service was good despite it being a busy Friday evening. We all left full and happy! IPOT is a 100/10 in my heart.

Yelp
My girls and I came here for some dinner after our beach day at ocean beach. We ordered the tom yum and a good selection of meats, veggies, and sides! The soup base came out fast and the sides come when they were ordered since we order a few rounds of foods. Interior is decorated and the space inside is very spacious. It was a vey busy as night as almost all the tables were filled or so. Service was fast and fun. However, I was a bit disappointed in the fact that they ordered or charges us for AYCE but never selected this when we ordered our food. We specifically ordered dishes per the a la cart prices and expected the bill to come out that way instead of the AYCE price. This was all due to the fact that I had to leave early to pick up my dog from my friends house and didnt get a chance to say anything about it.

Yelp
One of my favorite hot pot spots in the city. Ipot offers an exceptional AYCE hot pot and BBQ experience for ~$40, complete with a sauce bar that boasts an extensive array of condiments to elevate your boiled meats and veggies. What truly sets this place apart is their variety, quality for the price, and the extensive sauce bar that caters to every kind of hot pot enthusiast. The selection of meats, vegetables, noodles, etc. is extensive, and from my experience, everything has been consistently fresh. They provide smaller portions, a thoughtful approach to minimizing food wastage. My go-to for broth is the half-and-half pot, where one side is the fiery and aromatic mala spicy broth, while the other is a soothing mild herbal broth. This allows you to savor both distinct flavor experiences in a single meal. What truly seals the deal is the remarkable sauce bar. It stands out among its peers, offering an impressive selection of sides and sauces that cater to every type of hot pot enthusiast. You'll also find an abundance of fresh cilantro, green onions, and garlic, all meticulously maintained by the attentive staff The restaurant is spacious and can get fairly crowded, especially on cold & gloomy evenings. The staff here is fast at bringing you everything you've ordered, ensuring that, despite the AYCE format, you won't wait around for too long I have nothing but love for Ipot and would recommend it for anyone with a hankering for hot pot in SF!

Yelp
All you can eat hot pot spot located in the heart of inner sunset. Plus, KBBQ too. $38 to eat your stomach out... Came here to cure a violent hangover because sometimes you just need a nice bowl of soup. But make that all you can eat soup. Totally worth! I ate until I couldn't feel my stomach anymore. It was intense and delicious. I would recommend the Schezuan spicy broth. We also ordered the mushroom broth but that did NOT have much flavor. There is a bunch of items to pick from. I'm sure whatever you're craving in your hot pot, they'll have! Ordering is mostly through your phone. Service is super fast - you put your order in on your phone and they'll bring it to you almost instantly. The spot has high ceilings and tons of booths and tables for a big OR small party. Super casual! Would come back when I'm feeling ambitiously hungry!

Yelp
Great hot pot place in sunset!! It's AYCE hot pot AND kbbq with lots of great choices of meats, veggies etc. Came on a rainy Friday and was happy to see no wait. The marinated meat for the kbbq was delicious, especially the bulgogi! Would recommend coming here for a fun meal!

Yelp
Decent hot pot option in the city. Here you can do individual hot pot or the traditional large shared pot depending on the table availability. The service here is really hit or miss as I've had both good and bad experiences. In terms of meat and ingredients they have pretty decent quality but my main issue is the service ordering more can really be random. Sometimes what you order will come out in a couple mins or it can take 30mins. I will say my favorite thing they offer here that I don't see at too many places is the biang biang hand pulled noodles which are delicious. They parking in this area imo sucks so I'd recommend taking an Uber/Lyft
