We stopped by to grab Ramen for lunch. We ordered the #8 and #11. The place is really busy, but we got our table and food pretty fast. Both ramen broth has good flavor. The noodles go well with the broth. The meat was tender. However, the broth was a bit salty. Prices were reasonable.

Google
We stopped by to get our last ramen meal before leaving Japan, and we were not disappointed. I mean, to be honest, it's nothing spectacular, but it was tasty and hits the spot just before you leave. It's busy, but the seats open up frequently, so you don't have to wait long. They don't let you secure a seat before ordering, which is a great idea. It's worth the stop before leaving. The staff hustles (just like everywhere in Japan), and the place is clean and organized.

Google
Ippudo is one of the famous ramen shops in Japan, if you transfer in Narita Airport, this is another must-try spot. Had No. 7 Bari Mori Akamaru with a rich tonkotsu broth and 2 types of pork chashu (melt-in-your-mouth pork belly and slow-cooked pork loin). It was one of the best ramen I’ve tried. There was a big line when I arrived but the staffs were very efficient and polite. You go straight to order the food, pay and then the staffs will help you find the table. Food came out super quick and fresh. They do dine-in only and they do not accept USD. And if you use credit card they only take JPY. Definitely will be back when I visit Japan again.

Google
Good ramen restaurant inside of Narita airport to stop for a quick meal before your flight. The service was fast, and the ramen was quite good. The broth was very rich and flavourful, and the noodles were also cooked well.

Google
Perfect service, perfect ramen, perfect broth. Service staff were super efficient and polite in arranging a table for 3 for us. Just the right kind of food to warm our tummies before we board our flight. Taste just the same as other branch in Tokyo.

Corinne

Google
Food is okay as a welcoming meal in Japan and affordable too considering that we are in the airport. Ramen costs 1000 yen each.

Google
Fast service. Waited less than 5 minutes. Short line. Clean and well organized. Tastes so good. Perfectly seasoned. cooked aldente and the broth was so rich and filling. Definitely try them when you’re in the area.

Google
I took a transfer at Narita Airport earlier this year and it’s my first time “in Japan”. I had the classic ramen and it tasted great! It’s not like really mind blowing amazing but still better than most if not all ramens I have had in North America. Also the service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
Sure, I'll rate it a 5...why not? After almost a two week vacation spanning Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kyoto, we figured our last meal in Japan ought to be ramen. For an airport restaurant, we are shocked to say that this was one of our better ramen experiences. The broth of the original bowl (I ordered) was extremely flavorful, but not just overly salty. My wife's bowl was the spicy ramen (red broth), and she enjoyed every last drop...literally. The customer service us standard, but very organized. You pay, get an order number, and another employee seats you. Despite being full, it was well structured and efficient. Overall, we had a quick, delicious experience. Ramen IS filling, so it may be best ro eat when you still have awhile to board a plane. Otherwise, enjoy

Yelp
Naturally, one desires ramen for breakfast so with their 7:30AM opening inside the T1 Narita Airport, we were through their doors ordering two #1's -- the KIWAMI Shiromaru Classic (1390 yen). It is certainly a little pricy for ramen, but the prices at the airport do match those at the ramen-ya in the city. While their original tonkotsu broth in their classic Shiromaru is savory, lightly oily, and only slightly rich, I do usually favor their Tsukemen, a style which was absent from this particular menu. Otherwise, the #1 was still a solid and comes with all the works -- half a soft boiled egg, chashu slices, negi, kikurage, and a healthy helping of bouncy, ultra thin noodles. In addition to ramen for breakfast, I guess one does savor a Pale Ale in the form of their Kaedama Ale, an ale made from Ippudo's noodles! The server did not bat an eye when we ordered this first thing in the morning for some reason... Inside tables are plentiful and therefore tight, therefore, I do not think it is luggage friendly. A very popular choice inside T1! I much preferred paying for this versus settling for lounge food.

Yelp
In Narita Terminal 1, near gate C16 in departures, Ippudo is your last opportunity to get an authentic bowl of tasty ramen before flying out. We had an hour prior to boarding and this was on the way to our gate. I ate here while hubby was next door at McDonald's getting his last minute regional menu fix in. I ordered the #9 - Tamago Akamaru and it was delicious! The broth was good although a bit oily. Flavor was definitely present. The char siu was cooked perfectly and the noodles were firm yet bouncy. It was so good I almost finished the bowl. I left with a full stomach and a happy heart!

Yelp
The place was clean. The line went pretty smooth. They even had bibs. Food came quick and it was good. We were so hungry I forgot to take a photo.

Yelp
Very convenient to have Ippudo at Narita's airport. This is in Terminal 1 and about a 2 min walk after you clear customs and walk past the first couple souvenir shops. Pass on the Burberry and get a bowl of ramen before you take off. Ordering is fast and yes, they take card. Workers are always around to clean and prepare tables for the next customers. Don't eat your bowl in record time but be mindful if there is a line. There is an area to return your trays. We got the akamura modern and I thought it had a salty flavor. Not the type of ramen where you can drink the broth away but good for a few sips, but not too many sips. Beware if you are sodium sensitive. They have a water station with free water cups. It's not an uncomfortable crowded space but we were there at 8pm on a Thursday, so there was space to sit where you want, but it's not a super huge space where you can bring all your suitcases to park. At 8pm, there are not a lot of options left at Narita. This place is fast and good enough.

Yelp
Need a meal while in transit or before your flight? A good option is IPPUDO in Narita Airport located in Terminal 1. This restaurant is part of a ramen chain and one of the more popular options for ramen in Japan. Even though there is usually a line, it moves quickly as most diners eat and go. I don't eat airplane meals so I have to eat before I fly or I'll starve to death on the flight. Usually I bring something small to eat but it's no real substitute for a real meal. On our way back home, I needed to eat so I decided to dine at IPPUDO since I didn't eat there in yet during our trip. Mink was over ramen so I ate by myself. The menu board is huge and easy to choose what you want. They also have a smaller menu right by the cash register so you can point to what you want to the cashier so no language barrier issues. I "accidentally" missed and pointed at the large beer. Oops! Obviously I didn't want to be rude and cancel it so I kept that and added their number 07 (Bari-Mori Akamaru Modern) ;p After paying, they give you a number and you find yourself a seat. As busy as they are, staff there clean the tables religiously. The staff gets your order to you really quickly to enjoy your meal. Make sure to return everything at the return counter after you finish. Great ramen choice in Narita Airport and I'm glad it was my final meal for this most recent trip.

Yelp
The ramen was amazing and very reasonably priced! We used to go Tatsu but this is way better. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
Surprisingly delicious find at Narita Airport. The ramen was rich and flavorful. Atmosphere and service were nice as well, with plenty of seating to accommodate the many customers.

Yelp
Classic pork broth ramen with two squares of nori on the bowl, sliced green onions, sliced mushroom, half a soft boiled marinated egg, thin slices of pork and one thick slice of broiled marinated pork. The place is full of tourist since it's located in the departures gate area after going through security. Due to the majority of customers being foreign, many people did not know to pick up their own water and any seasonings they might need, the baskets which they can place their belongings in off the floor instead of taking up valuable seats, or the tray return area where they could return their tray and all utensils and bowls to speed up the process of cleaning up the place. This meant that with four staff in the front, two were tasked with cleaning up tables and directing customers to water and utensils as well as assisting with managing the luggage. One was delivering the trays of ramen and one was taking orders but the number of people waiting in line never seemed to go down since who doesn't want some ramen before a 10hr flight. The pork bone marrow stock was very creamy and rich with strong flavors. Was a little disappointed by the how thin and delicate the pork slices were until I bit into the half inch thick pork belly slice that was braised after being slow simmered in strong flavors. They really don't need the business from the looks of things but wanted to point out that the yelp listing says they're open from 7:30pm-midnight but they were open at lunch time and their web page goes by the Japanese custom of 24hr clock and said they were open 7:30-24:00 so 7:30am, if you feel like ramen before heading home, might be fun to check out.

Yelp
Get your last minute ramen fix before you board your flight. Hot and delicious ramen to warm your soul. Plenty of seating.

Yelp
I've had Ippudo in the US, but I'm blown away by the quality of meat/ingredients in Japan. Don't let the line fool you! Take a look at the amount of seating inside if you're nervous, people move in and out very quickly (reason being meals at the airport tend to be more rushed than most, I'd imagine...) My mom and I ordered the #1 Shiromaru special toppings and #11 Kiwami Karaka with flavored soft boiled egg. So delicious, the pork was tender and the broth was so flavorful! The noodles are chewy and the green onions/bean sprouts are fresh. My mom ate her entire bowl and proceeded to put some of my noodles inside her bowl to mix with her broth, so I'm sure she enjoyed hers too. Totally recommend coming here if you're in Terminal 1.

Yelp
Ippudo serves some of the tastiest ramen I've ever had. I tried the #1 KIWAMI Shiromaru Classic and the #8 Chashu Akamaru, both bursting with distinct and delicious flavors. The #1 had a delightful floral note, while the #8 delivered a satisfying spicy garlic kick. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the tender, flavorful meat added to the experience. The generous bowl sizes ensured a satisfying meal. The casual and clean atmosphere makes it a great spot to enjoy a bowl of ramen. The staff members were nice and quick to serve, enhancing the overall positive dining experience. Definitely a go-to place for ramen when at the Narita airport.

Yelp
This famed ramen chain place is decent. It's about the cheapest decent option in the airport terminal 1. The ramen is tasty and it's easy to order as much or little as you want for sides. Very fast service. Not overly salty, which I liked.
google avatar

Norases V.

Yelp
Tastes better than in the US! Noodles are fine and firm as ordered. Super great fatty melt in your mouth pork belly and chasiu. Kaedama extra noodles is highly recommended! Enough to share with another person. Best hot food option at Narita Airport Terminal 1.

Yelp
Ippudo never disappoints and the ramen is to die for. So many amazingly delicious flavors and the pork is a must. I chose the special ramen, can't remember the name, but I ate it too fast and now I'm sweating, but worth it. The service is very kind and they speak some English as foreigners are often coming through, of course. The ambience isn't noisy and no distractions when eating. Be sure to thank them for their hard work!

Yelp
Such a relief after the long flight when getting a ramen here...cannot think of better thing other than this! It heals my stomach and heart at the same time! The food tasted amazing and the service is great! Amazing amazing
google avatar

Yelp
Great for lunch if you happen to have a stop over flight. Definitely better than the one in the US. There is always a line but it is moving fast. After trying the broth, I recommend spicing it up with the ramen pepper and chili for a change in taste. They have fork and spoons for non-chopstick users
google avatar

Yelp
Ippudo has a line out their door at the airport location for a reason, for less than $10 USD you can dine here on a hearty bowl of ramen and a beer or soft drink. I went with the No.7, the Akamaru Modern with the soft boiled egg. They only serve Tonkotsu broth (pork broth) so vegan friends and non pork eaters, sorry but you won't find a bowl here for you. The broth is very rich, garlicky, and flavorful, yet it felt lighter than most Tonkotsu broths I've had in US ramen restaurants. The chasu was divine and the egg was a nice touch! It is a quaint spot and there are plenty of seats for solo dinners like me most of the time. For travelers, there is some luggage storage under the chairs or stools, it was perfect and The staff were very nice and accommodating -- I speak no Japanese outside of "hello and thank you". I had a 5 hour flight after this meal and I didn't bother with any plane food as I was still very full from this wonderful bowl of ramen.
google avatar

Eurasia L.

Yelp
It looks very simple but this was an amazing bowl of ramen. The line was pretty long and unfortunately, the only ramen place inside this terminal. However , people seem to pick this over the steak house next door. No regrets bcs it was fast. You pick and pay for your ramen, get a table and they bring it you. They ran out of the spicy kind but no worries bcs you can add your spices to make it spicy enough to your liking. One bowl is is full of meats, a hearty boiled egg with a soft yolk, it was satisfying after my 5 hours flight. This bowl kept me full for the next 10.5 hours for the last stretch of my trip going back to Seattle. I don't like plane meals so I was so glad I made it to this Ramen house before coming back home. I recommend this place. Prices are decent and well worth it. Staff is fast and very polite. I love Japan and its culture. Arigatogozamashita!

Yelp
Nice little sendoff ramen bowl. I got ramen twice while in Japan, but the second one wasn't a good bowl. I've heard Ippudo was really good, I've tried the one in NY, and was glad I could snag another comforting bowl of Ramen before coming back to the states. The Ippudo ramen here is better than the one I had in NY. Made me happy I could eat Japanese ramen one last time before leaving...

Yelp
So yummy! I came here during a layover in between two long flights and it was exactly what I needed. By far the best food at the airport!
google avatar

Yelp
The only restaurant at the airport with a line when we visited and I could see why. The line moved quickly and we got the food quickly. Great food

Yelp
I don't always eat ramen , but when I do.... who am I kidding.. I eat ramen everywhere I go. Itadakimas! I am delighted to find Ippudo in Narita airport. Imagine my delight when I saw that signature lantern outside the store. And there was a big line outside. For the folks that know NRT, the longest line was usually outside McD and now the longest line is here at Ippudo. The line moves fast , as 2 counters quickly take orders. Seating may be a challenge, but I recommend you hover around the natives, who are experts and correctly slurp down ramen in 10 mins or less. I went with the standard Akamaru red with an egg. Let's just say I was a skeptic, and did not think the standards could be met at an airport... but I was wrong again. Ippudo = Ippudo.. good ramen anywhere and especially better in Japan. The only downside being.. the chashu was paper thin. But the broth was on point. Perfect balance of porkiness and umaminess. Let's just say this.. if you have 1 hour of layover in NRT.. do yourself a favor .. don;t leave Japan without trying Ippudo.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good ramen. I knew it was going to be good when I saw the line of people standing outside of it. I was happy to find a good bowl of ramen at the airport. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ramen options are plentiful at the Narita airport and I don't think you can really go wrong with any of them. I went with a classic, firm noodle with pork and a soft boiled egg. There is a place back home in Philly where the line often wraps around the corner so I base my review off of theirs as it is quite good but in comparison the ramen broth here in Japan has a different depth of flavor. The pork broth was rich without being too salty and left a very nice mouth feel (which I know was fatty porky goodness). The soft boiled egg was fantastic. It reminded me of onsen tomago or a sour vide egg. It was cooked in the shell. The white was near translucent and slightly custard like while the yolk was just perfect for me ( barely set with some run left in it). This meal was warm and satisfying and just what I needed in preparation for a long flight home.

Yelp
I had never had ramen before (although I had been wanting to try it back home) but once I knew I would have a 2-3 hour layover in Japan, my lunch plans were made. I got a recommendation for this place and thankfully it was right around the corner from our gate. You order at the counter, but there's a nice seating area to enjoy your meal. There was a short line (which was much longer by the time we left) but it moved quickly. This gave us time to look over the menu, which offered about a dozen varieties of ramen. I opted for the chicken shoyu and added bean sprouts, which came on the side. My soup came out piping hot, and at the first sip of the broth, I was in heaven. It was just salty enough and rich in its flavor. There were plenty of noodles--enough to fill you up, but not so much that you can't finish. I kind of ignored the other toppings (thick ginger and chicken with some fattiness) and let them do their true job of adding flavor to the broth, which was by far the best part. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the time for a memorable experience of enjoying a traditional local dish to write home about!

Yelp
Narita Airport has a reputation as one of the best run and most accommodating on the planet. That they have an outpost of Ippudo in the international terminal backs that up. Ippudo is one of the biggest ramen chains in Japan (with the crowds at their NYC locations making it notoriously difficult to get in) and the goods back up the hype. You'd expect airport food, even from a well known chain, to be overpriced and bland. Not the case with Ippudo: a bowl of their Akamaru Special (chasu pork, nori, egg, kelp, scallions in a pork broth) ran just ¥1080. Given the location, finding a seat can be difficult: place your order, grab your table marker, and try to snag a spot somewhere. Waitstaff will bring out your order when ready. This wasn't the best ramen I had in Japan, but it was far better than anything I'd had back home: the broth was rich, the egg poached well, and the noodles just chewy enough. It was a little under-seasoned, though.

Yelp
NRT = Narita International Airport can be one chaotic place. It's a glimpse of what to expect if you are visiting Tokyo. Tons of shops, cute snacks neatly boxed and wrapped, gifts and novelties, and a decent amount of food options. People moving about fast; endlessly walking about, determined and focused. Expect lines at all the stores including the food and convenient stores. If you have a layover or just have ample of time to spend, check out Ippudo for their ramen. Located in Terminal One (1), 3rd floor, in the Central Building (across from Gate# 26). The line may look a little intimidating. But like I said, every spot has a line in this airport. It moves fairly decent, so long as customers eat and go and keep the turnover rate moving. I had about a 2-3 hours layover so after I did my sprint across the stores for duty free, snacks, and gifts, I left myself some time to replenish the soul. I ordered the #1 on their menu which is the Akamaru Special Toppings ramen for 1,060 Yen. At the time of the conversion rate, it works out to be about $10 USD. Don't worry, they accept credit cards so you don't have to go looking to exchange for some Yen. You will be asked to choose your spiciness option as well as the firmness of the noodles. For a solo traveler, this bowl of ramen was more than enough. I didn't order anything else with it, although I was quite temped. Grab your # sign, find a spot (bar or table), and await your food. There's a bar along the wall which has condiments like vinegar, chili flakes, pepper, sesame seeds, and a DIY water dispenser. Also, next to there is where you return your tray with used tableware. Please don't just get up and jet after you slurp down your noodles without returning your stuff. The ramen itself was just perfect. The soup base was solid, rich, and full of flavors. I ordered the noodles a little firmer because I generally prefer the al dente style which they made just right. There was a good amount of chashu pork in the bowl and the nicely runny yolk hardboiled egg. This bowl of ramen was ultimately satisfying and just hit the spot. It did not taste like regular airport food especially if you compare it to the crappy airplane food on a long flight. After 10-12 hours of flying and you land to a bowl of ramen like this, it's undeniably magical. If you have the time to spare and an appetite to conquer, Ippudo is a solid pick especially if you consider it being airport food. If ramen isn't your forte, then the McDonald's next door may serve you better.

Yelp
This was a day of firsts for me. This was my first ever transoceanic/transcontinental flight, first time out of North America (I would count Bermuda in that), first time in Asia, first time in Japan, and first time staying up for over 30 hours straight. In this case, it was my first time eating ramen noodles in Japan. Not many people can say they've done that. And god I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but I didn't want the girl across me to chastise me over it! I got the modern ramen which was about 1000¥ I think. It came out piping hot and spicy. And here's another first: it was the first time I ate a soft boiled egg. I thought it was hard boiled because it wasn't cut open, but when I bit into it all of the yolk came out. So I poured it into the rest of the soup. The pork was good, lean for the most part. The noodles also seemed to be fresh and the anchovies added a nice salty note. Overall, this was truly an unforgettable dinner experience. How will I forget this, really. This goes right up there with me making steak for the first time on Forth of July, or the times I've eaten on cruise ships. I will be back here at some point, but as this was a connection only, this was barely a scratch on the tip of the iceberg that is authentic Japanese cuisine. And as a side note, airline food is not as bad as it may seem if the flight is really long and you savor the food.

Yelp
So glad we stopped by this place to grab a quick meal before our connecting flight. There was a bit of line when we got there but it moved pretty quick. And the food gets served pretty fast too. I didn't know what to order to asked them what they would recommend and they suggested the #1 Ramen and it was so good. The broth was full of flavor and and I picked the firm noodles and it was great. The dollop of chili added a little kick to it but nothing too crazy. If you find yourself at this airport with a little time to spare, I would recommend trying it out.
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding airport meal option. Most likely you will need to wait on line - the ramen is worth the wait. The ramen is delicious. The presentation is attractive. The searing area is surprisingly comfortable for such a small area. This is the best meal option in the airport.

Yelp
I only got an hour and a half layover time in my hand in Narita before my connection flight to Thailand, plus my flight gate is the complete opposite direction from Ippudo. But I even skipped one airplane's meal for hours before landing just for this. So all the trouble I went through can't go to waste! Luckily the line wasn't as bad, less than 10 minutes. I ordered Akamaru special toppings which is the most popular one. You also get to choose the firmness of noodles, I personally like it chewier much better than soft. I had Ippudo from New York in the past and it was above average-delicious while Ippudo here in Narita clearly way better! The broth is deep, porky, creamy, strong yet light at the same time. Umami miso paste and fragrant black garlic oil also add a nice touch to an already delicious soup. Chewy thin noodles goes well with thick broth as expected. Their roasted pork chashu were sliced almost too thin but super tender and flavorful. Semi-boiled egg, tasty while beansprouts and chopped green onions are my favorite toppings in ramen. Japanese ramen chefs can make the highest tier of magical ramen soup, no wonder ramen shops in Japan will continue to stay on top of the world above any other countries. So if you crave for some serious ramen when you come by Narita for your connection flight. I highly recommend you to try Ippudo! It's worth going through a long line plus long distance walk through busy crowd. One last thing, if you love beer plus enough layover time try some of their flavored Japanese draft beer! I chose Kyoho Grape beer which was extraordinarily interesting, a strong grape flavor combined with tasty beer. On the way back of my trip, I definitely will come back for Matcha greentea beer. Because of this marvelous spot and other cool looking new restaurants opened like Mitsumoto Tei. Narita is now officially my all-time favorite airport.

Yelp
I have also eaten at this chain restaurant in Yokohama and there is a vast difference in quality. The three stars are for the staff who were all friendly and helpful. FOOD: Ramen - Disappointment when comparing it to the same dish we had at this chain restaurant in Yokohama. The broth for the ramen was ok. Noodle seemed not as fresh by tasting more chalky and less chewy. Fries - Not worth it. They were not crispy and the seasoning was unimpressive. I believe it is just the powder from the ramen base. Dumplings - Not worth it either, ESPECIALLY if you are expecting anything representing gyoza. Tasted like it came from Costco out of the pre-made frozen food section.

Yelp
Restaurant is located in terminal 1 past the passport contol next to the McDonalds. Line can get long but it should move pretty fast. They have complimentary iced water next to the tray return area. Just push the white button to dispense yourself a paper cup. Try not to hold up the line and decide on what you want to order before you arrive the counter. The clerks are usually nice and can speak some English. ProTip: always order the noodle firm or extra firm. Ramen is usually served piping hot and the flavor is authentic. I've had a negative impression on Ippudo due to my NYC Ippudo experience but this shop totally changed my opinion about them.

Yelp
If there's a better place to eat at Narita please tell me. This is legit ramen. Spicy as hell -- you've been warned -- but absolutely delicious! Not just airport delicious, but delicious delicious. Every time I've been there, I've had the #7, with the lowest level of spice. It's unique in that it has crumbled sausage in it, making delicious ramen even more delicious. While I don't generally go for spicy foods, and even at the lowest spice level this still makes me sweat, I can't resist it. It's not the egregious type of spicy designed to make you hurt, like some extreme taco restaurants in the U.S. try to do. It isn't a challenge. Instead, the spice is more of a flavor than an experience. It blends and melds with the other elements of the meal, dominating, but also complementing the whole dish, rather than making itself the star. I always order with the biggest beer they sell and save the perfectly cooked boiled egg for last to end the meal with a nice mellow flavor. If there's a downside, it's in a heavily trafficked area of the airport, great for their business, but it's often crowded, with a line out the door. No worries, it moves quickly, and is absolutely worth it. Narita is an amazing, if chaotic airport, and though this stop is busy, it's a must-do every time.

Yelp
Stopped by Ippudo during a layover due to all of the hype I heard about the ramen from my friends. There was a short line but it moved fast. I ordered a #1 Akamaru ramen with firm noodles and it arrived to my table with a few minutes. Overall, it was a good bowl of ramen but I wouldn't say that it was so much better than other ramens I've had. The meat was soft and fatty but the egg yolk wasn't as custard-y as it should have been. The noodles had a good chew to them and the broth was rich. Overall, I was satisfied and I would go back but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Yelp
When traveling through Japan please try IPPUDO Ramen. I really want to rate the local Ramen Houses (RH) higher because local Mom &Pop is usually better. My favorite RH is in Okinawa and they make great food, but IPPUDO is just one itty bitty bit better. I'm sure as I travel through the world I'll find better, but this place is consistent, and a great place to fill up before a long flight home.

Yelp
As a ramen enthusiast, I was very happy to have long enough of a layover in Narita airport to stop by Ramen Ippudo. The ramen was delicious! The broth was well-salted and seasoned and I opted for the extra protein and egg - both excellently prepared. I was pleasantly surprised that they were open so early, but I suppose that is to be expected when you have customers from every time zone! Service was speedy and friendly, and the casual environment was a nice, much needed break from the normal hustle of airport traveling.

Yelp
IPPudo finally!!! I heard about its New York branch for great authentic ramen in US. So how was it in real authentic version in Japan? Hakata ramen with good presentation and options. They also offer several options of white, red, and spicy!!! It was good but not great. Perhaps I am too spoiled with greater ramen places at Japan.

Yelp
We are at Narita Airport on the way to Singapore. I watched a documentary about the best Ramen shop in Japan. The documentary showed the dedication and singular focus it takes to create great Ramen. When I arrived at Narita Airport, I had to have Ramen despite being fed well by Delta Airline. Ippudo was by far the busiest Ramen shop at the terminal with lines out the entrance to place your order. Since we were already well fed (aka feeling full) we shared a bowl. We ordered number 7. Karajan Special Toppings. Spicy broth with minced Pork, Chasu and a marinated Egg. We had a choice spicy level. We had the medium. The Ramen was ready soon after we ordered. Good broth, nice minced Pork and Chasu. The marinated Egg was good. 5 stars since we had a good quality bowl for $10 USD (current exchange rate September 2018). Service was fast, efficient and friendly.

Yelp
We ordered the special pork ramen with extra noodles. The broth was rich with a wonderful pork-bone flavor. The noodles were cooked to medium firmness and were delicious and the meat was tender. The service was quick, so don't be discouraged when you see the long line. They are efficient and people move through quickly. I definitely recommend stopping here.

Yelp
After trying the famous Ippudo restaurant in New York, I was eager to visit the original location in Tokyo! Unfortunately every location had a really long line, except the Ippudo in the Narita airport, make sure you stop here for your last meal in Japan. The line may seem long but it moves quickly, and trust me it's really worth it to indulge in this last amazing meal before you have to endure plane food! I had the traditional ramen, it was so yum. My only issue was that seating was limited and you are not able to sit and save a seat while your partner or friend orders. Also, if you have someone in your group that is not eating, they cannot sit in the restaurant. The staff will tell you that you cannot sit down until you pay for your meal and ask your friend to leave if they are not eating.

Yelp
I tried the Ippudo in NYC and I wasn't a fan. But their ramen here in Japan was way better. The broth tasted better and have more options like how soft or al dente you would like your noodles.

Yelp
Easily the best airport food I've ever had. And a better ramen than 9/10 from the states. A great vegan option.

Yelp
Best ramen we had in Japan terminal. I heard good reviews about this and it didn't disappoint when we tried it. We will be back and check out the branches they have in NY when we have chance to visit there. I ttfied the once in Manila and is epic too. Very tasty and awesome flavor

Yelp
If you want a decent Japanese meal under 1,000 yen, you can't go wrong with Ippudo.

Yelp
My last meal in Japan had to be Ippudo. I didn't get a chance to go to an Ippudo location in Tokyo so I decided to grab a meal here (even though we could have easily gotten free food and refreshments at the KLM business lounge a few meters down). It was delicious and only approximately $9-11 USD, which is still very reasonable for airport food prices. It is probably the best option in the terminal given its reputation and price range. The only thing was that you couldn't take the ramen to go. It has to be eaten in it's restaurant. When we were there, it was empty, so it wasn't an issue. But I could see how it would be troubling when there's a lot of people - you won't be able to find a seat. Meanwhile, across from the restaurant is a big seating area for the other restaurants in the terminal. I was hoping to eat with my fiance, who got McDonald's (haha). Unfortunately I cannot, which was a bummer. But we saw each other for the next 15 hours on a plane so that didn't matter - just would have been nice if I could have gotten take out.
