I had a chicken biryani and chicken tikka from this place which is a dedicated restaurant of its own brand of a superstore! The rice in the biryani was really tasty, had a good flavour, although much milder on its spice-level than expected, but definitely had a good taste, and pretty much value for money for the quantity it gives.20 CAD for a biryani in a container this size,i'd say worth it! Also, the lamb biryani is equally worth having!🙏🏼 Although, there's one disappointment that if you dine in and then choose to take away your leftover food with you, they charge for the takeaway boxes!🙄 No one other restaurant does that! Although, they have good nonvegetarian food ,but they do have weirdness too,the one that I just mentioned above A really very weird policy🙄and for this very reason,I'd like to cut down from 5 to 4 stars😌

I recently visited Iqbal Kebab and tried their platter along with some other options from the menu. The food was tasty, with well-seasoned meats and flavorful dishes that really hit the spot. The platter was satisfying and gave a nice variety of options, but overall, the meal didn’t blow me away. However, I found the prices to be on the higher side for what you get. While the quality was decent, I felt that the portions didn’t justify the cost, making it a bit too pricey for a regular visit. The service was decent, and the ambiance was comfortable, but I wouldn’t consider it a standout experience given the price point. In conclusion, I’d rate my overall experience as 3/5. The food is good, but it’s hard to ignore the cost. If you're willing to spend a bit more, it’s worth trying, but for the price, I expected a bit more in terms of flavor or portion size.

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Time or Money I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was far below average—bland, poorly prepared, and not worth the price. However, what really made the visit unbearable was the customer service. The staff were rude and unhelpful, showing little regard for basic hospitality. To make matters worse, they actually charge customers for takeaway containers, which is completely unreasonable. On top of that, they use plastic bags, showing no concern for the environment. In a time where sustainability matters, this kind of carelessness is unacceptable. Overall, this place is a waste of time, money, and energy. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are far better options in the area where your business will actually be appreciated.

I left the store giving them a 2 star but by the time i got home i wanted to give them a 0 star. Other then the fact i had to get up 4 times because service was lacking, the food was also terrible. (Had to get up 4 times because i wasent given my drinks, straw are behind the counter, needed more napkins because i wasent given only 2, and no dine in ketchup available for tables) Only edible item was the cassava fries and thats probably because its literally fried cassava.. the kebab were sizzling as if it was fresh but the actual kebabs were extremely dry, tough, and tasted like there was more daal then meat… we were very hungry and hate to waste food so we tried our best to finish but it just caused us to have really bad indigestion near the end of the night (biggest regret). Im so glad i didnt try anything else like butter chicken and biryani. Naan was just OK. Will not be coming back, sorry.

Great ambiance and service at the Restaurant. The interiors and live Paan counter is the ex factor of this place. I had taken away food several times for lunch. the lunch meals are amazing. However I am a bit disappointed with the dinner I had recently. The taste wasn't good as per the price. I had butter chicken that we requested to be spicy but it tasted like a dessert. The tandoori chicken wings were too salty and it tasted really pathetic.

For the most part everything was good. The food was tasty and the premises were clean. The issue that I had was that management should take note that their POS machine is programmed to ask for tips yet there is no table service that was found. The customer has to go to the counter to collect their food so it does not make sense that the customer should be given options for tipping specific amounts starting from 15%. It would be appropriate to ask first whether the customer wants to leave a tip and then specify the amount if a customer still wants to leave a tip. We went ahead and tipped the 15% thinking that we would be served yet no service. Just left a bad taste no pun intended. The establishment should clearly have posters that there is NO table service so the customer can make an informed decision.

Tonight I ordered food from this restaurant. They told me my order would take 10 minutes, but it actually took 25 minutes — and they didn’t even tell me the reason for the delay. I saw two people who ordered after me getting their food prepared at the same time as mine, even though I had ordered about 20 minutes earlier. I ordered chicken biryani, and they ordered the same thing — yet we received our food at the same time. I said, “I don’t want an order that takes this long; please refund my money.” But they refused and told me, “If you don’t want it, just leave — we won’t give you a refund.” If they try to lie about it, I have a recording of how rudely the receptionist spoke to me.

Great location. Easy park. Plenty of space inside. Multi language customer service (Bangla, Urdu, English). The staff are friendly and nice. We met a nice person, Nasreen Ahmed, who was very polite and cordial. We had Halwa Puri breakfast. Puri was fresh and hot. Halwa was sweet and tasty. Chole (ছোলা) was the winner. Potato curry had a tangy flavor but not something we are familiar with in Bangladeshi cuisine. One Halwa Puri breakfast thali is 11.99 CAD plus tax. Frankly speaking, one order is sufficient for two people. You just need to add puri or naan. We also ordered tea. Tea was pretty average. Overall, we had a good experience. Thank you!
