We really wanted to like this place. We had a tough.time finding it although it was right in front of us. We wanted to have some good pasta and opted for the 4 pastas for 25 euro per person special. Each offering was more underwhelming then the next. Our wait staff was lovely bit of a language barrier but hey that happens and google translate helps. Almost all the dishes were way too salty. I dont want to trash the restaurant. Our best dish was the dessert pane cotta with berries. The wine was OK. We were disappointed by the meal. It was recommended by where we are staying. Did we get them.on a bad night?

They have some really amazing pasta and spaghetti. If you want to try really good traditional Tuscany cuisines you should come here. Customer service was excellent as well and the atmosphere is really cozy.

Maybe I'm being arrogant in assuming I understand anything about Italian pasta, here is my 2 cents. You can tell the pasta is fresh, the consistency and taste give it away. Delicious pasta! The combinations of flavours and textures between the differente varieties of pasta, sauce and ingredients are very original. A great Italian pasta experience!

The food here is amazing. The pasta is very fresh and well cooked. We tried a variety of pastas, and they were all very good! The staff is also very nice and the interior looks great. I definitely recommend this place!

Delicious pasta, best I've had anywhere in Italy. Affordable prices. Very friendly service, especially the waitress Martina who remembered me and my parents from when we were visiting Pisa in February. Would definitely recommend!

We were very disappointed. We were a group of 6 and the restaurant was quiet. The manager was very blunt and looked like she didn’t really want our custom, however we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt as maybe she had had a busy day. We ordered different pasta dishes, the purple gnocchi, the spaghetti pomodoro, the truffle spaghetti, the tagliatelle with tuna, the ravioli with ragù. Th food came quickly, within maybe 10 minutes. We each tried them and they had hardly any flavour, apart from the pomodoro. This was really disappointing from a restaurant which literally just has one thing to get right- pasta! We were expecting to eat something special and we didn’t get that. This combined with the poor service means I would not recommend this place. Looking at reviews, they are all quite out of date, which makes me think maybe they have had a change of chef or management and it isn’t as good as the pictures suggest. EDIT TO RESPOND: It seems people cannot take feedback.. We asked the waitress if we could move the tables and she nodded. Then another waitress came out and told us we couldn’t. We said no problem (even though the area was empty, nothing reserved and no guests waiting) and squeezed onto the smaller table. It was late and we were hungry so yes, we did eat most of our food. I’ve heard Covid used as an excuse for a lot of things but this is just funny 😂 no, we did not have Covid or were effected by it- the truth is the food did not have much flavour. Perhaps instead of spending time responding to reviews, you should use the time more wisely to improve your food.

Set in a nice little piazza this was a very nice restaurant. We had the special couples 3 dishes with 3rd dish 50% off. We had a cabonara, one with pesto and almonds (both pictured) and some meat ravioli. All delicious, hot and well seasoned. All amazing! Nice bottle of house red and little custard fruit tartlets to finish. Go there - you won't regret it!

Great variety of pasta! Pasta is al dente. Service was okay. The inside seating is really nice. Bathroom is clean.

Very good place to have dinner. Excellent food with good atmosphere. 20 Euro per person (minimum 2 person), on the menu, allowes you to sample 4 different pastas from menu. This offer also included house wine, dessert and the cover charge. We liked it so much, we came here twice during our stay in Pisa. Suggest making a reservation or coming early for dinner to ensure a spot. A few people have posted about the female waitress. She comes across harsh but is extremely nice, or at least, she was to us. The other waiter was also nice and both are very busy. They both spoke very good English which was a plus for us.

Great place just outside of the busy tourist streets with view of the Arno on a nice little square. The service was very friendly and once we had chosen the menu with 4 different pasta's and came to the conclusion we couldn't finish it was no problem to alter the order. The pasta's where great al served in little pans instead of plates. The housewin was good and the desert of fresh fruit was truly fresh. Good location to dine with a group as well.

Having driven a few hours south of Milan and stopping in Pisa, it's only wise to stop by the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It's always a good idea to just stay for one night as the hotels are cheap. But when it's all said and done, you have to figure out where to eat. Just south of the Pisa Tower is a small pedestrian area with loads of eateries. Not knowing what is good or not good, I decided to stop at Ir Tegame Spaghetteria. Having it's location right in the centre of the pedestrian area, it is easy to find. Having every restaurant look calm and romantic, it's hard to know what is really casual or not. I ended up walking in with my relaxing sweat pants and my baller cap on however everyone else was all dressed up. No awkward at all. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dark, calm and quiet. It was definitely a romantic place to go. Being the token asian walking in, it was nothing but stares. The staff were nice but they had to really start busting out their english. They did their due diligence and offered water, wine and bread. Then the menu itself was pretty simple. This place specialized in spaghetti so it was a pretty easy decision for me to make... i came all this way and i had to just try their spaghetti and meat sauce. As well the spaghetti with clams were also ordered. Both dishes were amazing and well made. The portions were huge and you can tell was freshly cooked from the pan and thrown right into the plate. One thing that will always kill me for not going back, GET THE TIRAMISO. The portion was large and it was melt in your mouth delicious. AMAZING!! Totally wished i went back for one more slice before my drive south. Overall, a pleasant experience but after being in Italy a bit more, there were a lot better out there. I would still give it a 3 our of 5.

Great location..good start for finding a better plate of pasta..BUT. The woman at the door is so mean .. Not rude but plane mean..! Overlooking that they charger so much euro for bread person n tap water try to say NO. Drink wine. Try calling ahead w your BnB or hotel b4 showing up but the restaurant is close to the best gelato shop in the city another plus.

Don't bother going here at all, worst attitude from the female waiter, we just entered the door and she said full whilst closing the door at the same time , it had opened 2 minutes when we arrived and there was no guest there, she didn't even bother asking us if we had a reservation. There are so many other places around so don't waste your time with this dump.

My goodness. I am so glad Yelpers put this place on our map. One of the best restaurants I have been to while I was in Italy. Their pasta is so fresh and I still dream about it from time to time. It was so good I ate there again the next day. The place is also very homie and cute. It looks like my dream childhood bedroom completed with an amazing Italian chef of course. They don't speak much english so bring that handy dandy dictionary ;).

The waitress was so rude talking to us that we walked away and we went to a less pretentious but delicious restaurant. Too much arrogance to us.
