Veli Bej Baths is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a traditional Hungarian bath experience. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and offer a variety of pools and saunas to suit different preferences. It’s a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing or just to treat yourself to some self-care. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with friendly staff who make sure everything runs smoothly. The baths are conveniently located and not as crowded as some of the more famous ones, which adds to the overall peaceful feeling. One important thing to note is that the maximum time allowed for a visit is three hours, which is plenty of time to enjoy the pools and relax fully without feeling rushed. The prices are fair considering the quality of the facilities and the experience you get. Whether you want a quick dip or a longer soak, Veli Bej Baths offers a great balance of comfort and authenticity. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place for anyone wanting to experience Hungarian thermal baths in a pleasant and convenient setting. Five stars for the atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall value.

Really lovely bath and helpful staff! The baths are located inside the building and through the glass doors. Security had kindly opened the doors to let me in and show me where you could get into the baths. From there, they speak some English at the front desk. In the evening, I paid 5500 HUF for a few hours. Bring your swimwear, towel, flip flops and some body wash/soap, but you can rent some towels and a few other things out. They have lockers available. They have a jacuzzi, swimming pool (on the smaller side), different Turkish baths of different temperatures as well as sauna and steam rooms. It was very relaxing, thank you to the staff!

Historic Turkish bath recently renovated and currently in pristine condition. One large central thermal pool under the main roof with four smaller pools on the side with gradually increasing temperature. Saunas, steam baths and hydro-therapeutic pools complete the offering. Can highly recommend!

Came for the experience, overall I would recommend a visit to this spa. One thing to note, you can pay the entry fee with card but must have cash for the towel hire, and you must have a towel to use the sauna. Unfortunately I had no cash so no towel and no sauna ;( Got here around 8am and it was fairly empty, so would recommend getting in early. Good system with a wrist band which you use for entry and lockers.

Less crowded than the other big baths, cheaper and straight forward. The saunas were small, but very good and did their job. There's 5 small pools inside (4-10 ppl) with various temperature. We came here bc of less crowded and bc they have a detailed floor plan in their website with the order of pools to follow. That was helpful. The signage was also very clear. clean and thoughtful for non Hungarian speakers.

One of my two beloved baths in Budapest. Friendly family like service. Never crowded because they physically limit the quantity of visitors. Classic Turkish style bath area with several temperatures available + saunas + a compact swimming pool + rest area under a glass roof All well equipped. Professional massage. Always check opening times before visiting.

Small but very nice and clean Turkish baths. Only allows a certain number of people in at once, with a 3-hour time slot to use the baths (which is more than enough). One larger central pool with four smaller pools surrounding it. There is a small swimming pool and jacuzzi in another room, and also a sauna area separately. Perfect for a cheaper and simpler option when using thermal baths in Budapest.
