I ordered the big plate jerk chicken with mixed rice, cabbage and plantain. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food is hot and fresh they never let anything sit for very long. My advice? Always order an extra side of plantain you won't regret it. On top of all of this the place is clean and you can always catch someone tidying something. The staff is always fast, friendly and patient.

I went to this location for the first time on Tuesday. I had been previously warned that the food can be very hot. Did not let that deter me. I ordered and I was only able to take a few bites. I got the idea to return it. I was hoping that they could reduce the level of spice. They took my order Worked their magic announce was able to come back and pick it up in seven minutes. I am very thankful that they did that for me. I have no idea what they did but the food was amazing. I highly recommend this place . It seems very often.

Google
I ordered the oxtail bowl for $18.99; the rice, cabbage and plantain portion is good. Nevertheless, I only received 2 pieces of oxtail for this price, which I find it steep, when the oxtail doesn’t have sufficient meat on it. The taste is great; but I think they should bump it to at least 3 pieces.

Google
Can’t speak to the atmosphere because I got the food via DoorDash, but this is the second time I’ve had it and both times the food was amazing. I had a jerk chicken bowl, side of Buddha veggies and cucumber salsa. Got a couple of sides of the jerk salsa this time because it’s AMAZING. The food is good and spicy. If you don’t like heat, I suggest going in person and asking about spice level to make it to your liking. I personally like heat, and it was at the higher end of spice for me, but I like that lol

Google
First time eating this. Ordered (for delivery) the jerk chicken bowl & side of vegetables. Opted for no plantains, keep the cabbage, & add black bean salsa ... order came without plantains, without cabbage, & without black bean salsa. A little disappointed except that the jerk chicken was so good that I need to give them another chance to get my order right. Overall, It was very tasty. Hot enough to need the sour cream side but not so hot it's unenjoyable. Big portions too, easily 2 meals (maybe 3).

Google
Got the Jamaican Jerk Chicken box with Mac & Cheese and Plantains. Everything was excellent. I even got extra sauce and it was just the right of spice. I do not like it too spicy. Definitely recommend!

DeVeta L.

Google
Delicious and boneless!!! I ordered the 1/2 curry chicken 1/2 jerk chicken box over rice and beans with cabbage and plantain and it was worth every penny! As a picky eater who doesn't eat anything with bones, this was a great option to my childhood island fix. 🇹🇹 Oh I had to throw in a chicken and a beef patty as well. I have enough food for another meal tomorrow. Food was generous and fresh and I will definitely order again soon!

Wondrful food, great flavor, amd excellent service. Talked me thru my first order, the jerk chicken was on point. The cabbage and plantain sides were perfect.

Yelp
If you like Jamaican cuisine this is the place for you . Everyone that works there are friendly. The food is so delicious a d plentiful.

Sylvia R.

Yelp
It's was tasty I had the Curry chicken with rice and beans and cabbage. I really liked it spicy.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Irie Jamaican Kitchen is my go to meal when I don't feel like cooking or waiting for delivery. It's super close to me, so I am able to drive or walk over for a ready-made meal that is delicious! I love that it's cafeteria style, where the food is already prepared and all you have to do is select your proteins and sides and head to the check out. The service is usually friendly and courteous, and you can get in and out quickly. I usually get the Box It, which comes with two meats, beans and rice and two sides. I love their plantains and cabbage. The stewed chicken is tender and has a delicious flavor. It really taste like they slow cooked it for a long time so that it could soak up the various spices they incorporate. I also love their jerk chicken. It's not too spicy but does have a little kick. Their homemade strawberry and mango pineapple juices are good but definitely on the sweet side. I happened to be in one time when Chef Omar was perfecting his rum cake recipe and adding it to the menu. He gave me a slice for free, which was so kind. Now I lived in New Orleans for a while and I love rum cake, however, at the time this slice was overloaded with rum. That was a while ago though, and I'm happy to say that I have since had some of their rum cake, and it is delicious. I was grateful to be a taste tester. The real hidden gem about Irie Jamaican is their catering. Its super simple and straightforward and reasonably priced. I decided to order some food for a house party last summer and I was very pleased. Other places want a full contract, huge deposit, etc. Here I was able to call and place the order a few days in advance and I think I gave a card to hold on file. We agreed upon the pickup time and when I headed over, my food was packaged up and ready to do. I ordered a few half pans of chicken, full pans of plantains, cabbage, and rice. It was soooo much food. Everyone enjoyed it and I had leftovers for days. I appreciate that they don't try to charge 700 times more for a simple catering order like some restaurants do. I am definitely a loyal and repeat customer of Irie, it's fast-casual Jamaican comfort food.

Yelp
Ordered the Rasta pasta w/ jerk beef This was my first time here and I really wanted the oxtail but it was kinda pricy so I went with this Rasta pasta to get a feeler of the restaurant and flavors. The pasta was more like a soup and had no flavor but was spicy. The beef was super hard couldn't even stick a fork through it. I'm glad I ddnt spend the extra coin for the oxtail. Prolly won't be back to this place.

Kara N.

Yelp
Never had a ban experience while ordering or got bad food! Longest I've ever been there was 20 minutes with a line full of people.

Pam M.

Yelp
Always a great experience!! I get the same 2 things every time not because other items aren't tasty but those are my favorites. Oxtails & stewed chicken. I change up the sides and it's a new experience!

Jonae W.

Yelp
Jamaican fast food. it's aight but it's not the authentic stuff that somebody grandma passed down for generations but it will do for a good midday lunch

Sham R.

Yelp
The food portions are amazing. Very delicious, my only gripe is the jerk chicken was so spicy that I couldn't even enjoy my meal. I know to request less spice going forward.

Eric D.

Yelp
I was told to go here. I was also told I wouldn't be disappointed. And boy was I glad I came. This place has amazing food. I ordered the spicy chicken and it came with rice and beans. Some plantains and stewed cabbage. Everything tasted great. Everything was cooked properly. The staff was helpful and friendly. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Used to be amazing, but service has become a real problem. I remember when Irie opened at this location--I'd guess I stopped in for the first time within a week of the restaurant first having opened. At that time, it was still very quiet and Chef Omar was regularly at the counter or at least visible. I quickly became a regular, and when family or friends were nearby I'd recommend Irie. My mom was also very sick--in the final months of her life, she became an especially finicky eater. Often when going to see her, I'd stop by Irie for takeout and bring her and my dad something to eat. When my wife and I started dating, we'd often grab takeout and go to the lake with her dog, have dinner, and watch the sunset. It was in a convenient spot, the prices were good, we liked the food, etc. As the restaurant become more popular, the service definitely became less reliable. Long "lines," sometimes being waited on after other folks who'd come in after me, less consistent quality, etc. Still, it was right in the neighborhood, and I felt a sort of pride in it because I'd been a very early customer and had seen it blossom. However, with some sadness my wife and I have agreed never to go back. The past three times we've gone for food we've come up empty-handed. The first time was a walk-in, around 6 PM on a weeknight. The restaurant was out of vegetables. The second time, which was several weeks or maybe a month or two later, we placed our order online ahead of time. But when we went to pick it up, we were told that there were no vegetables. Two times in a row--what are the odds! Finally, this past Saturday we decided to grab something to eat and go down by the lake like we've done so many times. I placed an order online around 6:30, and the website said it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. We arrived 20 minutes later and, after standing for a few minutes waiting to be recognized, I gave the gentleman at the counter my name. He looked at two takeout bags, which weren't ours, and then said they'd just run out of rice and that he needed to make more, and that it would take 25 minutes. Reluctantly, we canceled the order--though for some reason instead of refunding the card I'd used to pay for it, he gave me cash. For a restaurant, this is just unacceptably poor and unreliable service. Three times in a row, over the course of the past several months, we've gone in to get dinner and have literally been unable to get any food, even when ordering in advance. It's also frustrating that in two of those instances, we'd placed our order online in advance. As I said, this place used to be one of my favorite local spots. I've ordered food here dozens and dozens of times over the years, but we're never going back. The increasingly poor/unreliable service has now three times forced us to alter our plans, and I don't see any reason why we'd even bother to risk it a fourth straight time. So, as I said, this place used to be amazing but we've scratched it off of our list.

Yelp
Great food, friendly staff I ordered the Oxtail box, they also have a Oxtail bowl. Great for date night to go. They only allow 4 people in at a time. Then you have to wait for someone to leave before you can come in. The food is already done like cafeteria style, choose the items you want and your done. I chose the oxtail box with curry veggies. The curry is very light in taste, you can't tell at all that it has curry but I wanted something different from the cabbage. The curry veggies consist of sweet potatoes, corn, onions, a little okra. And it is a $2 up charge. My last time I went the didn't give as many oxtails but now for $20 you get more oxtails.

Yelp
I remember this was the first one before all the others were created. I bragged & promoted it to everyone I know. I had it on the westside a few times and I noticed the price gauge. Today I came back to the original and got the jerk. It was absolutely disappointing. The cabbage tasted like American cabbage and bland. The sauce sucked. Too expensive to be this bad. I will not be getting again. I guess they are stretching their quality to create more facilities. Doesn't taste like authentic Jamaican anymore

Yelp
Irie is the kind of place you would expect to find in a resort town, small, cool and taking a great cuisine and making it accessible; instead it is located on E.185 (with a new location by the Cleveland Zoo). Set up as a takeout place with a small counter and chairs to eat in. Decorated in bright colors with plenty of Jamaican charm it is eye catching and get you ready for the great food. The menu is set up around the usual Jamaican food, but it gives you the option to get the food in different ways including boxes, bowls, pasta and wraps. The majority of the food is prepared and ready to go on the steam table. I ordered the Jerk Shrimp Box which is one of the items cooked fresh to order. With the box you get the traditional sides of rice and beans, cabbage and plantains. Well worth the wait the shrimp came out hot and fresh with a really zippy spicy jerk sauce with peppers and corn over the large portion of the rice, sided with the tasty stewed cabbage and slightly sweet plantains, the portion was more then filling. The flavors are bold and bright with nice balance; no need to use the hot sauces there was plenty of heat in the jerk sauce. Irie does a great job with the food and I plan on going back to try some of the other menu items including the vegetable pastry. A great place to get excellent food, give them a try.

Yelp
Low quality food. The parking is TERRIBLE! You'll get in a car accident just trying to get that nasty food.

Kathy M.

Yelp
I was told this place was a must visit, so I did. It's located right on the corner and has plenty of parking in the back. They have nice glass windows so I was able to peek at the menu before going in. The staff was very friendly and helpful with me to decide what to order. The meat came three ways: spicy, mild, and no spice. So I got the no spice. It came on a bed of rice and side of plantains and cabbage. I also ordered a side of mango salsa and a chicken Jamaican patty. Everything was very good. He said the patty wasn't spicy but I think it had a tad of spicy to it. It was still good though. If you want to try something different, this is the place to go.

Yelp
Ambiance: This place is a little cramped with minimal standing room but for carry out it's great. They have a great online ordering system and they currently limit 4 customers inside which is nice. I like the wood paneling and Jamaican themed decorations although some of their lights hang down and block the menu, recessed lighting would easily remedy this. The staff were patient and friendly however which was impressive because the phone ringing off the hook with orders and they were doing online orders between customers during the lunch rush. Food: I would highly recommend the three likkle birds bowl which is beans and rice topped with their curry, jerk, and stewed chicken. It gives you a great showcase of their proteins and flavors which are very enjoyable. What I really appreciated was the excellent preparation of the food; nothing was mushy from being over-stewed or overly dry in the grilled jerk chicken's case. All the proteins were juicy and tender. You can even get extra sauce with the proteins which adds even more moisture and flavor which I would recommend. In terms of the flavors themselves, they are really good. The jerk chicken has a nice allspice flavor with an enjoyable habanero sweetness and only mild-moderate heat. The curry chicken is probably a crowd pleaser as it has a nice clean tumeric flavor and little if any heat for those that can't tolerate it. The stew chicken was probably the most generic in flavor so I found myself enjoying the other two much more. The mac n' oxtails was expensive at ~$15 and had less food compared to the $10 chicken bowl but my wife really liked it. The noodles were a little mushy but the cheese sauce was creamy smooth and the beefy oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender. I did also get a side of plantains and some were definitely less ripe but others were heavenly and well worth the measly $2.5 they cost. I would say the food has a somewhat "home-cooked" quality. The flavors could've been slightly more intense and complex but there is a somewhat large-batch degradation in quality that's minor but noticeable. That said, this is NOT a sit-down Michelin-starred restaurant. It serves delicious food for a very reasonable price in a Chipotle-style format so set your expectations accordingly and enjoy yourself. I had this place bookmarked for a while and am super glad I finally got around to trying it out!

Kadeshiam S.

Yelp
On behalf of the Somers family, we would like to extend our gratitude to Firery Irie Jamaican Restaurant for such an amazing job The food was beyond my expectations and I could not have asked for anything else. Once again, thank you.

Sheena W.

Yelp
I don't think I have had Jamaican food before, but I heard good things about this place so I decided to make the drive over from the west side to check it out. Hello comfort food with a kick! Here you will find large portions of meat in sauce (chicken, beef, ox tail, shrimp) and rice with beans. Styles of meat are jerk, curry, or stew. Then you have sides of fried sweet plantains and curried cabbage. All of this for $9.99 - $11.99 if you "Box It". You can add scoops of toppings like mango salsa, pineapple coleslaw, or cucumber salad for .50¢ extra. Another good thing is that you can do half and half with the meats if you are undecided. Or you can "Wrap It" for $6.99 - $7.99. You pick the flavor flour wrap you want then add your meat (probably the jerk since it's not saucy, don't want to turn your wrap to mush), rice/beans, then you get one scoop of each topping if you would like (additional scoops are .50¢ extra), and finally the sauce. You can pick sour cream or they have this mango hot sauce. On the weekends they do jerk wings, 5 for $6 or 10 for $10. You can wash everything down with a Sorrel $1.99. It's this homemade hibiscus tea cold drink. I think for me the wrap was my favorite because it had the toppings (salsa, coleslaw, salad) and sauces in addition to the meat and rice/beans, just a really good combination of it all. It did warm up my mouth though so you'll definitely need a drink close by to wash down those big bites. The jerk wings were pretty good too, they weren't the biggest in size, but they are served up by scoops so if you're lucky you might get an extra one in your order. The box meal is a huge portion that you can over indulge in or split into two portions, and I did really like how when they place the meat over the rice they make sure to add spoon fulls of sauce to cover everything. I love my sauces and condiments! The lady working was very patient and helpful as I tried to figure out what I wanted. I thought it was funny though that she is a vegetarian serving up meat. Overall, I've had big rice and meat dishes from other cultures, but usually they are fried, loaded with salt, lacking sauce, lacking fresh toppings, or have a bland taste. No issue with Irie for any of those things so I have to give them 5 stars. Plus super affordable with great portion sizes. I would go here again!

Yelp
It's decent Jamaican food. Couldn't really complain I had better out of town but for lakeshore this is good

Hannah T.

Yelp
Such a great lunch option in the neighborhood. The cabbage and plantains are to die for.

Eric J.

Yelp
Love this place. Normally don't review my take out just because it is not a representative of the true experience. But daaaaaaamn Irie Jamaican Kitchen got me feeling good in the middle of the day. I got the ox tail box and it was amazing. The meat melted in your mouth. The sides were cabbage, rice and beans, and plantains. Which is an awesome lunch combo

Nefeterri W.

Yelp
After hearing about this place from so many people I had to try it out. This past Saturday I finally did it. Their site displays a full menu and allows for online ordering. This is the route I chose. I was happy to see they have onsite parking as well as street parking available. Currently the staff is wearing masks and gloves and only allowing 4 people inside at a time. The floor has social distance markings as well. I ordered the jerk chicken family pack which came with Rice and Peas, Cabbage (that was touched by God), and plantains. Each aluminum container is housed in one large box which makes transport much easier. I also ordered a couple sides of Mac and Cheese and two sides of Oxtails. Everything was hot and ready when I arrived. There was so much food. My family of 4 had plenty leftover. Everything tasted great and fresh. This coming from someone who grew up on Jamaican food and cooks it themself. I will definitely order again.

Al T.

Yelp
The food and service is always good. I recommend going here when you have a taste for Jamaican food.

Jeff B.

Yelp
Ahhh, this is the type of place I really want to spend my money at. Ire Jamaican is everything that you desire in a local, mom and pop ethnic eating establishment. These are the same owners that once had a place at the Richmond mall. No one believed that you can have friggin bomb Jamaican food in of all places, in the freaking world the Richmond efn mall. I was fairly pissed when they closed, but that's because it was in efn Richmond mall who's best years were a couple of decades ago. I'm so glad that they opened up and this seems like a really good location. Let's just start with this place is super clean. The owner Omar, makes you feel at home and you can tell he really wants you to have a great experience. His workers are super nice as well, that tells you that the help is treated well and they do not mind being there. From what I can surmise just about everything is made from scratch. They have a lot of standard Jamkn fair, including oxtail, chicken and shrimp curry, beef patties, cabbage, beans and rice. , veggies fresh juices and much much more. You can get a combination platter or chipotle it up with making your own bowl with a nice amount of fresh toppings. I even noticed a vegetarian option but obviously I did not pay much attention too. Being the jerk that I am, I went for jerk chicken, and this jerk chicken was really really jerk ass good. It had a decent level of spiciness with lots of flavor and a subtle smokiness. My side was the cabbage which was fantastic as well. Omar asked how everything was and made sure I was happy while I was scarfing down this bomb ass Jerk chicken. That is what it should be called, Bomb Ass Jerk Chicken. It's settled it will be referred to as Bomb Ass Jerk Chicken. Oh and for all you cheap asses out there, the portions are tremendous and price point is extremely reasonable, it a down and dirty steal if you ask me. If you are in the area, pick some up, even of it just for lunch the next day, you will not be disappointed. Oh and they have a small counter you can eat at if you do not feel like waiting.

Ashley C.

Yelp
This place makes my work day a million times better, which is barely an exaggeration. I honestly come into work hopeful that a coworker will come out here with me to give me an excuse to not eat my lunch from home! The jerk sauce is a bit spicy, but not too much. I recommend getting it to really boost the flavor of your whole dish. The chicken is done well with great spice, and I really love the plantains! I have had a few pieces of plantain and chicken that weren't as moist as I'd liked, but the sauce and rest of the dish makes up for it. The cabbage is an amazing addition on top and I have not even tried the fresh toppings because I cannot risk missing out on these plantains and cabbage! Definitely come out here! It makes Euclid lively and worth driving out too. I would love to try their Old Brooklyn location when it opens. $6.99 for a bowl lasts me a meal and a half and I am not complaining about that for such a high quality bowl.

Amy C.

Yelp
Holy mother, I forgot how good this food is! Today I had the mac + cheese with jerk chicken on top (and they added some mango salsa). Strawberry lemonade. Incredible delicious! So pleasantly full but regretful I didn't have plantains. Next time! Thanks, Irie!

Michaela W.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Order was placed to the wrong location and employees manager and owner were unwilling to refund the charges, no effort at all to help. Did not allow to cancel the order when when they had not yet started it. Will not order from here again.

Shondell W.

Yelp
Ordered the oxtails, no rice and large cabbage. Order came up to $22. Not worth it! I received 4 very small oxtails, knowing there's barely any meat on the bones and they were very tough. Not worth the price at all. I've had food from Irie before and it was ok; but this was very disappointing to say the least.

Ron B.

Yelp
Excellent jerk shrimp and the spice was hot and good. I would also recommend the mac & cheese, pineapple coleslaw, and corn bread muffins.

Brian S.

Yelp
Food is amazing. I love the service and friendly staff. I am definitely getting iRiE again!!!!

Carolyn C.

Yelp
I ordered online, and was able to walk right in and pick up my carryout. I was a first time customer, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I selected the Oxtail Box, with no cabbage-- double rice and peas. However, my order was somewhat overpriced, for the portion size of the oxtails which I received. And, since I ordered double rice and peas, I wasn't surprised to receive a large side dish serving. The food tasted OK, but it didn't WOW me. The oxtails were tender, and not overcooked, but they were not as flavorful as I expected. The rice and peas didn't have the usual spicy Jamaican "ummp" that I am used to. And the brown stew sauce was ordinary.

Gail R.

Yelp
My favorite Jamaican spot! Service is always great and food never disappoints! Will definitely go back!

Thomas M.

Yelp
If you are looking for the best authentic Jamaican food in town look no further than Irie. Amazing staff always friendly & helping there menu is always fresh. You can't beat there prices on everything they have there. The jerk shrimp bowl is amazing highly recommended. They are locally owned and operated & they are looking for new locations.

Ambellina L.

Yelp
Respect ! Stop here for authentic, flavorful, fantastic Jamaican dishes ! Everything is amazing but the jerk chicken box with extra sauce is my favorite. The traditional sides are a wonderful compliment with perfectly cooked rice n peas, cabbage, and plantains. Irie also has amazing peppered shrimp, patties, and curry. This is as close as you can get to Jamaica when in Ohio. Thank you Irie!

Sarah J.

Yelp
All I can say about this place as well. Driving by it may not stand out on the corner but this is definitely a spot to put in your GPS and check out. First of all let's talk about the prices and the portions. I had the jerk chicken on mixed greens with two different sauces, a salsa, and double cabbage and it was under $10 and I struggled to eat more than 3/4 of it. I am a huge fan of jerk and this was by far the best I've ever had. They came highly recommended by locals in the area and they're super easy online ordering and side to go window really made the process easy. They have a nice parking lot behind the restaurant and I actually sat there and ate. You have to check this place out.

Danté P.

Yelp
Yes. Visiting from California! I ordered the two meat meal with Curry Chicken and Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas and Plantains and a side of Mac and Cheese and a ring. So good, tasty, but mild flavors. Needed a hot sauce to accompany the meal. Jerk had kick but it wasn't unbearable . Wish they could make this a chain and put them all over America! Every city deserves decent Jamaican food!

brenda s.

Yelp
Saw a write up in the plain dealer and decided to try this place for something new in these pandemic times. So glad we did! The Mac and cheese with jerk chicken was terrific- cheesy and just spicy enough. The curry shrimp box was good but not spicy at all, and hubby doesn't like green and red peppers so he wasn't a huge fan. But the shrimp were big and very fresh and the veggies were not overcooked. Rice and beans were great and so were the plantains that we got as a side. Cornbread was tasty but a little dry. A lot of good for just over $20. There was a wait despite ordering on line due to them being out of shrimp and then having to bake more cornbread so took a star off for that. But we will definitely make it back here!

Amy M.

Yelp
Wow...Our first time here today. YUM!!! We will definitely be back many many times. Beef patties, jerk chicken bowl, cabbage, plantains, rice and beans with extra jerk sauce on top. Corn bread....every thing was amazing. The only Jamaican food I've ever had was the many times I have been to Jamaica. I'll tell you, it felt like I was on the island, minus the warm air and beach. Today was raining and hailing and 50 mph winds, but we still managed to get in there to have this meal. What a treat this was. I am soooo glad that they are this close to home. Keep up the good work. This place is cranking busy. Very good to see and for good reason. Can't wait to try other things there. If you go, you will keep going again and again, guaranteed. Keep up the good work IRE...you are TOP NOTCH!!!

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Tiny spot with great food, huge portions & friendly workers. Curry chicken has really nice kick.

LaToya E.

Yelp
I was home visiting family and was really hungry and couldn't figure out what I wanted, my mom suggested Jamaican and I jumped right on it. She sent me to this little carry out and now I have it in my pocket for the next time I visit! The portions were a great size for the prices and the food was DELICIOUS. I got the stew chicken, cornbread and cole slaw and my mom got Ox tails, i didnt put a bad thing in my mouth lol. Even the rice was flavored perfectly. My only issue is the guy helping us responded as though we were bothering him by asking questions, it was my first time there and my sister is new to Jamaican food so we had a few questions.

Valencia E.

Yelp
Omg this is my go to Jamaican restaurant. The food is always fresh and there is never a long wait. The proportions are great and the service even better. I will continue to support this restaurant.

Philip J.

Yelp
I went there about a month ago for the first time. Can't recall what I got. I think it was the Stewed Chicken. I have a high bar due to having a Jamaican wife obviously her family and what not. But they did very well. The cabbage was very good. They stewed chicken was on point. The rice was ok too. I should have asked for extra gravy. But now I know. Also I didn't know that there was a location on the west side so at least I have a close location instead of having to drive to the east side.

Yelp
IJK on 185th is great, just enough seasoning and the prices aren't bad. Location is always clean fast and efficient. Sign up for the frequent dinner program it's great!!!

Yelp
One of the best places to eat in Euclid and the best Jamaican food I've had! I go here for lunch at am always satisfied with the meal. I've tried most of the meats on the menu and will try others soon. The cabbage is top notch and I would highly recommend!

Yelp
This place is great. I love the oxtail. I'm not sure about the cabbage - I like my food with no oil or with olive oil or real butter. I can't tell for sure so high I'm careful.

Yelp
Really impressed with Irie. We came in about 45 minutes before closing and suddenly there was a line out the door behind us! They were still bringing out fresh food and that says a lot. Everything was great. I liked that they make the Rasta pasta to order and the pasta is al dente. But even the 5 cheese mac and cheese looked great which you can order as a side or with jerk chicken on top. The oxtail was fall off the bone amazing. So glad we found this place and definitely will be back! The spice level is mild and they have jamaican hot sauce which I had to add. Yum! I was told that they don't take phone in orders but the line moves quickly.

Yelp
I love the food here! I usually get a bowl with curry chicken and the mango salsa is just excellent. I love plantains so of course this is a big plus for me being able to get them less than 5 min from home. The prices are reasonable and the decor is nice. So, why the 4 stars and not 5? Customer service. The customer service is bad. No one greets you when you enter and it's almost like don't ask questions, you should know what you want. The guy, who I think is the owner is always yelling to I assume the cooks in the back and today the young lady stared at me when I walked in and didn't move. After a few minutes she says from her seat "do you know what you want?" Seemed as if I was bothering her. The customer service is what keeps me from going as often as I would like.

Yelp
Sorry, the portions are small. But mostly, each dish tastes similar...and has a fast-food feel.
