Took myself out on a solo date here and it was such a great experience! The fried oysters were delicious and the bang bang shrimp was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The vibe is romantic and classy with dim lighting and French music in the background. The waitresses were super sweet, kept checking on me and gave such top-notch service. Perfect spot for a night out or just to treat yourself like I did. Definitely coming back!

Came for an Anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Noah, was fabulous and very friendly and kind. Food was absolutely delicious. Not to mention the teamwork between the staff was incredible.

Jacqueline was awesome! She was so friendly throughout our dining experience and offered some great cocktail recommendations. My husband and I are celebrating being newly weds and they pulled out all the stops with free dessert, wine recs (on sale!), and awesome ambiance. We will be back next time we’re in Des Moines!

Went out for a night on the town. Google said this was the best prime rib in DSM, and it didn’t disappoint!! Also had four course meal, gunpowder NY strip cooked to perfection. For anybody wanting to try something new -bone marrow definitely worth a try! Our server, Rio, was the best!! Had spot on recommendations and very knowledgeable.

The food, service, and ambiance were absolutely outstanding! Daniel was superb his wine recommendation paired beautifully with our meal, and he even surprised us with a dessert that matched the wine perfectly. Every detail was spot on, creating an amazing dining experience from start to finish. My taste buds are beyond happy!

Talk about a great experience? This was it for us. I made a reservation here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and let me tell you it was nothing short of amazing. The music, the atmosphere, the food, the service? Everything was more than what I expected! I even had a special request for my wife that they even fulfilled and to say I’m overjoyed with how beautiful our evening was, is an understatement. Came here for my birthday dinner and was met with the best service from the host, bartender and our server, Noah! We were greeted with smiles and a free cocktail that we could enjoy while our table was getting ready. Upon getting seated, we were warmly greeted by Noah who helped us with ordering and gave me a lovely birthday shot! Throughout our dinner, we were helped not only by Noah but other servers who ensured our drinks were always filled and that we were doing alright. Everything from service, food and ambiance were great and I will now recommend Irina's to friends and family for a nice dinner/ celebrating!

Overall, the ambiance and customer service was on point. The restaurant was clean, dark and moody- great for a date night. We went on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. Ordered cocktails, Caesar salad, ribeye steak, Brussels, and fries. Everything was on point and cooked to perfection. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because the food wasn't anything crazy special. It was great but felt like a normal steakhouse. Would love to comeback again

Both kids had stuff going on and I had the chance to slide off to a last minute invite for dinner with a few friends on Friday evening. Although I really miss the old location off of Hickman I still get over to Irina's now and then... I was the first to arrive and soon after the hostess had seated me Dmitri came over to say hello. It's always great to see him. Irina was under the weather and wasn't on site. I've gotten to know both well over the years and I really enjoy catching up with them both. He knows how I felt about the old location and I'm in my 50s now and don't always deal with change well. The current location is beautiful, and I'll get used to it, but I still miss that old wooden horseshoe bar and the more intimate feel. This visit was to see a friend who has since moved out of state (Tena). Our reservation was for eight at 800 PM on Friday evening. We went over our planned eight and Dmitri quickly helped expand our table to meet our needs. The first time I met Tena was actually in Irina's (the Hickman location) back in early March of 2021. I was in Irina's trying the poutine that had been added to the menu not long before that and Tena was there planning a birthday party. I recognized her from Facebook...along with a very big pink unicorn pinata she had recently purchased, I introduced myself, and I've been friends with her and her husband since then. As everyone arrived over the first few minutes our server was quick to take drink orders and we moved on to food once everyone had arrived. I started with an espresso martini. I don't think there was an introvert at the table so conversations flowed like efficient drink refills and if service was slow I'm not sure I would have noticed it. We ordered quite a few appetizers that were shared around the table. Bang bang shrimp, tuna tartare, calamari, philly cheese steak eggroll, and stacks of onion rings. I can't honestly say I can remember what everyone ordered for entrees. I had the almost famous lobster macaroni with a side of grilled asparagus and I know Tena had the Iowa farm pork chop that came with a glaze, garlic whipped potatoes, and brussel sprouts. I will say that I was expecting the normal lobster mac n cheese with chunks of lobster meat and I was pleasantly surprised when my bed of macaroni came out with a very nicely sized lobster tail perched on top. The lobster was cooked perfectly. The meat had already been separated from the tail so it was no muss no fuss. Her pork chop was a HUGE chunk of meat balanced on an end making it a can't miss focal point. Presentation at Irina's has always been something that is going to be really hard to beat anywhere else... Say what you want but they put out some picture perfect plates. We wrapped up after a couple of hours and said our "see you laters..." Goodbyes don't really seem to happen with this group. More like... Until next time! I think we all enjoyed the food, I know I did mine, but sometimes dinner is really more about the company you keep at your table. In a lot of ways Irina's can be as divisive. Mannnn... I've heard good and bad. But I can only judge on my personal experience. Yes...I know Irina and Dmitri, however when I go in they are not always on site and their staff doesn't know me from Adam. Maybe Daniel would recognize me... I've been a customer for well over ten years, I don't consider myself a regular though, and I've never been treated rudely or had a bad meal. In fact it's a business I take visitors to from out of town and one I recommend. Are there going to be off days? I'm sure there are. Like any other business in 2024 they sometimes face both staffing and distribution chain issues. Have I experienced slower than normal service there every now and then? Sure have. And I've had that at many other places too that I continue to go back to also... I've always found that easy to forgive for good food. I've written a couple reviews over the years and I've tried highly recommended places and I've went to places intentionally that received pretty bad write ups. The one thing I would always stress with anywhere... Reviews are subjective. Even mine. Don't let a couple of bad reviews, or something you hear, dissuade you from trying someplace new. No one else is writing your book. If someone is going to be the one putting your pen to your paper to tell your story... Let it be you! Am not sure what change, but it's not good when the best food on the meun is asparagus. The crab cakes had a weird burnt taste on the outer layer and was very fishy tasting, the lobster bisque and little to no lobster in it and tasted bland, I returned spicy margarita that wasn't spicy and was overly lemony, for spicy cucumber margarita it was not drinkable. It was a huge disappointment because we love this place so much and usually the food and service is amazing. I would hate to see this place shut down and hope they can turn things around.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Very appropriate for a date or taking clients out. The lobster bisque was the best I have ever had. My husband loved the creamed spinach and the ribeye was cooked perfectly. I had the salmon which I'd highly recommend.

Our Servers name was Daniel and he was astounding, helped us understand the menu, was very kind, and even gave us a free dessert on the house 5 Service.

Two stars because I was with a party and some of them had a slightly better experience. I have heard so many good things about Irinas and was excited to go there friends. I am leaving this review for management because what we experienced was pretty awful but fixable. We were seated and did not have water or menus for 15 minutes. Our drinks arrived 40 minutes after we were seated - carried by hand like we were being handed drinks at a kegger - at least one being held at the rim of the glass (not a cocktail tray in sight). We ordered wine, which came fairly quickly but it took at least another 10 minutes before one of us went to the bar tender to ask for wine GLASSES - and it was at least another five minutes before they finally were on the table (one glass still missing). My wife ordered the surf and turf and was told there would be a $20 surcharge as they did not have 6oz Filets and she would be required to pay $10/oz for the 8oz one. She asked for broccoli instead of asparagus but the meal came with asparagus anyway. My chopped salad was dry and flavorless with few or none of the cucumbers and tomatoes listed on the menu. My filet arrived overcooked and swimming in melted butter. My baked potato arrived five minutes later - a lone uncut potato on a plate with no garnishes. The garnishes arrived three minutes after that - after my friend asked for them. And my grilled asparagus, dry and also swimming in oil, arrived 3 minutes after that. Most of our friends had "solid" meals though it was clear they had previously experienced much better. We might try one more time but we hope you work on these things!

I have always enjoyed eating here when I travel and for special occasions with my family and friends. As the menu has now been updated, I will not eat there as much. It has become a little too pricey for this person. The menu changes are expensive and all cuts of meat are quite large and expensive. They used to plate the entire meal for a price but now each part is a la carte. There are few other items to choose from that are not equally expensive. The food is very good but expect to pay a lot for a meal. Unfortunately it does not fit well into a travel budget or to treat family. Service is good but when I went to leave and find someone to speak to, no one was anywhere in the bar or dining area at all.

This is a restaurant with great potential that is being held back by poor management. My wife and I went there for dinner on Monday, July 7. I is relatively new, nicely decorated, and has a great menu. On entering, circa 7pm, we asked for a booth in the virtually empty dining room,, because of my wife's bad back. Our greeter had to go find the manager, who never came out to see us, but refused our request. The greeter said the manager told her they were reserved for larger parties (remember, the dining room was empty!). We were then offered a booth in the bar. We had drinks and ordered. I talked with the server about the beef tenderloin I ordered and we agreed it would be on the rare side of medium rare. My wife and I also ordered salads and rolls. The salads were good, but we're both served at room temperature, and the rolls never appeared. When we asked our server what had happened to them, she said she had assumed we wanted them with our entrees. We then cancelled them. When our dinners arrived, they both looked good, and were nice and hot. Unfortunately, my tenderloin was served medium, and one of the mussels in my wife's seafood was bad. Otherwise the food was OK. When we left, the dining room was still empty. So basically, the chef was good, but somewhat inattentive to quality control. Our server tried hard but was poorly trained for an upscale restaurant. We never saw the manager, but we ascribe all of our problems to his or her lack of attention to the needs of the customers.

We went here on New Years Eve with our good fiends. Despite high hopes, we were quite disappointed for several reasons. As we were being seated, we were told by the hostess that due to the holiday and the anticipated rush of dinner-goers, there was a limited table time to 1.5 hrs. That was fine, but the hostess was fairly rude about it. I understand the need to tell us that and set that expectation, but the way she approached it was abrasive and not needed considering the place was almost empty when we entered it and not full when we left. There is a better way to deliver that message. Maybe invite us to step over to the bar when we are done eating. We'd gladly pay for more drinks if we thought you wanted to serve us. A more tactful approach could have been used to deliver that message. Apparently, there was a special holiday menu although we didn't know that was the case when booking the reservation or going into this place. Very, very limited menu compared to what is normally offered. Had we known this prior to going, we likely would not have gone there. There were no options for salads, bread or otherwise. We heard other tables whispering about the reduced menu as well. For a place known for their dry and wet aged steaks, none were offered tonight. The prices we were charged were 4% above listed menu prices with no mention to us as to why. It wasn't sales tax, because that was a separated line item on the check. We didn't realize this was the case until after we paid and then there was no finding the waiter to ask. None of us had ever seen this before. There were only 4 of us, so the extra 4% couldn't have been added on for being a large group!l?!? Now to the food...I had the Caribbean Grouper, which was good. Nothing special, but good. My neighbor had the Japanese Wagyu New York. He said it wasn't good. Tough in spots that couldn't be chewed through, like chewing cartilage. I've never had Wagyu before, but he wasn't impressed. He was wishing he was at Rubes or John and Nick's for a legit steak. The wives had the Squid Ink Symphony that they seemed to enjoy. The drinks were fine and pretty reasonably priced compared to the rest of the menu. Overall we were very disappointed and likely will not give this place another chance. Bad experience overall for the price paid.

I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars because out of a group of 6 diners, two had a good food experience, but the rest of us were really disappointed. We were here on a Wed night for a group dinner. We all agreed we wanted an "early dinner" because everyone was busy and had places to go afterward, so we made a reservation for 5 pm. Despite the 5 pm reservation, the restaurant did not seem ready for our group, and although we were seated promptly, no one gave us menus or waters for roughly 30 min. Our server was a nice enough guy but did not seem knowledgeable about the menu or the cocktail offerings, and as a result, he was not able to answer our questions without going back and forth to the bar and kitchen, which added more time to our experience. After being served our drinks, we finally put in our dinner orders around 6 pm. At this point there were a few other tables with couples but in general the restaurant was not busy. Within 15 min our server returned to let us know they were out of several side dishes, prompting us to make other selections. Why it took so long to let us know is a mystery. Our dinners were served around 6:30 pm, after being there 90 minutes. I had ordered a grouper steak with an undressed baked potato and side of asparagus. When my dish was served, it smelled weird, and after a single bite, I could tell that a) this fish had been frozen and freezer burned, and b) was totally overcooked. I did not eat the rest. The other diners had a mix of seafood (everyone reported that their fish dishes were overcooked) and meat dishes (meat was cooked OK but extremely salty). The only two people happy with their meals were the ones who ordered the scallops - they thought they were cooked and seasoned well. After the meal, we again waited a good 15 min for the return of our server and the bill. The bill was wrong, with us being (over)charged for several of the side dishes that we were told were not available. We brought this to the servers attention and he admitted and corrected the mistake. This place definitely does not feel like a quality venue focused on customer satisfaction, or even good food. With so many other steak places around town, and/or surf and turf options, I would not recommend this place.

Used to be my husband and Is favorite restaurant. We went back on Valentines day for a nice dinner for the price to be spiked up and everything ordered separately not to mention my rack of lamb completely undercooked I requested Medium and received a tough piece of raw lamb that I could barely cut. As well the host with ginger hair fulled our water glasses I said thank you and reserved a huff as a response. What used to be a $150 meal turned into $260 and was stated if we used cash it would be cheaper but of course no atm to pull cash out. We both left unsatisfied and disgusted by the whole experience! If I wanted to pay an arm and leg for an à la cart menu I would have gone to Flemings. It's frustrating going to a restaurant that we used to go to in Johnston to them taking the steak off the menu to changing the menu at the second location to be even more crazy expensive.

I want to begin with whenever I visit Des Moines I make a point to go to this restaurant but after my experience yesterday I will not be returning. It started at the very beginning when out server told they were out of both 4oz and 8 oz filets... it is a steakhouse Ok things happen We asked if there were any specials and she said no we are preparing for tomorrow's special ... BBQ Again not great but we moved on We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees and even several sides I can only speak to what I ordered 6oz filet ... I really wanted the 4oz Au gratin potatoes and some dinner rolls I was raving to the table how wonderful these potatoes were last time, they came and I cut into them and they were brown ... like they sat out before cooking/ so disappointing Then I cut into what was suppose to be a medium cooked steak and it was definitely well done My daughter ordered the same steak and hers was cooked perfectly. I am not one to send food back but the steak was $48 and way overcooked I talked to our server and she was polite and offered a couple of solutions I chose to just send it back and ate some of my daughter's steak. I watched her carry it around the restaurant and then return with the plate and said You just cut it in the wrong place ... what???? My reply was even where you cut it which shouldn't matter is was overcooked She shrugged and walked away they did remove the charge but it was a terrible experience So disappointed!

Great food, very nice atmosphere and pleasant service that is not disruptive. Well worth trying for yourself!

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim because we didn't feel like cooking. We were seated right away without a reservation around 7 on a Saturday! Environment is great, cozy and intimate, not overly loud. Food is good, prompt. We both got steak. A little over seasoned for our preference but well cooked! Prices were slight different from what's listed online, only by a dollar or so. Also I thought my filet mignon came with potatoes as well as a veggie, but I only got the veggie. Our waitress, Audrey was great. Super friendly, answered all our questions, gave us plenty of time to browse the menu. We would definitely come back!

The food was just so-so. We had the seafood Diablo, salad and beef tenderloin. This is an upscale restaurant, wouldn't seat us in the dining room, said they had a lot of reservations. The seafood Diablo had some very fishy mussels and scallops, the shrimp were fine. The beef tenderloin was overdone. They also had no anchovies for the Cesar salad. The server had very poor English, couldn't bring a seafood fork for the mussels; said they were in the dishwasher. This place was empty! Way over priced for the quality (lack thereof). No, I would not recommend this place.

I think the atmosphere here at Irina's is one of my favorites low lighting very romantic feel. The owner is there many nights and I love that she checks in on us and lets us know that she appreciates the business. Some of the best food presentations are prepared at Irina's every meal we have had been amazing!!

Parking - in a strip of businesses with a parking lot so quite a few spots. Service - top notch, so friendly and overly helpful everything our waiter did was the extra mile offering suggestions and filling up waters. Food - absolutely amazing. Full of flavor and for the price you actually get a ton of food. Some fancy places seem like they give tiny portions, not here! Had a ton of leftovers. Seating - bar, low tables, large booths that can fit 6 people, and separate curtained area of seating for larger groups. Atmosphere- perfect fancy, date night spot. Dark and sexy lighting with the penguin waiters making it feel super classy and elegant.

I had been dying to try this new place as I'm a steak fanatic! Definitely not at all what I expected. It was an upscale setting when you walk in, a little too dark for my taste. Seating arrangement made me feel as though I was constantly in the way. Now for the food- the presentation was phenomenal! By far the most cleanest and decorative I've ever experienced yet! I mean I felt like I was in a chef Ramsey restaurant. The dinner was great; however possibly a little too heavy due to experienced heavy heartburn following the dinner.

Not the best first impression, but could have been worse. Stopped in for a birthday drink and sat in the bar area. It seemed to take awhile to have staff come to our table (it was seat yourself) and when they did it was just to drop off water (no menu or any information about whether they were a server). A seat opened at the bar so we decided to grab it. Bartender walked by us several times and even said hi but still had to wait for a menu or acknowledge they would get to us soon. Finally got our drinks and ordered an appetizer. Took 20 minutes to get our food but it was really good when we got it (bang bang shrimp). Thought my martini was on special (it was $8 martini night and I ordered a dirty martini with regular olives) but it ended up not being the case. But we did get the shrimp on special ($8 when regularly $11). Might try again to see if we hit an off night.

Made a reservation for 6 PM on a Tuesday night in the bar area. When we arrived, we were asked where we wanted to sit, and we confirmed the bar area, and were seated pretty quickly. After a bit our server came over to get our drink orders. She stopped back 3 times to see if our drinks had arrived, but after 25 minutes we still did not have them. She asked if we wanted to order appetizers, but seeing that we couldn't get drinks, we told her we were going to leave and find a different option. Others at the bar who came after us had their drinks, and the bartender appeared to have quite a few other duties. We never saw a manager/owner working the floor--only host, 2 servers, and a bartender. We went to another locally owned establishment on University Av in Clive; without a reservation and of similar size and staffing (from what we could observe). We had our drinks in a few minutes, our food in 20, and were done dining in under an hour, and saw the owner 3-4 times.

Ambiance - dark, as you walk in it feels like you might be entering a gentlemen's club, but i gets better. Bar/drink - no complaints except maybe draft beer selection could be better. Service - no issues. Food - this is the problem. It really sucks for a steakhouse. The appetizers and the ala carte sides were just bad. The creamed corn and creamed spinach where bowls of thick cream with a touch of veggies. Gross. The apps were heavy. The oysters Rockefeller were stomach turning and inedible. Even the Caesar salad was kind of lousy with aged lettuce and what seemed like mayo-based dressing. Stick to the filet mignon (good cut and well seasoned) and mac and cheese and you will be safe.

We had a great meal and service! My mom was visiting by from out of town. I chose Irinas because it is not a chain. Our sever was very attentive. Thank you.

We came here last summer for my husband's birthday dinner. The atmosphere was nostalgic, the waitress was great and the food was very good. We were surprised there weren't more people there. Generally there are lots of cars in the lot. We were told they have opened a new restaurant out by Jordan Creek that is quite popular. We will be checking it out also.

Our waiter seemed like a good guy and tried, we had a larger group Bar - was a joke, three beers available out of 20+ on menu. Mixed drinks were an adventure Apps - good, but plates they were served on were scorching hot. We couldn't pass them to share Main course - many meals were over cooked It was our group plus 20 other patrons in the entire place, so kitchen and bar were not busy. For the price, complete disappointment

Went in for the steak and crab legs. Placed our order for it, only to find out they don't even have the crab legs in the restaurant, an hours and a half later! Why let someone order something you don't have? Unfortunately our waitress was getting buffaloed as well. Being told to tell us a half hour, ten minutes.... yet no crab. Many patrons walked out due to this problem. This restaurant has potential, but is under poor management. Service was great otherwise. Place was quiet, and quaint. Could have been a great experience, but I doubt I will ever find out.

My wife and I mistakenly ended up at Irina's Sunday night for dinner. At 7:00 pm we were they only two people in the restaurant. That should have been my first clue to run to the exit. I ordered the steak de burgo and my steak knife could bearly cut it. I had maybe two bites and left the rest i couldn't chew it. Our waitress asked if she could box it up for me and I said no i can't eat it. I expected to hear from her is there a problem how can we help ? Instead she just took off. I spent almost $200. with tip and left starving. Never again !

Yummy drinks and apps. Filet was like butter though a bit undercooked. Our server was a doll and the ambiance is nice.

We have waited a long time for this restaurant to open. Now that it is so close, although the food was above expectations, I'm not sure we can afford to come back very often. Our waiter Philip (I think) offered lots of options but they all seemed to be the most expensive options on the menu. He also talked us into getting a full bottle of wine. We won't do that again. As for the food, I'll add photos because the presentation was over the top. The mixed drinks seemed expensive for the amount of alcohol in them. The steaks were flavorful and sea bass was delicious. The chorizo potatoes and saffron rice were all good. I ordered a salad for myself but got salad for four. I recommend Ifor a special celebration night out but this won't be a regular for us.

I have been to Irina's so many times and then moved away. I intentionally came back today because I wanted to enjoy a delicious meal. Food was amazing, service started out great, but then was disappointed and I left before I was done to head to helotes to finish so I could ensure I had a beverage to finish.

We have lived in the metro for a year and have been trying so many different restaurants to find our faves. We tried Irina's for dinner, not knowing what to expect. The staff was very attentive - service was great! The food was excellent and the presentation of the food was a visual experience! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner here on a Monday evening about 8:00. They do a lot of things here right and rarely are all of the senses and sensibilities satisfied like they do here. First, the place is warm and relaxing with perfect dinner music. The food is beautiful and beautifully presented. A treat for the eyes. The service is attentive, knowledgeable and as friendly as you like. Our table was visited by Irina herself. We had the Oysters Rockefeller appetizer - an ample portion for two. It had a unique twist on the traditional recipe, served with a type of cream sauce and grilled lemons. I would normally prefer the traditional recipe, but this was a nice twist, especially for someone with an adventurous taste. We had the iceberg salad as well. Consistent with the theme here - the lettuce was presented in a form of a tower with bacon, onions and tomatoes arranged on the side. We were somewhat disappointed that there was no cracked pepper offered, nor were there salt or pepper on the table. The salad was a little light on dressing and along with the lack of pepper, a little short on flavor. We also noted that there is no bread served and we kind of missed that. Our main entree was the NY Strip, wet aged, which our server advised was marinated in a house spice before aging. The steak was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, tender and flavorful. My only regret here was that we split the dinner, not that the portion wasn't large enough, gluttony was kicking in. We also ordered the grilled asparagus as a side, and it was very good. The cheesecake we ordered was also very good, with a very berry flavor, complemented with drizzled berry and chocolate as well as a whole strawberry and a portion of blueberries. The wine selection is ample and the whole menu is fairly priced, I believe this is a very good value. In summary, the food flavors weren't the best, but nonetheless very good and everything else, ambiance, service and especially the food presentation was over the top good. I would definitely return here.

Hello. My wife and I just left you restaurant having had a very bad experience. My wife ordered a dish that she was previously able to order without mushrooms, but tonight, was not an option. The dish that she then ordered was brought out. With mushrooms... I ordered the sea bass of which I previously had and have hailed as the best sea bass I've had. It came out and my first bite had a hunk of meat in it. I cannot eat red meat or pork. I asked if the menu had changed. Our server asked the cook and he assured her that there nothing but seafood. Going through my dish, I discovered sausage and another meat. It was told to us that it was cross contamination. Un-excusable. The way that this encounter was handled was extremely disappointing. The fact that you, as the owner, could not come and acknowledge our concerns was a major let down. Also, let it be known that we still paid for our appetizers and bottle of wine. We are never trying to look for a free meal. Needless to say, we will not be back as the message has been received loud and clear. If this would have been your white clientele, there would have been a different outcome. I'm quite sure that this does not concern you in the least, but I felt the need to advise you of our disappointment. This is the message that was sent to the owner that received no response. Let me add the first time we attended we was billed twice in which they never corrected after several conversations. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to be refunded.

The atmosphere was amazing, great piano music low lights and great decor. Satine Took care of us in the bar area and the service was amazing. The dock was the best I have ever had, no greasiness at all and fork tender. The risotto vegetable tower was flavorful. Generous portions, rich flavors, and an excellent value. great spot for a date night.

1st time. Reservation for 6:45PM on a friday evening, no waiting, we were immediately presented to our table. There was only 1 other table occupied. Customer service, food service was great. Food presentation was excellent. Very high price for DSM. Simply due to the price and competition, we won't be going back.

We had reservations for my daughter's birthday. We were sat immediately and our server/hostess was very personable. The space is beautiful and the menu has so many delicious options it was hard to choose! We started with Calamari and the Boursin mushrooms. Both dishes were very good but I was especially pleased with the Calamari as it was perfectly cooked and lightly crispy. My son got the Waygu steak which was excellent and my daughter, daughter-in-law and I picked pasta dishes. Everything was tasty, hot and came to the table quickly. We really enjoyed the evening and will be back.

The food is an absolute 10/10! Service is phenomenal well taken care of and very nice! It is very cozy in there and really nice atmosphere! I would 100% recommend going there to eat, it's a great family dinner, date night, and or business dinner place! No other place for steak or seafood I would go... Go eat at Irina's Steak and Seafood!!

We tried out Irina's Steak and Seafood before a comedy show. They were preparing for a large party and we were not the priority. We waited quite awhile to receive our bill and for them to process the payment. Since the service, food, and wait time was not good I left a 13% tip. Fast forward a few days and my server decided to up the tip to a 35% tip!!! Upon calling the restaurant- no one answers and the mailbox is conveniently full. This whole experience was disappointing as I was excited to try a new restaurant in town. (December 2022)

I came here to have my birthday dinner and everything was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the attention we got was very nice I absolutely loved it !!! If u want a good fruity drink try the mango martini !

Ngl this was awful on every level. The drinks took long but the appetizers were even longer and weren't even good and had small portions. The food they cook tastes like they don't use any spices or butter and is either charred or dry. Don't go here with high expectations. It feels more like a status thing rather than an actual restaurant. It's a scam.

Food was mediocre and not cooked the way it was ordered. Carry out was across the street and was cold by then.

Food was good and service was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the vodka tasting! And they are open late for West Des Moines
