i just moved in a week ago, so far it’s been amazing. the carpet and paint was new, and the kitchen and bathroom seemed very up-to-date. nadia was an amazing agent to work with and i appreciated how straightforward and easy she made the move-in process go. i had to get a work order on the bathroom and the A/C and she put it in right away. maintenance came within 3 days and fixed the bathroom /clogging issues and also replaced the A/C with no hesitation. so far, very good experience! 😊

I love my apartment and the facilities staff was quick to respond to a couple of needs (paint on balcony and toilet running). The grounds staff do a great job of making it look nice. I appreciate the office staff helping me get settled, etc. I had to get a new key for my mailbox and they gave me a new one which works. Problems: geese poop, and on-site laundry facilities. I wasn't able to start the washer because I couldn't get a good signal. So I go to the laundromat instead. Overall though, I am very satisfied with my apartment and Irish Hills.

Want to get woken up by a Waste Management truck slamming down garbage bins and beeping for 20 minutes at 5:30 in the morning at least twice a week? Well then, you should move here. I’ve asked them nicely twice to call their trash contractor who they hired and ask them to not come so early, especially since it’s a noise violation, and they apparently have better things to do. I’m sure dozens of my neighbors are getting woken up too. The police told me to try to handle it with Irish Hills, but I guess they want a noise violation fine.

After living in Irish Hills for 7 years, I had initially given a bad review about the increases in rent over the years, while everything was outdated and old. After being contacted by the staff about this review, they updated my apartment. While it took 5 months to get it completed, Im happy with the updated look. Jeff the Maintenance manager has been a bright spot in the process. He's very friendly and kept me in the loop about when and what will be done. The office staff has also been very helpful with getting things done. Overall, the section I live in is fairly quiet and there has only been a couple isolated criminal incidents over the 7 years Ive been here. Mostly just car break-ins and 1 unfortunate gun violence incident which is hard to really escape any where in this city. The property is well maintained aesthetically. All of my complaints have been addressed. The only downside is the rising cost of rent year over year, but that is a bit easier to swallow now that my unit has been modernized. A+ work.

I submitted a maintenance request a couple months ago about a bird in my heating/air-conditioning duct. The bird left on it own and maintenance found that the ducting to that vent was badly damaged and needed to be replaced. It has been a couple of months and the duct is still damaged and I'm still heating and air-conditioning the attic which is costing me more money for my electric bill. The condition of the ducting looks like it has been that way for a long time and I have always felt a draft when the wind blows from a certain direction and I have had to deal with flying insects like wasps coming through the vent I finally had to tape some plastic over the vent to stop the insects and minimize the heat and air-conditioning lose. I feel that my rent should be lowered for this inconvenience to at least my original amount from when I first moved in.

A tenant lost my cat and I was blamed for it as I was "not on the lease" by the property manager after being ejected myself for complaining of no chores and development of flies. I lived here as a tenant a decade+ ago and the only thing that has changed is the fancy locks and laundry app.

I live in a smoking building. Why on God's green Earth would I purposely rent an apartment in a smoking building as a music teacher? The property managers are completely fine with renting out smoking buildings to non-smokers. It's 2025? Not 1983? Absolutely screwed up and not cool. No one else in my building knew it was a smoking building either, especially considering they're non-smokers. Such a screwed up place with zero care from the property staff. UPDATE: They did not reach out to check in with me about this situation. They do NOT care about the people living in these apartments.

The staff was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to answer all my questions. They gave me a great tour of the property, and I loved the extra touches like fresh popcorn in the community room and the live music by the pool. It really made the experience enjoyable!

Yelp
They deserve zero stars. Their office staff sucks, maintenance sucks and the units are overpriced. Black mold, ants, everything breaks. I have so many stories and I've only been here 10 months. Thank God my lease is up. Irish Hills can f themselves.

Yelp
None they do not tell you the things that you need to know before you pay your money before you even put your name on the lease this place is not handicapped accessible it's not seen your friendly they do not do their job like they're supposed to I'm very disappointed in this apartment and in this place

Yelp
WHAT A JOKE! Whats better than signing the lease at your first apartment? Leaving that same apartment a year later. Pros: you get a apartment cons: the rent was far over priced for the quality of the apartment. Weed smell lingering all through the complex dog poop all over the yard. Maintenance was a joke one of them lived above me had verbal abusive fights with a girl throughout the night. Moved another girl In with a child one night at 3 in the morning i here water running his visitor fell asleep supposedly washing her child and the bath water overran and leaked into my bathroom which caused mold. What did he do about the mold???? waited three days just to spray paint it cut a hole in the ceiling to fix a pipe ruined my floor. He was also very friendly with the staff in the leasing offices so friendly that told all our personal business to him and he shared it like a Facebook post another maintenance male would show up different hours of the day and night blasting music and what it looked like to be selling drugs! The leasing offices ladies are very dishonest, rude and unprofessional. Did not redirect my mail when I moved out most of the leasing staff stayed there and made sure their personal problems were taking care of first before everyone else received someone else mail a dozen times informed them of the situation still no action taken. Very unhelpful Called the District manager several times could care less about the property very rude. They lost my 60 day notice which resulted in another month being charged Admitted on the phone he knows how bad the staffing is and how it was their mistake.

Yelp
Lived here for two years and it was overall good and affordable. The Good: -Maintenance is very responsive -Never had issues with noise/neighbors -Affordable The Bad: -Those stink bugs that were everywhere seem to infiltrate everything -Older buildings at times had the issues older buildings have -Always paid the rent on time, one month due to an error with their system the rent was not deducted. Instead of contacting me via phone or email they left a note on my door while I was on vacation threatening legal action. While the situation was ultimately resolved it was a bit annoying that this was the route they took after 2 years of never giving them any issues and always paying rent on time. *Note: There is no grace period for rent. It is due promptly on the 1st!

Yelp
The unit I was supposed to rent was gross and nothing like the demo unit I was shown. I never received any messages about an alternative unit that would've been worth paying over $900 a month after utilities and internet.

Yelp
Do not move here! Yes the rent is reasonable but after living here for almost three years, it has rapidly gone down hill. Where do I start. Snow removal begins about the same time u r leaving for work in the morning. Forget about the sidewalk being cleared. When I moved in it was cats only, but my building was designated a dog building and now they r everywhere. Neighbor has not one but two small yapping dogs that the rest of us r sick of. Also recently saw someone walking a MALE Pit Bull! Seriously Irish Hills r u that desperate for money? I never agreed to live around that yet my rent keeps going up. Also cigarette butts r all over the sidewalk in front of the door. Called office twice nothing done. To b fair maintenance responds quickly.

Yelp
I lived here for a year in one of their more expensive units (which was still reasonable compared to other rates in my area). It was quiet and my neighbors were nice. Maintenance was quick when requested. The staff were okay, a little bit snobbish, but I didn't have to see them too much. My primary complaint was that the snowplows plowed cars in, but that might happen at all apartment complexes. I've heard bad things about the smaller apartments (noisy neighbors, more crowded parking, sharing washing machines), but I was happy with my unit and it was well worth the extra $100 per month for the space, dishwasher, washing machine, and fewer neighbors.

Yelp
This place wasn't bad at first until the people in the office who make sure you paid everything started fucking up and telling my roommates and myself we owed them more money, every time we told them they were wrong they said they'd look into it but then charge us a different about every month. Oh, then some asshole hit my car in the parking lot and drove off. I will never go back. I'm now in Hickory Village which is owned by the same people and it's even worse. Pay a little more and get a nice place!

Yelp
This place is absolute trash. The managers refuse to deal with complaints such as maintenance members not adhering to their appointments. When I asked the man to leave because I was still in bed (I work nights so being in bed at 9am is typical) and I told him there was an appointment for anytime after 3, he told me no. He kept trying to come in my bedroom to change an air filter for the furnace in the closet. I told him I wasn't dressed and he needed to come back later. He still refused to leave. Luckily my boyfriend is a cop and spoke up before he made it to our bedroom. The man finally left. The manager, Frank, told me that they have too many apartments to actually manage the appointments and that if I didn't like it so much here I should move out. Not even 2 weeks later, a woman started hanging around our apartment at all odd hours. She's bipolar/schizophrenic and clearly off her meds. She's loud, disruptive, and follows us because she thinks we will help her get her kids back when they were kidnapped. Come to find out they were taken by CPS. Again, I bring this up to Irish Hills and they completely ignore me. No call back, nothing. Then, the maintenance guy from my first complaint tried to buffalo his way into our apartment AGAIN. I was able to speak with a much nicer manager after that, who was apologetic and promised to get someone else in there. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Same guy was in my apartment when I came home from lunch. At least this time he adhered to his appointment time. Not to mention, 2 years ago, we had another issue with a maintenance person breaking in and stealing our ps4 games and tablets. All of the locks were new because I had broken my old key off in the lock a few weeks prior, all of the doors and windows had the sticks in them, and when I came home that morning, all of the doors were still locked. All keys were with me at the time. The manger told me that his maintenance people were too busy that night to break in and steal things. Take your business somewhere else, readers. This place is not worth the headaches they cause and then refuse to deal with.

Yelp
Irish Hills is a community that is worth living in for the price. There are some hidden charges in the cable services that they offer and the people in the office forget what they say quite a bit but for the most part the office Personnel are great besides one individual named Mike. From the first day I signed my lease he has always been a jerk arrogant and acts like he's better than everyone he's just not a person that should deal with people
