A quaint and lovely coffee shop with a menu that will certainly have something for everyone. I had the bread pudding and it was indeed one of the best I’ve had, moist, freshly baked and not too sweet, just right. My friends had the lemon square and the pistachios bar. Both were excellent. We were seated by the window, the lady server made sure we took the table with the great view as soon as the previous customers left, even if we were seated already in another table by the door. That was so very kind of her. Service was kind, warm and thoughtful and we felt like we were with family. They have a huge collection of teapots and mugs and it made this coffee shop all the more interesting. The retro chairs and the colours also added to the happy and cheerful personality of this coffee shop.

ADORABLE! My husband and I stopped here for a quick coffee/tea on our journey around the Irish Loop road while on vacation from the US. It sits way up high on a cliff with gorgeous views of Witless Bay (I believe?) The place is super clean and bright and sunny, filled with fun retro 1950's dinette sets and a zillion brightly colored tea pots. Our server was SO fun and chatty and helpful. That day we only got coffee and tea and each got a baked good (BEST lemon bar I've ever had!). We loved it so much we drove back for breakfast another morning of our trip. SO many yummy offerings with a full wall-height chalkboard of specials. I got the eggs benny with home fries. It was spectacular. Perfect hollandaise sauce, eggs poached perfectly. Husband had some potato breakfast casserole that he loved. Again, our server was a delight! Would make this a weekly stop if we lived anywhere close by. You must give it a try!

Came here on our trip in September and when we come back we will definitely be back for another great breakfast! The food was amazing and portions were great. Server and chef were super nice and the place has a great view of the town!

Irish Coffee House has such a beautiful homely vibe🙂. They had multiple vegetarian(no eggs as well) options including desert.

The coffee was delicious, the view and atmosphere were fantastic, and the menu was extensive, homemade, and a great mix of bistro and traditional Newfoundland. We had Mac & cheese, which was absolutely delicious and piping hot, and for dessert, apple crisp a la mode and a toffee bar. It was all DELICIOUS. The place was busy, but the servers were friendly and great! A real gem that’s worth the 30 minute trip down the southern shore from the capital city.

I had a truly disappointing experience here. The coffee was the worst I've ever had—it's literally just colored water. We ordered a large breakfast, but what we received was a small one, nothing close to what we expected. Overall, it was an underwhelming visit. Would not recommend

The inside is very cute and the food was great! I got the bacon and Brie croissant. Unfortunately the service was very poor. We weren’t checked on once during our meal and had to go up to the front to pay because I don’t think a cheque would have ever been brought to us. I ordered coffee but would have asked for a water with my food if anyone had checked on us as it’s fairly typical to be given water at a restaurant. Overall a very strange service experience and I won’t be back.

I had pretty good coffee, and the most delicious egg avocado sandwich. Service was great and the atmosphere is really nice with scenic views
