I have walked by this place a few times but never made it in. One time, they were shooting a TV drama and was closed all week. Another time, the line was way too long. I'm glad this time I made it into this charming place because the rain was not letting up. I can see why they filmed in here. The setting is compelling like a warm inviting home. Bookcases full of books, soft glowing lights, and old school decor makes me want to take a nap. Music is soothing and everyone is just softly chatting ... not trying to be melodramatic, this place is a nice retreat from the craziness of Tokyo.
The menu items are like most cafes with plenty of hot & cold drinks, pancakes, other sweets, and pasta dishes. I had the special daily pasta mix which came with a capellini in veggies & meat sauce, small side salad, iced tea and a pancake - all for around ¥1,100. Food tasted good but nothing to get too excited about. The latte was delicious though. Highly recommend hopping in if in the area.
