Great venue. Was easy to get in and out of. Close to the hotels near UAB. Loved that the bar was so accessible. For it to be a small venue, even when it was packed out, it didn’t feel cramped. We came from out of state so I don’t know how likely it is we’d be back, but I would definitely see another show here.

Angelica C.

Google
Cool venue. I loved the fact that there were 3 different levels for people to view the show from. Security was on top of it (I had like 6 crowd surfers come my way and they did their best to help prevent them from falling on us).

April W.

Google
We had a great time. Mom Jean's put on an excellent show. My only complaint or suggestion would be to have someone sort of seating available for people around pit area for people.

Sara B.

Google
We’ve been here twice in the last three months. First, we went for their Studio 22 NYE event which was a blast! The unlimited drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and perfectly selected live entertainment made for a wonderful evening. Second, we went to see Chappell Roan who had local drag queens open for her. Both times were a blast and parking in the area was plentiful. Would definitely recommend this venue!

Mira T.

Google
My first time coming here for my 1st R&B only experience. The venue is nice and clean. The drinks for the event was OK. They didn't have a variety of cocktails. It's street parking but it was full so we parked in a paid parking lot on 5th Avenue.

Google
Only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I have a very bad spine and choice NOT to bring my brace or anything! Plus , I Needed a handicap parking places in lot next to venue in my opinion. Did not see one , except on street ! So glad we came early for the excellent Mark Broussard band ! Great sound , voices , and amazingly talented musicians! Other than a NO CASH CONCERT for drinks is sad in my opinion. But understand the reasoning.. I use to do security for Tony Rufino; up at Oak Amphitheater and BJCC .. Birmingham-rocks !!!

Google
I went to see Steel Panther, and it was an awesome show. It was my first time going to Iron City, and I loved the venue. I hope I remember the name right, but I appreciate Courtney setting me up with the ADA seating, which was very comfortable and had a great view. The drinks were reasonably priced also. On top of everything else, I ended the evening catching a drumstick from Stix Zadinia. I look forward to hopefully attending more shows there in the future

Google
Tonight was pretty amazing! The venue held a lot of people but it didn’t feel unsafe or stuffy. Great band tonight at the private event we attended and the acoustics were terrific. Staff was friendly and efficient! The valet parking was a nice touch plus the VIP areas upstairs were a good idea. Overall, 5 stars!

Yelp
Julian Bond highlighted the event which says a lot. This was a tribute to the late great Bernard Lockhart. Creator of Magic City Smooth. The artist were awesome. The quartet was composed of really talented musicians. Carr performed with his quartet and rocked the stage. The seating in this hall has three levels. It was difficult to get tickets so we ended up on the third level. We were the first on that floor and seating on our ticket were tables 16-20 with 20 the worse table. We should have been able to get a better table but our view was blocked but the speakers. Original ad said 1st come first served. Not the case since we were first. We were told we possibly could be moved but afterwords Multiple Complaints fell on deaf ears. However we had a great time and the food was good.

Yelp
Great venue! I've been to several concerts here and even a wedding! It's very industrial, but as far as concert halls go, feels intimate. It's not stuffy and usually not so packed that you feel overwhelmed! Bar service is quick and you don't have to miss any of the show to re-up your brewski. They also serve tall-boys to prevent you having to make too many trips back to the bar. The most recent show I went to was Mini Kiss. It seems like most indie/pop/rock/country acts nowadays elect to play at Avondale Brewing instead of here. I do love Avondale Brewing, but it's nice to be indoors for a show every now and then. Security is tight here, which simultaneously makes me nervous and gives me peace of mind. The bathrooms seem newly renovated and were clean! They had a ton of stalls in the women's bathroom, so I'm sure lines move quick if there even is a line.

Yelp
I have been to this venue on two separate occasions. Most recently, I was here for the 40 under 40 event, where my husband was one of the honorees. I really like how this venue can be transformed into different vibes. Last year, I was here for the Lucky Daye concert and it was a completely different atmosphere. I had a great time on both occasions. Parking can be a little bit of a hassle when it comes to this venue so be prepared to potentially have a bit of a walk. Besides that, I like this venue

Yelp
Saw a concert here during a weeknight. Great venue. Easy to get in and out of. We were able to find free parking nearby. They have a bar where you can get pretty much anything. I appreciate that they had a cocktail menu. My drink was good. Pricey and didn't seem like there was much alcohol. Might want to stick to beer if that's your thing. I thought this was a great place to see a concert. We got there early and were able to snag a place at the railing where you are a little elevated and can see over everyone on the floor but are not very far from the stage. There are seats to the right of the stage and seats up above. Not sure what those cost but I imagine a good bit. We were happy to stand. There's a small area to buy merch. Service was good at the bar. Didn't have to wait long for a drink. They had plenty of people working. I would see a show here again.

Yelp
Concert for Key Glock was amazing! Great ambiance and drinks were on point with the server!

Yelp
Writing about the venue and not the acts sometimes is difficult. I am not sure which entity is responsible for the experience. We came to see Samantha Fish. My spouse follows her on social media and loves the blues. The concert started at 8. There was a warm up band as typical. To our disappointment, there was a second warm up band that was more of heavy metal, exceptionally loud and non-enjoyable. Frankly, if we didn't have ear buds, we would have left without seeing Samantha. She didn't come to the stage until 10 pm. she played for about an hour. We were disappointed by the concert.

Yelp
Free water. Air conditioning turned all the way up. Multiple levels for great views at the show. The price of a table is not it Iron City. To sit down it's $150 to $400 depending on the size of the table, plus the price of your ticket. No more benefits just a seat. I feel like I'm being charged a senior citizen tax. Other than that the venue is great, it honestly is the best small venue in Birmingham. I actually like it more than the BJCC.

Traci M.

Yelp
Great venue & nice vibe - enjoyed seeing big head Todd & the Monsters! We will be back!

Yelp
This is such a great venue!! Went to saw electric Avenue on a Saturday night. I highly recommend getting a table upstairs instead of being in the crowd. There is also a bartender located upstairs which is convenient. The band played the beat of the 80s. I hope they come back soon. I already have tickets to see rumours the fleetwood mac cover band in December

Yelp
Service was great. Food was fresh. I recommend the half chicken if you want something filling and priced fairly. Appetizers were really good. But overall most items had pork in them so if you're a vegetarian or Muslim your options are limited. Atmosphere and service is what brings this place up. Some of my friends complained about portion size not matching the hefty price. I was able to find parking. Our waitress was energetic and kind. Love the overall vibe and feel of the place. Liked the hotel and lobby.

Yelp
This was my first time seeing a concert in Birmingham and Iron City is the perfect venue for these smaller, general admission shows. Pretty easy to find and a good amount of parking in surrounding lots, despite it being a relatively small building. Even though it was standing room only, I noticed that it was small enough still to where you could probably get a good view just about wherever you are in the crowd. If there's another band or artist that I absolutely love performing here, I would probably make another trip from Nashville just come down and see them here.

Yelp
WITHOUT MUSIC LIFE WOULD B FLAT! Wow I am very impressed by this venue! There is something special about these smaller venues. I believe that these petite venues (compared to BJCC and other larger ones in the Birmingham area) are where the unknowns or not as popular headliner and bands get the chance to get discovered. Or at least start their journey to becoming more popular. Due to covid and other complications through the years I have not been to a concert in over six ish years. Crazy I know. So when I had seen online that Chvrches was going to be playing at Iron City and I was over the moon with excitement. I am not saying that Chrvches is not a well known band, but they are a little more under the radar then say Garth Brooks. When first arriving to the venue we had to wait outside. It was pretty hot out, but it was okay. When the line started moving they asked us to show our tickets and checked our Ids. Everyone was given a colorful wrist band. Each of the colors showed the difference between people who were of age to drink/buy liquor and those underage. After entering the building you are immediately hit with the air conditioning. Loved that this was an air conditioned venue. No one wants to be at an indoor concert that attracts a lot of people and the venue is hot. Ugh imagine that. There was a merchant table as soon as we came in and I came up with the idea to buy our concert merchandise before the show so then we are not stuck in some long ass line when the concert is over. My friend exclaimed that the bathrooms at the venue are "fancy" so of course we had to check those out. The hallway to the bathrooms are lit up so even when the lights are dimmed, you are able to see and be guided to the bathrooms. How wonderful is that? The first headliner of the show was alright. They exclaimed that this was their first tour ever. Not sure if anyone in the venue at the time knew who they were. But like I have said previously, these petite venues are where the smaller bands can eventually get discovered. You may need know who is in the sea of people and the crowd. I felt very safe in this venue. There was tons of security and bouncers around. Just in case anyone got a little too rowdy or aggressive. Even though nothing happened, in the case that something were to happen or go down, it would have been taken care of. The concert was so much fun and it was very enjoyable. I would love to come back to this venue and see other shows. There is plenty of space upstairs on the balcony as well as in the pit below. PRO TIP: IF YOU ARE SHORT LIKE ME, FIND A SPOT TO STAND CLOSE TO THE STAGE BUT ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE GROUND BAR. You will be able to see the whole concert and not have a problem being behind taller people.

Yelp
I've been to several weddings and events here and it's a great spot! Plenty of room for lots of people! Everything is alway clean and up to par. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Iron City is open at limited capacity, with general admission seating. Yes, chairs everywhere. The usual, sunken standing room only area is now filled with chairs. Upstairs in VIP, there were tables and chairs. I do not recall seeing anyone in a mask. Bathrooms were clean, and getting a drink was easy. My friend was drinking and kept saying, these drinks are strong! There's a gated smoking area to the left of the stage. The restaurant and extra bathrooms are off to the right. Todd Snider is a talented and entertaining musician and storyteller. Every song had a story. He talked and we laughed. He talked and we felt the loss of friends, family, and normalcy. He honored lives lost in 2020, including John Prine and his beloved dog. Show started around 9. He played 2 sets and finished around 10:30.

Yelp
Tried to call , email , dm on instagram simply about skip the line passes and I for 5 days did not get a single response from anyone

Yelp
What a great concert venue! Inside and wide open, with a large bar. We have seen a couple of shows here and will be back this year for a couple more. Their bar offers basic mixed drinks and beer, with super friendly bartenders who are on the spot.

Yelp
Great venue! Would definitely see other shows here. Was a busy crowd but nothing unexpected. Saw Orville Peck!

Yelp
As a music venue, this place is great. Super fast bar, great acoustics, and plenty of room- but still an intimate show. The grill is super nice. I'm regularly there for Beer & Hymns and lunches/dinners, and I've never had a bad experience. The burger is really good!

Yelp
I came to this location for concert like event The ambiance of this place is unreal! The historic feel with exposed bricks make the space feel grand yet cozy. The service of the staff at the bar was wonderful. The drinks were immaculate. I can't remember the guy name but he knew his drinks were slapppping (very tasty). I would recommend coming here for any event!

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! This place is a gem for sure! We are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary today, and wanted to go somewhere different. After checking the options here on Yelp, we settled on Iron City Birmingham. We parked on the 22nd Street side, and mistakenly tried to go in the doors for the concert area. The young lady pointed us around the corner to the restaurant entrance on the 6th Avenue side. Kris, our waitress, was extremely friendly. We had questions, she had answers. She shared what she liked the most from the menu, and we went with her recommendations. We came in hungry, so we started with the Fried Green Tomatoes topped with pimento cheese and pork belly. I am not a fried green tomato lover (in fact, I don't do tomatoes), but that appetizer was delicious. Crunchy, creamy, just wow. My husband went with the Iron Pork Tacos and I went with the Prime Rib Sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both of the meals looked tantalizing. I actually took a bite of his cup of street corn, and it was delicious. My husband loved his tacos and said he didn't need any of the Texas Pete hot sauce that Kris brought out. I thought my sandwich was incredible - moist and tender - and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crunchy, not oily at all. Kris came back with the dessert menu. We were both full, but got two slices of the gluten free White Russian Ice Cream cake to go. I am looking forward to diving into that for real. We even gave Kris inspiration when we shared our thoughts behind staying together for as long as we have. Thank you SO much, Iron City, for giving us a GREAT anniversary dinner! We will be back!

Yelp
I came to Iron City for a Wale concert. Other than standing in the cold to wait until doors opened... no complaints. Great venue... accommodating staff!

Yelp
I arrived around 4:45 pm and was seated immediately. Haley was our waitress and suggested everything we decided to eat. As soon as I was seated and waiting on my friend, I started with a drink called the Calvaret (sp?). I wanted something fruity, as usual, and this hit the spot. I have heard several good reviews about Iron City, so I wanted to check them out.I haven't seen my old neighbor since she moved, so we set up a girl's night out and decided to dine here. A young man who stopped by to check on us suggested that she try the Moscow Mule, which she liked. We had the Roasted Corn Crab dip as an appetizer. The dip was served with Pita Bread but she was hoping they were chips instead. It was still a great starter. I had the Iron City Pork Tacos, oh so delicious as the pork was very tender and the jalapenos gave it an extra kick. The tacos were served with a side of Street Corn Off the Cob, a great pairing. My friend had the Prime Rib Sandwich and the Crispy Sweet Potato Fries w/honey mustard. She enjoyed her meal as well, especially the fries and honey mustard. Overall a great dining experience. When we arrived there were not many people but once we headed out, it was a nice crowd at the tables as well as the bar. I would go again becasue of the food as well as the customer service. Haley rocked as well as the guy who suggested the drink for my friend and the two young ladies at the door who offered to refill our water and keeping the table clear from things we were no longer using.

Yelp
Great bar service, prices were a teeensy steep but it was honestly worth it for the ambience and service. Visited from ATL so it might just be me, but the security was a little too chillaxed for my liking. Just metal detector wands but only if deemed necessary... no bag checks either which I thought was extra odd - but it may be because my group and I had clear bags. Restrooms were clean and plentiful throughout the venue. Audio and lighting/visuals were GREAT for this little location. Overall, no major complaints, just surprised how laxed of a location it was!

Yelp
I came to the restaurant for an alumni event. The set up for the event worked well and service did not appear to be significantly affected due to the event. Once we chose seats, the server took drink orders and food order as soon as we were ready. I had a bowl of the Classic Cajun Gumbo with a small Caesar Salad side. The gumbo was good, not spectacular. The salad was pretty typical but good nonetheless. Upon returning I will be more likely to try some of the other entrees or sandwiches. I definitely want to try dessert.

Yelp
Great, clean venue. Great bar and bar service! Clean bathrooms! We love watching the Velcro Pygmies there!

Yelp
This was my second time eating at Iron City Bham grille and i went with some of my coworkers. I had the iron city noodle bowl with pork belly with a side of Brussel sprouts- (weird combination, I know) the noodle bowl was so delicious with the perfect amount of spice! However, the Brussel sprouts were a little over cooked to my liking but not terrible . The lunch crowd was typical of most places around noon but we were quickly seated and our drink orders were taken . The seevers were very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and were quick to make recommendations. Our food came out pretty fast so I'm very impressed and satisfied with this component. The atmosphere at iron city grill is really great, kinda has an industrial yet modern feel to it. Very nice!!! I highly recommend the iron city noodle bowl !! (with pork belly). Yummy yummy!!

Yelp
I paid $387.00 for Scarface concert tickets in 2022. The concert was cancelled and Iron City will not pay me a refund. I received an email in 2023 stating that my money would be refunded. It is now 2024 and I was just told that the refund window has closed. This is not a good way to do business. Feel like i was stolen from

Yelp
Wedding event - 02SEP2018. Spacious yet cozy, multiple levels, and dark venue perfect for a romantic, evening wedding reception. The entrance also had the perfect amount of space for 100 people for the ceremony. The staff and the event day coordinator were professional, courteous, and friendly. They directed traffic and kept the event organized, efficient, and without any hiccups. Backstage and VIP areas both have extremely nice bathrooms with showers. The catering was great. The salmon was cooked almost medium rare and the green beans were delicious. Both were mouth watering good and greasy. The appetizer area had plenty of fruits, cheese, and crackers. The open bar was nice. My favorite drink was their grapefruit juice, Sprite, and vodka.

E-boy S.

Yelp
All i know is I'm never going to Iron City again. i don't know whether the advertised headliner for which i bought the tickets months and months ago ever showed up. One opening act was ok but then some unannounced jerk-off came on and went on and on and on and on and on I finally had to leave so piss off Iron City I was going to recommend you to some bands but not now nor ever. Sorry.

Yelp
I've been to a couple concerts here now and really like everything these guys have to offer. Event Check In: Typically a line forms outside that wraps around the building (if you get there too early), but they are usually well equipped with staff to get people through the door pretty quickly. Have your ID ready as soon as they scan your ticket in they will do an ID check and give you a wrist band. Ticket scan is outside, once that is done entry is divided into a men's and women's line that takes you through a quick security check. Merchandise: As soon as you enter to the left is the space reserved for event merchandise. Usually a pretty good selection and price varies based on price point set by the artist. Bar: Located straight in front of you when you walk in. Large wrap around bar that has 6+ bartenders taking care of everyone. From water and soft drinks to beer and mixed drinks. Prices are not unreasonable considering the venue and typical prices you pay at other locations (sporting events or concerts). Venue: Downstairs has been general admission to all of the events I have attended and standing location is based on a first come first serve basis. Have been able to get really close to the stage for all the events, but that being said there really isn't a bad spot to stand in the place. The upstairs has been reserved for VIP entrance and does have seating. Good overlook of the stage, but is all located behind the GA area. Staff: Does a great job of making sure everyone feels safe and monitors the area on a regular basis. Will definitely be returning to watch more event here! Highly recommend! Now I just need to get there and try some food sometime...soon!

Yelp
Sports bar atmosphere but don't be fooled- the food and service are five star! I had a perfectly cooked and seasoned salmon entree. My husband enjoyed the wonderful southwestern shrinp and grits. Another member of our party had pork tacos with street corn which she said was scrumptious! And while you are eating, you get to enjoy the giant TV that covers the entire wall! Great place for relaxing with an unpretentious atmosphere and exceptional food! I definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Their grill is a hidden gem! The food is always good, the service is friendly and the perfect amount which can be hard to find. Also, I love their big screen. I do want to say a huge "thank you" to the waiters at Iron City Grill. They do not continue to bother you when your watching "the big game." At so many places the waiters can be way too persistent!!
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
Five starts for a flawless special event. I heard about this place through a recommendation in the Yelp Talk threads. Iron City had a Superbowl party set up. All-you-can-eat buffet with the kinds of food you would expect for a football game party - burgers and hot dogs and bratwurst and chicken wings and nachos and cheese sauce. A massive screen showed the game and they only broke in twice during the (lame) commercials to make announcements. Lots of tables, all set up so that you could kick back, eat your fill, drink all the beer you wanted to purchase, and watch the game. Loved it!

Yelp
Iron City is an awesome restaurant/bar as well as live concert venue. I've only visited the restaurant/bar portion but have always had a great experience with the staff, food, drinks and general service they have. It's a great place to watch the game as well, since they have plenty of TVs and overhead sound system. For the food, their sandwiches are pretty much to die for. I'd recommend the prime rib sandwich or the Cuban, and be sure to get them with sweet potato waffle fries. Drinks are also pretty much on point. They have a great selection of cocktails and liquors to serve up whatever you're interested in. About a dozen local craft beers are on tap as well as plenty of additional beers available in bottles or cans. Service was exceptional both times I visited. I believe the proprietors / managers were there and made sure to check in in me and my party both times. All around, I'll be coming back again and again and hope to make a live show in the future!

Yelp
Took my mom to the Montgomery Gentry show... and had dinner next door at the grill. I have to say their fried chicken was delicious, juicy (sometimes hard with a boneless breast) flavorful, and the crust was crunchy . The greens were well seasoned.. most times they're either over or under seasoned, but at the grill someone is using momma's recipe because they were soil touching. We had the wings with the Dijon mustard sauce (crispy and done to perfection but not dry) I had the grits and blackened chicken (it's not on the menu, but shrimp isn't my first choice) and it too was awesome. The grits were completely cooked and weren't lumpy. It was rather busy (It was concert night after all) but our server kept the timing just right for our meal, and we made it into the venu with enough time to relax, get a CD, and buy a beer before the show started.
google avatar

Alana R.

Yelp
As a future resident of Alabama, I am constantly visiting and trying different restaurants. The shrimp and grits have landed this as my number 1 place. They use Gulf shrimp, Poblano Peppers, Caramelized Onions and Crispy Conecuh Sausage spooned over Cheddar Grits with Roasted Red Pepper Cream sauce to finish it off. There are so many layers to the flavor that I am completely entranced while eating. For the dessert, I chose the pecan sticky bread. Let's just say I was beyond disappointed. It was served ice cold and would not pull apart. It even came in a cast iron skillet, this gave the impression that it would be warm.

Yelp
Came here after work for an early dinner. The place was not full which was expected given the time and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was nice but aloof. They have several beers on draft from local breweries which was definitely a nice touch. I had the pork belly sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was tasty and the sweet potato fries seemed like the frozen kind. My husband ordered the southern fried chicken which he absolutely loved. The chicken was moist (I hate that word) and flavorful. Overall, I would have given it just a 3 for the food alone but decided on a 4 based on it being great as a casual place to get decent food and a good beer.

Yelp
I've had both amazing and so so experiences here. Sometimes it really just depends on the act. As for the venue, it's pretty medium sized. Good size for concerts or weddings and can probably comfortably accommodate 250-300 people . The bar is in the middle with reasonably priced drinks. They have a grill on the other side of their venue with fairly decent food and hosted one of my class reunions. I think they also serve lunch and dinner on a regular basis. And Chippendale's dancers. If you're into that.
google avatar

Mandy W.

Yelp
I always enjoy a meal at Iron City. The "farm to table" restaurant brings in produce from local farms and seafood from the gulf coast. The southern-fried boneless chicken breast is so good; although it is rather expensive at $17, especially for lunch. It is served with mashed potatoes and greens. I've also tried the prime rib sandwich, which was good. Service is usually prompt. This is a great spot to have a business lunch!

Yelp
My first experience here was during the DNC Pitch Party in the summer of 2014. I thought that it was a cool venue; something unique for the city. I'm not into the concert scene for real, but I figured for those that were, Iron City was what they were looking for. This past week, my date and I decided to watch the Alabama vs. Michigan St. game here. Upon arriving, the place was packed with eager fans and NYE revelers. The hostess couldn't tell us when a table would be ready, but took our cell phone numbers to call us when one became available. We decided to get a couple of drinks from the bar and stand around until we were called for a table. However, seats became available so we sat down . I ordered the orange creamsicle and my date ordered the blueberry lemonade. We both agreed that the drinks were fabulous . My orange creamsicle tasted just like an old school orange creamsicle Popsicle. I couldn't taste the alcohol in it...which was great for me because I'm not much of a drinker. Food wise, I ordered the club without tomatoes. My date ordered the hot wings. We split a plate of house made Bistro fries ( fresh cut fries topped with garlic and Parmesan). My date said the wings were some of the best he had ever eaten. He said they were smoked and seasoned to perfection. I was satisfied with my club sandwich, and the fries were very well prepared, crunchy and the toppings added a special yummy uniqueness. The place was electrified with Tide fans. We were called within 12 minutes for our table. But we opted for staying at the bar. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Iron City and we will return in the future.

Yelp
Iron City is a great place for concerts in Birmingham. I've been here 2-3 times now, and it's always been fun. They have a great sound system, and they make sure to bring in bands that people love - every band I've seen play there has been phenomenal and has topped the last show. I've never eaten at the grill, but I hear it is surprisingly good. Bartenders were nice and knowledgeable, and they have a great variety/selection. The only downside to Iron City is that there isn't much seating, so if you can't stand for longer shows, for whatever reason, then you have to be one of the first ones in the door, or pay a nice fee to reserve a table.

Sophie D.

Yelp
advertised as air conditioned but during a concert you can't tell. it was so hot and packed inside the venue someone passed. security tried passing out water bottles but only the first few rows in the pit got them. if you go to a concert here i'd recommend standing on the elevated platform next to the bar instead of the pit.

I was skeptical. The place is huge. I didn't think I would fit in as I am not a very good pool player. Turns out there are PLENTY of people in there that want to help! I have never came across a more down to earth group of people. Staff included! Especially staff. They have 7' & 9' diamond tables. House ques are straight and kept in excellent condition! My #1 Favorite place to play

Yelp
I came here due to the strong reviews. I had a great time as I was with my kid :) but the menu was sparse, we got wings t start, they were bland, fatty and definitely not worth even half the price. We were seated in a table in front in the aisle even though we said we preferred out of the way. It was totally bland and non interesting place

Yelp
You know it's going to be a good place when you need 15 minutes to decide between all the things you want to order! A friend picked out this location since she knows I love local favorites. I ended up going with the ramen and it did not disappoint. So many flavors, add-ins, and toppings. The broth and ramen themselves were wonderful but adding in the pickled onions and poached egg made it event better. The side of sweet potato fries were also a great addition. I went with a friend that has a good amount of allergies and they were easily able to accommodate her. Which is always appreciated! The spot was surprisingly empty for a Friday night. More people need to take advantage of this spot! Great parking, good spot downtown, and it's got their concert venue right next door. Good amount of beers on top and big drink menu. Great for a group of friends needing a spot that will please many appetites.

Yelp
I have come to this place twice and have enjoyed it both times. Came after lunch hour rush, which did not seem busy but did take a while to get our food. We tried eating quick but eventually had to request a to go box because we had to go back being our lunch hour. I had their special burger and fries but substitute the fries with sweet potato fries and absolutely love it. The burgers was juicy and flavorful and the fries seasoning was on point. I would definitely recommend to give it a try but try to go when you have plenty of time on hands to enjoy it.

Yelp
Arguably one of the best burgers I've had in Birmingham. Also arguably the best French fries in town
