What a lovely little spot! Ice cold beer and one of the best toasted bacon and egg sandwiches I have ever had! Thank you also for the prompt and friendly service!

The food is incredible! Pot pie is our favourite. Prices are reasonable. Vibe is always great.

If you visit Heanetsburg and enjoy a good salad head over here for their Mountain Salad. Absolutely amazing. Thanks guys.

Nothing wrong with the service ( she could be a bit more friendly) and atmosphere. But the food is not great. We ordered the famous burger, it was terrible, from the patty to the cheese ( which was like hard pan fried for some unknown reason, it just did not work flavour wise as well. Some of the table had the Canadian and Texas burger. Seemed a bit better but the beef patties are so dry and flavourless. My mother’s steak was a bit better but needed some spice. A sauce would have helped but it is on us.

Great place in Haenertsburg. A must visit. Good food and great atmosphere. Grilled trout and veg was tops. 3rd time there.

We sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Service is not bad. Food is reasonably priced. The hamburgers are phenomenal and definitely worth it. Excellent Gin options available.

Fun pub with friendly owners, clearly well used and loved by the local community. Attentive service and a few locals stopped to chat to us. Two beers on draught: Castle Lite and Carling Black Label. Some of the locals would hop behind the bar to get their own drinks, and there was a general wild west saloon feel to the place. A fun way to spend some time in the country.
