I enjoyed excellent vegetable curry, the warm and cosy atmosphere and great service. Looking forward to next visit and try the veggie burger. Thank you for delicious vegan options on the menu!🪴💕😋

Fun pub with friendly owners, clearly well used and loved by the local community. Attentive service and a few locals stopped to chat to us. Two beers on draught: Castle Lite and Carling Black Label. Some of the locals would hop behind the bar to get their own drinks, and there was a general wild west saloon feel to the place. A fun way to spend some time in the country.

We sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Service is not bad. Food is reasonably priced. The hamburgers are phenomenal and definitely worth it. Excellent Gin options available.

Full score for this establishment with a fresh look on burgers. You must try the unique Haenertsburger. The Tennessee burger looks and tastes amazing. A must stop when in Magoebaskloof area. Great atmosphere. Plenty space but very popular so on weekends and busy days over meal times you may not get a seat. Will see us again.

What a lovely spot. We sat outside, but take a walk through the bar area. There is an interesting bell hanging from the wall. The owner was friendly and we felt very welcome. The ladies who served us were amazing at recommending what to have and very engaging. Their burgers are incredible. Come hungry. The salad was delish with great fresh ingredients. All in all, a refreshing stop and great experience. We’ll be be back.

It's a really good pub. The burgers are HUGE and great value for money. There are even kids items on the menu, but that does not really make them kid friendly. Too many smoking sections and no place to sit outside unless you smoke. Also steer clear of this place of you have any food allergies as the waiters are not even sure what gluten is. This is very common in South Africa though so not a big deal. Ordered a small plate of chips and bacon for my 3 year old and the portion was so big I would not have been able to finish it.

Iron Crown is a special place. The ambiance is a bit cold and the setup is that of a medieval restaurant almost like something you would find on a game of thrones set. The atmosphere was just harsh and none of us were able to finish our food. The fries were horrible, We weren’t offered any salad dressing, the drinks came loaded with tons of ice, the restaurant owner seemed a bit uncomfortable with our presence. It was an overall poor experience.

We had excellent food - pot pie and grilled hake. Leo behind the bar was a pleasure. Really enjoyed our evening even though it was very quiet.
