They do have a great pen, pencil, stationary selection. And their single folded cards are unique. I was on the hunt for wedding thank you cards and ended up buying their yellow thank you card set. The problem is that the envelope is transparent and you can read the card through the envelope. Simple trick I was advised from the shop would be to buy a darker envelope or a folded card, but why even sell something that is clearly flawed or just cheap. I wasn't able to return it because I had already written on one card, but I'm not really able to use any of these in a serious manner.
The whole point of a handwritten thank you card is that you're going the extra mile of respect, consideration and effort. And the point of an envelope is like any other gift wrapping; it's decorative, it's part of the presentation and at the very least should offer privacy. I found it all a bit bizarre, even surprised at my own passion for high quality envelopes (or rather at the absence of standard quality envelopes). They have such good taste in everything else and I want to support a local business. Main point, I hope they improve the quality of their envelopes so they're not see through.
