Iron Mountain Hot Springs

This is the best way to spend the day in Glenwood! With numerous pools there was ample space for everyone. Food and drinks available- decent, but nothing fancy. If you have a day pass you can leave and reenter as you desire which is highly convenient. No charge for towels and use as many as you need. On the day we were there 2 eagles were hanging out by the river which was an added bonus!

This was a nice place! Loved all the Mountain View’s. We came on a really cool day when it was snowing so it was absolutely beautiful. And the hot tubs were perfect, loved all the temperature variety. Would definitely recommend

I visited Iron Mountain Springs on a Tuesday and it was honestly one of the most magical experiences of my life. We bought our tickets online ahead of time and signed the waiver before arriving, which made getting in super quick and easy. The locker rooms were quiet, clean, and felt really well taken care of. The whole place had a calm, peaceful vibe and it never felt crowded or overwhelming. There were well over a dozen geothermal pools, all at different temperatures, so it was easy to find one that felt perfect. A lot of the pools had little QR code badges built into the tile along the edge, so you could order drinks or snacks right from the water and have them brought to you. It felt like the kind of thoughtful detail that makes the whole experience feel special. The views were breathtaking. The springs overlook a serene lake with gorgeous mountains all around. Sitting in warm water with cool air on my face (and snowflakes!!!)the scenery around me felt almost unreal. I absolutely loved my time at Iron Mountain Springs and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and unforgettable experience.

Wow amazing Hot spring pools along the river. Ranging from 90f-109f with 31 pools in all. On site food and drink. About 12 pools are 21 and older only. Very clean, great staff, nice locker rooms/showers. Beautiful scenery! Saw a bald eagle fly right past us going down the river.

You won’t like the distinct smell at the parking lot but you will love to be inside with many spas to choose from. I came to the site of 21 and above. You can borrow the towel and/or pay extra to rent the robe. Bring your sandal or enjoy walking in barefoot, try the cold plunge of 55 degrees and enjoy the warmer spas to your liking. I just wish they have sauna around to add in my day but the bar servers some drink if you are thirsty. I will definitely go back if I can

Had an awesome experience here! It was our first time. Me and my friends booked a 3hr soak time. We requested to move our reservation by 30mins since we were running late and the front desk was quick to accommodate that! There was a large selection of pools with different temperatures. My favorite one was Topaz which had pebbles at its bottom. The look of the mountain with the Colorado river is a sight to behold. ❤️ They have plenty of locker rooms, changing rooms, bathrooms, hydration station everything well maintained. They have life guards on duty. Every guest gets 2 complimentary towels. There were lots of folks but the place didn’t feel crowded. Would surely recommend visiting this place.

Phenomenal experience! Go to the mountains, be inspired…go soak, and be refreshed! We got the full day pass and had no trouble enjoying the place from about 2:00 pm until almost 9:00. Snow was bad at Vail so we dropped a ski day and added a soak day one hour west. Worth. Pools for everyone, different temps, different mineral composition, lockers and towels included, robes to rent, and good food and drinks available onsite!

Undoubtedly one of the best places I’ve been in a while. I loved the no-child section of the hot springs with the around the world baths. The location was beautiful and right on the Colorado river. I would highly recommend bringing your own robe because it can get very chilly walking from pool to pool. You can rent a robe if needed, but they are thin. I also thought it would cool you could order drinks and snacks right to the pool you were at. I could easily spend a whole day here.

We initially debated making the 2.5-hour drive from Denver to Ironwoods Hot Springs, but it turned out to be completely worth it! This destination offers an experience like no other. While we chose to buy our tickets at the front desk, you can conveniently reserve them online to secure your preferred time slot. There are two options for entry: a general admission package and the World Springs adults-only option (slightly more expensive). Both have a three-hour time limit, which we found to be more than enough to fully enjoy the experience. We opted for the World Springs package, which granted us access to all 32 pools. The changing facilities were clean and well-maintained, offering both public and private dressing areas, along with showers, restrooms, and lockers for storage. The cleanliness of the space was much appreciated. The pools themselves offered a mix of man-made and mineral options, providing plenty of variety to explore. Although two towels are provided, I highly recommend bringing a robe for added comfort while moving between pools. You have the option to rent one, if you forget. The stunning views and relaxing waters were truly unforgettable. There's also a small restaurant and bar where you can place orders directly from the springs and pick them up when ready. I tried the artichoke dip bread bowl and spiked coffee, and they were delicious--a perfect complement to the experience. If you're considering a visit, don't hesitate--it's a unique and rejuvenating getaway that's well worth the trip!

Iron Mountain Hot Springs is gorgeous and relaxing. We visited in May 2024 and opted for a ticket that included the adult area as well as the all-comers pools, but the park wasn't crowded at all and we didn't see any kids. The locker rooms are modern and clean and everyone is considerate. We also tried drinks from the adult area concession stand, and they were delicious and strong. The drinks come in a tin cup which keeps them cold longer, and we kept the cups as a souvenir. The pools themselves are amazing and warm. We made a point to try all of them and we did- at least the hot ones. I didn't try the cold plunge but that's an option if you're brave.

There are two hot springs resorts in Glenwood-- we chose this one because it was connected with the amusement park and had a little discount if we bought it together. The resort has 16 mineral pools in varying temperatures and one big fresh water pool. There is another section- adults only- that is an extra charge. That section has 11 more mineral pools -designed to replicate hot springs from around the world You must reserve a 3 hr window on the day you choose. It does not have to be the same day you go to the amusement park. You get a Band put on your wrist when u arrive and they call out your color band when the 3hrs is done. It was colder temps outside so these hot mineral pools were quite welcoming. This was our 1st try at going to mineral springs/pools and I really enjoyed it. I can see why it's so popular. It is kinda pricey but since we had never tried so we thought it would be a nice splurge. Definitely recommend adding it to your Itinerary for Glenwood Springs.

There were two major attractions that the little town in Glenwood Springs were known for: the mountain top adventure park and hot mineral springs. There are two mineral springs resorts to choose from and we chose this one. We actually toured both. The other one u can stay all day. This one you have to reserve a 3hr time slot. It's also associated with the Adventure park in some way so they offered a package deal. We were surprised at how many different "hot tubs" there were and the temps varied up to 103! They don't bubble like a hot tub, u just soak in the minerals. Very relaxing.  3hrs was more than enough time to relax and unwind.

I've been here twice now and both times it was great. There are a ton of pools and space for everyone. You have to get close to other people sometimes but it's not bad. It's fun to go to a commercialized hot spring like this sometimes because there's a bar, towels, anda locker room. The first time I went, I thought the showers were great! The second time it was so crowded it felt less spa like. I think you can anticipate that this place is always going to be busy. It kind of sucks that your time slot is so limited whereas other Hot Springs may allow you to stay all day. Both times I did not upgrade to the additional pools, I feel like the standard experience is worth the money and still provides ample pools to choose from. The best pools are the ones with rocks on the bottom! I wish all the pools had them.

We did the all day pass to the springs. We rented robes. The limitless towels and being able to return was worth it. The vibe was nice with spa music playing. The 21+ area has stones on all the bottoms of the pools.

Iron Mountain is a must stop if you are in Glenwood Springs. The staff is always great. The pools are amazing and the view is great. Highly recommended!

21+ section added in 2023 the new section has 11 country theme pools plus a cold plunge tub. My favorite was Bali at exactly 100 degrees. Book online for 3 hour slots peak holiday pricing was around $60 per upgrade to world Springs 100%.

We celebrated a relaxing spa day for the bride to be who couldn't have been more in her element than she was in these special mineral hot springs. She is an educator on crystals and minerals and she was in heaven. What an amazing property overlooking the beautiful snowy mountains. Thank you so much for the memories and a wonderful experience that we had. I will definitely recommend this place to anybody visiting the Denver, Glenwood, Vail area.

This used to be my favorite hot springs, until the prices went up and the time-slots got significantly shorter. I miss the days of the all day soaks for $20-something, and now it is nearly double or triple that price for a limited 3 hour soak. I forked over the exorbitant entry fee because my friend wanted to check out the new world springs, which were in fact very nice! I don't think I would pay that much money for such a time-limited Hot Springs experience again though. It was fun to check out the pools modeled after famous Hot Springs from around the world. I didn't like feeling rushed to check out all the various pools, it would be nice to be able to soak all day like before, especially now that the number of pools has doubled. Having an adult only space was a nice upgrade though. If this were an all day soak at $60-something, I think it just might be worth the price but paying over $20 an hour is ridiculous.

$98 something dollars for 2 adults. For us, We did not enjoy it at all. )'; only stayed there for less than 30min. Booked a reservation at 8:30pm. The water was extremely dirty and smells like sewage. It has a lot of small circular tub with different temperature. The view is facing the train, small buildings, mountain and a river where you have to get up just to see it. They only give you 1 bath towel per person because they said they don't have enough. So if your towel is soaking wet, you just have to suck it up. I think they hype the advertisement for this place too much. We felt we wasted money on this place. #honestreview

I was heading to Glenwood Springs spa and, confused by the directions, ended up here instead. Thankfully. Iron Mountain Hot Springs is a gift and a treat. And what luck -- an entire adult-only section with more than one dozen additional pools recently opened as an expansion to the family-side section. So there is something for everyone: family, small children, solo visitors and couples looking for a romantic getaway. What to know: Bring everything you need: A bathing suit, shoes, a change of clothing, lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner, brushes and combs, razors, a robe, etc. The spa does offer body wash, shampoo and conditioner and towels, but you may simply want to pack in for personal preference and comfort. Robes are also offered for purchase (not rental). I highly suggest bringing your own reusable water bottle, and there are stations to refill. Also, bring your identification. You will be provided a locker, and there is a spinner with plastic bags for bathing suits after you soak. Costs are readily displayed on the website. The springs are open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. -- but be attentive. There are temporarily closures seemingly multiple times each year when the springs are closed for maintenance work and cleaning. Be sure to check the website before your trip. General access for three hours with access to the family section is up to $52. For access to all pools, you will be paying at least $59 -- and cost varies depending on the amount of time you want to stay and whether it is the weekend or a holiday. It can cost up to $150 per person for the full day for admission alone. It goes without saying, but will say it anyway: use the restroom before you enter the springs. It also goes without saying: pay attention to yourself and your needs. Some of the pools are nearly 110 degrees, which is extremely hot. Be sure to drink lots of water to stay hydrated, eat at least some snacks (before and during your visit) and try different pools. I found that the pools at about 98 degrees were the most relaxing, and I could sit in those for an hour without feeling any level of distress (but also while staying hydrated). If you are not coming with children, I strongly recommend going with the pass that allows access to all 32 pools. You will not want to miss the 21+ section. There, you will have access to pools inspired by the Dead Sea, the Blue Lagoon and Hokkaido. One of the pulls has waterfalls. And there is a cold plunge. Note that individual pools are not private, and are shared. I found that the majority of guests were very respectful and quiet, which made my trips just wonderful. You will periodically smell an egg-like scent -- this is completely normal at mineral springs. Some pools are stronger than others. There are also food and drinks for purchase, including alcoholic beverages (to my surprise), at the Sopris Café and the Sandbar Café. Prices are reasonable for a spa and nachos (with barbecue pork burnt ends -- delicious), a falafel bowl, garlic hummus, flatbread (the fig & prosciutto sounded good, but I did not try it), sandwiches, bagels, charcuterie, fresh fruits, smoked trout (this seems very popular), chips, crackers, salads, desserts, soda, smoothies, juices, beer, cocktails (think margarita and whisky), mocktails and wine (in cans). You will find QR codes at some of the pools allowing you to make your order online and to receive a notification once ready. There are seats and tables throughout to enjoy your meals as well. If you are there for a 3-hour soak, you should be attentive to the color of your wristband. There will be an announcement about 10 minutes before departure time to let you know that it is your time to exist. Trust, that will be a very sad announcement to hear.

I've been to Iron Mountain once in 2019, before they added the adult area. I can say Iron Mountain was great before but now it's even better! The adults only area (WorldSprings) has 13 new pools to check out. It is totally worth the upgrade fee. I found it to be quieter and less busy. There are Hot Springs inspired by natural wonders all over the world, such as hot Springs from Japan, Korea, Brazil, and more. My favorite was the large The Dead Sea, Israel pool. It was perfect temp (not too hot) and I felt so relaxed and I noticed the mineral benefit right away. The adults only snack bar offers a larger selection of drinks and adults only snacks, such as charcuterie, hummus, flatbread, curry chicken salad, and more. They have wine, beer, cocktails and N/A mocktails. You can even order from your phone while in the pool and you'll get a text when food is ready. Locker rooms are spacious and there is soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers. Plenty of changing rooms and restrooms. You even get free towels at Iron Mountain. What didn't they think of?! This continues to be my favorite hot spring in Colorado!

Reserve a slot for party of 5 with upgrade to adult session Worldsprings with the 13 pools mimicking the hot spring waters of the world $67 Weekends and holidays. Steep price for 3 hours. When we checked in 1 hour after the start time, they offered to move to the next slot. Good service. The pools are small with gravel bottom, facing the river, mountain and freeway. View is spectacular in the morning when the sun is shining the majestic red mountain. The temperature of each pools are different and posted at each sign, or accessed using your phone. I loved to stay in the Dead Sea pool after experiencing all others including the cold plunge one. The change room is big and provides free locker and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Hair dryers and suit dryer too. When you walk out get a towel, you can get new one if needed. There are hangers tree right next to each pool so you can bring the towel along. You can order drink and alcohol from the pool as you wish or walking up the sandbar for a break. We all have a good time.

What a beautiful hot springs. My muscles are feeling so good after the 3 hr soak. I throughly enjoy my time here. Feeling relaxed and comfortable now. Not a sore muscle or bone in my body! If I lived near I would come here every day!!!

With the newly renovated 21 & over only hot spring pools, the mellow music and spectacular river views make soaking in the Colorado Iron Mountain Hot Springs Resort a relaxing and healing experience. The enhancements to the layout take you on a journey of the senses. Service at the towel station is friendly and if you ask, you can get two towels instead of one. Tip: You can purchase a nice thick embroidered robe at the front desk, where other swag with the Iron Mountain Hots Springs logo. However, for the budget conscious customers like me, order a not as thick or embroidered robe on Amazon for $26.00 one day delivery here in Colorado, works just fine. The snack bar has a variety of snacks to munch on and plenty of local and international adult beverages. I like the local Colorado beer with smoked trout to munch on as I soak! It's a bit pricey but they do offer a Military Discount on food and beverages with ID. This epic soak is a must do when in Colorado! Five Fabulous Stars just for the natural beauty, feel and experience basking in the Rocky Mountains!

I came from the east coast to enjoy the hot springs of Colorado. Came with my family to iron mountain hot springs as part of the Glenwood adventure park package. Came on a weekday at the 3 pm slot to beat the noonday heat. I was impressed by the facilities, which has a very clean spa like feel. Lockers were available on premise but can be a little tricky to use at first. There were many pools to soak in and even signs for which ones had a gazebo to shade you from the mountain sun. I noticed that water clarity varies with the hotter pools being more clear. It was pretty easy to spend 3 hrs here and loved the shampoo and condition and body wash in the showers. Every guest gets two towels. Was a nice way to relax on a trip.

The best spot in town to go to and escape the hustle and bustle! Came here for my birthday celebration and really wanted quite relaxing time. That's when the staff told us about the 21 and up zone. We all paid the up-charge of being in a quiet area and enjoyed the pools from around the world. The cold plunge pool was a really nice to jump into. This area was limited to how long you can stay in there for. But they do got food and drink options there so you don't have to leave the 21 and up zone to get something delicious. Now for the regular area. It's filled with families and kinda smelled like pee more than just the regular pool. It was also not as relaxing having some splash around in the small pools that can have a max of 4 people in there. Honestly I was surprised that kids under 3 were allowed to be in such hot pools. The staff was friendly and the parking lot was big. The bathrooms/change rooms also provided shampoo and body wash. Will definitely be coming back!

Love this place!!!! It was a quick check-in, everything you needed is in their storefront so don't fret if you forgot anything. Changing/showers wasn't as chaotic as I thought. Easy check-in. They have cute swimwear which my daughter forgot to pack. There were plenty of pools/ temperatures to choose from but we upgraded anyways and the experience leveled up. I highly suggest the all pool access, so worth it! We had a lot of fun doing the cold plunge challenge. Love this experience overall

This hot springs location in Glenwood Springs is an absolute gem! With numerous pools of varying temperatures, including an adults-only section and a family-friendly pool, it's incredibly well run. Admission covers everything you need--towels, lockers, and showers with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They even provide plastic bags for your wet bathing suits! It's super easy to find, right off Interstate 70. I highly recommend bringing a dry change of clothes and a hairbrush so you can freshen up after your soak. The pools are beautifully designed, with calming music in the background and a stunning view of the river. We got there around 5pm and got to see a gorgeous sunset. We didn't try any of the food but they do offer quick service and table service meals. Parking is free and there's plenty of parking spaces. Overall, we had a fantastic relaxing time, and the hot springs are a definite must-do!

Absolutely STUNNING! We went right at 9 AM and spent a little over 2 hours there. There are a lot of pools to choose from especially with the adult add on (which I highly recommend!). Going early in the day seemed to mean it was less busy, but it definitely started picking up around 11-noon on a Sunday. The views of the river are beautiful and everyone was super nice! After we finished we used the showers they have (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included!) and it was all really clean and easy to manage. There are QR codes everywhere for you to scan if you wanted to get something to eat or a fun drink. They also have lockers for you to add your bag/change of clothes/etc, and a little station where they hand you full sized towels. I really don't think you need to bring much besides sunscreen, body lotion, and a change of clothes for after your shower. Overall, if you find yourself in the area, I would HIGHLY recommend!

I loved this experience soo much !! I bought the world Spa for my family and I, which is four in total and it cost about $395 for 3 hours and I would say this was such a deal for what you experience here. Make sure to arrive at your scheduled time because your time will start on the time you payed for it to start and if you come late you can pay for additional time. The service here was amazing and the guest here are super sweet as well. As soon as they give you a wristband go to the bathroom to change then go outside to the towel station to receive one free towel when you arrive and one when you leave they give you another towel. Both towels are for you to use there and return when you leave. I started with the left side of the hot springs which is the world man made springs which are my favorite and once I was done I went to the right side of the springs which is natural springs. Each hot springs has a description on the name and the temp of the water. I really liked the description of the world one because it tells you the health benefits for each location. I stayed for the whole three hours and it was super worth it. When I got there I ordered a burnt end nachos and a smoothie. The nachos is good for two people not for four. My favorite hot spring is the ice land and the Dead Sea. Once your time is up the staff will call on the PA for your color wrist band. The showers are super clean and supply body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There is even a machine that dries your bathing suit. I wish I lived here because I would have purchased the Annual pass. I loved this place sooo much and I want to go back.

Check in was easy. Locker rooms were nice. Lots of different pools all with a great view of the river and the mountains. Decent menu for drinks and snacks. Cocktails could be better. And adding delivery to your pool would be a good add. We had a great time!

Great place, beautiful view; there are many different pools. When we came not to many people, it was cold and there was snowfalls, beautiful. There is cafetaria to sell pizza and hot choco. The bathroom and changing room are very clean. You can wash your swiming suit and there is a small spinner so the water will be drained. It was a great experience to be at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Tips: you may wear your cami and - stretch short, after that you may want to throw it away, becaue the sulfur's smell is hard to get rid off. Oh well.

I had a blast at the hot springs with my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. We opted for the World Springs access and we ended up staying in that area the entire time. We love all of the different pools and how they were themed to different areas of the world. I also like that the bottom of the pools were pebbles. We did happen to go on a crowded weekend so the pools were pretty packed but we still had a great relaxing time. I think the quality of the pools were incredible. The service of the front desk people was incredible. I loved that we got 2 towels. My only regret is I wish I had purchased the robe. It was very cold pool hopping.

My husband was working in Glenwood Springs so I came along to enjoy the hot springs. I usually go to the regular Glenwood Hot Springs pool for a day and then do the Iron Mountain hot springs on another day. As I searched on the internet I realized Iron Mountain added eleven pools that mimic famous hot springs around the world. Not in appearance, but in mineral concentration. I was excited to try it out. When I went to make my reservation, the only time slot available was 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on a Friday. So that's what I chose. I guess the prices vary based on the time of day you choose. I paid $59 ($61 after fees). This fee includes all the older pools as well as the brand new World Experience pools. *My husband talked to the owner and it sounds like these World Experience pools are going to be built across the country. One opens up in Dallas next month. I arrived a little before 9 a.m. and was asked to step back into the foyer. They had heaters there in case it was cold. A bunch of folks showed up at once. When they opened the door, everyone crowded in, but luckily they announced four registers were open. They had us all checked in with seconds. They scanned my phone, had me sign a waiver, and then explained the process. Even though I had been here before, I needed the refresher. I was given a color-coded wrist band. The lockers open and shut easily with a wave of your wrist band. I had purchased a $20 men's waffle robe at the local Walmart, but they did have robes for sale. They are a little bit cheaper if you order them on the website when you buy your ticket. I would recommend everyone come with a knit cap and a robe, and maybe even sandals, especially in the winter. I had a Bogg tote with me, so I could carry my phone, and towel that was included at the station outside by the pools. I think you get two, but they only handed me one. The new area is called World Experience. It has a secured gate you have to pass through and it's only for adults (21 and over). There was only one other couple. So we had all ten or eleven pools to ourselves for at least 45 minutes. Gradually it became more crowded. It was nice to experience the silence. I floated around, read the concentration of minerals, what the benefits were, and watched the ducks and geese gather on the river below. It's the perfect setting! Later, I was in a pool with a bunch of ladies from Meeker. We talked about what they love about their hometown. Everyone in all of the pools seemed very friendly. Some wanted to visit and others wanted to be quiet. You could generally tell. The conversations came easily because you could ask if folks had ever been to hot springs around the world. People wanted to visit about their jobs, tattoos, travel, Colorado, etc. I stayed in some pools for five minutes, and others for 40 minutes. One pool was murky and red, I think due to the high iron concentrate. The Blue Lagoon pool was clear blue. The temperatures were all different: 98 - 104 range. There was a cold plunge pool that I think everyone should try out, even if you stick your ankles in. It had a second hand timer. I think my favorite was the long Dead Sea concentration pool with waterfalls. You became boyoant and float on top, just like at the real Dead Sea (but it's not slick and greasy like the real thing). I think every pool had small pebbles that feel good on your feet. I didn't notice any sulphur smell that others have mentioned. Everything was very clean. Bathrooms were close by. Two unisex ones. Clean and well supplied. The food/drink place was great. Of course it's not a fancy sit-down restaurant, but the fare looked delightful. There were a few dozen alcohol choices. Everything from chocolate shake type drinks, to wine and beer. I chose the warm spicy sangria. It was perfect for a cold morning. I do think the pools are beneficial for joints, skin, arthritis, blood pressure, etc. but don't know enough about the medical aspects. One thing I noticed is how clear headed I felt after I got out, but I also felt a little jittery. I don't know if anyone else experiences this. The locker rooms were very clean. There was lots of space to shower, dressing rooms for privacy if you need, a spinner to dry out your suit, hair dryers, a large counter to set your makeup on, large benches in the changing area, big mirrors, lovely natural stone showers with nice shampoos, conditioners, and soap. All in all, it was a highly enjoyable experience. I would come back in a heartbeat. I decided to buy some gifts and gift certificates for a friend who is retiring.

Such a romantic & relaxing experience. Stumbled on this gem during a work trip to Colorado. Needless to say we took a second trip back just to return & enjoy this phenomenal experience again.

First time at a hot spring! Amazing experience! Great weather and views! Sooo many pools here! Japanese pool was our favorite with the nice blue color. Icelandic pool stayed full. We did 3 hours and it was plenty of time. We probably got in about 15 pools all ranging in different Temps from 90s to 108ish. Each pool has diff healing properties. It was like traveling the world without leaving stateside. Locker rooms were spacious with changing rooms, restrooms, and showers. Your time is started at the time you reserved, not the time you get there. They have color coded bracelets for your time slot. They have a tip jar at the towel stand which I didn't expect.

Amazing hot springs. Went in the newly opened "hot springs of the world", that is 21 & over and it was so great! Everything feels clean and well maintained, versus other hot springs I've been to. Even with the timed entries, the pools are quite packed but overall great experience and will definitely be back!

We took the 46$ package for 3 hours they have a decent selection of hot springs and cold plunge water , they provide 2 towels, I bought water from home. They have a cafe onsite for food and drinks. Inside they provide lockers and wet cloth drying option is there . Showers and restrooms are frequently cleaned. The staff works around the clock to ensure good hygiene. Calming music plays in the background. Great way to spend time on a cold snowy day. This is my second time and will come back again. Plenty parking is available.

Not worth the $150 day pass, at all! First off, I came here to LOUNGE not to sit. And in the 21 and over pools they only have chairs to sit, no lounge chairs at all. I mean.... Definite miss. The place where kids are allowed had a few lounge chairs, but all were taken. And it was soooo crowded, it took 45 mins of walking in circles to find an available chair. They should not be allowing more people than there are seats. Not cool. Not the luxurious experience I was expecting. Over rated. Definitely don't recommend day pass. Maybe 2 hours max. If I can't LOUNGE, I don't want to be here all day. And if it's over packed, don't want to be here either. Not what I was expecting. I don't recommend.

My husband and I stumbled across this Hot Spring while visiting CO last year. It was such an amazing experience that we traveled 1,800 miles back to CO just for the hot springs to celebrate our anniversary. It's the most relaxing experience - the spa feel, being outdoors surrounded by gorgeous mountains, the sound of the river, a glass of wine - nothing beats it! A general admission is good for 3 hours. Sitting in the pools under a moonlight sky is the definition of zen.

So excited to see the updates to Iron Mountain! Really enjoyed myself the first time so when I was planning another trip to Denver I knew I would have to save a day to get a good soak. Really enjoyed the new pools, love that it's adult only and having a whiskey cocktail option to enjoy was a plus! Can't wait to visit again, definitely have to get the all day pass next time.

The new adult only upriver section is a must. We didn't even partake in purchasing alcoholic drinks - just having no kids and new hot spring pools was a delight. I loved how these pools had stones in the bottom. Also a cold plunge pool that's a bit tiny and two bigger freshwater pools which was nice. Loved the view!

I have been been to Iron Mountain several times a year for the last 5 years. It's always been a great get away to relax and unwind. But the last few years that I've gone it goes downhill a little more. They have doubled the amount of pools but not the locker room. The locker rooms and outdoor bathrooms are disgusting. Lights on the signs and walk ways are not functional. The amount of people they allow in at one time is ridiculous. The pools are so crowded, it is anything but relaxing. People were horse playing in the pools and there's was nothing said to them. They just keep raising the entrance fees and the quality keeps getting worse. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. Very disappointed.

Probably the best hot springs in glenwood. The place was very well maintained, from lockers to individual spas. Price was pretty reasonable compared to the competitors. This provide a lil more adult minded, and peace in which is why we go to hot springs. To relax and exfoliate in peace. Not have children run and screaming everywhere. But they do have a kid friendly area. For an extra 10 dollars we got to enjoy spas around the world, such as ohn sens in Japan, as well as France, Italy, Iceland, and many more. They even added the minerals from these places

Amazing place. So many pools to choose from!! I loved the pools from around the world, with each having the minerals associated with that area. The snack bar was great!

Really nice facilities and a nice and spacious hot springs ground with many options. We tried the new 21+ area which was a fun experience and we loved the different country pools and particularly the cold plunge. They also have a bar with more drink options. I found the normal area to be less crowded and I personally liked the water more but the adult area had rocks on the bottom of the pools which was super nice. The food was also surprisingly yummy. We had the pretzel, the Greek pizza, and root beer floats. The food was all really good and filling. The road was a bit loud and there wasn't really any good shade in any of the pools. Also the prices are a bit expensive, but overall really worth it and a nice place.

Go during the day...quiet and beautiful environs, mellow people etc. Love it. After dark, however, it becomes a frat house, loud and drunken. I won't go after dark. Avoid unless that is what you crave.

This place would be much better if they limited attendance and actually enforced rules (such as no children under 5 in quiet area). It was pretty gross, the staff seemed to have trouble keeping the locker rooms clean because of the number of people in and out. We heard via yelp and our friends that everyone was raving about the views but directly across the river is a strip mall & hotels so like I guess if you look up or like aren't used to mountain views this place would be good. The only views of the river are from 3 pools near the bottom in the main area that were always packed. My biggest issue was that it was extremely overpopulated & we were there on a day when they were not sold out so I would hate to have been there on a sold out day. There were 5-15 people in each pool so regardless where you went it was hard to relax when you are packed in like sardines. And some of the pools had some gross stuff floating around. We saw a couple have sex in one of the hot springs which was nasty. This place has the potential to be great but as of now it is not. Besides the ungodly number of children in the pools (outside kid zone), if you paid for 21+ access you would still be with people under 21 (we saw a group of teenagers sneak in when their wrist bands wouldn't open the gates). The entire experience was a lowkey shit show, the staff couldn't seem to handle the number of people. When we arrived we got 0 instructions & they made us sign a form without even providing all of the verbiage to what we were agreeing to. The only reason I did not give this place one star is because we left feeling like our muscles were relaxed. Although we were all extremely itchy after going, even after showering.

Last time I did a review it was my mistake I hit the last star thinking it was the best. I can't think of one thing that they could change they are always trying to make people's experience the best possible. 5 stars is not enough.

Highlight of coming to Glenwood Springs. This is a great venue where they have all temperatures of pools from 98 to 108 degrees that can suit your taste. We came in the late morning around 11am where it wasn't excessively hot for last June and spent a couple of hours. Some pools are open to the sunshine and some have filtered sunlight from wooden sunscreens over the pools. There's plenty of water around to keep hydrated and they have some concessions for other drinks you might want other than water. We drove over from Vail, CO, spent a few hours, visited the downtown and then headed back to Vail. It was great and definitely would come here every time we're back in this area.

Iron Mountain Hot Springs is an awesome destination that offers a super magical experience. It's right next to the river and has the most amazing views of the mountains. I recommend it to anyone visiting Colorado or looking for a romantic getaway. I've been to Iron Mountain Hot Springs a few times in the past few years. They recently renovated and now have a section just for adults with a bar. It cost me $58 to get in, and that gave me access to the World Springs area, where I soaked for 3 hours and got to check out 31 different pools. You have to pick a specific time to enter when you buy your ticket. The prices have gone up a bit, but honestly, it's worth it. Oh, and they even include towels and lockers now, which wasn't included in your ticket price before. When I went on the weekend, it was pretty crowded. I suggest making a reservation ahead of time to make sure you get in. I bought my ticket online and put the ticket in my Apple wallet, which made checking in a breeze even though it was crazy busy on a Saturday night. The only downside was that it was really busy and kinda crowded in the hot springs. Plus, there were a few people who were really noisy and drunk, which ruined the chill vibe a bit. So, I'd say just be cool and not one of those annoying people.

Other than the first girl I met behind the check in counter who was not friendly or helpful, the experience was great. The young guy who eventually checked us in was fantastic, very informative as this was our first time, the free locker and towels were a nice feature too!! The grounds are immaculate, the flowers and different arrangements are beautiful to look at, the river and mountains added views that are second to none. We enjoyed all the individual pools with different temperatures, we really liked the pergolas that covered a few of the pools, it helped when the sun was at its peak.

It's up to $44 now for the cheapest option, and the only way to buy is online. When you try to do that, you'll see that they then try to zing for got another $3.00 as a processing fee. What a ripoff. We decided to not go. Every year it's more expensive, but now this isn't worth it to us.

First time visiting any sort of hot springs!! Wow I'm REALLY behind on that because I've clearly been missing out. En route to Grand Junction, my friend and I stopped by Iron Mountain upon someone's recommendation. Passes to soak for 3 hours ranged from $36 to $44 depending on the time of day, which I think is a great deal. Best to book online to reserve a time slot. Parking was easy, as was check-in. We quickly changed in the busy locker room, grabbed our towels, and headed outside. It was pouring rain and difficult to keep our designated towel dry. Oh well. The map made clear the temperature of each spring. We started with something cooler and worked our way up in heat, around 106 degrees. Sooo relaxing. Everything became bright and colorful as soon as the sun came out. Absolutely gorgeous. We made one stop for beverages at the kiosk by the large pool. I couldn't resist the urge to order a Watermelon Vodka Lemonade. I mean, that sounds amazing!! Didn't try the food because something about swimming and eating doesn't mesh for me. Anyways, I'd totally come back here again, though there are other hot springs I'd want to try first.

We came around 8ish pm during Veterans Day weekend. It was in the 20s. We first dipped our toes in the 108 degree pool and that was way too hot to start. We rapidly found another pool at 98 and that was just right. We slowly worked our way to higher temperatures. It wasn't crazy packed and our group was comfortable. They had drinks for sale, my friend got a smoothie and said it was pretty good. The music was kind of "zen" but past the family pool they had some classics playing. It was an enjoyable experience, hoping to come next time during the day to see some spectacular views. The staff were friendly and hardworking, they kept the lockers/bathrooms very clean. The showers were huge and so relaxing.

The place was underwhelming but I had to do a review in the gallery at the front desk Samantha. She checked us in and was soooooooo friendly and made our experience so much better!

After a couple hour drive this was the perfect way to relax for the evening! We upgraded to the World Springs package and it did not disappoint! With access to all 32 pools, you can escape from the children for a more relaxing evening if wanted! Alcoholic drinks were fairly priced. Towels, locker rooms, and the area over all was clean. Staff and other spa guests were friendly.
