Recently I finished my second workshop with Ingrid/IS Projects which involved Suminagashi marbling. My first experience was for a letterpress workshop last summer and back then they only had the corner space. Since then they have expanded, adding tons of space for more equipment, as well as a gallery/gift shop selling handmade books and prints. Compared to some other South FL art studio/workshop prices, the ones at IS Projects are reasonable and are also a perfect way to try your hand at a new art form.
I love knowing there's an art studio like this in the area that offers hands-on learning. Just about every weekend there's a workshop so check out their web site's calendar. Plus if you're unsure about which type of printmaking you're into, they have free demonstrations the first Friday of the month as well as during the FATVillage Art Walk.
