Last night Royal New Zealand ballet presents Firebird with my Brilliant careers. The ballet dancers dance beautiful and haven't been to the theatre 🎭 for long time since last I watch ballet when I was a teenager. Amazing ballet and nice theatre 🐦‍🔥🩰

Isaac is the iconic highlight of the city! Both exterior and interior are unique Edwardian style, rebuild completely after earthquake. The atmosphere inside is just great with close to the stage creating unique bond between performers and spectators. We have visited multiple times for various events, concerts and plays and it never disappoints. Staff is super helpful and friendly offering fantastic service from the moment you step through the doors. Only improvement will be if seats were more comfortable and the design of seats is not the best as if someone tall sits in front of you it will block the view, but you can still manage for 2 hours.

We had a lovely night out for two days attending comedy shows. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the theatre. The seats were comfortable even though the elbow space was narrow. They did a good job restoring the theatre after the earthquake. Love the bathroom, and the decor was nice.

Seats are hard and rows too long so lots of interruptions from people needing to get past. Intro music to Chopper was nasty metal played too loud for too long as the show didn't start till latecomers arrived. Chopper was too loud, I couldn't make out half of what he was saying (saw him at another venue without this issue). Take ear plugs. Staff were amazing, sorted out a testosterone/incel problem fast. Really friendly 😊 It was the volume and seating that was a let down.

Beautiful venue! Fantastic restoration, helpful and friendly staff. They were very well organised and did a fantastic job shepherding all the people. Would have loved to give 5 stars, but the seating was pretty cramped. The whole row had to stand to let anyone past. We went to a concert here and there was barely any space to move around when the crowd was encouraged to get energetic. Accidentally elbowed my neighbour a few times and neither of us are large.

Seating is far far too small. I felt uncomfortable and squished, and also claustrophobic the entire show, to the point its hard to enjoy what your watching. I have no idea why they didn't make the seats even average size when they renovated. There is also no gaps to breakup the long rows, so you really are jammed in. Always try grab a front row or an isle seat. It puts me off buying tickets to shows held here. It's such a shame as it's a beautiful building.
