Isaac Theatre Royal

A beautiful venue with a really helpful team all over the venue. It was so cool work alongside them during the NZ Squash Open. It's not their typical kind of event but they really got behind us.

Saw Tina Turner (tribute singer) she was amazing. The Theatre is beautiful & easy access to toilets and bar. The theatre itself is a bit small but it's a great location & an artistic part of Christchurch pre earthquake that still stands & was respectfully upgraded.

Attended an event which was super well organised, the staff were the loviest. The threatre itself is so beautiful.

I took my daughter to see The Best of The Bee Gees it was an awesome show we both loved it

Decided on the night to see Cirque Bonbon. The lady who sorted the tickets was lovely and all the staff were cheerful and professional. The theatre is delightful and worth seeing what is on if you have a free evening. New Regent St is just round the corner fore pre or post meal or drinks and there is parking nearby.

Lovely entrance with stunning chandelier in foyer. Seats comfy and view ok.

Last night Royal New Zealand ballet presents Firebird with my Brilliant careers. The ballet dancers dance beautiful and haven't been to the theatre 🎭 for long time since last I watch ballet when I was a teenager. Amazing ballet and nice theatre 🐦‍🔥🩰

Isaac is the iconic highlight of the city! Both exterior and interior are unique Edwardian style, rebuild completely after earthquake. The atmosphere inside is just great with close to the stage creating unique bond between performers and spectators. We have visited multiple times for various events, concerts and plays and it never disappoints. Staff is super helpful and friendly offering fantastic service from the moment you step through the doors. Only improvement will be if seats were more comfortable and the design of seats is not the best as if someone tall sits in front of you it will block the view, but you can still manage for 2 hours.
