Isarlat (Sargasuli Tower), Jaipur Rating: 9/10 ✔️ Watch Tower in city centre ✔️ Affordable entry fees for students ✔️ Beautiful panoramic city views Overview: Isarlat, also known as Sargasuli Tower, is a watch tower in Jaipur that offers visitors a viewpoint to admire the city’s skyline. Details & Experience: • Standing at 140 feet tall, the tower provides a full panoramic view of Jaipur from the top. • To reach the top, you need to climb a narrow staircase inside the tower, which might be challenging for elderly people or those with mobility concerns. • The viewing platform at the top is small, allowing only a few people at a time, so it’s best to visit when it’s less crowded. • Visitors are advised to reach before 4 PM to ensure entry. Ticket Prices: • ₹52 for Indian tourists • ₹25 for Indian students Suggestions: It would be even better if the entry hours extended longer, allowing visitors to experience the sunset and night views of the city, which would add a magical perspective to the visit.

Best view of the city! It's pretty darn high.. the corridor leading to the top isn't easy to go up nor to come down; pretty tight, too... North American folks might not fit😅 Beware!

Isarlat, also known as the Sargasuli Tower, is one of the hidden gems of Jaipur. this is seven-storey victory tower stands tall in the old city and offers a stunning panoramic view of Jaipur. The spiral staircase may feel a bit narrow, but the climb is worth it once you reach the top – the sight of the Pink City’s markets, havelis, and historic monuments from above is simply breathtaking. The architecture reflects a blend of Mughal and Rajput styles, with beautifully designed arches and balconies. It’s less crowded compared to other attractions, making it a peaceful spot for photography and enjoying the cityscape. Visit in the evening around sunset for the best views, and carry a water bottle as the climb can be tiring. Entery fees is 50 rupees per person and kids are free. Isarlat Sargasooli is a beautiful 18th-century victory tower built by Maharaja Ishwari Singh in 1749. Located near Tripolia Bazaar, it’s often called the “Tower of Heaven.” The seven-story tower has a spiral ramp inside that takes you to the top, where you get breathtaking 360° views of the entire Pink City—from City Palace and Jantar Mantar to Nahargarh Fort in the distance. The climb is slightly narrow but not too difficult, and the view is absolutely worth it, especially at sunset when Jaipur glows in golden light. It’s less crowded compared to other monuments, making it a great spot for photography and a peaceful experience. A must-visit if you want a panoramic view of Jaipur’s heritage and city life. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Isarlat, also known as Sargasuli, is one of Jaipur’s most striking landmarks—both for its history and its breathtaking views. Built in 1749 AD by Maharaja Swai Ishwari Singh to commemorate his victory in the war of succession against his brother Swai Madho Singh I, this 140-feet high, seven-storey octagonal tower stands proudly in the heart of Jaipur. Its name, “Isarlat,” reflects its association with Ishwari Singh, and it remains a fine example of Rajput-era architecture. Climbing to the top is like walking through history. As you ascend the spiral ramps, the city slowly unfolds before you. From the highest storey, Jaipur’s iconic heritage comes alive—you can see the majestic City Palace, the astronomical wonder of Jantar Mantar, the bustling bazaars, and the harmonious pink facades that give the city its charm. Located near Tripolia Gate in the old city, Isarlat is not just a monument—it’s a 360-degree history lesson in stone and skyline. The entry fee is modest, and the experience is priceless. If you want to capture Jaipur’s spirit in a single frame, this is the place to be.

Unique structure! Located right in the heart of the main Jaipur City, it's not much frequented by tourists. But it's totally worth a visit. Due to its height, from the top you can see the entirety of Jaipur City - a complete 360 degree view, including the famous landmark structures and forts on ground level as well as on the hill tops. We need to take the stairs to reach the top but it's totally doable and worth the climb! Must visit!

This monument give a 360° panorama view of the city market of Jaipur, the pacing traffic on road below, hustle and bustle of city, landmarks like hawa mahal, city palace, amer palace etc. All can be viewed from here, boasting the majestic architecture of Jaipur. Laat meaning tower, was designed as an observation tower, small not much of a group hangout point as only 4-5 at max, people can be there at top. Hence entry and exit is monitored closely by a guard. There are no stairs but keep in mind you have to walk up there, pathway is steep, hence to be avoided by old people, toddlers and specially abled person. Also it is about 7 floor height, not the actual length of a straight tower, enough to make you check your heart and joint health though. A must visit place if you crave that bird eye view and gusty wind which greets you at its top. Or maybe finding it tough to find a lost person in the markets of Jaipur, than this is the perfect place to find them. Keep wandering and checkout the insta page for more. @dreamin_.owl

Isarlat is a seven-story tower standing approximately 140 feet tall, built in 1749 by Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh to commemorate his victory over his half-brother, Sawai Madho Singh, in a battle for the throne of Jaipur. It was once the tallest structure in the Pink City. The tower blends Rajput and Mughal architectural styles and was designed by the royal architect Ganesh Khowan. Its circular staircases and cross-sectional design ensure proper ventilation and light throughout the structure. The name "Sargasuli" translates to "Passage to Heaven," reflecting its impressive height. It originally served as a watchtower for the royal family’s City Palace. The tower’s yellow exterior contrasts beautifully with the surrounding pink buildings, making it a striking sight.
