We always stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan but haven't had the chance to get a massage at the hotel spa as it is usually booked out. The last time we did a treatment here, it was many years ago so I was excited to get a slot during our last short stay in BKK.
The spa is on L5, same as the gym and pool facilities. It looked pretty much like what I remembered from years ago actually. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the gym looked refreshed, while the treatment rooms seemed dated, at least the one I was in. Probably the only downside for me. My therapist K.Por was excellent and maintained the same pressure throughout the session, and managed to find a few knots that had been causing me a lot of discomfort. After the session, I felt refreshed and relaxed. Def worth a visit if you're staying at the hotel. If you have time, unwind by the pool or book a slot with the fitness center for one of the complimentary sessions they have for guests. I'm definitely packing my gym clothes for my next trip!
