Ischia Blu Resort

Wonderful experience!! Beautiful hotel right on the water. We absolutely fell in love with Ischia, and our stay at Ischia Blu made things perfect. All the staff were so warm, friendly and helpful! The hotel is immaculately clean with stunning views of the water. The location is exceptional -- 5 minute walk to the port / ferrries/ shops/ island buses etc. Breakfasts were fresh with a nice variety of foods served in a lovely room looking out at the sea. Exceptional experience-- We cant wait to come back ! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay on Ischia so memorable !! Highly recommend!! 11/10

This was our first trip to Ischia and it was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful to give advice on where to go and what to do on the island. The apartments and resort area are spotlessly clean and modern and the private beach is fantastic. The sea is beautiful, just like a natural pool. The food at the restaurant is delicious and made with local ingredients. We had a sea view apartment with a huge balcony and we loved sitting out to watch the sunset every evening. It's also just a 2 minute walk to the port, which is full of nice restaurants and bars and a lively shopping area. We would definitely go back.

A Hidden Gem – Truly Exceptional Boutique Experience! What a last-minute discovery—and what a gem! This extraordinary, family-owned boutique hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The entire team welcomed us warmly and made themselves available for anything we needed throughout our stay. The rooms were beautifully appointed—spotlessly clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. All the rooms have balconies, offering breathtaking views that we’ll never forget. The hotel offers a range of thoughtful amenities: a rooftop sunbathing area, a gym, and a well-equipped sea deck with plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and even a ladder for easy sea access. The heated infinity pool with jets was a delightful surprise and perfect for relaxing. The attention to detail, the level of service, and the overall ambiance made this stay unforgettable. Sending a huge “thank you” to the hard working team at the Ischia Blu Resort ! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a personalized, luxurious escape.

I would give this 10/5 rating if i could! We stayed in a total of 6 hotels in our full stay in Italy, and this was by far the best hotel we stayed at. I would even say one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!! The apartments are perfect, spacious and clean, we had direct access to the beach from our balcony as well. The water is beautiful and calm, the best swimming area we found in Ischia even. The location of this resort couldn’t have been more perfect as well, very close to the Ferry port (walking distance) and very close to the resort and shopping area. Staff were super friendly as well. This truly was a perfect and beautiful stay, I feel extremely lucky that I was able to find this resort as it isn’t one of the first ones that are suggested when you do your research.

My wife and I stayed here in August in my first trip to Italy, needless to say it wont be my last! Arriving off the ferry we were only a few minutes walk to Ischia Blu Resort, and the staff were extremely welcoming and informative when checking us in, and at checkout time. Our room (suite with sea view) was huge, and had everything you could possibly need for a stay of any duration! We had direct access to the sea from our door. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis, and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Would I go back to Ischia again? In a heartbeat!! Would I stay at Ischia Blu Resort again? Most definitely!!

My husband and I stayed in the Picoilla suite for 4 nights. |The room was a little smaller than I had imagined but everything had its place and the layout was well considered. We had balcony with a lovely view to the port and lighthouse .Our room and the complex was immaculately clean and decorated with very fresh relaxing colours with a coastal theme.|We arrived to Ischia by ferry from Amalfi and found the resort a very easy to walk to. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! It's a short walk to the cafes and restaurants also. |The outdoor areas around the private beach and swimming pool are immaculately presented and maintained.

We were very disappointed with our stay here. We are a family of four with a toddler, and after a long day of traveling, we arrived tired and expected a warm welcome. Instead, we were asked to wait while staff delivered towels to other guests. These towels which are supposedly for the beach, pool, and hot tub are rationed at one per person every three days. We’ve never experienced that before at a so-called “5-star luxury apartment.” (I’ve included a photo of the towels for reference.) The apartment itself looked nice at first, but the air conditioning was both weak and inconveniently set to turn off whenever you left the room. Even stepping outside caused it to shut off, meaning we had to manually restart it each time we returned. For a “luxury” property, the apartment was poorly equipped. Essentials such as laundry or dishwasher pods, basic seasonings or condiments, slippers, and bathrobes which we had at other accommodations were all missing. Housekeeping was another issue. One day we returned to find that our daughter’s clothes had been placed in the bidet. When I raised this with staff, they were dismissive and far from apologetic. The “sandy beach” described in the listing is misleading. It’s not sandy at all, but rocky and littered with trash, with no staff visibly maintaining it. Throughout the property, the flooring is all tile, with no outdoor rugs. This leaves water tracked everywhere, making it especially hazardous for children or anyone with mobility issues. Also at check out they tried to charge a 55€ transfer fee claiming they had picked us up from the port when we arrived. Which they did not. When we brought this up the guy working had to make a few phone calls to straighten it out. But did argue with us about it at first. Then there was no warm goodbye which again. We had received from every other luxury place we stayed at while in Italy. This property does have potential, and Ischia itself is a beautiful island, but the overall experience here was disappointing. Based on what we encountered, I truly question the validity of many of the glowing reviews. Please be aware before booking.

This is a really lovely place to stay. Is a family owned venue and it shows in the wonderful service and absolute cleanliness. Beautiful design and decor. |Super location. From just up the road you can get buses to pretty much anywhere on the island.
