It is a beautiful island with a lot of attractions. We got there with our catamaran and stayed for one full day. We traveled all around island with scooters which make it even nicer experience.

A nearby island to Capri. Much less crowded but also downscale. No designer shops here. Just plain and simple. The food is still wonderful and the beaches are plentiful. Just don’t expect the “ luxury “ experience of Capri. More like Napoli comes to the beach.

I spent a day in Ischia and I wish I could stay longer. When I went, I took a speed boat for about hour and regular furry took me at least 2 hours to come back to Naples. The Island is so unique and gorgeous, tons of wonderful places to go but I only had one day. I paid a cap to take me around the island. It was good to have a local as a guide and know what place to go. Beaches is extremely beautiful. The view from the top of the mountain is even better. Houses, buildings, street and all nature are stunning, looks like I'm in heaven. Suggesting: enjoy the island more then a day if you have time.

A small place for 2 or 3 days. Some beach activities, boating, diving. Nice restaurants, pedestrian ways in the village and few interesting churches.

Great island overall! Fair warning, it's helpful to come here with some Italian and open to their culture. This is not as touristic like Positano, Capri, or Sorrento. Went to the port side (near the castle), Forio, and Sant'Angelo. It was very nice even though it was a bit hotter than normal for end of June / early July. Knowing "Italian for travelers" really helps as not as many folks speak English here. They have great food, coffee, gelato, sandy beaches and more!

I had a day left of my vacation and I didn't know what to do so I went to this beautiful island of Ischia. It was breathtaking and so peaceful to walk around. As soon as you left the port you didn't feel the tourism. The beaches were beautiful and I had a great day there. Would love to come back and stay there for a few days.

Forget overpriced and heavily touristy Capri. Just a stone’s throw away is this hidden gem that the locals go to get away. No price shock here. The best part is a little peninsula on the south called Sant’ Angelo. This is by far the best spot on the island. No cars allowed. Everything moves by these little electric golf carts. The silence is golden. Most of the hotels are up on the cliff, with fantastic views. The main shopping area is full of amazing little shops and artisan boutiques. The only downside is that almost all the restaurants fall into the tourist trap category. Overpriced and plagued with bad service. There are a few decent establishments but, they are hidden off the main stretch or much further away.

Yelp
One of the best places I've ever been in my life. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon in October. It was a slower tourist time which was great because it allowed us to connect more with the locals. The restaurants were great no matter which one we chose. The stores were all quaint and full of amazing leathers and clothes. Everything was locally owned. The people were all super nice and helpful and willing to show you places you would find just on google. In the end it was sad to leave the friends we had made and the lovely environment we had started to love so much. But this is definitely a place to add to your list to visit while in Italy.

Yelp
I'm reminiscing like crazy! If I could choose an island in Italy to return to, it'd be this one! It's just right. There weren't tons of tourists. Even during my visit in the autumn as the season changed, there were just enough people to make it lively. The vicinity is a walking area, although there are tuktuks, taxis, and buses. It's a beautiful scenic ride to Forio. Beware of the price gauge from taxi drivers though. Where I stayed in Cartaromana, near Ischia Ponte, was just perfectly close to the beaches and the Aragonese Castle. For you love birds, this is a destination wedding spot for sure. Tons of seaside restaurants are available, and you can take a romantic stroll along the ports afterwards. This is just as healing for the single freebirds who want to get away from it all. Enjoy your daydreaming...

Yelp
Not so much a business as an attraction. This is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD. At least it is for me. Look up pictures for it and you will see. I cannot recommend it more. Everyone here was friendly. It was NOT choked with tourists. The accommodations all seemed nice. It's easy to get around. The landscape is spectacular. The seascape is spectacular. I cannot tell you how much I loved it. Words fail me. If you are in Italy and are able to get over to Naples and catch a ferry over, DO IT.

Yelp
Very nice place for holidays with beaches, thermal sources, volcano gazes outlet, and many more!
