Unfortunately, it was unlucky timing with our stay because a big school group was running and shouting through the halls of the hostel which kept us up most of the night with no one at the front desk after 10pm. Facilities like the kitchen seemed pretty run down and not well equipped. There were also stains on our pillows and quilt cover. There are no food options at or near the hostel. Maybe this is more of a vibe in Summer.

I stayed here twice on different occasions and would definitely be back if ever in the area again. The reception staff are like one big happy family and welcomed me back like a long lost friend. These guys are such a laugh, they just kept me smiling throughout my stay. Super comfortable room, all exceptionally clean, with a great little kitchen area for self catering and a wonderful veranda on two floors. A great place to stay and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Perhaps a bit far from the beach in Humewood (3.3 km), but close to the bus station and the center of Port Elizabeth. Moreover, in a quiet residential area next to historic Fort Frederick overlooking the harbour. Spacious hotel with verandas and common rooms where you can work or relax.||||Good facilities such as the hot showers and WiFi. The kitchens are functional. The hotel is well secured. The place is kept clean. Friendly staff.||||No WiFi in the rooms, but there is a good signal in the spacious areas close to the reception. Security in the area surrounding the hotel is an issue, especially after dark (as elsewhere in South African cities).||||Would definitely stay here again!

A great backpackers Hub at the most affordable prices. I met a few Foreign Tourists and spent a few nights in a spacious room all by myself. The rates are very affordable for what they offering. The view is spectacular as it is situated upon the Hill across the Harbour. There is parking available with 24Hr security, friendly staff and plenty facilities on the terrain. Security Surveillance is installed on the premises. There are many spaces to Hang Out around the premises, from the inner boardroom to a Top Deck with a view towards SummerStrand and over the Harbour.

Excellent service from the staff ensuring all guests are well taken care of. Clean, Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and beautiful headboards. Each room is different with an outside terrace. Upon check in, proper covid protocols were put in place including signing in and out. Huge house where you could easily get lost including a gorgeous view of the harbour. Compliments and a huge thank you to Samantha and Sue for accommodating and welcoming us with such warm and beautiful hearts.

The only reason why I'm rating this place a 3 is because if their friendly staff otherwise I was shocked when I arrived there. I assumed I would have my own shower in my room like other places around their price range on Booking.com. I slept in their second floor rooms and I had to go downstairs and walk a good distance to the showers that were on the isolated side of the building. The rooms are cleaned, but there was some dirt under the bed and it looked like the sheets were not fresh.

It doesn't deserve too many 🌟 Place is newly renovated but no culture at the reception. Be careful with your bags they go for your luggage Noise after 10 o'clock and from the reception itself. To confirm booking you have to tell them how to do that. Otherwise if it was run by a professional team it can be a good place. Kitchen not very nice. But they have quite a nice eating room if you just put a table with couple of things on it can be just perfect.

Really nice one night stay here before early start to Addo. Electricity went off which meant we couldn't exit the building and security gate but this was no fault of there's. It was a national outage. Bedrooms and toilets were spotlessly clean and bedrooms (was in a double) were nicely decorated. Showers practically brand new. And balcony to sit on outside has lovely relaxed feeling and view.
