We have stayed here several times in the past and it has always been a very pleasant experience and what a view from the hotel or edge pool. You can tell that the owners take great pride in keeping the property in perfect condition. We highly recommend this place. The rooms are decorated in a very charming manner. You will love it.

We've stayed here a couple of times. We Love the feel of the rooms; not like a hotel room... they are much more comfortable. The location is great. Beautiful view, close to dining and shopping of all sorts, and right on the main road. We've found the rooms to be clean and tidy. I highly recommend! We'll be back!

Could not be more perfect! Bright cheerful rooms. Meticulously maintained. All rooms have a water view. Very peaceful and quiet. We stayed on the second floor. We love our sunroom that serves as a lovely separate sitting area separated from bedroom with sliding glass doors. They have not forgotten any comforts of home. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for one night. What a lovely spot! The room was large, comfortable & impeccably clean, with many thoughtful amenities. We loved the harbor view from our deck. Would definitely stay again!

We booked a room months in advance and visited in September. The view out of our second story unit facing the water is beautiful. Our room is very nice, and tranquility abounds. A classic Maine coast seaside stay, charming, with a spectacular view. There is also a very nice infinity pool on the premise, with an excellent view as well of the bay while you swim. Just perfect.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights at the end of August. It was absolutely THE best mini vacation we've ever had, due mainly to the accommodations at this wonderful inn. We've stayed in various other locations along the Maine coast, primarily B&Bs. We weren't sure if we wanted to veer away from that type of accommodation. We Are SO glad we did! Although the Inn is situation on a primary road, it's set back quite a bit, and it was very private and quiet. Our room (really more like a suite) was very spacious and so nicely decorated in a nautical theme. There were so many nice touches. The best part, though, was the enclosed sunroom off the bedroom. It had three big windows, and it was furnished with two comfortable chairs and a table, and binoculars were provided. There was an amazing view of Penobscot Bay. A short walk down a path leading from the Inn brought us to Adirondack chairs and a wide overhead sunscreen. We didn't use the pool, but it certainly looked inviting. The pool area was also well furnished. The entire area, inside and out, was clean and very well maintained. Coffee and tea were provided in the lobby daily. We brought our own mini breakfasts of muffins and fruit, but there were restaurants nearby. We enjoyed being there so much that we usually delayed our daily departures because we never wanted to leave the peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings. We definitely recommend it, and we hope we have the opportunity to return some day. Oh, and BTW, Terry greeted us upon our arrival, and she gave us a nice, warm welcome.

Very expensive for offering no beverages, nor breakfast. The room was ok, but it smelled very old and musty. Old decor, just not what a person would expect for the price. The view from the room was nice. Wish I spent a little more time looking at reviews. Food was far to drive, too, after a long day.

Excellent ! We were skeptical about how nice an inn located right on Rte. 1 could be. Well, it was spectacular. The hillside location is quiet and expansive, the manicured grounds were impeccable, the landscaped and heated pool was delightful, and our room was so clean and tastefully decorated that we were instantly charmed. We enjoyed views of wildflower meadows and a small rocky cove from our balconied king room. We slept with the doors open. No noise. No bugs. No light pollution. Morning coffee was delicious. All this for less $$ than most other area accommodations. This place gets my highest praise.
