My husband stayed here from Monday-Thursday this week. By looking at the pictures online and the deck ocean front I thought it would be worth the high price tag, I was wrong.
We arrived and I checked in a little after 4, I had a "free amenity coupon" for sharing my trip online, when I handed her my coupon, she said to just throw it away and I didn't get anything. I did purchase the beach bundle which included a beach bag and that broke the day I used it.
The room is very dated, it could be repainted and use updated furniture. The bathroom was not fully cleaned, you could see the dirt on the baseboards, the nightstand was dirty. Pillows were uncomfortable.
You do need a car to get around, there isn't much around the area that you can walk around. They do have a restaurant, but it can get very busy and can wait over an hour for food, you can tell the workers were stressed. The parking garage can be a hassle when 2 cars are coming and going at the same time, as there is one way in and out.
Trash was piled up in the hallway as you are to empty your own trash and put it in the hall for pick up.
They do have 2 pools outside and a hot tub inside with a lazy river, it's great if you have kids because it keeps them busy, they should have a pool for adults if you don't have children, as the kids are always jumping in around you (which was okay, but I am sure it could bother some, at previous hotels I've been at, they do separate them).
The walk out to the beach is nice but you need to pay 45.00/day for 2 chairs and an umbrella, that should be included for the price you pay for the room, as being a tourist, I don't have my own chair and umbrella.
I just find you don't get enough for the price tag and that's my own personal opinion, I haven't recommend it to anyone to stay at. The grounds outside look nice including the palm trees. There are several other places on the same street, with the same view with a balcony for much cheaper, that was my fault for not doing more research.
