It's best to buy your ticket online and then be patient to wait in a fairly long line of cars that forms due to the limited parking spaces. The organization is very good, there are people everywhere to guide you. After parking, you can immediately leave on the tour with the bus that you find near the souvenir shop. It's best to be patient to find a seat by the window. The tour is absolutely spectacular. On the way back, you can go to the souvenir shop or the cafe or watch the hot steam jets or the fire from the volcano. It's an experience that I recommend you do!

A unique experience, worth seeing and learning about the history of the volcanoes in Lanzarote. If you go by car, you pay for parking (and the bus) 22€/pers. You get to the parking lot next to the el Diablo restaurant and from there you take the bus. Everything is well organized. You don't get off the bus during the tour. The bus stops at certain points of interest and you can take pictures (from the bus).

Timanfaya National Park is a beautiful place that is well worth seeing. I paid €22 (October 2025), which included admission to the park, a bus tour of the park, and a small demonstration of the still-active volcanic underground. I recommend arriving at the park first thing in the morning at 9:00 a.m. when it opens. Later in the day, long lines form in front of the entrance because the parking lot has a limited number of spaces—the entrance and parking lot are managed by employees. Walking is prohibited throughout the park (except for the parking lot and restaurant areas). Buses are available to take you around the park. An audio guide (EN, ES, DE) is available during the ride, or you can listen to the audio guide on your phone (IT, FR). The bus stops at the most important points, but photos can only be taken from the bus; you cannot get off. An interesting feature is the grilling of meat and sweet potatoes over a geothermal vent. I consider the main negative to be the overcrowding of the area, but I understand that because there is also a restaurant and a souvenir shop there, it would be very complicated to introduce timed admissions.

I highly recommend this visit! The ticket includes a 35-minute bus tour with an online audio guide available in several languages. The experience is breathtaking and truly worth it. You’ll learn a lot about the history of the volcanoes and the eruptions that took place in the 18th and 19th centuries. Waiting times are relatively short thanks to great organization. Big thanks to the staff and to this amazing place for existing. 🌋✨

Absolutely worth to visit as the volcanic sceneries are amazing and breathtaking. We visited the park on Tuesday, arrived at 9:20 AM and had to wait around 50 minutes to get parked. Be aware, that you have to pay the entrance fee in cash at the very first stop a kilometer before the parking lot. Three adults and one kid was €77. The bus tour was fantastic. The driver stopped couple of times and you can take pictures from inside the bus. After the tour we enjoyed cakes and coffee in the restaurant.

See nature at its best! Food grilled using natural heat from beneath the surface - incredible. Experience a thrust of steam shoot up when water is poured down a hole that has a very high temperature beneath. We all enjoyed the experience here - comes recommended when visiting the area.

We went to visit it at about 9:30 AM on a Monday in July. After paying, there was a long queue of cars so we had to wait about 90 minutes, but it was definitely worth the wait. The bus takes you through the scenic volcanic landscape which you can't see anywhere else on our planet. The bus driver also stops at interesting places so people can get a better look at them or take pictures. The bus tour lasted about 35 minutes. After we ate lunch and tried their meat that is cooked by volcanic heat, it tasted great. The price of the food was more than reasonable considering this is in a national park. The staff was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend visiting this place if it is your first time on Lanzarote.

We went on a coach tour in June. The first part was driving past the queue of cars waiting to get in. It went on and on. Apparently the queue for cars is about 2 to 3 hours and you only get a limited view of the National Park. The coach option is much better. No waiting to get in and a long tour of the park with a guide. There is a restaurant where the food is cooked on a barbecue over the natural heat of the volcano. There are also demonstrations of the heat which lies just a few feet below the ground. Thoroughly recommended (in a coach).
