Awesome place and great tour. Exceptional landscape and really impressive experience. Make sure to be on time or you WILL get into a car queue of many hours that is almost impossible to get out of.

It was simply amazing when we got here, they showed us a couple of demonstrations; Firstly they had hay and they placed it down a hole and within seconds it was on fire. Next they poured water down some holes in the ground and it imitated a geyser by blowing right back up as steam. You can then walk inside to the restaurant where they serve you chicken that they cook from the heat beneath your feet. All demonstrations showed that, although on the surface it looks dormant - what lies below is still very much alive! For as far as the eye could see was what had been in the past a continuous eruption of lava spanning many years it looked like we were driving on another planet. We entered here as part of a group tour as it was the easiest way to get around.

To see this you have to enter the national park which cost 20 Euro per person. This includes those geysers, look at the grill and tour in the bus around the lava fields, which will take you around 30 minutes. The entry for cars is controlled as the parking is limited, prepare for the queues.

Great place to visit to see the power under the land you are standing on. Go early or it will be a long wait if you are going by car, coach trips properly don't give long enough to see it all and enjoy the views from the cafe. You can't buy tickets in advance and may not see how long the queues are till you have paid.

It feels like u are on mars, a vast wasteland. It makes u want walking all along there, but even from the bus u could enjoy the beautiful view. Nice soundtraks put by the guide, make the atmosphere uncanny

very cool real simulations of geysers and volcanic erruptions. views were beautiful and the place was nice. shop staff were very friendly and they had a beautiful selection of unique gifts. queue for toilets was stupidly long. planetarium was nice and coach tour was well worth the money.

Islet Hilario, located in the heart of Timanfaya National Park, is an otherworldly, Mars-like landscape with stunning, well-preserved views. Advance booking is essential. The bus tour is a highlight—especially the VIP option, which includes walking along the edge of a volcanic crater for a more immersive experience. While the initial organization could be improved (cars with and without bookings merge into one large queue), the experience is absolutely worth it. A special shout-out to our guide, Magdalena (Magda), who made the tour unforgettable with her humor and enthusiasm. Don’t miss the demonstrations with burning twigs in the magma pit and the water spouts from metal pipes that create man-made geysers.

Well worth the visit. Great experience BUSY! We were on a coach trip. The coaches take precedence over days. The cars were waiting to get into the far oark with am hours wait. The coaches get to take the scenic route around the National park. Cars do not. Spectacular!
