Nestled in the Benesse House Museum's basement, this restaurant offers stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea alongside seasonal kaiseki meals that are almost too beautiful to eat.

After a morning of visiting museums, we stopped here for lunch The view was incredible! And the bento box lunch was really a experience, a very complete meal, the food was great only the wagyu beef was a little dry to my liking

Get the beef set. It was good and tasty. Enjoyed it along with the beautiful view. I’m happy I found nice food on this island. I only paid 3300 yen.

Had lunch and dinner here. Food is passable but not for the price they charged. Service was disorganised, had to wait for at least fifteen minutes (from our reserved time) for the first seating to finish. Then our dinner was sped through... the fastest kaiseki ever, completed in 1.25 hours as it was near closing time.

While the presentation of the food is nice, the food itself is passable at most. While some will enjoy the lavish seafood tastes, I did not. The menu is fixed and the whole service takes about 2 hours. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with this kind of pricetag... Will note that the service itself was good

Three course options to pick from, around 3k yen each. Frankly speaking, you're paying for the ambience rather than the food. The food is just ok.. I'd have hoped the sashimi is fresher and of better quality/types of fish, given that it's an upscale place. There's not many options for food around the Benesse Museum (there's a cafe which is more affordable), unless you don't mind paying more than you should for food, and want to take instagrammable shots, I wouldn't recommend. You can eat around the two ports where there are more food spots. That said, the service is really good!

Wonderful cafe with the cutest bento box we ever had. Three stories of pure cuteness and delicious food. Super!

Sublime Kaiseki menu- it's all well prepared and very delicious. The dessert could have been better but still 5* i would give.

For this price, I was expecting a nice or at least decent dinner. The food was bad, the quality of the product was super low, the salmon sashimi had no taste, or even worse, it had an old freezer finishing taste (no fish taste involved). We had a simple lunch at the port for 20€ that was way better. Honestly go eat elsewhere in the island. I really regret my choice.

Yelp
Loved this kaiseki experience. I booked this restaurant as part of staying at the Bennesou Museum Park. You'll need to make a reservation in advance to get the wagyu dish. I think it's plenty of food if you don't have the add on. The place is located in the bottom floor of the museum so you can. Walk around and view the art and sculpture before and after the dinner. There is 2 times, 6 and 8p when they serve the set meals. Everything is prepared well and comes out at a good pace. They serve specifically towards your group so you won't be waiting. My favorites of the night included the fresh fish and wagyu. The lily bulb was a weird texture for me so I didn't prefer it. Overall I would recommend the experience. The sake flight was also a great add on. 3 full pours and a welcome glass drink!

Yelp
Enjoyed an incredible kaiseki experience in our own room with a view of the garden. The food was delicious and the presentation elevated the meal. Prices were quite reasonable too. This was one of our favorite experiences in Tokyo. Reservations are a must! The restaurant is in Ueno Park and near the National Museum, so you could make a day of it.
