Some of the best ramen in the Cleveland area

Google
This is hands down one of my favorite Japanese spots in town. I love how they post the freshest ingredients of the day right on the wall — stuff you wouldn’t normally see on the regular menu, but people who really know Japanese food will recognize right away. It’s like a secret menu for those in the know. The fish is always super fresh, the flavors are clean, and everything just feels very intentional. The vibe is relaxed and the staff are chill but know their stuff. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into quality over hype.

Google
Ate here with our family. The food was very fresh, dishes beautifully presented, and the people especially friendly. The Bang Bang roll and Monkey Brain were our favorites, but it was all delicious.

Google
I’ve been looking for good ramen in Cleveland and Issho Ni did not disappoint. Flavorful and served relatively quickly for being so busy. Will go again.

Google
Most of the sushi was excellent but there was a few pieces that had that fishy taste that you don't want. The rolls didn't hold together well when I picked them up, and the hot tea was atrocious. The miso soup and the tuna was very good. And I was supposed how clean and oceany the sea urchin tasted. The waitress was very nice and helped me pick out the fish.

I've neglected to review this place solely because everytime I go here with my partner, I've forgotten to take a photo 'cause I am too busy eating. Finally, I can! Cause I remembered! I love their ramen and noodles. My partner loves the sushis there. Spiciness is adjustable but unless you are used to spice I don't recommend above a 2 (its 1 to 5). Great ramen selection and lovely staff. (*EDITED TO ADD THE AFOREMENTIONED PICTURES LMAO)

Google
One of the best ramen spots in the greater Cleveland area. The sushi is also not bad and they have a wide range of foods! Love going here when we're in the area or really craving ramen. Definitely recommend the spicy tonkotsu as it's the best flavor, just be careful you get the right spice level because the levels 3+ can be a little much even if you love spicy things

Google
Great time! Novi was so sweet and a great server definitely give her a raise!! really good sushi and comes in big portions most definitely fulfilling

My husband and I have been to a few sushi restaurants in Japan, Cali, Illinois ,Ohio, and Pa and by far this place is one of the best sushi and ramen restaurants in the area. Their sunset blvd roll tastes like an actual sunset lol .

Yelp
I bring everyone here. I'm not kidding. Parents, friends, partner. I catch myself craving Issho Ni - as the weather gets colder I need the spicy ramen, as it warms up I need their sushi. The food is fantastic. Excellent service. Limited seating.

Yianni S.

Yelp
All of our food (Gyoza, Yellowtail sushi, Spicy Tonkotsu, and Shoyu with Tofu) was incredible. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired such that I cannot in good conscience give the restaurant an unqualified five-star review. Our order was given to the table next to us (who said out loud that it was not the correct order!) and the waiter told us that the chefs lost our ticket (which was untrue). We had to wait an additional 45 minutes for our food, during which period other members of the staff came up to us three (3) times to ask if they could bring us our check. At the end there was no offer to comp the meal or any real apology for the inconvenience. Understanding that even the best restaurants have off days, and considering how incredible the food was, I will still happily return. I don't mind waiting longer for the food, but it's unfortunate that the lying to us + harassment left such a poor taste in my mouth that soured what would have otherwise been an excellent experience.

Yelp
This is the best ramen by far in Cleveland! The flavors are unmatched, and the price is pretty reasonable, making it a must-visit spot. We went on a Sunday night, and it was quite busy, so I recommend going early since they close at 8. We tried the Spicy Tonkotsu at level 3 spice and the Kuro Black Ramen. The spicy ramen had just the right amount of kick, and both broths were incredibly flavorful--rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The ambience is family-friendly, and the service was impressively quick despite the crowd. Overall, I highly recommend Issho Ni Ramen. It's definitely a winter staple that will keep you coming back for more!

Sarah T.

Yelp
This was our second time at Issho Ni, and it was an overall good experience yet again. I have not tried their sushi, but I have had the Giso Ika (fried squid), Kiiro Ramen, and Kuro Ramen. The ramen is fantastic for the winter, and everything starts to smell good as you're waiting for your food to come. The food is all very good, and Issho Ni is currently our favorite ramen restaurant. The inside is very small, so depending on the day, and time of day, will determine wait times (we have never waited over twenty minutes for a seat). The staff have always been very pleasant, and they acknowledge when you reach the front counter as well as when you leave. They tend to the tables quite well, ensuring drinks are filled, and for us, providing more napkins (lol). I have been recommending it to those who are interested in local ramen restaurants and will continue to do so!

Eunice D.

Yelp
I am going to get straight to it. I think this is the best ramen place in the Cleveland area. No too impressive of an establishment but the food is excellent. One of my favorite parts is that they actually have 5 true levels of spice. Three was plenty for me and I love spice! The broths were so savory. I can't wait to come back and try the sushi!

Rebeka S.

Yelp
Came in to dine alone on an early Saturday afternoon minutes after they opened. The restaurant has a very calm and relaxed environment that one would enjoy whether eating alone or with a group of friends. The ambiance is inviting and welcoming with the decor, lights, and music. I felt at home during my solo dining experience. The restaurant wasn't busy at this time, so service was fairly quick. The staff and server were so friendly and attentive, but not overbearing! I wanted the Toro nigiri on the menu, but the sushi chef said that they have the fattier tuna version (OoToro) which he recommended, so I opted for that. Omg it was amazing! He was super kind and informative on how to eat it best. You can defiantly see how much care and passion they have for the work they do. It's isn't work at this point, it's art and a hobby. The server was very accommodating because I said I liked spicy, so I got the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen level 3, but he said if I needed it spicer then he could bring out the level 4 spicy paste for me. The experience was amazing because of the staff here. The food was amazing! Probably the best sushi I've had in northeast Ohio!! The quality and freshness of the fish reminded me of some of the averagely good sushi places I've had in New York and Boston... which is great for OH! I got the OoToro nigiri and was mind blown at how buttery it was! It absolutely melted in my mouth the moment I took a bit. The other sushi rolls were also super yummy. Overall, I'd have to say this is a spectacular spot for sushi in for Ohio!! The spicy Tonkatsu ramen's broth had me in heaven as it was rich, creamy, and spicy! Perfect meal on a rainy day, especially after I completed a 5 mile run in the rain! Haha Overall, I was amazed with my experience and can't wait to be back again. I definitely want to try out their Omakase Experience next time!

Amanda W.

Yelp
We LOVE Issho Ni Ramen! if you have not already been this I'd definitely work the stop. We ordered take out this time and the food was just as delicious. The California roll is fresh and well priced for it's portion. This was actually our first time getting their ramen and will definitely be back for more. For a vegetarian option we got the Shoyu Ramen w/out Pork Belly *substitute tofu (added sriracha at home). For an option without pork belly but not vegetarian (due to the pork broth) the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen *substitute veggie, level 2 spice was amazing! I read from another review level 3 was a bit much so I decided to go with level 2 and it was the perfect amount of spice to add heat but not leave your mouth with that sting. We have yet to order anything we did not like at this place so will definitely be back soon!

Bethany B.

Yelp
Well, that was some truly delicious sushi! Located in an unassuming strip mall, this restaurant delivers on freshness and flavor. Straightforward presentation and great service (even on a busy Saturday night). I'll be glad to come back any time!

Sherry K.

Yelp
Me and my two friends went to Issho Ni as a birthday celebration to try their omakase on the first week of December as omakase only takes place Tuesday evenings at 6pm by reservation only. It was about $200 for 20 courses. The seating for omakase circles around the sushi counter, where the chefs present and showcase the food as it is being served to you. Everything was absolutely delicious! As someone who travels out of state for the omakase experience this is easily the best in the Cleveland area! I've tried Sora's omakase and it was good in its own way, Issho Ni's interpretation of omakase is a lot more traditional with presentation and variety of dishes. The fish is imported from Japan regularly which is a good sign regarding freshness and quality. Even the ginger and wasabi is imported from Japan specifically for the omakase tasting which makes such a difference in the experience. Usually with a tasting menu there's usually one or two things where there's something I don't care for but there wasn't anything in particular on this menu that I thought wasn't good. I haven't tried their sushi on the set menu list but will definitely come back as a repeat customer! If you wanted to experience authentic omakase in northeast Ohio this is the place to go!

Yelp
I have ordered twice from Issho Ni. While it is not close by to my home, I went there based on rave recommendations from a friend, paralleling the comments online. It appears take out may not be the best way to go. My first order a few months with sushi certainly tasted quite fresh although the presentation was not optimal. However, I attributed that being placed in a takeout container. Unfortunately, tonight's order was a complete disappointment on all levels. I recognize they were very busy (restaurant and carry out). However, my order was not ready until 30-35 minutes past the time I was told to pick this up. Furthermore, there was no apology from the gentleman who eventually gave me my order for the timeframe that lapsed (I understand it was very busy so the staff I suspect was stressed) or even the basic courtesy of acknowledging me (I had to ask a few different staff members for assistance). However, once I got home, I was taken aback at how bad things were in the order itself. The miso ramen broth was lukewarm (despite being told that it was being prepared - hence the wait) was beyond salty to the point of being inedible. Furthermore, although I asked for no scallions/inions, there was a copious amount of diced raw onions for some unclear reason. As for the nigiri, they appeared to have been thrown in the container. Considering the entire bill was $68 (including a $6 tip for carryout even with suboptimal service), this was a pricey non-meal (I could not eat the ramen). I will glad pay extra for excellent/good food and always want to support local businesses. Clearly, people were enjoying their meals which is great. I suspect they haphazardly put my food together assuming without any quality control. There are other places with excellent ramen (ie. Alpha Ramen) and reasonable places for sushi (ie. Ginko) even as take out. I truly hope the owners and management are more responsive to their guests (I tried calling a couple of times but no answer). I understand things get hectic. However, basic courtesy and attention to the basics of packaging orders goes a long way.

Yelp
Excellent sushi and Ramen soup. Fresh and delicious! My new go to place when I'm in the area. The restaurant is quaint and charming. The service was fast and the waiter was so polite and knowledgeable. I can really appreciate that bc if was our first visit.

brandon m.

Yelp
I spend 50-70$ each visit as a single person , each bite is just as the first, fresh food worth the money.

Samantha W.

Yelp
This isn't a place that looks like much from the road but is probably the best sushi and ramen you can get in Ohio! They ship in fish from Japan regularly and have incredible quality produce and products that they work with. The sushi here is always top notch and I have such a hard time between choosing between a sushi roll or ramen. Honestly, there are times I will get both. The spicy tonkatsu ramen is next level and if you ask for a 4-5 know that you will be hit with heat! You can also get it as a 0 if you like no spice or a 1-3 if you like a little spice but nothing too crazy. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Kathy D.

Yelp
Had such high expectations for this place after hearing glowing reviews from coworkers and other Yelpers. Welp, many things led to the very meh quality of this place. Cons/Grievances -so small, cramped, no reservations. There was a whole other room for hibachi but apparently they don't do hibachi anymore so...please open up seating room here -service was not very warm nor fast nor efficient. The one lady asked us not to even stand in the empty hibachi area claiming that there was a big group of people coming in that room. We left to wait outside but only later saw the sign that said they no longer are serving hibachi. So that lady flat out lied to us for no reason...some other servers were more friendly but service was quite slow -menu prices were out of date and some items were MUCH more expensive. That's really not cool for a business to do -high prices for not so big portions and only okay quality -ramen was the biggest disappointment. I got the yellow ramen and it was BLAND, you guys. Noodles could have been chewier and no marination or flavor on the bamboo strips. No nori strips, no fish/squid cake, not much value and just a regular portion -no red chili oil or even any hot sauce option. Lady said there was a $1 for any spice on the side. I hate when businesses do this...so stingy... Pros -they do have strip mall parking but it is cramped and can get really busy -presentation of food was good (but with most Japanese food, this isn't hard) -wide selection of sushi, ramen choices -had uni available which is really hard to find in Ohio

Schrell P.

Yelp
My guy and I wanted to try something new so we decided to go here originally for ramen, however once we got inside and checked out the menu we decided to share a few other items instead. We decided to try the Rock N Roll sushi and the Yakisoba dish and I must say I already can't wait to go back!!! Both the food and the service were great. Food came out quickly, server was nice and attentive and the establishment was nice and clean.

Km C.

Yelp
The absolute best ramen in NE Ohio. The food is excellent. All the ramens are exceptional. the service is the finest. I can highly recommend this quality eatery.

Domenic L.

Yelp
Don't try to place a to go order from this place. Wvery time we call takes 5x to answer because there is no one at the hostess stand, when you finally get through they're abrasive and rude. Every time we order it's a hassle, mainly because they have the hostess Nobi answer the phone and her English is so broken it's impossible to get your order in. Constantly interrupts you, puts you on hold, doesn't get the order right, is argumentative, but we liked the food so we kept going back. Tonight ordered the same order we have multiple times, read it back multiple times, get in there to pick the food up, check the order, it was wrong. Tell Nobi that my wife ordered it and the sauce was to be on the side, argued loudly with me, I told her no problem, let me pay for the rolls that were correct. Refused to let me but the $40 worth of sushi that was correct and THREW IT IN THE GARBAGE in front of me. Most unprofessional interaction I have ever had at any restaurant in my entire life. Asked for a manger they said they have none and when I asked the English speaking server who heard the entire interaction to step in, he said he didn't want to get involved. Will NEVER return and will happily disparage this restaurant any chance I get. Imagine throwing food away that a customer is trying to pay for. Things must be good if they don't need any more business.

brittany r.

Yelp
This place is hands down best sushi in the area. I also religiously go to their poke bar located in mentor. Unfortunately today my significant other and I showed up after driving 25 minutes for a sushi date we walked in at 6:51, our plan was to grab a bite quick and head out but they denied us service and offered take out. I was frustrated because in the second booth there was a party of 4 that just sat with menus open. I understand if they want to make sure they close on time but it's not like we showed up 20 minutes before close. Also we tend to leave within 45 minutes because service is fast. Very disappointed with this customer service experience.

Maricar G.

Yelp
The only OMAKASE I would ever recommend is right here at Issho Ni. Tonight was a 19 course experience and Chef Ryan scored 19 for 19 for me. Omakase literally means "I leave it to you" meaning you are trusting your chef to prepare a meal, with ongoing conversation on what you like so they can adjust to your liking. I was expecting sashimi but each small plate was crafted in textures, multi hour boiling/marinating, dressed with a variety of sauces and all pleasing to the eye. Excellent quality products were served and each week is a different menu... a challenge that this team puts on themselves. Omakase is only offered on Tuesday's here and by reservation only. Side note, no alcohol served here so that you can truly appreciate the quality of food - admirable. The entire restaurant is closed and a small group is seated at the sushi bar. Each plate is introduced with what type of fish, where it came from and how it is prepared. If you are not a fan of a particular kind of fish (my neighbor was not a fan of the uni) the chef was happy to substitute with something else just so she could enjoy the experience. My favorite items tonight was the snow wagyu A5, salmon belly and the dessert: black sesame crème brûlée which blew my mind. Wasn't too rich or sweet. I told them they needed to put this on their regular menu. It was very apparent that this team takes much pride in their work and it appears that their hard work is paying off. They are already in talks to open a third establishment soon.

Madison B.

Yelp
Great ramen & sushi, i highly recommend! Helpful and friendly staff. Keep in mind its a small restaurant

Roger M.

Yelp
Pretty flavorful Ramen. My best Ramen experience in CLE to date. Closest I have had to authentic. Still, there is corn in my Ramen. Why? Is this a midwest thing? Best experience and price I have had in the Cleveland area.

Feiyang L.

Yelp
This restaurant sucks! They placed the wrong order and claimed they did not make any mistakes. I am not satisfied with their service and they forced me to pay the tip ,which is 18% . They claimed we are a group of 5 and there would be 18% tip automatically. But we are separated the bill. And the noodles sucks. And they scared me , saying this is USA , we need to follow their rules . Never go to this restaurant, they would serve you the worst food, worst service.

Zoe R.

Yelp
So nice had to come back twice! Again here for work and needed a fix, so me and a coworker stoped by. When I tell u some of the best sushi I've ever had, I mean it. And coming from NYC, I think that is saying something. Service was great, was able to get in and get out in under an hour, really love the sushi bar set up so u can see the chefs make each roll. HIGHLY recommend the Issho roll, the onion soup (to die for) really anything ! Had to come back two days in a row, and brought another co worker who also said it was delicious. Pricing was standard and totally worth it, Staff was really nice and made sure we got our food fast. I know for a fact I'm gonna be craving that roll for a while. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Robert T.

Yelp
Sushi was absolutely amazing, all the flavors melted together so well on the rolls we had. First time tying grilled eel was very flavorful and tasty with the fish eggs on top. Service was fast and pleasant. Very small cool bar area makes for a great ambiance in a little space. Will definitely come try more soon.

Noelle S.

Yelp
I have been coming to this restaurant since it has opened. It go to items to disappoint and today's online order will be the last time I order from here. The picture below is the sashimi deluxe for $80! The portion sizes are insulting. They took each piece of dish and cut it in halves to count towards the 18 pieces. Shame on you isshoni! Also last time we visiting the lady server talked my son into trying a specifics sashimi fish but neglected to tell us that each pieces was $20. They have really gone down.

Alexis F.

Yelp
Talk about a HIDDEN GEM! I've been here a handful of times and they never dissapoint. The sushi, ramen, gyoza, it's all incredible made with super fresh ingredients. It's not on the menu, but the wagyu is also amazing! The food always comes up fast and the staff is very friendly. If you're looking for tasty food, this is the spot.

Salimah R.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Got the fried octopus legs and the no broth ramen. Both were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Cameron O.

Yelp
Great sushi bar with high quality fish in an unassuming strip mall in willoughby. You would never think that the fish coming out of the sushi bar next to the tattoo parlor would be serving some of the highest grade sushi in north east Ohio, but it is. We had ootooro, the best. The knife marks on the sashimi were perfect and the buttery texture stated the high quality of the tuna belly. Another favorite, botan ebi with the fried shrimp heads, so good and came out warm which was a really nice treat. We had various sashimi nigiri and hand rolls and everything was of utmost quality and flavor. Highly recommend! Food: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance 8/10 Overall rank: 9/10

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick dinner on a chilly day and was not disappointed! Issho Ni has a simple and effective menu of a few ramen varieties and a standard sushi menu. My boyfriend and I both ordered ramen. The broths were both hearty and delicious, though I wish the bowls came with more veggies. The portions are on the smaller size as far as ramen goes, but are plenty filling. The prices are standard ($15 per bowl, give or take). The flavor was good but nothing extraordinary. The service was QUICK- we were in and out of there in less than 40 minutes.

Ailin J.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but this review is solely for the lunch sashimi platter. Service was quick, no complaints there. We came for lunch on a weekday and seated quickly. I ordered the sashimi lunch special and I was baffled that I got 2 sticks of imitation crab that counted for 1/4 of my sashimi. First of all, that's cooked so shouldn't even be sashimi and I thought that was just so cheap of the restaurant. I would've paid more for better fish options. In addition, under the menu they said you can add unagi onto your sashimi entree for a certain price and when I asked to add that they just added unagi as a whole separate order which was more expensive and I wish they clarified with me what I asked for. I hope for a better experience next time but overall a clean kind location.

Jack Z.

Yelp
Best ramen I've found in Cleveland so far, on par with your average options in larger cities. Issho Ni is a bit out of the way compared to other options closer to the city proper, but it's definitely worth the drive out for its great flavor and challenging spice levels. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, which was flavored with bamboo, scallions, garlic paste, and their trademark spicy paste, among other ingredients. The pork belly and egg were tender and cooked the perfect amount. As other reviewers have mentioned, definitely take the spice recommendations seriously. Level 2 is more than spicy enough if you have an average tolerance and still want to enjoy your food. I'd also definitely recommend making reservations beforehand. There isn't much seating area inside so the wait can be substantial. Once you're seated, though, service is relatively fast and very friendly. Servers will cheerfully poke fun at you for thinking you can handle higher spice levels than you actually can.

Maya H.

Yelp
Drove out to Willoughby to try this gem. Sushi rolls were innovative and delicious. Ramen was good but could use more toppings. Service was quick!

David C.

Yelp
For Cleveland, it's solid ramen place, but maybe I had too high expectations based on friend's recommendations and other reviews, or maybe the day I went with 4 others was an off day. I ordered Spicy Tonkatsu ramen spicy level 2. The flavor of the broth was good, but for some reason my broth and my friends' broths were a little salty and I feel like the ratio of soup to noodles was a little low. The chashu, menma, and other toppings were good --usually the bamboo shoots are kind of stinky but that was not the case here. Also, there is no more hibachi as of writing this review. This is subjective, but I tried my friend's level 3 spicy and I would say level 3 is similar to Shin ramen spicy so it's not that spicy and it's enjoyable. Staff was very kind and the atmosphere was nice!

Garrett C.

Yelp
Great selection of sushi. Very knowledgeable staff that will tell you where each fish is sourced from. Extremely fresh and delicious. This place is a hidden gem. Best sushi I've had in Cleveland

Benjamin H.

Yelp
The food is so authentic and delicious that I would consider this one of the top 3 sushi and hibachi restaurants in Northeast Ohio. Their ramen is also incredible and so flavorful. The atmosphere and costumer service is fun, friendly, and accommodating. If you're in the area, make this place one of your restaurant destinations.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Fresh, delicious, tasty! Service was excellent and staff very polite. Bonus points for having numerous and clearly makes vegetarian options including the tasty miso soup. Will definitely return :)

Adrianna U.

Yelp
If you're looking for ramen in the ~cleveland area~, i think this is the place. I've been on a hunt for some good ramen and this is the best i've had in cle! Ramen: I got the spicy tonkotsu. For me, a spice level 1 was enough spice!! The pork was so flavorful and tender. Broth was very rich. thin noodles which is what I prefer. Sushi: the sunshine roll was really good- It had some spicy honey sauce on it, which paired super well with the roll. I was sad when I finished it. Highly recommend trying some of their specialty rolls. Overall, i wish this place was closer because this is really good ramen- better than Mason's and Xinji IMO. Location looks fairly new; slightly feels like a take-out restaurant, but plenty of seating and we sat down immediately on a Saturday.

Jan W.

Yelp
Yellow ramen was really good. Egg slightly undercooked but everything else was great. Service a little slow

Rose P.

Yelp
Genuinely the best ramen and sushi I've had in Cleveland. Very fast service and the food just can't be beat. I can't wait to come again.

Allgood R.

Yelp
Loved the visit for birthday outing with kiddos food authentic ramen very tasty good service nice setting myst revisit this was August... try and enjoy!

Yvonne W.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food and the service! It was a bit smaller than I expected but very neat and clean. My husband and I ordered the shrimp and veggies in tempura, it was so crisp, hot, and delicious! I want to go back soon for a tasting featuring the chef's suggestions.

Akhilesh R.

Yelp
One of the best ramen in the Cleveland area. Lot of sushi options. Spice level 2 is good and if you are adventurous try 3 which gives the ghost pepper flavor. Anything 4/5 likely will be torture. They did a nice job with take out and once you heat it the taste is maintained.

Yaz A.

Yelp
This used to be my go to spot for sushi and ramen. Although, after today I may start searching elsewhere. Service was great as we entered before everything got too busy. One thing I did not appreciate is that if you take the pork out of the shoyu ramen, you HAVE to substitute it with vegetables in order to avoid incurring an extra charge. I asked if I could substitute the pork for tofu, but was told that it would be an extra $2 charge to replace it. That rubbed me the wrong way and I don't appreciate that. I decided to try a new ramen today (shoyu ramen), and it was average. Nothing really stood out for me. Unfortunately, todays experience was a let down compared to previous.

Lucy T.

Yelp
This is my favorite sushi/ramen spot in the Cleveland area! I've been here numerous times for their rolls and ramen and always love exploring their menu. There's usually enough seating to get a party of 4 seated immediately for dinner but getting your food may take a while. The store itself has a family friendly atmosphere with plenty of booths, moderate music and great cleanliness. Their ramen has rich, flavorful broth with the most perfect jammy eggs, but can get painfully spicy. My friend who constantly has spicy food couldn't even handle the level 5, and instead goes for the level 3. I'm happy with just 2. My favorite is the spicy tonkotsu but you can't go wrong with any ramen here! They have a variety of sushi and I find that they use fair quality sashimi and season their rice well. Personally I think their classic rolls are a little overpriced for their size so I usually go for their signature rolls. Also always tasty!

Yelp
Worth the wait! My husband suggested this place after seeing it on Instagram, and he loves ramen so we made our way To Willoughby. After a 40 minute wait (on a Friday night) we finally got to eat. And it was so good. We got the edamame and gyoza fried dumplings. They were both great. But the star of the show was the ramen. I got the Issho ni ramen. It was so good! The thickness was like a carbonara but the variety of flavors were authentic and amazing. I loved it. My husband got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen level 3 spicy! He handled the heat, but I could never. They also have sushi and hibachi. This is a small place but the food was so good and the sushi is made to order so we will be back for sure!!

Yelp
Best ramen I've had in Cleveland area, but sadly falls *extremely* short of my standards (spoiled by having loved in NYC and travels abroad). The ramen broths don't have as much flavor as I like (I prefer bolder flavors like spicy miso as opposed to lighter broths when it comes to ramen.) The spicy tonkatsu ramen was spicy but lacked flavor. The squid ink ramen broth wasn't as rich as it could've been. The eggs are ice cold, and my yolk was way overdone (well done). There was literally one vegetable (bamboo) and a lot of scallion... No wood earusgrooms as pictured, no nori... Nothing. They don't even cut the cold egg in half, and the noodles are mediocre Overall: Meh... Expensive too but I guess ethnic food here is generally at NYC prices or more :(

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance were all incredible! I've been here twice, and so far have ordered the: Kiiro (Yellow) Ramen, Kuro (Black) Ramen, Issho Ni Carpaccio (one of their most popular dishes), Tuna Roll, Issho Ni Roll, and Geso Ika. Truly the best ramen I've ever had in Cleveland! If you can handle spice, they are true to their spice level in their scale of 1-5 (with 5 being the spiciest). I'm excited to visit again to try their omakase on Tuesdays, which is by reservation only!
