Where to Stay in Istanbul When You Visit (Updated 2025)
"Right in the heart of Kadiköy, Istanbul Life Hotel offers a complimentary Turkish breakfast with tea, coffee, local cheese, fresh bread and pastries, and juice; the chic rooms feature hardwood floors, wood ceiling detailing, plush velvet headboards, an electric kettle, minibar, desk, flatscreen TV, laptop safe, and nicely tiled bathrooms with walk-in showers." - Matthew Kepnes
This is a very nice place with friendly people! My room was small, but very comfortable, quiet, and clean, with everything I needed. The location is perfect: close to the pier, metro and bus stops. Getting from Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) was easy by metro, and if you need to get to Istanbul Airport (IST), it's also easy: just take the direct Havaist bus. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay on the Asian side of Istanbul.

Far from being 4 stars, this hotel has tiny rooms, very humble breakfast and lots of noise at night. And looks like someone has bought lots of fake reviews to boost the rating instead of actually improving the quality.
Update: After checking your profile you are a lier who is renting out tiny rooms and buying reviews. You can’t even write properly and use AI to generate the response, ironic indeed. I booked your place through Booking and submitted a formal complaint there after reading this “response”. Ciao!

Room is small but cozy. Service is excellent, but the wifi is the worst! Almost never connects and if it does was super slow.
Breakfast was ok, recommend skipping it.
Location is great

The hotel location is perfect it’s a few minutes walk to the ferry and bus stop.. also a few minutes walk to the busy areas with restaurants and shopping. The rooms however are smaller than they seem online… toilets are small but if you’re not planning to hang out in your room it shouldn’t be a problem… the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is from 8-10 am only and it’s just your very basic Turkish breakfast… but there are a lot of restaurants and options for breakfast within 2-5 minutes walk.

Stayed at Istanbul life hotel for a week and was one of the best experiences I had with hotels. Extremely clean, with great staff who loved to help out. The breakfast was plenty and very good quality. We asked something special (Turkish coffee) and the staff took the time to make it. I really enjoyed staying here.

We booked double room for 6 nights |Good points: staff behavior was nice specially two Azerbaijanian guys in reception was so respectful and helpful.|Hotel was near to public transport and beach and bars street in kadikoy.|They served Tea in lobby and you can drink it in front of the hotel, that wad nice.||Bad point:Main problem was the size of room. It was small room without any closet and any space for two persons suitcases.|There was no air conditioner in bathroom and our toilet bowl was a lots of small hair, I told twice for cleaning unfortunately they have been there until the last day!||Another problem was noise. Every 6 nights music started at about 10:30 pm to 4 am. It was really annoying. We can’t find any disco or bar near the hotel but we didn’t know the source of that.|If you can’t sleep in noisy places consider this point.

A very nice and well located hotel in Kadikoy. The staff were always very helpful. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast lady was always there to help. Our room was large and well appointed. The room was serviced every day and tea, coffee and water were replaced every day. They had an urn with tea in the reception which we found was lovely to make a tea then sit outside the front door on the footpath on their table and chairs and watch the world go by. We also found the music from the club a bit annoying on the first night but we pulled out the earplugs and it was fine. One of the things about being in a hotel that is central.
