The goat curry had very good flavor in it and the goat came off the bone. Even if you don’t get it, ask for the gravy on your rice. The chicken saquur was flavorful and juicy. The veggie sides were amazing too. Ordering is a little confusing, but ask the servers behind the counter for help if you’re confused.

What a surprise we had finding this gem! A Somalian food joint which was amazing in the variety they offered. All freshly cooked and great service too. A lot of people do take outs but many dine in too . Quiet a lot of seating in the restaurant . You order first and then find a table. Portion sizes were big. I did see some people doing communal eating on the big portions. Very friendly staff and they also have a small variety of desserts if one has a sweet tooth. Lots of parking as it's a small strip mall

This is my 2nd time coming to this place as I am an “out of towner” and love the service and hospitality this restaurant offers. You’ll always find the best food at places you would never think of venturing to. Thanks.

The Sambusis are not good. They are all half cooked, the dough and the meat and the fish as well. So I don't recommend. The Canjeera (the Somali pancake is mediocre. Actually I was surprised. They keep it covered with a steam which makes it way softer.

I was surprised to find this place. Food is delicious and really tastes like home cooking. Staff were friendly and helpful to someone who doesn't know the culture.

From Dinner Date to Toilet Fate Their shawarma motto should be ; “Come for the flavor, stay in the bathroom.” Last night me and my mom were sick all night. I’m a breastfeeding mom, and instead of bonding with my baby, I bonded with the toilet. 10/10 would NOT recommend

I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and always enjoyed coming here, even traveling all the way from Hamilton to Toronto just for the food and desserts. Normally, everything is excellent and worth the trip, but this time I was really disappointed. We ordered the milk cake, which is usually one of my favorites, but it tasted off — almost like the milk was expired. It was very different from what I’m used to, and not good at all. We spent over $30, and for the first time it didn’t feel worth it. I’ve always trusted the quality here, so this experience was really upsetting. I truly hope this was just a one-time issue, because I’ve always loved this place and want to continue supporting it. L bought 3 milk cake 2 coconut and on Oreo. Can

Top down honest review…. 1am take out.. First impressions.. waiting 10 minutes before being acknowledged.. there were 2 other people inside the place. Took 15 minutes to walk in. Get rice and chicken, and leave.. way too long, I don’t understand their process.. Finally a Girl took my order; friendly, informative, polite, explaining the food. Food; hot, flavourful, fresh tasting, interesting and different.
