iStay Hotel Monterrey Histórico

The staff is great, the room is very comfortable and the bed is great. Breakfast Buffet doesn't have much options and you really have to be there early otherwise there is less options, but if you get items from the menu, the food is deliciouse and they are quick, the waiters are very helpful and very quick with everything. The place is super central there is plenty of options outside to eat and there is also some convenient stores to buy from if you need a medicine or just some goodies for the night. One last thing, if you need a taxi, use the app Didi Ride, do not use the hotel taxis, they are super expensive, a ride I paid 60 on Didi, was 200 with the taxis of the hotel.

Great location; however, the hotel does not provide floor towels for the shower/tub. The food at the restaurant was cold. My friend and I ordered food early in the evening and was extremely cold. Breakfast buffet is great and hot. Internet connection is unstable.

Counted 10 bed bugs just on the headboard. Informed the property and they cancelled the booking for a refund, which i never received. Location is great but even without considering the bed bugs, it’s is worn down. Book somewhere else. Tenga cuidado porque hay mucho chinches😭 el trabajador me dijo que pude recibir un reembolso pero nunca lo recibí.

Loved my stay here for a week. They have really good location with an amazing restaurant that serves all the delicious dishes. Almost everyone in the reception can speak English and is very helpful. The hotel strictly maintains Covid rules and I liked that. The pool is awesome but is open through reservation only. I wish i had my room on one of the upper floors to have the beautiful view of the mountains!! Overall i am happy with the service. It's worth every penny and I highly recommend it

No hot water. A/C did not work properly. Bed sheets smelled unclean. There was a leak in the restroom and they tried to blame it on us. You can't go to any other floors besodes yours. I had a family member on 3rd floor and she had to go to lobby every time so I could go up to her ropm. Ridiculous. Old hotel in bad shape. Do not stay here

The rooms are with very thin walls we couldn’t sleep because of the noise of the next door guest ||We called the front desk 2 times and decided to turn the tv for other noise besides the drunk neighbors. And when we were finally falling asleep they tried to open the door communicating the rooms. We were so upset

Located in the centre you have most things within walking distance. I did book a superior room expecting a view from the higher floors, but ended up on the 3rd floor in level og a tenniscourt. My guess is that the "superior" was a new bedspread, nothing else seemed new or updated.||||Room was of good size, doublebed and comfy pillows. Telly and wifi. ||Bathroom quite outdated but plenty of hot water. ||Cleaned everyday, cleaning staff friendly.||||Hotel has 2 lifts, when one does not work you must expect waiting for a while to get to your room.||||Breakfast was served in the affiliated restaurant, choices from the card. Tasty and fresh.||||Check in and out was quick and staff at the front desk very friendly and helpful.||My rating would be 3 stars, a good 3 star hotel.

Location is a very bussy walking people area, and the room we stayed in, was stsined caroects and lost the light in the restroom, and they anly provided 2 towells for four guests, and the elevator was always malfunctioning, The only advantage is that everything to eat is just there, and shops on the side walk provide you with some entertainment. Over all not a good hotel.
