We have stayed here previously and that time they put us kn what I assume is the newer side of the hotel. The side we were on this time was awful. It was old and it reminded me of a motel 6 stateside. It smelled old and stale. The first room had a hint of cigarette smells so we were moved. The sheets felt awful. It was the strangest material I have ever felt in my life. We went back to our apartment to grab blankets because it was just uncomfortable. We really enjoyed it last time, but I was just disappointed with this time. The staff was very kind, check in easy, and covid stuff all in check.

I spent around $120 for a Saturday night in May. This was booked the morning of. Great compromise between distance of walking (~4 minutes) and price relative to being right on the strip. Clean hotel with a short walk from the Itaewon nightlife, subway, and shopping. If you don’t already know, Itaewon is a great area to hang out. The rooms were outdated by still very clean and comfortable. Zero complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not use any of the amenities so I can’t speak on that. By the way, the rooms don’t come with toothpaste so you might have to pick some up or ask the front desk. I will be staying here again next time I’m in Itaewon.

This is a huge hotel with many different wings on it to stay in. The check in desk area is beautiful. Everyone speaks English, but the rooms are a bit older and ran down. The hallway carpet appeared to have never been cleaned. Once you leave the concierge desk, the place starts showing its age. The prices nare reasonable and let's you save time and money but being in walking distance of all the adventures in Iteawon.

Pretty good standard tourist hotel. Booked fairly last minute and got a deal on a double room. Room was fine across the board. The mini fridge was hidden in a cupboard that looked like drawers from the outside so it took us a day to find it haha. My only real complaint would be that the A/C was very weak in the room on a hot and humid weekend in May.

Some friends of mine and I stayed at the Crown Hotel for 2 nights. The lobby is pristine, but our rooms were quite the opposite! Outdated furniture, very few electrical outlets, and very low ceilings. Taking a shower was an exercise in interpretive dance! Don't let the lobby fool you, this place was nice at one time, but not anymore.

The bonuses here are price and location. If you love Itaewon and prefer to drop your won at the shops and restaurants nearby instead of the place you stay, then the Crown is the place. If you're planning on spending most of your waking hours in your hotel, then just stay home. The staff is courteous and multilingual. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I've only stayed here twice but both times, the wifi was shaky both times. That could be a deal-breaker for some. The first time our room didn't have a chair and table but the second time it did. Still, I have to admit that both times I slept like a baby. The Crown is a good place. I'll be staying here again.

Found a dangerous looking insect on the side desk hardly an hour after checking into the room. Tried to kill it but it disappeared under the bed. Later a gecko scampered across the floor. Didn't know they ran an insect park here. Dated bedroom furniture. Only saving grace is it's price for it's location. Staff is friendly though.

TERRIBLE WEDDING VENUE! THE WEDDING VENUE ORGANIZERS HERE TRY TO ADD EXTRA CHARGES AND WHEN YOU CONTEST THE CHARGES, THEY GET NASTY! STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! What kind of customer service is that? I would give this place zero stars if I could. The hotel rooms are also dismal. The beds are about as comfortable as a straw mat. I would only recommend this place to people I despise.
