Italian by Night

If you haven’t been to this restaurant yet, what are you waiting for? From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service that made us feel right at home. It was our first visit, and we couldn’t recommend it enough! Every dish was a hit—our entire group loved their meals. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced and refreshing. The highlight for me was the spaghetti (a special not listed on the menu) recommended by our server. It came with two incredibly flavorful meatballs and tasted like it was made fresh just for us. To finish, I had the sorbet, which was light, refreshing, and bursting with fresh flavors. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible evening at Italian by Night Trattoria as we celebrated our wedding anniversary! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly arranged as requested in our booking. Our server, Charlotte, was simply fantastic; she took care of all our needs with a warm smile and pleasant demeanor, making us feel special throughout the night. The hot towels before meal was also a night touch but they should add a touch of eucalyptus 😏 The meals were outstanding—each dish was a delightful experience for the palate. We couldn't resist indulging in the desserts, and they were nothing short of divine! The crème brûlée and pavlova were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. While our wine took a little longer to arrive, the exceptional service and delicious food more than made up for the delay. We left with full hearts and happy memories, thankful for such a wonderful evening. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a fantastic meal, I highly recommend Italian by Night Trattoria. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

On arrival everyone was friendly. Our food was delicious. We ordered chicken dishes. Our waiter Michael was very accomodating - Helping us in our selection of food. He knew how to be attentive with anything we needed. He chatted with us and showed interest in our reason for celebrating . The whole experience was excellent. Certainly will be returning.

Excellent food from start to finish. Lively adult atmosphere. I will remember their Scoglio for years to come. Delicious. Only downside is that reservations seem to be booked back to back, so don’t be surprised if you are delayed if those before you are taking too long like we unfortunately were. Word of advice… if you don’t see availability on OpenTable, try calling in for a reservation and they may be able to squeeze you in.

Out of a group of 10, all of us had incredible meals. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. One interesting note, although the restaurant was packed, we could still have a conversation at our table, which is rare at a busy restaurant, but a welcome change.

Great Italian place in the Saint John area. Food was good, but slightly expensive. Also, some dishes seemed under seasoned while others were over seasoned. Service was great, as our server was terrific and made the dinner experience more enjoyable. All in all, definitely a place with great food, but their prices seem high for what you get.

A nice atmosphere and server was great. Appetizers and desserts were pretty good but the main entrees were hit and miss with pizza a big miss. 2.5 hours from ordering to bill so don't be in a rush.

We do not go out for supper very often and Italian By Night far surpassed our expectations last night! The restaurant was beautiful, the servers and hosts were wonderful and friendly (especially our server Jesse) and the meal was exceptional! We had the warmed olive antipasti and it was an excellent choice! It wasn’t a heavy start to the meal and actually gave us lots of time to enjoy it while our main meals were prepared! If they deliver this level of service for every visit, you should definitely check them out!!! Congratulations!
