Itali.co Sorrento

This has to be one of Melbournes best italian secret finds. It is consistently delicious and might be the one of the only remaining restaurants where they dont skimp on toppings on the pizza, seafood in the risotto and the copious amounts of bacon in the carbonara. Every bite is just like this is YUM. The serving sizes are also generous, you get what you pay for here. Your in Sorrento right on the beach what do you expect, seen some negative reviews which need to be ignored. The staff are super friendly, the restaurant is spacious and quiet even when full, its just a vibe

We have eaten at Italico on multiple occasions and we have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, flavoursome and such generous serves for the price. It’s hard to find quality fine food in Sorrento and Italico has provided on our trips.

The food quality is average and overpriced. While the prawn dish was tasty, the portion was very small with only four pieces, and the pizza was overly salty. Service was inconsistent. The waitress near the main door was rude and unaccommodating when we requested an outdoor table with a sea view, despite all the tables being empty. This left us feeling quite uncomfortable. On the positive side, the young waitress with long golden hair provided excellent service. She was friendly, hardworking, and quick to assist. The extra star in my rating is solely for her efforts.

first time in Sorrento and walked past this place with my partner, all of the staff were lovely and pizza was perfectly cooked. Will definitely be coming back next time we are in Sorrento :)

16 cousins and myself enjoyed a meal at Italia.co. Everyone spoke very highly of the flavour, presentation and size of meals. Service was amazing with all meals and drinks being together so we could all eat at same time. Same with beverages. Would definitely return.

Phone order Pizza. Ordered and paid for extra toppings. A $75 let down, do better. Disappointed.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Australia situated on the beautiful Victorian Peninsula, fun staff, fun atmosphere, the Vodka prawns were yum. We highly recommend Itali.co

To be honest, some of the reviews surprise me. I’ve been dining at itali.co since they launched just over 10 years ago, on a regular basis and can only rave about every meal I’ve had. Never have I walked away disappointed. My fave is the ravioli which has changed slightly over the years. It packs a punch for flavour and the main course size is ample. Let’s get started on the stone cooked pizzas. The base is light and crusty and full of delicious authentic toppings. Sure, I’ve seen lots of new faces wielding the itali.co apron and they are efficient and deliver your food without fuss. The Nutella pizza also slaps, don’t go without at least sharing a dessert pizza. Great location, fresh authentic Italian food, ticks every box.
