The food quality is average and overpriced. While the prawn dish was tasty, the portion was very small with only four pieces, and the pizza was overly salty. Service was inconsistent. The waitress near the main door was rude and unaccommodating when we requested an outdoor table with a sea view, despite all the tables being empty. This left us feeling quite uncomfortable. On the positive side, the young waitress with long golden hair provided excellent service. She was friendly, hardworking, and quick to assist. The extra star in my rating is solely for her efforts.

Great food. Great view. Nice staff. I really don't understand some of the grumpy people with their 1 star reviews. This place is nice. Sorry, but things are a little more expensive in portsea. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

To be honest, some of the reviews surprise me. I’ve been dining at itali.co since they launched just over 10 years ago, on a regular basis and can only rave about every meal I’ve had. Never have I walked away disappointed. My fave is the ravioli which has changed slightly over the years. It packs a punch for flavour and the main course size is ample. Let’s get started on the stone cooked pizzas. The base is light and crusty and full of delicious authentic toppings. Sure, I’ve seen lots of new faces wielding the itali.co apron and they are efficient and deliver your food without fuss. The Nutella pizza also slaps, don’t go without at least sharing a dessert pizza. Great location, fresh authentic Italian food, ticks every box.

Food was very good. I wouldn’t order the gnocchi again. I just go straight to pizzas. They were some of the best pizzas I’ve had ever. I forgot to take a photo of the pizzas.

We ordered the bufala pizza and the spaghetti alle vongole. The pasta was amazing! Simple but robust flavours, seasoned perfectly. Very generous with the clams as well. We couldn’t get enough of the sauce and ended up dipping our pizza crust in it, soaking it all up. Clean plates! + Good service + nice location

Service when we arrived was very tentive and it was busy so we were pretty excited. Once we ordered however, the food (pasta and salad) came out in 5mins! Pasta takes at least 8mins to cook and yet here it was and was undercooked and tasted awful! Food was terrible and overpriced, salad was horrible and such a tiny portion. My pizza came out 20mins later, where food should have come together but chorizo was overcooked and only scattered on one side instead of all over. We couldn't finish our food and watching everyone else food come out and the terrible appearance it had, not sure how this is good standard. They were definitely overstaffed which is sometimes a good thing when busy but not if everything is being rush and no time is taken to appreciate what is being delivered. Definitely do not recommend.

Attended for a Hens lunch so a group booking. Food was incredible and plenty of it... there was food left over & we were a hungry lot. After a very well stocked charcuterie board, we had 3 different delicious pizzas, 3 pastas, salad and chips! We were on a time schedule... Hen's business... and they accommodated brilliantly. The wine selection was fantastic too.

We were looked after so well and everyone did a great job. We were a group of 11 people, we all received the food at the same time and it came really quickly. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. Thank you everyone for your wonderful work!
