Google
Stopped by Itality Plant Based Food for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is full of popular American classics—think burgers, nachos, and sandwiches—all done vegan. I tried the nachos, which were solid overall, though they could’ve used a bit more seasoning to really pop. The vibe is super chill and laid back, perfect for a relaxed lunch. You can tell this place is a local favorite, with regulars coming in and out. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving plant-based comfort food in ABQ.

Google
I had the OG Nachos Supreme and they were so good. The quinoa in it is an excellent idea. Definitely a good choice if you want leftovers because it's so big. The service was great. I also tried the blue corn bread and pueblo cookies which were also very good.

Google
Do yourself, your friends, and family a favor and check this place out! And don't sleep on their frybread. We were only in town a couple days but could not help but come here again. The food was incredible, flavorful, healthy, and vegan! Plus by eating here you are supporting a locally native owned vegan spot!

OMG! The green chile lentil stew and Jemez Enchiladas were incredible! It might make me into a vegan! I can’t wait to try the fried oyster mushrooms and waffles! Fresh squeezed prickly pear lemonade too. Wow!

Google
I am so thankful I had the opportunity to try this welcoming plant-based Pueblo cuisine, while visiting Albuquerque,NM! I ordered the shrooms and waffle, with fry bread on the side and paired with Omega Green smoothie and prickly pear lemonade. Everything tasted delicious, healthy and filling. I look forward to trying more menu items when I visit the area again. The space was inviting as well as the staff. They do have intimate indoor seating but I opted to get my food to go.

Google
I ordered the Hey Miss Enchilada and really enjoyed it. My dinner partners said the Pueblo-style fry bread was delicious.

Google
The pumpkin sauce was SO good on the NDN taco. Definitely could taste it. Absolutely worth stopping by!

Google
Delicious! My one shot to eat out while in New Mexico and I chose wisely. The fry bread was amazing!

Yelp
It's so rare to find a vegan place that satisfies every person in my little family, especially now that we have a kiddo. This was AMAZING! We got the special, which was an Indian Taco made with potato's, kale, beans, red chile, and squash on fry bread. OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD! We got the waffle for the little, and it is packed with all the healthy things but still taste like a sweet treat-- she LOVED it, and so did we. Lastly, we got the fry bread plate, kinda like the taco but with less stuff on it. 10/10 recommend and WILL be back!

Yelp
We're always looking for places with good vegan food and Itality did not disappoint us. The "Whole Enchilada" made for a substantial and tasty lunch and fueled me up for a lengthy bike ride later in the afternoon. The place is super casual -- order at the counter and they bring the food out when it's ready. Service was prompt the day we were there. There aren't many tables inside, but if the weather is nice there are as twice as many outside. Ordering take away might be a better option for many customers.

Yelp
This is a tiny little vegan place near the Indian cultural center in Albuquerque. I am a bona fide carnivore, so I had to keep an open mind on coming here. The place is tiny with only a few tables lining the walls, but it does have several tables outside. You ordered the counter and they will bring the food to your table. There's not much to the decor, but it's nice enough with some live plants. We ordered the Blue Corn Amaranth Waffles with berry compote, the Avocado Zorah Bayla Toast, and the Italian NDN Taco. While the textures could take a non-vegan person some getting used to, all the flavors were spot on and delicious!

Yelp
The first time I went here, I got the enchilada plate and didn't like it at all, as it was very dry and not very flavorful, same with the corn bread, even though the ingredients and place were up my alley- vegan, healthier, and the chance to support an indigenous owned place. This time, I loved my fry bread topped with black beans, veggies, and an amazing creamy garlic sauce so much. The frybread was so fresh and tasty and not oily like they usually are- it really did seem healthier. It is a tiny place, but nice light ambience. Staff have been nice. The prices are kind of all over the place- some things seem reasonable, others like the tamale plate seem high. After my last visit, I'm excited to go back!

Yelp
Fresh, healthy, tasty. I had the salad with the falafel. It's was very good! I also ordered an iced tea. It seemed sweet, which was a treat but I really prefer unsweetened tea. Selections are limited. Especially the drinks. I also sampled the almond raspberry cookie, it was divine. I'm sold, I'll be back !

Yelp
I AM STUFFED! This food was absolutely delicious and I would eat more but there is no room in my tummy. This is small venue with outdoor seating and very limited indoor seating. You go in and read the menu on the wall and then place your order. They bring the food to your table. When I tell you that the seasoning on the tamale was Everything!? It was everything! I ate the tamale first to save the waffle for a dessert. It did not need the syrup at all. I still have over half the waffle to take with me. It was so so delicious. My friend and I looked at one another in amazement at just so how good this little unassuming restaurant food is. I asked if somebody's Grandma was in the back cooking because it's that good.

Yelp
I will preface my review by saying before I walked in, I thought it was going to be vegan Italian food. So I guess I was expecting pasta dishes, and that kind of stuff. This is a really cute, casual, counter service restaurant, that offers New Mexican and Pueblo style foods. I wasn't really sure what to get, so I got a feast bowl. It was quinoa, kale, and garbanzo beans. I wish it had more flavor, and maybe a sauce. It wasn't bad, I just don't know if I would go out of my way to get it. I think next time I will try a different dish.

Yelp
We went for a belated Mother's Day outing and ordered the gf breakfast tacos and a quinoa bowl and washed them down with a prickly pear lemonade. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality and flavor. The server was attentive and helpful, and the outdoor patio was extremely quiet and serene.

Yelp
Visited this place for the first time back in September and had a lovely experience. I'm not so sure Arrived about 5:30pm for an early dinner. The only item that they were out of was the waffles. They serve breakfast all day but we were focused on dinner type food. For a group of 4 we got one large nachos to share. My partner and I split an Ital NDN Taco and a Whole Enchilada. Our companions, with smaller appetites, got the daily stew (bean based) and a one-tamale plate. Turned out to be a ton of food! It was all really yummy and we did bring home the leftover to turn into a future breakfast. Very fun to get an indian taco at a vegan spot. The chile was flavorful but not very spicy. We also got the tea, both black and herbal. They were fine but nothing to write home about. There are not a lot of tables, a few inside and a few outside, but we were happy with our outdoor seating arrangement. Although it faces a parking lot, it wasn't too busy and it was nice to not be alongside a road. The service was great. One person taking orders who was very friendly and able to answer all our questions, who was also the person that brought our food to us outside. Overall we'd happily return again and again. The main limiting factor for me is the hours - they are open 10-5 Weds-Sun, so if you want dinner it's gotta be pretty early!

Yelp
The cashier reminded me of Lyanna Mormont, the courageous Game of Thrones character played by actress Bella Ramsey. She greeted us and efficiently took our order of ten people. See the photos of flavorful, colorful, authentic dishes with names like Sacred Salad, Jemez or Hey Miss Enchilada, and OG Nachos. I loved the Berry Blessed smoothies. They also offered fresh juice. My Chia chocolate pudding hit the spot!

Yelp
You have to like vegan options for this pace but also it is done with a southwest pueblo style. I am afraid as ir gets colder seating will be an issue, but the food is great. Honestly you won't know there is not meat! I was impressed The location is growing as more places come in, come check it out and support local vendors
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
Delicious! I'm glad they expanded their hours. Don't miss out on this place. Very flavorful and healthy

Megan M.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to get healthy amazing food. But I first ate there when they first opened it lacked a lot, but they have really stepped up 10 notches and it is an amazing place to get healthy food. Everything is Matt from scratch, vegan you can get something decadent like nachos (they make their own cheese sauce with pumpkin!) or The Indian taco or you can stick to something more basic and super balancing like the feast bowl, which is quinoa, the bean of the day with red chili, and it comes with kale and avocado. The kind of food I would make it home, but you can get it on the go and not expensive! the staff is really friendly and very attentive the owner if she's there, which I think she's always there will come out and talk to customers and just seems like all in all pretty healthy place to work. Definitely recommend it!!! Excellent red chili!
google avatar

Carol H.

Yelp
We ate here last Saturday for the second time and everything was just as good as the first time. We had the Pueblo Pizza, the sauce was amazing and the bread was wonderful. We also had the red chile lentil soup and it was so good. Just the right amount of heat! Can't wait to go back to try the tamales .

Angel M.

Yelp
Very yummy and healthy food. Clean healthy eating. Limited amount of seating inside, so we sat outside. It was chilly but was okay! Free water. Got the Navajo taco and berry smoothie
google avatar

Bert H.

Yelp
We ordered a feast bowl. My wife has chronic acid reflux and the kale and beans are flavored with red chili we called and asked if it could remade without chili. We were told no you will have to pay for another one. They said you should have told us. I said when you asked if wanted to add chili to the bowl I said no because my wife has acid reflux. They state they never heard that.

Yelp
I have eaten at Itality a handful of times, as I come to Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico periodically for work. Whenever possible, I treat myself to Itality; I have tried several dishes and have been completely satisfied with everything I have ordered thus far. Today, I will focus on the Hey Miss Enchiladas. OMG, these were so delicious and rival the "real thing" in almost every way. I highly recommend Itality and the Hey Miss Enchiladas to every and anyone, vegans and non-vegans alike. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Aside from the food, the ambiance was extremely welcoming. In fact, I had a very pleasure conversation with the owner. In addition, the restaurant was spotless and the lemon water was chilled and refreshing. Everything came out exactly as I expected, actually a little faster than I anticipated. Itality is an amazing additional to the Albuquerque food scene. Definitely check it out.

Autumn C.

Yelp
Itality is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere and service were friendly and great. The food.... the food was heavenly. Their fry bread special was heavenly, perhaps the best dish I've ever had. It is wonderful to have a place to go to that has amazing vegan food ( not only healthy, but delicious and filling) as well as perfect service. The people I went with are not vegan, and they loved it!
google avatar

Leena B.

Yelp
The service was great, first time going & I will definitely be going back. It's such a cute little restaurant I hope one day they are able to expand their business! The food had me amazed, I couldn't stop telling my sister how impressed I was & the presentation as well!
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
I had the "ital ndn taco" today, and it was delicious! The food is creative, not like anything I have had living in SF Bay Area. Good portion for the price. Service was fast, and everyone working there, from the cashier to the chefs, was very friendly. My sister had her dog, so we ate outside, but the inside looked more comfortable and warmer this time of year.
google avatar

Yelp
I was so happy to hear there's a vegan place opening up because they are few and far between, but honestly I was pretty disappointed. We order the sacred salad, which was overpriced in my opinion, and pretty lackluster. There wasn't much to it at all, and the falafel was too mushy. We also got the taco, and it was just fried dough with beans on top and a tiny amount of lettuce, tomato, and avocado. There wasn't much flavor at all. The beans were meh. This is random but a side note, the name of this restaurant is kind of confusing. For some reason we thought it was going to be Italian vegan food. It was mostly salads and New Mexican food. We paid $40 for two tacos and one salad. Probably won't be back.

Josh M.

Yelp
I love this place. I've eaten there three times and the food is consistently delicious, healthy and good value!

Richard C.

Yelp
Fresh and fabulously delicious. Vegan food that actually tastes like food or eats that are not full of chemicals and addictive additives. No skimping on ingredients. Healthiest Burritos in the Albuquerque. Down to Earth employees who actually appear to enjoy their place of employment and finally the selection is perfect! Who really needs to flip through six pages of greasy menus. Quiet and calming atmosphere. Outdoor sitting availability. You wont have to scream at your partner to converse. Family Friendly, Great Location with Easy Accessibility. Highly Recommended-

Yelp
Love, love it! The vibe, the owner, the staff all showed how much they cate by the character of the food provided. Indigenous fusion with Ital will fulfill your vegan palate with the wonderful mix of style, ingredients, and culture. Eat for health, eat Itality!!!

Cait C.

Yelp
the food was absolutely incredible. the fry bread taco was perfect, and the waffle was also soooooo good. the cuisine here is so unique. great service also.

Yelp
Amazing vegan food, delicious native style dishes, reasonable prices, and they even sell the bread they make their pizza with witch me and my husband LOVE to make at home and get to share a homey yummy meal with out of town guests.

Kristen F.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic! I wish I had taken a picture . We will be back before we leave town . Service was sweet , her suggestions were terrific . The food is healthy and scrumptious and the restaurant is spotless . I can't say enough good things !
google avatar

Yelp
We've been twice now, and I have to say that this hits the spot like nothing else in town. It's so thoughtful with ingredients and menu items - everything we've ordered is delicious as well as aesthetically stunning. The freshly pressed juice of the day (beet + ginger) made the top of my head tingle . The atole, NDN Pueblo Taco, and the "Ras Special" (not on menu) with tofu scramble, papitas, zucchini, kale, and black beans - almost makes you want to cry. All of the staff is so kind and accommodating, I also appreciated that it was a kid friendly environment. I can't wait to see this place grow and evolve in the upcoming years. We'll be back soon.

Mark M.

Yelp
We've watched this young native woman entrepeneur turn her dream into a reality. The food is top-shelf and so delicious! All fresh. We can't wait to try all of the menu offerings. Itality is NOT Italian food. Think VITALITY! https://www.italitynm.com/
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
We had a fantastic meal at Itality. The owner was super friendly and there were so many delicious plant-based options. The pizza and the tamales were amazing, and the atmosphere was nice and clean. We also had a great dessert! Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Highly recommend, will be back!

Dorothy S.

Yelp
I love everything on the menu. My favorite is the feast bowl. Most vegan restaurants try to substitute highly processed substitutes for meat. The nice thing about Italicity is you know exactly what you are eating. Fresh, wholesome food. I love that they avoid cane sugar. Their tea and lemonade are sweetened with agave. None of the smoothies are sweetened other than naturally.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
Let's start by saying we are not vegan, not even vegetarian. However, I can appreciate creative vegan food and love vegetables. We were so impressed with the nachos supreme that we ordered; we didn't miss the cheese nor meat. The falafel was delicious and moist as well. I can't wait to try the atole. This place was a nice change of pace from all the heavy dishes we have been eating on this trip. It satisfied our craving for something fresh. I will definitely visit this place when I return to visit.

Sandy B.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, flavorful food and friendly service. Highly recommend paying them a visit. There are so many great options on the menu that you may have a hard time choosing just one thing!
google avatar

Morgan L.

Yelp
I just wanted to add that all of Itality's to go packaging so far has been compostable. HUGE kudos to them! I know that can be more expensive for the business so I hope they know that their commitment is appreciated and its another reason I come back for lunch just about every week!

Monique F.

Yelp
I'm a regular! Love the flavor profiles of the food and the GF options are great. For me the OG Nacho Supreme and Prickly Pear Lemonade are a must!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
Food was awesome- we had the breakfast burritos and the chocolate chia pudding. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Food is unlike any other place in town, such a delicious mix of native, plant based items and ingredients. We will definitely be back, can't wait to try more dishes.

George C.

Yelp
Went to breakfast and it was so good. Shared the breakfast burrito ( with Christmas) and the waffle plate. Since good vegan food is hard to find, we took a shot, and enjoyed it very much. Will surely be back to try other items. It is not priced like a fast food place, but that is to be expected with the quality of ingredients and artful presentation.

Peach B.

Yelp
The food is delicious. It's flavourful and wholesome and I like that everything is vegan. The staff is really friendly. However, this restaurant is very often not open during its regularly posted hours. They also accept and charge for online orders when closed and they also accept online orders for sold out items. I have only managed to successfully eat here once after trying four separate times. The single time I was able to actually eat here they were out of the majority of the menu and it barely an hour after opening. Almost impossible to support this business when these ridiculous business issues prevent me from ever actually eating here. Absolutely will not be back, which sucks because there aren't that many vegan options in this area :(

aupercolls N.

Yelp
Good service food was good but smoothies aren't As I like them not much seating but very nice
google avatar

Bryan S.

Yelp
The food is delicious. This is a must for vegans and vegetarians. I will be returning for sure. The tamales are awesome.

Beata T.

Yelp
I live a couple hours from Itality, but when I'm in Albuquerque eating here is a joy and way to nurture myself and my family. I also prefer supporting Native owned and led business and Tina is a gem in being rooted in place and following her passion with this restaurant! Wether you want a light but satisfying smoothie or slad or something more hearty there is a range of options. I can't wait to try the breakfast menu next time I'm in town. Delicious and nutritious!

Zip D.

Yelp
Wonderful, creative, healthy, plant-based, Pueblo food of New Mexico. Thank you for this offering!

S S.

Yelp
Outstanding plant based indigenous food. Had a lentil n green chile soup n loved it. Also had their red chile enchilada and devoured it.

K M.

Yelp
Utterly delicious! I also love that the online ordering is easy and offers extensive options for customization--not that we needed them--the food is perfect as-is!
