We were there for buffet dinner last evening to celebrate my twin cousins( from Sydney)milestone birthday. We choose to go to a 7 star place not just for the food but for the overall ambience and experience and its the responsibility of the hotel management to provide that. There were 2 corporate teams present and the restaurant was noisy, long queues , messy even at the counters, spillage all over, the ambience resembled local idli/ dosa hotel. Seriously, corporate dinners could be held privately in banquet halls or do not accept booking from others for buffet dinner when there are large corporate bookings.
Our overall experience was not a good one though the helpless waiter at our table served us well and was polite and apologetic.
Seriously corporates need to train their employees on dining and social etiquette.
