ITC Rajputana, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Jaipur

I had a really good stay here. The hotel has a very calming ambience, the lobby and the rooms both feel warm and pleasant. My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained throughout my visit. I also happened to meet Mr. Rakesh, one of the managers, and he was honestly very kind. He checked on us a couple of times just to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt really genuine, not just routine. Small things like that make a stay feel special. Overall, great ambience, good service, and very caring staff. Would definitely come back.

best place to stay in jaipur. i study here so i have a lot of instances where i have to stay at a hotel for 1 night. best hotel, i always go here like once a month and they never dissapoint. and especially their restaunts. they have the best food in india according to me.

Went as part of larger Rajasthan holiday, think quite basic hotel, probably good as a business hotel, not good for vacation, people looking for luxury trip. Certainly not luxury as it claims, quite busy to be called luxurious. Whilst overall service was okay’ish, the rude behaviour and approach of talking by the staff to my driver couldn’t be ignored. They insisted him to remove the car from the lobby, even though I was arriving and almost ganged up on him to achieve the outcome. Otherwise, think not great for vacation or people looking for luxury, probably good for basic business trips (1/2 day efficient stay).

ITC Hotels are known for their classy vibe and really comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a relaxed experience. The food is a big highlight—super tasty, lots of variety, and great quality.

From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with a level of care and attentiveness that felt like staying with family… if your family were impeccably trained hospitality professionals who anticipate needs you didn’t even know you had. Their dedication to guest comfort is truly unmatched. The room was spotless — I mean sparkling — and the bed? Selma, that bed hugged me better than half the people I know. Soft, comfy, and impossible to get out of without at least one moment of “Do I really need to leave?” The decor throughout the hotel is stunning. Rich, elegant, warm, and beautifully inspired by Rajasthan — it felt like stepping into a royal palace with modern comforts woven in. Every interaction, every detail, every moment at ITC Rajputana made my stay unforgettable. If you're going to Jaipur, don’t walk… run to this hotel. We chose to stay at this hotel based on a strong recommendation from our Indian friend, so we were genuinely excited and had high expectations, especially after experiencing other 5-star hotels in India. Unfortunately, I’m sorry to say that the experience fell far below what we had hoped for.||The only real saving grace of this hotel is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely kind, friendly, and eager to help. ||Our biggest concern was the water. Brown water came out of the hot tap in the sink in our original room. We had to move rooms anyway due to needing a different bed configuration, but even in the new room the hot water was brown. Maintenance was sent and told us to simply run the water until it turned clear, which it eventually did. However, every single time we turned on the hot water, it would start brown again before clearing up. This made us very uncomfortable and paranoid about using the hot water at all. When we suggested this might be a larger building-wide issue, the maintenance person denied it. At checkout, we raised the issue again, and the staff were apologetic and refunded the extra rollaway bed charges for one room, which we appreciated. They also mentioned that there was city work affecting the water supply and that the water was “perfectly safe,” though it’s unclear why this wasn’t communicated upfront.||One member of our group also got food poisoning after breakfast. At the time we weren’t certain it was from the hotel since the rest of us were fine, but after later seeing multiple reviews mentioning food poisoning, it does make us question whether the breakfast was indeed the cause, especially since he became sick shortly after eating.||The rooms themselves smell musty, and the bathrooms were not very clean. There was visible mold and mildew in the corners, and overall the rooms and the property feel very dated. Even small things, like the hair dryer, looked like they were barely functional and long overdue for replacement.||We were also uncomfortable with the drinking water situation. The water bottles provided in the rooms were not sealed, only taped shut. Given the overall cleanliness and maintenance issues, we didn’t trust them and ended up buying our own bottled water for the entire stay.||Cleanliness in the public toilets around the property was inconsistent. They were usually clean early in the day, but by evening there were puddles on the seats and floors, seemingly from bidet use, making them unpleasant to use.||Finally, our shower didn’t drain properly, despite having a very large drain, which added to the general sense of poor upkeep.||Overall, while the staff truly tried their best and were genuinely kind, the hotel itself suffers from serious maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene issues. Sadly, this was not the experience we were expecting based on the recommendation, and we wouldn’t choose to stay here again without significant improvements.

I recently stayed at ITC Rajputana and had a wonderful experience. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation for luxury and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a royal touch. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast spread which had a great variety of options. A special mention to Shalu from the staff for her excellent service and friendly attitude. She made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Her professionalism and warmth really stood out

The property is massive. Lots of walking to get to our rooms. The rooms feel a bit dated and there is a bit of a musty / smoky odor to the place. They brought in a dehumidifier/purifier. Room was also a bit small.||We ate dinner at Peshawari which was very average. Breakfast buffet was good 3.5/5.||The reason for the relatively poor review was the that our entire family got sick. Some violently. We did not eat outside the hotel at all. The only water consumed was in glass bottles. We feel it is either Peshawari or water.||We saw these at several hotels in India - Taj, Le Meridien, Leela. It is my cousin's opinion ( an Indian native living there) that the glass refillable bottles are not a guarantee of safety and they may be being filled by tap. I can't say for sure.|| Having had the experience, I think, going forward, I would only drink from plastic water bottles of reputable companies - Kinley, Bisleri, etc. Unless you are at the Leela.||Service was responsive and good.
