It's the best beer ever! The fish fries are so delicious! I love this place. You should definitely check it out when you're in Ithaca.

Stopped here after a great hike at Buttermilk Falls (3 minutes away.). Wonderful selection of beers! Plus the tasting room has a fantastic outdoor view overlooking cornfield. Highly recommend!!!

Google
I love this place, and I always take guests here, especially the beer lovers! I don't drink beer, but I LOVE their fresh root beer on tap. Sometimes, I order a shot of vodka and add it to my root beer. The food is so delicious and locally derived. You can sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous view, or sit in the air conditioning inside. It's a fun atmosphere. Update: We had Meredith as our server, and she was so sweet and helpful. We ate the burger, grilled cheese, fry flight, cheddar ale soup, and chicken sandwich. All food was delicious! Update: the seasonal beet salad with chicken is amazing! The bacon nibs are mostly the fatty part, if that's what you like.

Google
Plenty of good varieties of beer, good quality food, and good non alcoholic options as well. Friendly servers and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The only issue is that the wait staff and bartenders, while friendly, don't seem to know anything about their beer.

Google
We stopped by Ithaca Beer Co on a Wednesday afternoon while vacationing in Ithaca. I’ve had a few of their beers before, so I was excited to check out their brewery. I was not disappointed in the slightest. They have an excellent selection of their standby/flagship beers as well as plenty of special taproom only selections. The food was also fantastic and a shout out to our server Evyn - she was wonderful. All in all, DEFINITELY worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Google
Great stop. Spacious on the inside, picturesque on the outside with big patios and Adirondack chairs in the grass. The fries flight is a mountain of French fries with three sauces - the mustard is great. Wonderful chicken sandwiches and flatbread pizza. Don’t miss the pumpkin beer but everything from IPAs to sours are solid. Excellent merch too.

Google
Nice place with lots of space, friendly staff, a large variety of beer, prompt service, and good food. We had the white pizza which was very good and large enough to split between 2 of us. My husband had the Nut Brown Ale and Midnight Sun Black Lager which he enjoyed both very much. Disappointing that dogs aren't allowed but would visit again in our travels with it being one of the better breweries we've been to.

Google
Beer is good. Pizza sucks. Overpriced garbage . Here’s a picture of a $20 pizza. Would you pay? But overall it’s a great location. Make sure you go for a hike ..

Yelp
Warning: Watch for the potholes!!! Great food and good vibes, but on our way out, we hit multiple potholes and blew out two brand new tires on the drivers side of our car. Not sure why this has not been addressed before as when we talked to members of our other party, they had also hit at least one or more pothole Ithaca beer, please fix the potholes, fill them with gravel, at least put a cone to notify your patrons of the potential car damage.

Yelp
The food and beers are excellent. The outdoor patio is beautiful, but swarming with wasps. I liked the friendly service. The butchers board is recommended.

Yelp
Our large group came on a Saturday late afternoon and waited 45 min for a table. We got a few beers while waiting: I recommend the apricot wheat, tropical ipa and blue raz sour. The Cornell mule was also good. I had the chicken bites, fry flight and Cornell chicken sandwich. The fry flight comes with ketchup, honey mustard and ranch. Not a fan of the ketchup as it tastes more like marinara, and the fry flight is quite overpriced for the amount. The fries have a good crispy exterior with a soft and airy interior. Chicken bites were good, not overly battered and comes with a tasty spicy yum yum sauce. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, and the chicken was cooked well. Service was decent, and food came out timely. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The casual picnic tables outside only allow drinks and fries. They have corn hole and frisbee golf outside, and shuffle board inside.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 | Service: 3.5/5 | Experience: 3/5 My party of 6 came for dinner on the weekend. We expected a wait but was told our table would be ready soon - that "soon" turned into around 20-30 minutes of standing around. Once we were seated, it took quite a long time for us to get served, and while our drinks arrived relatively quickly, we waited around 45 minutes for our food to arrive. I had ordered the lava lamp mocktail and the taproom burger. The mocktail was a bit fizzy, sweet, and a pretty pink color; it was very enjoyable. The burger was a bit dry, but the sauce was able to mask it. Overall, food was ok and prices were fair, but the wait was very long.

Yelp
Ithaca Beer Company might be one of my favorite local beers I've had when it's available at a bar I go to. Their Flower Power is iconic and strong. So when I was up here for a mini weekend trip, I made sure we stopped by here. Their flight is $12 where you can get 4 different 4 ounce pours. Pretty good deal and 4 ounces is a lot. Definitely try their seasonals as the "Core Beliefs" you can try anytime. We also got food to take with us. The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich ($17) is a hit with their chipotle buttermilk marinated chicken with Flower Power pickles and aioli sauce on brioche bun. We also had their Spinach & Mushroom Pizza ($18) which we also enjoyed. A bit oily as you'd expect from a pizza. Consisted of sautéed mushroom blend, kale, spinach, garlic oil base, and mozzarella. It's also worth considering buying a case of beer here if you really enjoy the beer as they're sold at a discount. I picked up a box of 10 Flower Power, which as 16 ounce cans for $18. That's under $2 a can! My local beer store would sell these for $15 a pop (markup is crazy).

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to get some delicious pizza and try some great beers, this is it! The portion sizes are enough to share which makes it more fun to try more items on the menu. I'm not a big beer drinker but our waitress did a great job with helping me decide what to try based on what I told her I liked and didn't. The outside seating is so nice too!

Yelp
New into beers and love Sours and Stouts. Not too many exciting options for me here but good looks good and atmosphere is inviting. My favorite is the Apricot Wheat Beer. Lovely aroma of apricots and light and refreshing on the tongue.

Yelp
The beers are diverse and excellent. Everyone at the table would give them 5/5. The service was quite good. 4/5. The food was excellent bar food. 4/5. The appetizers the table ordered were the bacon nibs (pork belly and hot honey), poutine, and the butcher board (meat and cheese plate). All were excellent and eaten quickly. The table had a selection of sandwiches- the highlights were the hot roast beef and the Cornell-style chicken. Definitely worth the drive out of the main area of Ithaca to enjoy this place.

James V.

Yelp
beware first of all about the road conditions upon entering this establishment! not sure who's responsible for the roads but you literally can't avoid the pot holes...they're EVERYWHERE! The waitress was new and not well trained. she was not aware of what beverages they offered, brought our appetizer out with the main meal and then simply stopped serving our table and had someone else do it. the food was terrible and overpriced. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was surprised to find out that it was dark meat with a thick line of cartilage running through it. definitely a disappointment.

Yelp
You're not gonna get the best experience if you come here for the food rather than the beer. My first experience here was just drinks, which was awesome- the apricot wheat is delicious. Service is my biggest concern here. They close the kitchen far before the restaurant does and they should make that clearer- you need to come more than an hour before the restaurant closes if you want food. Otherwise, good place to get drinks

Yelp
Great service! Fantastic with kids. Relaxed vibe. Wish they had another GF option or two.

Yelp
We were seated immediately. We had a flight each. We had no beer complaints. We shared the seasonal salad and the Cornell chicken sandwich. Both were awesome! Hand cut fries come with a seasoned ketchup that was delicious. We sat at a table, played shuffle board and enjoyed the lawn. I highly recommend the lawn!

Yelp
The atmosphere is great, they have a real nice outdoor area although not sure when it opens because we've tried on a few warm days and they weren't sitting outside. But the inside is spacious and nice. The food is decent and the beer is fine it's just nothing spectacular, totally drink able but since it's a brewery you'd hope it be more notable. It's worth an average place that's worth a stop.

Yelp
What could be better than fresh beer from the tap at Ithaca Beer Company? The highlight of this visit was the pumpkin beer. July is the best time to get pumpkin beer (who knew) when it's at its freshest. This pumpkin beer was so fresh and so smooth that my husband and I didn't want to order anything else. We even purchased a few packs to take home. We visited during a storm so the outdoor space was closed. A total bummer because it looked absolutely gorgeous! Next time, I hope. The inside was of course packed and there was a long wait for a table. Luckily a spot opened up at the bar which is first come first serve! They've got a pretty large food menu with pretty typical brewery fare. Think nachos, pizza, burgers, etc. The pepperoni pizza was thin crust and super cheesy - my fave. We also shared poutine which was a hit (when is it not?!). They have super cute merch, fun flight combos and of course all the beer you could get your hands on. My toxic trait is that I get drunk at breweries and like to spend too much money. So, now I have plenty of Ithaca beer to keep me going and a cool new tie dye tee. A win!

Yelp
Outstanding all the way around food service, and atmosphere, wings were delicious, my fiancé loved their siders

Yelp
Went to visit on 10-19-24. Ordered beer and food for my wife and I. We were sitting in the tent because we had our dogs with us. I brought the beer to the table and our friends who where directly behind me we're not allowed to order stating the kitchen was at capacity and they could only order at the bar! What differwnxe dose that make where you are seated. I ended up cancelling our our dinner since we did not want to have only half our party with food. Felt.this was not handled well. Won't be back.

Bill L.

Yelp
Fries were super bland, the wait for a table was over an hour despite several tables being open and the staff is very robotic (hostess was very nice!). Burgers had a very odd taste to them, Caesar salad was had way too much dressing but the soup and grilled cheese were good. If you like soup, grilled cheese and water, this is your place!
google avatar

Vanessa M.

Yelp
The space is amazing, and perfect in the summer for outdoor beer and snacks. Unfortunately, they're missing opportunities here. Every time we've been there have been long waits, unfriendly servers and so many rules. No dogs are allowed (huge outdoor space so this is a big bummer) and you can't order food from inside at most of the tables outside. When you do get table service, it is always slow and the food is subpar. Unless you really love their beers (or their root beer, it's delicious!), this is just an average spot, there are many other places you can find in Ithaca with better service, food and fun outdoor space.

Yelp
Lovely place to get food and a beer at - I came here two times (once last year and once this year) and the food and beer is consistent. I especially love the outdoor seating during the summer time. I got the fried chicken sandwich the first time and it was delicious. The second time, I got the smokehouse chicken sandwich (grilled chicken) and it was surprisingly flavorful with some sweet, savory sauce and a piece of bacon to really bring the flavors out and balance out the typical blandness of grilled chicken. Service here is good, very busy though especially on a nice day out. So, good to call ahead to reserve, but walk-ins are also ok (I did a walk-in, waited about an hour, came at 6:30pm).
google avatar

Yelp
Cornell chicken sandwich was lit. Fries are next level. I'm not a beer guy but the whiskey and ginger beer was delicious.

Yelp
Came here after a hike at buttermilk falls state park (3 min away) and what an excellent choice! It's kid friendly - so my son had a burger and I had a nice beer flight. Nice ambience, good lighting, open layout and space and accommodating to kids with pleasant service made my trip memorable. Will definitely be back with my family again!

Jack B.

Yelp
Came in two minutes after their "last seating" time, which is well before their closing time and not listed on their website. We pointed out this out, but the hostess was dismissive and made no effort to double check with her manager, despite the place not being busy. In the future, we will skip this place for somewhere that appreciates regular and well paying customers.

Talia J.

Yelp
Sat at the single picnic table on the grass near the food tent outside, since we were with our dog. We had gotten mixed information regarding whether dogs are allowed: online (including some Yelp reviews) I read we could sit with our canine companion under the outdoor tent, but when we got there we were told we had to stay *outside* the tent, on the grass, where we could use the Adirondack chairs (it was a beautiful, sunny afternoon--too sunny not to have the shelter of the tent, but we dealt). We ordered a few drafts of the apricot summer wheat beer (crisp and smooth), cheese nachos (surprisingly tasty queso), and the tacos: carnitas, chicken mole and beef barbacoa. Everything was delicious but I was most impressed with the tortillas themselves: they appeared to be hand-made, with delicious charred spots but supple and filling at the same time. You could taste the corn through and through! (I'm a tortilla snob, admittedly). Keep up the good work, Ithaca Beer Co., and please admit dogs under the tent.

Yelp
We had a nice stop here after hiking Buttermilk! This was my second visit but first in many years - we enjoyed a lot about our ~hour and a half here. The views/outdoor area are unbeatable on a hot summer day. We enjoyed the ample seating they had out in the beer garden area and the staff was friendly and able to handle the high volume that comes through. You can make a reservation for their full menu seating OR enjoy the limited menu out in the beer garden. A couple of things did really miss the mark on our visit, most important being the beer. We ordered two of the flights on the menu and each beer we tried tasted SO watered down and flat. I've had the Apricot Wheat many times and was excited to have it directly from the brewery...it tasted like apricot flavored water. We arrived and ordered right at opening so I am wondering if that made a difference? We both thought we were just losing our minds, because how could ALL of the lines be serving up sub-standard beer? It was super bizarre. If you're ordering from the limited menu outside, the fried chicken sam is the way to go. I needed a vegetable in my life and thought the kale caesar would do the trick, but it was literally just a mountain of kale with croutons, cheese and dressing - steeply priced at $11. The salad was edible but would benefit from some fresh basil and a bigger variety of greens. The huge kale stems made every bite a workout somehow?! I would still come back after a hike and order something else - maybe it was just a rough day. Still very much worth a visit if in Ithaca!

Yelp
Loved this place so much! The patio was packed, so we went inside to sit and eat; had the place to ourselves! Our server was awesome, with great suggestions and friendly banter. With her floor-length braid and easy-going smile and attitude, I felt like she's work there a long time. Our burgers were perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon visiting the city.

Yelp
First timers here! My partner and I checked out Ithaca Beer Co on a cloudy, cool Sunday around 5pm and it was busy! We were quoted at 40 mins so we gave the hostess our phone number so that they could text us when the table was ready. In the mean time, we ordered a couple of flights at the bar and then scored a couple bar seats for dinner. They have lots of seating inside at tables/the bar and outside. The staff were busy but friendly and attentive nonetheless. We tried the Kale Salad and requested the side portion which was HUGE for a side portion. The Cheddar Ale Soup is insanely rich and delicious! You can compare it to beer cheese. We also ordered 1 pepperoni pizza and 1 white pizza. They were both delicious, but the white pizza was our favorite! We thought the pepperoni had too much pepperoni. We really enjoyed the hops flight, especially Flower Power which tasted better than I remember their bottles tasting. We can't wait to come back!!!

Yelp
Wonderful food, great service and awesome beer! What more can you ask for! Puiled pork sandwich was so good!

Yelp
Beer, chicken sandwiches, great views and friends is a winning combination for a spectacular time. Arrived at the Ithaca beer company around noon and there was plenty of parking and space but when we left about 2 the place was getting pretty crowded so plan accordingly. We were given bracelets at the door to indicate our IDs were checked which made ordering for food easier and faster. Both the inside and outside are open which two bodegas to order from, one with a smaller limited menu and the other the full menu! The Frut was a good sour, definitely on the lighter side for a sour in my opinion but a nice option for a sunny day. The chicken sandwich was nicely breaded and spiced alongside the toasted garlic aioli bun and fries. Great place and location for a group and family!
google avatar

Rachael M.

Yelp
Really nice setting and vibe with a large beer menu and dinner food. The outdoor tables and string lights are really nice in the warm weather. The vegan chorizo burger was good, and I'd love to see more vegan/plant-based options here in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place, great people, great beer... Oh and the Buffalo chicken pizza with fig drizzle was awesome as well. In town for a week on biz and finding the (best) local breweries is high on my list. This one did not dissapoint in any way. Several IPA variants on-tap (which I usually favor...) but this big saison was a hit for me. Everyone tweaks the IPA these days (and that's fine by me) but none of them said uniquely my style like this farmhouse ale. I did have a few more of your beers on-tap in town and knowing what they were made me feel even more at home when I supported a local.
google avatar

Yelp
The vibes at Ithaca Beer Company are incredible! On a nice day their you can't beat the view from the patio. The beer flight was delicious and affordable for the amount of beer you get - and there are several options to choose from. The service was incredible as well. We sat at the bar and the bartender was really helpful and knowledgeable about that beers on tap. The food is good. I'm not sure the kale salad had any kale in it, just spring mix but it's nice that they have several different food options. Overall, this is a great place to come for a date, reunion with friends, or family fun afternoon. Will be back!

Yelp
A classic stop in Ithaca! I've been here probably 5 or 6 times, but this was my first time during covid. The food here is always excellent, and there are lots of beer options. For covid, they have some indoor dining (plexiglass in between tables) and a LOT of outdoor seating. They have everything from covered outdoor seats, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, etc. I went on a Saturday afternoon (60 degrees and sunny) at 3pm and we snagged one of the last open tables. They have an outdoor tent taking orders and give you a buzzer to know when to pick up your food. The line was already pretty long (we stood there for 15 min), and our food/drinks took about 20 minutes to come out. I normally get the taproom burger (comes with fries) - very juicy and tasty, and comes with fries. The blue cheese + BBQ burger is also delicious. This time I split the glasser pizza (beef, onions, jalapeno, BBQ) and the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with a friend. Pizza was good (a little oily on the bottom), but very cheesy and lots of complex flavors. The fried chicken sandwich was average and came with pickles and aioli on top. The portion was kind of small and was was more of a breaded-type and not the super crispy type. For drinks, I'm a huge fan of the apricot wheat. I'm not big on their flagship flower power - too IPA-y and bitter for me. I tried the frut sour ale this time - I liked it. It had a very tart cranberry taste and wasn't too sweet either. Would definitely come back again. The food prices seem to be going up unfortunately and portions seemed a little smaller this time. I hope this was an anomaly !

Yelp
I came here for dinner with a friend, they had a great atmosphere and beautiful scenery. There was a bit of a wait but we got beers and sat down. Service was great and I really enjoyed my grilled cheese.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best stops while we were in Ithaca! I was totally impressed by the food, the drinks and the brewery itself. I can only imagine how awesome and beautiful it must be come spring/summer when you can enjoy the adirondak chairs and outdoor tables. We stopped in for a few drinks but ended up splitting one of the pizzas. They have a huge beer list but I've never loveeeeed beer so I tried one of their cocktails. In my experience, that is sometimes a silly thing to do at a brewery but the Ithaca Mule was fantastic! You can get a single or a double (love that you can control the amount of alcohol) and it was just the most wonderful take a Moscow Mule. Perfectly refreshing. Everyone else in my group was loving their beer or cider of choice as well. The four of us split the 3 cheese and garlic pizza at the recommendation of the bartender and man oh man was it good. They had these colorful panes between each table and over the bar as a covid precaution, and that is only a guess because they somehow worked so well with the space. I really would not be surprised if those were always a part of the room because they just looked like another funky part of the brewery. The walls are all decked out in awesome art that you'll for sure want to take home. It was a great place to unwind and hang out for a bit. If another trip to Ithaca is ever planned, a stop here will be a must.

Yelp
Looking forward to returning to this little gem when the weather gets warmer. Situated south of Ithaca on a little bit of a hill they have an impressive outside beer garden area which looked very inviting but was a bit too chilly this visit. They had some nice specials for the teacher week including buy one get one free pizza and 25% off all other purchases. We enjoyed some flower power and will definitely be back

Yelp
My wife and I visited on a Friday afternoon. Service was slow once seated- certainly not because they were busy. Once we ordered the beer came out quickly and was good. Never saw our server again. We had to flag down another server to inquire as to status of our food order. She told us 10 more minutes and offered no apologies. When asked, she lied and told us a large party came in and our server was helping them. Total BS. Food was acceptable for a brewery but not exceptional. When we left there were 8 staff (literally) standing around the register talking- including our original server. Mistakes happen but lying is never the right answer.
google avatar

Paula C.

Yelp
We stopped by with a group of 7 for lunch on a rainy Friday. All seating was outside on that day but the large tents kept nice and dry. Their tables were nice and big so we had no issue finding a spot where we could all stay together. Ithaca Beer Co kept us safe by allowing us to order, single file, at a register outside. They delivered our drinks promptly and gave us buzzers to let us know when our food was ready to be picked up. I am still thinking about my hot tomato soup and grilled cheese - it was seriously SO GOOD especially on this chilly rainy day. The beer was fresh and cold and paired perfectly with our Fry Flight. Comfort food and local beer on a chilly, rainy day - what else can you ask for?

Mark M.

Yelp
Always a go to when in Ithaca. Our son graduated from Ithaca College and have been here many times and have never been disappointed . Beer is excellent

Yelp
Spacious, clean, and lively brewery with good food and drinks. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the Fried Chicken Sandwich. The pizza was pretty good, especially if you like spicy food. The real MVP was the Fried Chicken Sandwich, which was perfectly crispy and juicy. We also ordered flights of beers. They were very generous with their pours as I'm tipsy as I'm writing this right now. Our favorites were the Apricot Wheat and Every Day Haze.
google avatar

Christie L.

Yelp
Beautiful environment and felt safe with the outdoor dining set up. Social distancing enforced with wearing masks walking around and when not eating/drinking. The tables and chairs set-up were nicely spaced out. There were lots of lush grass where some people brought blankets to sit on. Lots of green and blue skies. I'm not a big drinker but I tried the Raspberry Soirée Sour and it was so good! Not very sweet and didn't taste like alcohol, just the way I like it. It was light and refreshing after a long drive from Boston. My husband got the Flower Power which he really enjoyed. We got the Local Burger and Fries Flight which we're both delicious. Fries salted and crisped just right. The flight came with 3 sauces (homemade ketchup, ranch and spicy mayo?). My fav was the spicy mayo and ranch. The ketchup tasted like cocktail sauce and was alright. The burger was super tasty with the marrow infused patty, thick bacon, fig, boursin cheese, and fresh greens. So yum. Great atmosphere and love that they use "green" cups and recycle!

Yelp
It's hard to enjoy a beer knowing this place is ran by poor management that treats its staff inhumanely. The lack of leadership is seen through the changes that used to make this place great. The portion sizes, prices and beer have all changed. The staff is friendly and they care about the customers. If only management felt the same to not only just care about the customer experience but treating staff in a way that valued them and their commitment. Would not support a place that is mediocre with failing leadership and an overall experience.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite spots in the Finger Lakes! The root beer was the best I've ever tasted, and it's on tap! The apricot beer was so unique and tasty! I got the vegan chorizo burger and it was SO GOOD !!!! 100% recommend this place !
google avatar

Slak B.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place based on our friends' suggestion that it has a nice outdoor seating with a beer garden setting. But they no longer seem to have the outdoor tent / beer garden, despite what the staff told us on the phone. We called in advance to ask if outdoor seating was available and when we got there, the staff rudely told us "we are not seating outside 0 not sure what you heard". On top of that, we were disappointed with the food options which were greasy and limited in choice - even compared to standard pub fare. Beer is good but that didn't make up for the rude attitude and unwelcome nature of the staff.

Yelp
Be warned you may be overcharged and management will not amend your issue! Very disappointed with how the manager, Amanda, handled my customer service issue. I called and spoke with her after two of my credit cards were charged incorrectly. I explained to Amanda that when I was cashing out, the employee ran my credit card that I used to open a tab, and then the employee told me he needed a different card to cash me out. In the moment I did not question it and offered a second card. The next day I realized both cards were charged the full amount I owed, so I paid double what I really owed. Over the phone, Amanda looked up the transaction and saw that I had two cards charged, she then refunded one of my cards because of the incorrect payment. Later, she rescinded the refund and told me the restaurant would be out money. I do not understand why this has resulted in the customer having to pay double what I owed. Be warned if you chose to dine here that you could be overcharged or have employees fool you out of money.

I came here on a Saturday for lunch and was not disappointed! I arrived right before noon on a Sunday and the parking lot was already filling up. It is definitely a place that gets busy, but they had a huge outdoor space, enforced social distancing and masks, and had a good ordering process for efficiency. We ordered our food and drinks and were provided a buzzer to come to the pick up area once it was ready. No indoor seating is available at this time. There were lots of bees outside, but aside from that, the location and seating was perfect. I liked how certain beer options came in half sizes so that you could try more than one. No flights were offered and I wish the half sizes were available for all the beers. I really loved the two I ordered - apricot wheat and flower power IPA. As for food, the Caesar salad was incredible! Great portion size and the flavors were excellent. I loved the tomato in there! Two of my friends ordered the chicken sandwich and they enjoyed them as well. I would return to this place - for the food and the beer.

Yelp
Really impressed by the beers here, we actually went back twice to see what the food was all about. They have a nice selection of beers including some fruitier beers, West coast IPAs and some ales. Got a small selection of single beers and the consensus on a favorite was the nut brown ale. It was creamy, chocolaty and not too bitter. Even though it was a warmer day i still quite enjoyed it that I went back later with dinner and bought a 6 pack along with the fruit beer pack. Food was pretty fantastic too, the burger we got had goat cheese and the meat was infused with bone marrow (YUM). The side was pretty neat as they made some vegetable potato chips with a dipping sauce of green onion and sour cream. I had all but lost hope for the NY beer scene that I seldomly order a beer these days. This place has given me hope again, hopefully they have some available in the city.

Yelp
We were visiting nearby Cornell University and decided to stop here. I hate to judge a restaurant based on one visit but this was my experience. The beer is fantastic as others have said. I loved the amazing root beer from the Ithaca soda company too. The food not so much. My burger sounded amazing by the description with lots of local and homemade items. I had the tap house burger. The patty was over cooked on the outside and had an odd slightly off putting taste. The bun it came on is a cheap supermarket style roll that quickly disintegrated and fell apart when faced with the hot burger. The ketchup had a sour taste and quite a bit of spicy heat. I like heat but my mom does not so she couldn't eat it. The fries were homemade but much too salty for my taste. My teenage son didn't mind the salty flavor mixed with gravy in his poutine. Not a lot of cheese curds in there though. Service was friendly and efficient. The cost was high for the quality of the food. I did bring home lots of beer for my husband though.

Yelp
Always great food and service here. This is my third visit and the first during winter weather. The dining area is relaxed but bright which is a great thing when the weather is so cold. All the staff were very attentive and there were a lot of them serving. Our waiter was very attentive and the food arrived quickly. I had the dessert special and although it sounded like an odd combination; bacon, ice cream and bread pudding so go well together. I tried the Fuggly Sweater beer which was amazing. Light seasonal flavor that wasn't overpowering. The bar was full so I know other patrons were enjoying many of the various flavors. Great experience all-around. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I was at the brewery today for lunch. To say that the wait staff is indifferent is a compliment. The food was just meh. They are using marinara sauce instead of ketchup, which is crazy. I paid $18 for a SMALL burger and a few fries and couldn't even get actual ketchup. The beer was okay, but not worth the price. To boot, they add 20% gratuity to the bill automatically. I would recommend going elsewhere.
