"Recently, there was a lovely story shared on Facebook by a dad who took his youngish daughter to the skate park. She was a little intimidated by the older teens and hung back watching, but a young man approached her and gave her some tips about riding and made her feel welcome in the space. It's that kind of place. The new park was completed in September 2015, expanding the old park's offerings with new concrete ramps, handrails, and a staircase. The funds for the expansion were raised by a local group over a ten year period and a local store, Homegrown Skateshop, was instrumental in meeting grant deadlines for construction. It's free to use as long as you play nice." - St. John Design Group

Relatively clean nice Skatepark. Of course my scooter enthusiasts have preferences for things in the layout but overall a nice park.
Restrooms and additional seating areas around the skate section would be nice. But it works.

From a previous long time skate boarder, the park seems fantastic. I have never heard or seen any negative about it. It looks like great fun and if I still skated I would really like it there. I see all ages and thankfully girls skating there too. I don't have personal experience there but I drive by constantly and it looks inviting and friendly.

The addition onto the original park is outstanding. Smooth concrete, a variety of verts and street riding with an excellent mix of beginner and intermediate riding. The original side has a few new additions and has been maintained well. Only down side is the occasional mountain bike in the park.

Good fun street plaza setup. More setup for skating. The bigger(older) section has a lot of room for improvement but had a great time.

A decent sized skatepark that is pretty well maintained. It seemed like a relatively welcoming area and popular spot for local skaters. Good park to check out!
