Twelve floors sounds impressive, but most of the crowd ends up squeezed into Level 5 for the stationery section.
Staff weren’t exactly friendly. I politely asked one of them about a pen, even showed a photo and he just shrugged and said “sold out” without even looking me in the eye. Minutes later, I saw him chatting with another staff member, both just standing around at the corner of the store while facing customers. Not helpful, not welcoming.
It’s no wonder everyone ends up crowding around trying to find what they need on their own. The pen section is packed and chaotic. Pens are small and there are tons of them, but no one around to assist or answer questions. People end up pushing past each other trying to figure it out.
Product organization is messy. For example, Pentel pens were in two different spots with no clear system. The layout makes it harder than it should be to find anything.
Overall, the store feels overrated. It looks impressive with 12 floors, but each level is tiny. You can find the same or better stationery selections at other department stores, minus the hassle. Would give this one a skip unless you’re just sightseeing.
