"We, Mamimu, grew up with this brand yet it never fails to surprise me. Especially the newly imagined flagship store in Ginza. With a mission to “make your creative moment more beautiful and comfortable”, this hip 12-storey store houses wonderfully designed goods from all over the world with something to make almost anybody's heart beat that little bit faster. As if that wasn't enough, there is a “Paper Concierge” on the 7th floor to help you find THE paper of your dreams, the 10th floor business lounge (wittily named as HandShake Lounge) is completed with Vitra office furniture. Itoya even grows their own vegetables in the building and serve them in the cafe on the top floor. It always impresses me that this century old retailer is constantly evolving and innovating to stay on top of the game." - Mamimu

"The stationery shop Itoya resembles a museum, with its exquisite displays and handsome collection. The main shop on Chuo Dori has 12 floors of paper, stationery, pens, planners, and a café. The annex on the backstreet has seven floors of paints, colored pencils, notebooks, and more. Itoya is a great spot to pick up gifts for friends back home. It's easy to find—just look for the giant red paper clip in front of the building."

This is probably a paradise for people who like stationery, from popular items to luxury goods. You can see the items here are arranged in an extremely beautiful and attractive color order. It seems to be full of all stationery you need, including Thai academic seats. Besides, there are a few kitchen utensils, probably because in Japanese housewives is also a job ^^. I really like the way they respect that.

Just amazing! The building has 12F but only 8F were stationery-full. Skip the 'cafe' on the top floor - it's more like a restaurant. There are escalators going up but not going down, so would recommend going from bottom to up if you don't want to be using the stairs too much. Otherwise the lifts also work fast and well but generally be ready to wait! If you love stationery like me, do expect to spend up to 3 hours here or more, and to definitely spend money! I went during the year end period so at the basement, there was a massive collection of calendars going for sale. From as low as 10 yen to 300 yen - take your pick. I also particularly enjoyed the postcard segment.

Stationery lovers' paradise. This place is incredible. Already quite crowded on Monday afternoon. Escalators go up, stairs go down, and there's one elevator that serves all levels. Place is nice, new and well stocked. Stuff are not cheap, but all beautiful and aesthetic. Great place to shop for gifts.

You can easily spend 3 hours in this store. I arrived at 10am and there were already many people inside. Some floors were pretty empty but the one with pens was overcrowded making it hard to choose a pen you like. The selection is great. There are floors with art materials, pens, notebooks, postcards, etc. I suggest buying a postcard there, because its quality and design is hard to find elsewhere. The prices are pretty much the same as anywhere else (like Loft) and they offer tax free on the spot. I bought Copic markers there and they cost the same as in Loft. Given the store’s size, it’s better when you know what you want, otherwise, 3 hours might not be enough.

This place is a multi-level have for writing enthusiasts. I recently visited this store, a true paradise for anyone with an appreciation for fine writing instruments, paper goods, and organisational tools. Spread across multiple floors, each level offers an immersive and focused shopping experience. While every floor had something special to offer, Level 3—the luxury pens floor—was the highlight of my visit. Upon entering, you’re greeted by gleaming glass cases displaying an exquisite range of high-end pens. The layout is sleek and modern, designed to highlight the craftsmanship of each piece. It stands out as one of the finest luxury pen sections I’ve seen. Although the store is incredibly busy, the staff on this floor were very kind and patient. I was helped extensively by Chinatsu Yamamoto, who is a humble and kind member of the team, who helped me purchase several items on my visit there. A must-visit for anyone with a passion for writing instruments or an eye for luxury.

Amazing art store! There is so much to choose from. They have escalators to go up and stairs to go down. They also have an elevator but it’s usually full and takes a while. The prices are reasonable for art supplies😅. They have cashiers on almost every floor I think. There is a lot of paint, pencils, pens, markers, highlighters, etc.

This is one building of cards, diaries, paper, folios, traveling nots, and fountain pens. For fountain pens I saw the inexpensive like pilot kakuno, to the slightly uncommon Faber-Castell and a lot of other pens. What caught my eye was ink. Fabulous concoctions and radical colors. I went to buy travellers notebook inserts. I was not disappointed.
