Itsanitaq Museum

Very happy to have had a tour of this museum! Easy to get to (about 2 blocks north, 1 block east of the train station) and we were fortunate to arrive with a group, so we got a guided tour of the exhibits. Featuring mostly bone/tusk carvings and some other animal exhibits, this gave a fascinating view into the life of those who live so close to the top of the world. And yes, there is a gift shop.

Beautiful display of Inuit art and culture. They have a small gift shop on-site. Staff are very nice. A nice place to know all about history.

We were on the Frontiers North polar bears tour, very good if you can stand the cold

I loved this museum! Staff were very nice and there are so many items to admire! They have a nice gift shop with the best prices in town! Highly recommended! It’s free but donations are appreciated!

A must-see museum in Churchill. You will find many stuffed animals here, especially the King Polar Bear, as well as a lot of historical northern equipment.

I loved the displays on traditional Inuit art and culture. Loved learning the stories of their people. The museum staff were very knowledgeable and kind. Older building, but I liked the vintage charm. A simple one room display packed with marvellous treasures.

Nice place to discover inuit art and culture

Very informative museum on the people, animals, region, and culture of the surrounding area. Worth a visit while in Churchill. The museum itself isn't very large but it offers many artifacts to browse through and information to read. It also has a nice gift shop for the Churchill souvenir. Don't forget to sign the guest book before departing.
